Video summary
The seven-star Tera Raid event featuring Farigiraf has officially begun in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, running from August 21st to the 27th. During this week, players can encounter this Fairy-type Mightiest Mark Pokémon in special raid dens across Paldea, alongside mass outbreaks of Girafarig and Farigiraf that offer boosted chances to find them with the Intellectual Mark. The video highlights Scizor as the optimal choice for soloing this raid due to its Bug/Steel typing, which provides excellent coverage against Farigiraf's moveset. To maximize effectiveness, the recommended build utilizes a Shell Bell held item and is fully hyper-trained with an Adamant nature, distributing 252 EVs into HP and Attack while filling the remaining slots in Special Defense.
The battle strategy relies heavily on managing stat changes and mitigating Farigiraf's defensive shield, which activates at 90% health and nullifies stat boosts until it is broken. The guide suggests starting with Leer to lower Farigiraf's defense, followed by Struggle Bug to counteract the Special Attack boost that accompanies the shield activation. Once the shield breaks around 70% of the timer remaining, the raid boss will nullify all stat boosts on the player's side; therefore, players should use Iron Head immediately to capitalize on the accumulated attack stages before switching to Swords Dance. This careful timing ensures that Scizor can safely set up multiple layers of Swords Dance without wasting turns, eventually reaching a +6 Attack stage necessary for consistent damage output.
As the raid progresses to 30% health, Farigiraf will nullify stat drops once more, but by this point, Scizor should be in a position to finish the fight without needing further setup. The boss also employs Trick Room and Thunderbolt moves that can paralyze the player, so healing paralysis with items like Leftovers or Grassy Terrain support is crucial if available. While Farigiraf may use Twin Beam, it is not very effective against Scizor's Steel Tera Type, allowing the player to focus on breaking the shield again and dealing massive damage with Iron Head. The video concludes by suggesting that a Level Ball is an excellent choice for catching this legendary Pokémon after the raid, alongside other high-cost items like Ability Capsules and Herba Mystica available during the event.

The seven-star Tera Raid event for
Farigiraf is now live in Pokémon Scarlet
and Violet. In today's video, we'll
cover all of the details as well as the
best solo build to take this Mightiest
Mark Pokémon down.
Hello, friends. Welcome back to the
channel. The next installment of the
summer series events are now live in
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. And for the
next week, running from the 21st until
the 27th of August, we will see this
Fairy Tera Type seven-star Farigiraf
appear in special raid dens in Paldea.
Alongside this Tera Raid event, we will
also see mass outbreak events featuring
Girafarig in Paldea and Girafarig and
Farigiraf outbreaks in the Blueberry
Academy. These outbreaks will have the
boosted chances of finding these
evolution lines with the Intellectual
Mark. So, it's a great opportunity to
have an easier time finding these Mark
Pokémon to add to your collection. So,
the build that we're featuring in
today's video is going to be Scizor. It
is going to be a Bug Steel type, going
to match up pretty well into the
Farigiraf with a Steel Tera Type. The
held item here is going to be a Shell
Bell. And of course, it is going to be
level 100 and all those IVs have been
hyper trained to 31. The move set is
going to be Leer, Swords Dance, Struggle
Bug, which is an TM that you get pretty
early on in the base game, and then Iron
Head, which you can PP Max if you want
to just be a little bit more careful
with this raid. EV spread is pretty
straightforward, 252 EVs in HP and in
Attack with the remainder put into
Special Defense and an Adamant nature.
So, the Scizor should look like this
once you've got it trained up in game.
As always, the build will be down in the
description below and uh we'll jump into
the raid now. I'll show you how easy you
can take down this Mightiest Mark
Farigiraf. So, when you first come into
the raid against the seven-star
Farigiraf, there is going to be no turn
zero. So, we're going in straight into
the raid. Now, the shield doesn't go up
until about 90% of its HP or timer
remaining. So, we're going to take
advantage of that fact and start off our
raid with using Leer. Now, this is going
to reduce the defense on this Farigiraf
by minus one every time you use it. But
as soon as that shield goes up, we're
not going to be able to use Lea till
that shield is broken. But, these
defense drops will stick until around
60% of the timer remaining on the raid,
so it's not going to nullify those till
around that time, so we can take full
advantage of these drops, which is going
to help us out in this early stage of
the raid at least. So, after that second
Lea, we're then going to lock in with a
struggle bug because on that 90% when
the shield goes up, it will follow that
up with a nasty plot, and that's going
to boost its special attack by two
stages, so we want to try and mitigate
that and just neutralize those boost as
best as possible, which struggle bug is
going to help us to do so. After that
second one, I don't know if we're going
to have time for the second one here cuz
the shield might go up before we can
lock in with that one, which it looks
like it's going to do, and then it will
fire off that nasty plot as soon as that
shield is set up. So, it's a pretty big
shield in comparison to some of the more
recent seven-star raids, but it is going
to be sitting on plus one special attack
now, so we need to lock in with another
struggle bug just to remove that boost,
and then after [music] that we'll use
one more struggle bug, so it's going to
be hitting a little less hard uh for the
the following turns until it does
nullify those drops on its side. Uh so,
there's another thunderbolt, and one
thing to watch out for is obviously
critical hits as well as the fact that
it will um
>> [music]
>> potentially paralyze you as well by just
firing off constant uh thunderbolts
throughout this raid, which can be
annoying. So, if you do get paralyzed,
it's worth going for a heal chip just to
get rid of that paralysis cuz you can
waste a lot of turns being fully
paralyzed in these raids, which is not
ideal. So, now we've got that second
that third struggle bug off, we can
crystallize. I would recommend going for
that as soon as possible and lock in
with an iron head here because we don't
want to start setting up the sword
stances just yet because on 70% of the
timer remaining, it will nullify [music]
stat boosts on our side of the field, so
we don't want to essentially waste turns
at this stage of the raid. We want to
try and get ourselves into a better,
healthier position. Not going to be
doing that much damage, but those
defense drops that we the set up at the
start of the raid are going to help out
a bunch now. We're going to be getting a
little bit more damage than we would
have otherwise, [music] and more
importantly getting health back on our
HP bar, which is going to be the big
thing for helping us out to set up those
sword stances as we get a little bit
deeper into this raid. So, we're just
waiting for that notification now. Until
that notification pops up, I would just
recommend firing off as many Iron Heads
as possible. We don't want to waste time
going for sword stances before that
notification pops up because it's only
going to nullify our stat drops once in
[music] this raid. So, we want to wait
until it does that and then set those
boosts up and get ourselves to plus six
on our side of the field. So, there it
is, nullifying stats [music] and
abilities on our side, and now we can
start setting up those sword stances.
