The #1 Drupal AI Demo, Development, and Learning Platform - DrupalForge

Watch on YouTube

Video summary

The video introduces DrupalForge as a premier platform designed to facilitate AI learning, development, and deployment specifically for the Drupal ecosystem. The speaker emphasizes that rather than building entirely new sites with AI, the primary benefit lies in enhancing existing Drupal installations by integrating advanced artificial intelligence functionalities. This integration allows organizations to automate content creation, improve search capabilities through natural language queries, moderate user-generated content effectively, and ensure compliance with various regulations such as HIPAA or Section 508. By leveraging these tools, websites can evolve from static information repositories into interactive applications that actively assist users, thereby increasing efficiency and productivity while maintaining the integrity of current digital infrastructure. To make learning accessible to everyone, DrupalForge provides a marketplace of open-source templates developed by community contributors like QED42 and the core AI team. These templates cover essential use cases including content generation, moderation, accessibility auditing via OCR, SEO optimization (specifically Answer Engine Optimization or AEO), and document processing. The platform addresses common hurdles such as API key management costs by providing pre-configured environments where keys are managed centrally, allowing users to experiment without financial risk. Furthermore, the speaker highlights that while many AI projects fail to yield an immediate return on investment during their experimental phase, DrupalForge encourages a "crawl before you walk" approach, giving developers permission to break and rebuild templates in the cloud instantly with minimal downtime or setup friction. A standout feature of the platform is its browser-based development environment powered by VS Code, which runs entirely in the cloud without requiring local installations. This allows users to access full root-level permissions, run Composer commands, execute Drush scripts, and manipulate files as if working on a local machine, all while avoiding security risks associated with installing software directly onto personal devices. Users can spin up new instances in under five seconds, pause running applications when time limits are reached, or resume them later without losing progress. Additionally, the platform integrates with Dev Panel for enterprise users who wish to manage multiple sites across their own cloud providers like AWS or Azure, offering features such as automated backups, log monitoring, and custom domain configuration within a unified dashboard. The presentation concludes by showcasing specific templates that demonstrate real-world applications of AI in Drupal, including an Experience Builder module for drag-and-drop page creation with AI assistance, an Automator tool for parsing uploaded PDFs to extract text and images automatically, and Web Scrapers powered by AI to aggregate content from external sources. The speaker also details how Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) enables users to upload databases or document directories so that the chatbot can retrieve accurate answers based on specific internal data rather than general knowledge. Ultimately, DrupalForge serves as a safe sandbox for developers and agencies to learn by doing, deconstructing existing solutions, and contributing their own innovations back to the open-source community, effectively lowering the barrier to entry for implementing sophisticated AI strategies within government, healthcare, and higher education sectors.

So, we uh we talked about this yesterday. Um Oh, well, that's me. Um I changed the title a little bit. So, this is 10 ways to learn AI on Drupal. Okay. So, so I I don't remember what the actual title was, but this is this is the better title. Um how many people are learning AI? How many How many people actually have leaked AI on Drupal? They you you know AI on Drupal? Nobody. Okay. How many people are learning it right now actively? Okay. How many people want to learn it? Okay. Don't be shy. Okay. Cool. All right. All right. Cool. So, this is this is we're going to talk about Very good. Okay. That was great. Good participation. Thank you very much. This is we're going to talk about how you learn AI in Drupal. Now, now first of all, what is the benefit of learning AI in Drupal? Like I mean you you can do chat, right? You can do chat, that's AI or you can do MCP. You can go out to lovable or something. You can try and build an app on lovable, which is fine, right? Um or you can go to replet or something like that. You can try and build an app on there. Uh what what is the benefit of building apps in Drupal using AI? This is very this is going to be very interactive. So if you're going to be quiet then you're in for a surprise. So >> uh things like first drafts for content, right? So editorial stuff working on put out a verse draft based on information or formatting or something else like that. your internal house style for instance useful >> right >> um the other side that I seeing a lot of is using AI and AI search particular to figure out bad content because um a lot of times and I for a long time there's a lot of redundant content like somebody decided to cut past something 20 years ago and never updated it and but that answer is still out there