Video summary

The latest hotfix update 1.0.4 for The Blood of Dawnwalker has been rolled out across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms, bringing a series of significant improvements to the game's stability and gameplay mechanics. Developers have addressed numerous issues that previously hindered quest progression, including problems where players could not save their games or where specific actions like using Voracious Bite too quickly would block tutorial steps. The update also resolves graphical glitches such as torches glowing uncontrollably and fixes controller input lag caused by outdated software on Steam, ensuring a smoother experience for all users regardless of their console generation. Beyond general stability, the patch introduces targeted fixes for quests and audio elements that were causing frustrating interruptions. Several NPCs will now behave correctly, with dead characters unable to initiate dialogues and specific quest blockers removed from locations like caves and wreck investigations. The update also ensures that characters like Corinne and Logue can drink from their cups even on low graphical settings, while correcting an error where a prohibited red pipe asset was visible in the game world. Additionally, audio issues in the prologue have been resolved, and miscellaneous fixes ensure that quality presets apply properly and music plays without interruption throughout the story. Despite these improvements, the infinite money glitch remains functional after the latest patch, allowing players to exploit a specific vendor mechanic to generate unlimited gold. The strategy involves eliminating a guard wearing braces during the day while ensuring the door behind him is closed, which prevents other guards from entering to stop the action. Once the guard is dead, players can repeatedly loot his body for the braces, which sell for 15 gold each at any vendor across the map. To maximize this exploit, users are advised to store the infinite supply of loot in a shrine, as vendors despawn if the player moves too far away or saves and reloads the game, making it crucial to farm the items quickly before storing them for later use.

So, guys, we are back with another The Blood of Doom Walker video. And today, guys, we go over the latest update hotfix of 1.0.4. Let's go. How's it going, guys? My name's DPGN. If you do enjoy the video, leaving a like really helps out. And if you like what you see and want to see more, be sure to subscribe. Okay, so this arrived earlier on today, and it's being rolled out on PC, PS5, and the Xbox Series X and S. And by the time you load this game back up, you should see you have this update waiting for you. So, we'll get into it, guys, and starting with what they say is highlights of what this patch or what this hotfix would need include. Uh so, we have improved the game's stability, fixed several issues that blocked quest progression, fixed an issue that blocked players from saving the game, Steam-only connecting controllers with the outdated game input software should no longer cause FPS drops, and torches can no longer glow uncontrollably. Okay, so the full list of changes, let's go through them. Stability: Multiple improvements to the game's stability. I'm not going to lie, on Xbox Series X, definitely needs this. Gameplay: Fixed an issue that blocked the tutorial progress if Voracious uh Bite was used a bit too fast. Fixed issues that caused Coin to get stuck inside certain houses with no way of getting out. That's kind of awkward. Uh Krayt can now talk to Coin even during the training sequence. Dead NPCs can no longer start dialogues. Fixed an issue that disabled blocking under certain circumstances. Fixed an issue that blocked players from saving the game. And adjustments to controller dead zone and input issues while sprinting. Okay, so now moving on to quests. Ochur will no longer attack Coin when attacked by guards. Fixed an issue that caused Coin to get stuck in a cave in the deep down quest. Fix an issue that caused uh Merzbow to not spawn under certain circumstances. Fix an issue that caused one of the possible solutions for the hide and seek quest to end uh prematurely. Progressing the on the run quest no longer causes infinite loading. I actually had infinite loading on a quest with the fairy when I had to go in and save her brother. Which done my head in, I'm not going to lie. Um I can't remember off the top of my head what that quest is called now. A lone wolf's hunt now appropriately shows the difficulty level. Fix an issue that caused a soft lock after following Sarah. Investigating the wreck is now optional in the smoke and ashes quest. Fix an issue that caused a blocker in the heart once while it once quest. Okay, so now on to art. Corinne and Logue will now drink from their cups even on low graphical settings. We are no longer using that one red pipe asset uh we weren't supposed to use. Yes, I don't know if you guys saw that. It was actually an asset you could