Remember, it is still minus one in its
special attack after that third struggle
bug that we used. So, it isn't going to
be hitting as hard as we get a little
bit deeper, but if you get
a little bit lower on health than you're
comfortable with, just lock in with an
Iron Head. That will get you [music] a
little bit healthier to lock in that
third and final sword stance, but we
should be all right locking three in
consecutively here as long as we don't
get paralyzed or take a critical hit in
the process, which can be one thing that
can scupper the raid. If you do see
that, then I would just recommend
restarting the raid overall. So, it does
nullify those
stat drops on its side. So, remember, it
was minus one. It isn't going to be
minus one now. So, it's going to be
hitting a little bit harder. Just bear
that in mind. Um, but we do manage to
just about take that. Now, we're in a
position where we're plus six in our
attack stat. We can start firing off
these Iron Heads now. It's still not
going to be doing a huge amount of
damage, but I'd say three of these will
be enough to break that shield, and once
that shield's [music] gone, we're going
to be able to start using Leer once
again to reduce that defense cuz it's
only going to nullify stats on its side
one more time in this raid and that is
going to be when it hits [music] 30% of
its HP remaining. So, we can then set up
another two layers once the shield's
broke and then iron head our way to
victory.
At the point where it's 30%, you should
be in a good spot where you are able to
kill the raid without having to set up
any more layers. So, with the
thunderbolt coming out, [music]
but you can see we're in a healthy
position. This isn't going to be the
fastest way to run through this raid,
but it is going to be a consistent way
to get through it. It has got the
Ferrothorn a good amount of coverage
which makes a lot of other builds pretty
awkward to bring into this one, but
Scizor very good against [music] most
things that are going to be fired out
against it and now you can see the
shield is broke. We can use two layers
or three layers if you want and get
ourselves in a position where we are
going to be closer to closing this raid
up. It is going to use a trick room as
well once that shield is broken. So,
flipping the dimensions, everything slow
will go first and then everything fast
will go last, but doesn't really always
come into play in these raids either.
So, going to as soon as that shield is
broke, going to set up another two
layers and then we're going to be good
to really start getting through this
raid a little bit quicker now. So,
one more layer and it is minus two
defense.
And if you feel like the Ferrothorn is
hitting a little bit harder than you're
comfortable with, just go for a struggle
bug again
and you'll be fine because it is going
to hit a little bit less
with that minus one special attack than
it would be on just neutral like it is
doing now and any critical hits can make
things a little bit awkward, but
hopefully the RNG is kind to you
throughout the raid. So, with the
thunderbolt coming out, with the iron
head, it is minus two defense now. So,
we're plus six in attack and you can see
the difference that makes. So, it will
nullify stats on its side of the field
one more time now
and there we go. So, isn't minus two
defense anymore, but two more iron heads
from this raid should be enough to close
this one up. As it does fire off,
finally a twin beam, but not very
effective against the steel Tera type
thing, and we can lock in with these
Iron Heads. And if you do have Arboliva,
I think one partnering Pokémon that does
help out through the trade is definitely
Arboliva with just that residual healing
that you're going to get every turn with
the Grassy Terrain in effect. Uh very
close there to picking it up. But of
course, uh I'd love to hear what
Pokéball you're planning on getting your
Ferrographein. I think a Level Ball
feels pretty good uh for this one, but
I'm I'm really interested to know what
ball you are planning to get your Mighty
Smart Ferrographein while this event is
running of course over the next week. Uh
like I said, [music] there we go with
that final Iron Head, and hopefully RNG
is kind to you. Don't get too many
paralysis, there's no critical hits, and
it goes as smoothly as it pretty much
has done in this raid for us as long as
you just follow what we did in this raid
not to waste turns throughout. And uh
like I said, I think a Level Ball is
probably, if you've got one, there we
go, a pretty close match, and that's
what I'm going for. So, [music] let me
know in the comments down below what
you're picking yours up in, but I think
the Level Ball is a very close match.
And of course, you're going to get those
high-cost items as well, Ability
Capsules, Ability Patches, uh Herba
Mysticas well, and Level Up Candy's and
all those good things that you get with
seven-star raid events. If you found the
build in today's video helpful, please

Hope you enjoy the events over the next
week, and we'll see you in another video
