Video summary
The seven-star Glimmora Tera Raid event is now active in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, offering players a unique opportunity to capture this Mightiest Mark Pokémon before the limited-time window closes on August 13th. Alongside the raid battle itself, there are special mass outbreaks occurring for both Glimmorra and Gimmorah across Paldea and The Teal Mask DLC areas, featuring boosted shiny rates that allow collectors a week to secure these rare Rock/Poison-type creatures. A crucial tip for hunters is to utilize Pokémon with the Damp ability during shiny hunts; since Glimmora can use Self-Destruct, having a partner like Politoed ensures you do not lose potential shinies if one triggers an explosion upon defeat.
For those looking to solo this challenging raid efficiently, the video highlights Slowking as the premier choice due to its availability in both base games and via transfer from Pokémon Home or DLC access. The recommended build features a Poison Tera type with a Shell Bell held item to sustain health through recovery moves like Sludge Bomb. This specific configuration utilizes an EV spread of 252 HP and Special Defense, paired with the Modest nature, while running a move set consisting of Amnesia, Acid Spray, Nasty Plot, and Sludge Bomb. The ability selection is flexible for this encounter, but the focus remains on maximizing special bulk to withstand Glimmora's powerful attacks before unleashing devastating damage.
The battle strategy relies heavily on manipulating stat drops that persist until the raid timer reaches 40%, allowing Slowking to capitalize on lowered Special Defense stats early in the fight. The sequence begins with Amnesia followed by three uses of Acid Spray, which chip away at Glimmora's health while significantly reducing its defensive capabilities. Once the shield activates around 80% HP remaining, players should switch between healing and setting up Nasty Plot boosts; two instances are typically sufficient to break through defenses without wasting potential damage output if the raid timer nullifies stat drops near the 75% mark. By carefully managing these turns, Slowking can overwhelm Glimmora's shield before its defensive buffs expire, ensuring a quick victory even against this formidable opponent.
Upon defeating Glimmora, players are rewarded with high-cost items such as Large Candy and XL Candies necessary for powering up their teams in the post-game. There is also a 3% chance to obtain one of five Herba Mystica types from each raid battle, making it an essential target for completionists aiming to collect all varieties. The video concludes by suggesting that while various Poké Balls like Beast Ball or Friend Ball are viable options, capturing Glimmora in a Moonball is personally preferred despite the availability of other choices. With this optimized Slowking build and strategic approach, players can confidently tackle the seven-star raid without needing to worry about complex counter-play against Glimmora's diverse movepool.

Hello friends, welcome back to the
channel. The sevenstar terroridate event
for Gamora is now live in Pokemon
Scarlet and Violet. In today's video,
we'll cover all of the details as well
as the best solo builds to take this
mightiest M Pokémon down. To kick off
this 4-week summer challenge, a grass
terror type sevenst star Gamora event
will be running from the 7th until the
13th of August. And alongside this
terrorate event, we will also see a
special mass outbreak events running for
Glimmit and Gamora, both with boosted
shiny rates. Glimmit outbreaks will be
found in primarily Pala and Glimmit and
Glamora outbreaks can be found in keep
access to the Scarlet and Violet DLC's.
So with a week to take advantage of this
mightiest Mal and shiny outbreak event,
it's a great opportunity to add this
unique rock and poison type Pokémon to
your collections. Also, a quick tip for
you. Just make sure that you're using a
Pokemon like Polytor or an alternative
that has access to the damp ability
because Glimmit in particular will have
access to self-destruct and you don't
want to come across a shiny and it
self-destruct on you and then you
essentially lose it. So, just make sure
that you are saving before you encounter
any shinies if you do come across one.
and then have a damp Pokemon ability
Pokémon with you and that should make
sure that your shiny hunts are going a
little bit smoother than they would have
otherwise. So, the build that we're
featuring in today's video is going to
be Slo King. It isn't available in the
base games. You're going to need to
transfer in from Pokémon Home or have
access to the DLCs, but it's going to be
one of the best ways and quickest ways
to run through this sevenstar Gamora. It
is going to have the poison terror type.
It is going to have the held item of the
shell bell. And of course, it is level
100 and all of its IVs are hyper
trained. Now, the move set is going to
be amnesia, nasty plot, acid spray, and
then sludge bomb. And the EV spread is
going to be 252 EVs in HP and in special
defense with the remainder put into
special attack and a modest nature. The
ability on the Slow King doesn't really
matter too much for this raid, and you
can go with anything, but it should look
like this once it's trained up in game.