and so it's very hard to find that stuff as humans looking for it but when you start saying here's the top 10 questions for HR and one of those questions shows a completely wrong answer from 10 years ago the AI verif that that is those are very big points okay there there is one very important thing um that that to me is is a big reason for using AI in Drupal okay I I bet you anything you guys all have Drupal websites, right? >> No, you don't. >> You will. >> We'll we'll take care of that. Um, so, so, uh, if you already have a site in Drupal, you're not going to go get another site in AI. You're not going to build something else in AI and replace your current site. Okay? What you want to do is you want to enhance your current site with AI functionality and your site will be much better. You'll be able to maintain it faster. You'll be able to you'll be able to automate things. You'll be able to do things automatically on your site. it'll be much more efficient for your users to use your site. Okay? Uh and your site will be more productive. It it'll actually do stuff for your users, right? So, so right now, you know, most sites are grocery sites. This is going to be more interactive, right? So, it takes it to that next level. So, so that's that's a good reason to to integrate AI into your Drupal site, right? That that is one of the biggest reasons. You already have a site, right? Let's let's make it work. So, that's me. That's my LinkedIn QR code if anybody wants it. It's going away soon. You can find me. Um, it's s at dev panel. That's my it's my for-profit company. Drupal Forge, GVC CMS, there are other things. Those are under my nonprofit company. So, I have a couple of companies. And then Drupal Forge is a project. GVC CMS you might have heard of is a project. We're starting a higher CMS, which is CMS for higher ed. Um, I've noticed this trend. I I it it bothered me a lot where government agencies, even higher ed, healthcare, these these industries, these verticals, they would people in these verticals, they would start projects from scratch all the time from with different agencies. And and what what you could do is you could have you could have you could easily have a template that has all the things built in. Uh compliance built in um uh HIPPA FURPA um section 508, USWDS, all the different things built into it so that there's a good starting point for for these projects and then you can theme it however you want. agency can theme it, you know, uh government agency can theme it, digital agency can theme it, you can actually build on it. So, those are the things we're doing under our nonprofit is building out those projects. Uh Drupal Forge is one of those projects. Uh Govc CMS is coming up is one of those projects. Um and then uh hire CMS, help CMS, all those things we're building out as templates for the industry for our community to use. Um all set up under nonprofit, all open source and and I'm not a developer. So I just start say I just start So there's other people that actually maintain it. There's a whole team of people that maintain it. So I it's all their work. So, but that's the company behind it and that's the company that supports the nonprofit, right? Um, so far there's other contributors in there, too. So, okay. What's the easiest and best way to learn something new? >> Try it. Okay. And and baby steps. Yeah. Baby steps. You got to you got to crawl before you can walk and you got to walk before you can run. Yeah. Uh somebody's got to teach you, right? Uh my my daughter, we had to she she would crawl. My neighbor came over like we were like, "Okay, we'll just wait for her to walk." My neighbor came over. He he would she would crawl kind of funny ways. And my neighbor came over and I still remember this. He knelt down on his knees and hands and right next to her and he showed her how to crawl properly and she learned it right like that. I I didn't even think about it. >> You have to show her, right? She was like months. She wasn't even a hero. So So you you just have to show you just have to do little things like that, right? You're trying to learn a dish, right? You you try it, you like it, you you deconstruct it. Somebody shows it to you, but this is how you do it. I used to be in auto shop. I want to fix I still I can still fix cars. Not the new cars, the old cars, right? So, I can still fix the old cars, but the way I learned it is somebody taught me. They Here's a car, broken down car. This is how you take it apart. This is how you put it together. Right? It wasn't difficult to for them to show it to me because they knew. Okay. So, so what we've done, right, working with the community, I I take zero credit. Okay. What we've done working with the community, the Drupal core AI team works on the Drupal Forge platform. All the development is done on the Drupal Forge platform. Okay. They've given you guys templates. There's a firm in India, QED42. Just last week, they they contributed 10 AI templates with videos and documentation. You can take it apart. They show you how it works. You can take these things apart and you can you can look at it. And if you like it, right, you can do the same at your work, right? You can actually take that. You have all the source code. You have access to Google. You have shell access. You have access to the source code. Copy it. Download it to whatever you want. You can modify it on Google Forge. You can break it a thousand times, right? And and nobody cares. You're