see which actually said backwards um do not use this. So, yeah, obviously they've took that out now. Audio fix an issues that caused music to stop playing in the prologue. And miscellaneous theme only connecting controllers with the outdated game input software should no longer cause FPS drops. Torches can no longer go uncontrollably and fixed an issue that prevented quality preset from applying properly. Plug in here PC only fixed issues with Vsync uh when using FSR frame generation. Uh and that is that guys for the hotfix of 1.0.4. I do want to quickly check those to see if they have patched the infinite money glitch which um is getting quite popular at the minute. So, let me just quickly load up the game guys and we'll check it right here right now. Okay, so the infinite money glitch takes place right down here. Now, I'm not sure if it still works, but we'll see if it does still work, guys. I'll basically guide you guys through who haven't seen it yet how this works. So, come down to this city, come to this shrine right here. We actually use this shrine. Then you want to come to this armor right here. So, this armor, guys, is up in that building there. You need to come in the daytime. If you take him out, so if you kill this dude, he has a pair of braces on that you can pick up indefinitely and sell them to other vendors around the map. Now, initially when you come here, guys, what I'd suggest is you indeed buy off him if he's got anything you want in his inventory because obviously if you take this guy out, yeah, you're done. So, yeah, buy anything you want off him if you've got the gold and you are good. And then what you want to do, guys, is you want to take him out, but make sure that door is closed behind you. Take him out first because if you hit the uh guard or the NPC down there, he runs out of the room and this this is done. So, yeah. Also, make like I said before you do this. I'm just going to take him out. Boom. That's what I'm going to be like here. Don't worry about the NPC running out there. Let's check out the guard. Quite simple, to be honest. And hopefully, last time I did this, no other guard came in to help. So, yeah. There we go. We're good. And now, guys, if you go to loot his body, see the braces there? If we loot, yep, you can still do it. So, you can loot this dude indefinitely. And these braces will indeed sell for 15 each. And you can stand here spamming all day, all night. Now, like I said, it's a one-time thing, so you need to make the most of this while you're here because if you go too far away from this actual vendor, he despawns. If you save and reload the save, he despawns. Um even if you run too far away and come back, he despawns. So, you need to do it either now. So, just do this for like 15, 20 minutes. And what you want to do is even when you're over-encumbered, like I am now, you can see I'm over-encumbered. I've got 255 weight over 200, so yeah. You can still walk. You can still move quite slowly. So, therefore, I'm here, guys, what you do is you go back to that shrine, store it all inside of that shrine, and then you can come back to this guy if you wanted to keep doing this. Or you could just stand there, like I said, you can stand here for like 10-15 minutes, get thousands of these, thousands of these, guys, then take them to your shrine. And then what you do is find um any vendor on the map, and literally use them to sell your your stuff to him, what you've just actually found from this dude. Just use just just sell them, and you'll make quite a lot of gold coin out of this. You can see right here, guys, I'm walking slowly back to that shrine, where you can store, if you do not know, in your shrines unlimited amounts of loot. So, you haven't got to worry about how much you put in there. Just keep it there until you actually need until you need that gold. And then off you go. And on the map, there's many many vendors, and all these will buy these off you. So, yeah, it's not just this town, too. There's other places you can sell. There's also, don't know if I've got it unlocked on this save, there's a NPC up here. She is a blacksmith. She has like 4,000 gold on her loan. So, yeah. So, keep that in mind. So, I'm just going to slowly walk to the shrine. You realize it still works, so you can still take advantage of this after this latest hotfix. This will indeed be nerfed 100% cuz it's a proper glitch, a proper exploit. So, use the shrine, go to storage, and just put all these in here, and you are good. It's not going to make much of a difference on this save for me cuz it's an old save. I was just testing it, but yeah. So, it still works, guys, after latest patch. So, take advantage of this while you can, people. But there we have it, guys, the latest update, uh amazing money glitch that still works. Guys, if you enjoyed the video, leave it a like. It really helps out. If you like what you see and want to see more, be sure to subscribe. And hopefully, guys, I will see you on that next one.