And as always, the build will be down in
the description below if you want to
take a closer look at it after the
video. So, when you first come into the
raid against the sevenstar Glamora,
there is going to be no turn zero like
I'm more familiar with seeing against
other mightiest mock Pokémon. We're
going straight into the raid. Now, turn
one, we're going to open up with an
amnesia. Gamora hits on the special
attacking side of things. So, just
bolstering that special defense will
just help us get through these first few
turns before we start our onslaught. So
there is the amnesia. Turns two to four.
We're going to use acid spray. So we're
going to essentially use it three times
every time we use it. It is attacking.
It's chipping away at frailization. It's
also more importantly lowering the
special defense on the Gammora by minus
two, which is what we'll be hitting
[music] it with with that sludge bomb,
hitting on the special side of things.
So we want to use three of these. After
this point, we are going to be able to
drastize and do some great damage. And
the nice thing about this raid as well,
the glamora doesn't nullify its stat
drops until the raid timer hits 40%
remaining. And we are going to be long
finished this raid before that point. So
it means these drops that we're [music]
setting up now while we're getting
closer to that trilization are going to
stick throughout the raid, making
slowing one of the best options I think
in this raid. So the shield will go up
around 80% of its HP remaining or the
timer remaining. So depending on the
damage that you're doing now, it looks
like we're just tipping the scales over
after the three acid sprays. You should
see that shield go up. But if you're in
a healthy enough position, you're going
to be at the point where you can just
set three nasty plots up if you want and
then going to be able to clear the raid
very very quickly. If you've taken a bit
of damage to this point, uh I would
recommend just going for a sludge bomb
here uh just to get some health back and
then you can set your nasty plots up.
But you can see the shield isn't very
big either. That's another big bonus
about this. So, two nasty plots is
probably going to be enough. I think
three is probably a little bit of
overkill. So, we'll set two up. That
will break the shield and then we should
be able to clear the raid pretty
quickly. It's a very easy,
straightforward sevenstar raid. If
you're using the slot king, if you've
got access to slo king, I would highly
recommend it. Is going to be one of the
best ways to run through the gamora.
Don't need to worry about any of the
attacking options that [music] it's got
access to and you're going to be in a
really good spot. Now, before it
nullifies uh our drops or our boosts,
which is around 75% of the time
remaining, you want to lock in. This is
probably why it's worth going for just
two nasty plots rather than three,
because it probably will tip you over
the point where it will nullify all of
those nasty plot amnesia boosts that
we've got already, and you don't want to
waste them. So, two nasty plot boosts uh
is going to be enough here. And you can
see the damage that we're doing to the
Gamora here. And hopefully we might be
in a spot once that shield is broken
where the timer hasn't ticked over that
75% mark and our stats aren't nullified
where we can get another attack off. And
if we can, then it will clear the raid.
But if we do see that notification pop
up, it will mean that we're going to
have to just set another nasty plot up.
And there we go. There is the
notification there. 75% of the raid
timer, but we're million miles away from
that 40% where it is going to nullify
its stat uh drop. So, it's still got
that minus six special defense stat. So,
what we can do here is just set
ourselves up one nasty plot and then
we'll be able to clear the raid with one
more sludge bomb. And that's as easy as
it is. Of course, you are able to get
the Gamora in any Pokeball that you've
got access to. Uh it is only one per
save file like normally with these
mightiest mark Pokémon. But let me know
down in the comment section below if
you're running through this raid what
ball you're planning to pick up in. I
don't know. I'm kind of looking at
Moonball. Beast ball's an obvious one.
Beastball feels like the the solid
choice here. I don't have access to a
beast ball at the moment on my save
file. I just need to go to the item
printer and get some of those in the
blueberry academy, but I think a moon
ball fits quite nicely. I don't know
whether to go for a friend ball as well.
That is another option that I did think
to kind of commemorate the grass
terotyping here. But one more sludge
bomb will be enough and this raid should
be wrapped up. There we go. There's that
final sludge bomb. Of course, remember
as well the high cost item drops that
you're going to get from this raid.
You're going to get a lot of large
candy, XL candies, other high cost
items, as well as 3% chance for any one
of the five herbstics to drop every time
we do take this glamora down. And I
think I'm going to lock in with the moon
ball here. One of my favorite balls, so
I don't mind picking glamora up in this
one. And there we go. three herstic asas
are sour, sweet, and assaulty.
Hopefully, you guys have as much luck
when you're running through this raid as
well. If you found the builds in today's
video helpful, please consider dropping