not even downloading it. You're doing it all on the cloud. It starts up in 5 seconds. Okay? If you're ruining it, screw it. Start up a new one. Right? So, so, so we're going to show we're going to talk about 10 of these templates. I think I have more than 10, but we'll talk about we'll talk about I think I have 13 maybe. We'll talk about these templates. We we'll walk through these templates, right? And then and then we'll see we'll see how so it's the best way to learn to me at least. Yeah. So I talk about what you guys want to learn, but this is what we've seen is essentially kind of like a breakdown of what people are kind of interested in. Um so the first 60% of folks are interested in like general AI functionality of integrating data into the site somehow somewhere. uh content something to do with content generation, moderation, search and translations. Okay, those are big. Content moderation is is huge too. Uh and moderation can even be things like somebody's trying to upload stuff to your site, you have to check it to see if it's like meets all your standards, right? Nobody's trying to do stuff that's not kosher. So compliance, that's the next bucket. compliance monitoring, detecting certain things, uh, W CAG uh, or WEAg as some people say, HIPPA, PCI compliance, alerting and logging or scanning of logs, right? And doing anomaly detection, those things, that's the 30% of the next batch of folks do that. And then the 10% which I think is going to get more and more and more, this is SEO. And the new term for SEO is AEO. I mean any how how many people have heard that? Okay. So a few people have heard that. Okay. AEO. What does AO stand for? >> Answer optimization. >> Answer engine optimization. Very good. So it was as of a few weeks ago it was new to me too. It's called AEO and I was like the hell is they just keep coming up with TLAs. Do you know what TLA stands for? >> We got a lot of those right. >> What is it? a threeletter acronym. >> TA actually stands for threeletter acronym. >> Uh so, so AO is another TLA and I was like whatever. So it actually stands for answer engine optimization. Okay, which actually makes sense. So, and there are ways to do that and that's becoming more and more popular because more and more people are going to chat GPT, Perplexity, uh, Claude and all these answer engines to find answers instead of have conversations and find links instead of going to Google and doing keyword search, right? Um, so, so SEO accessibility. Okay. So accessibility is here some here's some of it but there this is like the edge cases of accessibility uh building sites auditing OCR. Okay, this is another case. We actually have an example. We have a template where you where you scan a PDF. You can upload a PDF. Turns it into a node. Scans out the text, scans up the pictures, turns it into a note, attaches the the PDF uh to the node and and off you go and indexes it. So you can search it and you can have a conversation with a PDF and that right. So OCR and then document processing or document sorry documentation of the code. Right? So so those are those are some popular categories that we've seen people using it using AI for. Um this just a quick brief survey very brief. What are you using? What are you building? What's worked? What hasn't? And why not? Just I just want a I just want a couple stories. So who wants to participate? There's a prize. There's thousand points. Anybody? Right. [Music] I'll come back to it. Think about it. All right. I'll come back to this. >> I've got one on this which is >> yes price of entry. Right. which is you're building this interface to these engines and most of them have a cost and so when you're experimenting especially in higher ed other places you might not have a budget for actually using the tools on the back. So that's that becomes a hurdle basically to actually >> that's a very good point. There was a recent study done about a month and a month month and a half ago uh from MIT. I don't know if you guys you tell me how many of you have heard of this. It said 85% of AI projects do not yield an ROI return on investment. How many people had heard this study? Okay. So this this is an actual study. But there are good reasons for it, right? Because what's happened today, all of you guys are here. First thing you're going to do is you're going to start a project and you're going to experiment with it. Is the experimentation going to yield an ROI? No. Right. And it's okay to crawl and it's okay to break things. That's why we give you templates. Go mess with them. Go spend time with them. Sorry, >> that's Do does anyone know what sound that is? That tune the ringer thing that is >> Kim Possible. >> If anybody knows, if anybody remembers that I'm dating myself like I'm like, you know, >> she was awesome. >> I I'm awesome. >> And Ron, what? What? And Ron who? wrong possible. >> Ron Possible. Was it wrong possible? I'm Ron Possible. All right. So, um, so that that was the I I lost my train of thought. So, so that is the the you know, when you're starting off. I mean, I I don't think that study uh was wrong and but I don't think it's there's anything wrong with having today nowadays. I don't think we're we're in the nent initial steps of learning AI and how to implement it in our organizations. I think it's okay. Right. So, okay. Drupal Forge. How many people have know about it? Okay. Handful. All right. Good. How many people have used it? All right. Fewer. Okay. I'll give you