The Aniimo Energy System & Its Limitations Explained (DONT WASTE THESE) Aniimo Primegy Guide

Video summary

The Aniimo game introduces an energy system known as Prim, which serves as the primary resource required for specific in-game activities, most notably capturing Alpha animals. Contrary to some online claims suggesting the absence of such a system, this resource is indeed present and functions similarly to energy mechanics found in other titles like Where Winds Meet. The host explains that while the system does not hinder players during the early stages of the game, it becomes increasingly relevant as players progress toward the endgame. At that stage, the demand for resources intensifies due to the need for massive amounts of evolution stones and perfect forms, making Prim a potential bottleneck if not managed correctly. Players can recover one unit of Prim every six minutes, with a daily cap of 300 units, which is sufficient to capture ten Alpha bosses and yield up to twenty evolution stones per day. If players find themselves short on this resource, they can spend Glimmer, the game's premium currency, to instantly restore 60 Prim through a specific menu option. The host notes that while it is possible to exceed the daily limit by purchasing additional energy, doing so requires caution to avoid overspending or wasting resources. This mechanic ensures that exploration and capturing are balanced, preventing over-exploration from harming the game's ecosystem, although the primary concern for players remains securing enough stones to evolve their creatures efficiently. One of the main frustrations highlighted regarding this system is its obscure location within the game menus. The host spent considerable time searching through various tabs before discovering that Prim information and management options are located specifically within the Institute Guide under the Animal Challenge tab. Unlike other resources like Glimmer or credits, which are displayed prominently in the top corners of the screen, Prim is not easily visible in standard inventory screens or claim menus. This lack of clear visibility can confuse new players who might mistakenly believe no energy system exists at all, leading to unnecessary frustration when they encounter the resource limit during an Alpha capture attempt. Ultimately, the video concludes that the Prim energy system is not a negative feature but rather a standard game mechanic designed to manage pacing and resource allocation. While it will eventually limit player progress in the endgame by restricting the number of Alphas that can be captured daily, this limitation is manageable through natural regeneration and optional purchases with Glimmer. The host emphasizes that players are generally earning more resources than they spend during the early and mid-game phases, so there is no need for excessive worry. By understanding where to find the resource and how to replenish it wisely, players can avoid wasting valuable materials and continue building their strongest Aniimo without feeling unfairly restricted by the game's design.

Okay, so over the past few days, actually prior to release of Animal, I've heard well I've actually had countless questions about the NG system in this game. You may have seen videos where people are saying there isn't one. You're not limited in anything you do here. I can indeed tell you that's not actually true. You can be limited and especially as you play this game and the further and further you go in this game, you will indeed find yourself strapped for a certain resource which will definitely hold you back. That resource is called prim. I stumbled upon it accidentally capturing an alpha pal. And I saw a small little thing saying um 30 of this resource will be used in capturing this alpha. I knew this was the energy source in the game. But trying to find it, trying to find details on it throughout these menus was pretty hard to do. But today I will explain everything you need to know. So let's go. How's it going guys? My name is DJ. If you do enjoy the video, leaving a like really helps out. And if you like what you see and want to see more, be sure to subscribe. Okay, so in this game there is a source called Prim. Now, I will say this isn't anywhere near as limiting as what I've experienced in the past. But what I will also say is this is very very early game for me and many many many new players. As we do progress towards that end game and start leveling up and evolving all our animo and getting required resources, this will start to hold you back. It really will. I spotted this straight away after capturing an alpha animal and I just knew although I hadn't seen this resource anywhere else. I probably had but just because so many menus and so many things to claim and things of that nature. I didn't clock what this was until again I caught the alpha animal and then I went on a hunt to find out where this resource was. So I went through my inventory. I went through every tab and I couldn't see anything of this resource. The ones in the top corner we have glimmer and we have that those credits. Nothing about it there. I went through every single tab guys here. And then I come to institute guide. Now, there's probably more places you can find this, but I couldn't. I mean, let me know down below in the comment section is a quicker way to find about this, but institute guide daily activity. You can see right here, guys. Things that have claimed, things that are in progress, things to go to, etc., etc. Nothing of it here. I'm going to click to more challenge. This is where I saw the actual resource. This one tab. There's probably other tabs you can find it, but not me. So, top right corner here, guys, you can see it says Primag consumed in activities, recovers one every 6 minutes up to 300, can be replenished with Primag batteries. The Omni Glove is equipped with an energy monitoring system that rations its energy use during certain activities, helping prevent over exploration from harming idols. ecosystem. So yeah, guys, for those that said, you may have seen people say that it isn't in the game. There isn't an energy system in this game. There is. Does that mean it's a bad thing? Absolutely not. Um, I loved Where Winds Meet that had a engine system in that game. It didn't hold me back at all. I mean, yes, towards the end game, which I feel will be the same with Animal. Um, when I got to the end game, I was finding myself play the game less and less, but there's way more things to do in animal than there was uh in where wins me, especially when you get towards that end game. But even still, the engine system is indeed here. So, what's it used for? Now, for me, I've only seen it being used in regards to capturing alphas. Um, now the first time you fight an alpha and take it out, you get its rewards. And the main thing here are probably the stones that are used to evolve. But there's other things here guys as well like these stamps. Um coins ain't or the crates ain't massive and neither is the XP. But the stones are used to evolve certain animal. And every one of these alphas will indeed have these stones attached to them. Now, when it comes to the end game, you trying to build the very best animal and you're evolving tons and tons and tons, trying to get perfect forms and things of that nature, you're going to need a lot of these stones. The thing is, as I said, the first time you take out an alpha, you get a certain bunch of these stones are like six or so there after guys. Every time you fight this boss, cuz these alphas respawn, you have to use energy or this primogy to catch that alpha. And it takes 30 for the early ones. It takes 30. I'm not sure about endgame ones because I've not long found this menu and I haven't even progressed so far on this new fresh play through. So yeah. So how do you get more of it? Well, if you click the plus sign, you can see can actually guys spend glimmer to restore 60 prim. You are limited daily and how you can do this. But to be honest, that's not a bad thing. And glimmer you get quite a lot of playing the game and doing challenges as well. So that's not a bad thing whatsoever. But I will say end game, same with every game I've experienced in regards to an energy system, it will start to get limiting. I just know this for an absolute fact. Can you up that that limit of 300? You probably can later on. I do not know. Cannot confirm or deny that. But 300 is capturing 10 alpha bosses, which is giving you a max 20 20 of these stones. So that's 20 evolutions probably per day. You could probably do more than this to be honest because it, like I said, every 6 minutes you'll get one, but one every 6 minutes isn't a massive amount. Yes, you can replay these six times a day by using your glimmer and other forms. So it's not a major deal, but I just wanted to explain this to many many people who didn't feel this sort of system was in the game. I wouldn't say you've been lied to. I haven't seen a dev say or any dev say that this isn't a part of the game. I have seen a couple of YouTubers post saying there's no energy system. It isn't that gotcha type game. Many people are saying it is, which I actually don't believe it is myself. It's definitely not like um [music] that Genchin Impact, which I absolutely hated, by the way. Um it's not like other gotcha games I haven't even played. And to be honest, as I've said, I don't feel this is that limiting. But when it comes to again finding the currency, that was the only biggie for me. I don't know why it's only in this one menu. Um, there's probably other menus you can get it from, but me looking here, guys, I can't see any other menu where this is indeed um, even discussed or spoken about. Many of the enemy uh, many of the menus, sorry, that you claim things from, not here. It isn't even the shop to purchase, which to be honest isn't a surprise to me because that would seem a little scummy. Um, but I'm pretty sure you can purchase said resources from the shop to maybe help in replening these if you do run out of glimmer and things of that nature. Uh, but yet again, I've gone through every single menu here and the only one I can find this where even references this um, prim is indeed within the institute guide second tab and within the animal challenge. Um, so yeah guys, I just wanted to bring you guys um the truth about prim or the energy system in this game. Is it a bad thing? I don't think it's a bad thing to be honest. Um, will it limit you eventually? Yes, it will. Will it limit you early game? Absolutely not. Uh, there's no two ways about it. You'll be earning more than you're actually spending. But what I will say is as well, guys, when it comes to replanning your said primary, just be careful in how you do this. You don't want to be wasting. You don't want to be overspending. You don't want to be going over that cap. Not unless you absolutely have to, which I can see is probably easy to do with how you playing these things. So yeah, but there we have it guys with the engine system and everything you need to know within the game. Guys, if you enjoyed the video, leave a like. Really helps out. If you like what you see, want to see more, be sure to subscribe. And hopefully, guys, I will see you on that next one.