a quick demo. God, it's it's my sister. She She comes through on my do not disturb mode. Oh. Oh. Right. Like you want to have your sister and your, you know, on your do not disturb mode coming to your older sister. >> It feels like it sometimes. >> She behaves like my older sister. >> To be fair, you did send her a picture. Yeah, >> you know, let me let me do that. >> I'm going to say stop texting me next hour. Just Um, okay. Drupal Forge. This is what it looks like. And and I am at drupalforge.org. This is a nonprofit. We own the domain drupalforge.com, but this runs under drupalforge.org. It is a nonprofit. It's an open-source project. It's like a marketplace of templates. You can set up your own in your own company if you want to. If you have an agency, you can set up a marketplace of your own templates for your own agency as well. All for free. Okay. So, so how many people have heard of freely give? Okay. Freely give is the Drupal core AI team. It's an agency out of UK that builds the all the Drupal core AI templates, right? They have they work on Drupal force. They do all the development and they have a page on Drupal Forge. That is their page and their templates are there. If you have an agency, you can have any time now. You can have your if this is going to be the performance, then we're going to be in trouble. >> Okay. >> Yeah, somebody's downloading movies or something. Okay, I'm going to switch to my iPhone. Okay. Um, I'm going to go to slash AI instead. Let's see if No, not AU slash AI. Okay, so these are all the AI templates. Okay, so we're going to cover these AI templates here. If you go to the homepage, you might not see not AU. We go to the homepage, there's a lot of other templates, but not all the AI templates are there yet. They haven't been published. The AI templates were for today. We're going to vet them and then we're going to release them to the homepage. But there's automated testing kit from Andre. He's got a table outside. Um there's a local gov from UK. There's the Drupal canvas uh testing team is using this. Uh civic uh theme from the from Australia government uses this. Uh headless headless uh Drupal is here. Uh Civic CRM, Open Social, Drupal Gov, all kinds of stuff. YMCA theme, Midcap theme, Drupal helps. I don't know if anybody knows Rod Martin. Rod Martin teaches all his classes on this platform. So, and he has taught he has taught 50,000 Drupalers, right? So, now he's moved over and teaching everything on Drupal Forge and he is for full disclosure, he is the chairman of the board for our nonprofit. So, um, and then Drupal AI template. This is an AI generated picture of me. My wife says it looks nothing like me. I think it makes me look good. So, um, so, so, and this is my interview of Marcus who wrote this template. This is their base template from the AI team that that actually writes their stuff and then they take this template, they create something new and then they make another template out of it. Then they take this template, they create something new and they make another template. Okay, so I'm going to show you a quick demo of this and we're going to launch this. We're going to say express launch. Okay, so I clicked on express launch. Let's see how long it takes. When the server is impacted, it takes a long time. Sometimes it takes minutes. Okay. But within 5 seconds or less than 5 seconds, you can get a Drupal instance going. So much faster than DDEV or much faster than other places in setting up a Drupal site. I click on the URL, gives me a Drupal site. Username and password are right here. So I can copy that and it's both admin and admin. And this is the AI template. Okay, this is Drupal CMS with AI built into it. I'm going to say login. This is a quick demo of what you can do with all the templates that we're going to talk about. [Music] Going to log in. And when you log in, notice that notice that this is Drupal CMS, but notice that you have a chatbot here. And we automatically inject a key AI key in here for you to use. So you don't have to go get your AI key. You don't have to set up AI. You don't have to set up your key. It's a lot of head. It's a headache to do that. Yeah. It's a pain in the ass to do it. We want you to have a clean experience. So, the nonprofit picks up the cost of the key and it gives you the experience that you want to teach you. So, you can play with it. You can experience it. The key is only worth a dollar. We have a key slicer in the back end that slices our big our main key into dollar keys. Each container gets $1 key, but that's enough for you to build a Twitter clone. in in uh in uh Drupal. Okay. So, I'm going to ask it. I'm going to say what is Drupal? And and you get this sometimes. I'm glad this happened here because as soon as you spin up a site, there's DNS issues. It takes a little time to populate DNS at times. Okay. So DNS if you got if you know DNS DNS is the name resolution system in the back back end. So it happens sometimes it says oh something went wrong try again. So there's a retry button. So you keep hitting that retry button till it works and then eventually it will work because the DNS resolution will take place and now you see on the third try the DNS did connect and now you have u it connected with the system on the back end and now you have an answer right so your AI is working out of the box you can go in here for configuration and all the AI stuff is already set up all the modules are already set up for you. You can go in there and reconfigure it 10 20 different ways to experiment with it. Okay. So, a lot of the templates that I'm going to show you that we'll look at are this is this template set up different ways. Okay. So, the QED folks took this template and they set it up in different ways. Okay. So, so what you will see is you can go in there and they make videos for you. So, you can actually go and see the video and they you'll see how they configured it and what you can do with it. But you can actually start with this template and you can start breaking it down. All right. So, this is the this is the Drupal CMS AI demo template. And when you go to drupalforge.org, this is the first template that's there. Okay? and you go in it and and I left the page. I come back and the template is and the login information is still there. Okay, the login I I've gotten this template for an hour. After this hour, it goes away. It gets deleted. If I want more time, I click on this icon and gives me another extra hour. Okay. If I want more time, I click on this and it says, "Hey, hey, hey, you got to log in." Okay, because we're getting a lot of people abusing the system. So, so I log in, I register, and you can do single sign on. So, I'm going to single sign on here. And once I log in, it automatically gives me an additional hour, right? And if I go under my apps now, now I've logged in. Okay. If I go under my apps, it shows me that this app is running. And this is the app that I started yesterday and it's paused because now when this time runs out, it does not get deleted. It just gets paused. You can have as many applications as you want. They'll just stay paused here for up to 30 days and you can resume them at any time. So, so, so paused applications can stay there. You just go to the workspace. It says go to workspace and you can go to the workspace. There's a resume button. Just click resume and it resumes the app. But after 30 days, it gets deleted. Right? So, there's no way to extend it right now. You can download it. You can use it on DDev and stuff like that. Um, we're working on a way for you to extend it more. Maybe we'll charge you. Right now, there's no way. So, um, there's this other thing you can do is is you can say turn on the cloud dev environment. And how many people have used VS Code in here? Okay, good. Perfect. So VS code is an IDE integrated development environment. It has you can do file transfers, you can do file manipulation, you can do editor file editing and you can do shell. Okay, so you can do composer commands, Drush commands, everything all in one. Usually it's a desktop application, right? So you run it on your Mac or your PC, Linux or whatever. What we've done is we're giving it to you in a browser. Okay? So, you don't even have to install it on your laptop or whatever. You just work everything on the web. So, I'm going to click on this. And there's a password for it. I'm going to copy the password. And I'm going to say submit. And it opens up VS Code in a browser. And this VS Code I say yes I trust it. And this VS Code I start a terminal. So it has a terminal built in. You have root access. You have full root access. So you can do whatever you want. You can install npm if you want. You can install NodeJS if you want. You can install any module that you want. You have full access as if you're running this on your local desktop. Okay. And it has How many people have worked with composer? Okay. Oh, perfect. Okay. So, composer is pre-installed. So, you don't have to install it. Okay. Out of the box. And then if you worked with Drupal, you worked with Drush. So, Drush is pre-installed. Yeah. So out of those those things are pre-installed. And my favorite demo I I have to tell you I'm not a developer. So this is what my developers showed me. They're like this is going to work. You can do this. So I'm going to show you what I can do. Okay? This is my development skills. I can go into index.php and I'm going to put an interrupt in there. Okay. I'm going to put PHP info and then die. This interrupts Drupal from loading. So I haven't saved it. I have not committed this. Okay, I just put this in a file. I go over here and I reload this and I see PHP info. This is just like working in your local dev environment, but you're working in the cloud all in the browser. So you can experiment all you want on the web without downloading anything, without breaking anything in your laptop. You can break all you want on the cloud. Okay, go break it. And if it breaks, start up another one. It takes 5 seconds. Okay, let this one delete. Let it pause. It'll get deleted automatically. Don't worry about it. Okay. So now if I go back, I can go to this and this. Let me pause these two or let me I'm going to comment these two lines out. Once I comment it out, I come back over here. I reload this and Drupal is back. Okay. So easy as that. And so you have a full dev environment. And what I didn't show you is once you've logged in, there is this other link that comes up. It says cloud dev environment. You come over there. This goes to dev panel. That's my Is anybody heard of dev panel? Nobody's heard of dev panel. Okay. Oh, a few people have. Okay, good. Okay. Dev panel is anybody heard of canon. So dev panel is a dashboard like Pantheon or like Aquia but we don't do hosting. Okay. Our customers bring their own AWS account or their own Azure account or their Digital Ocean account and they connect it to the dashboard and we and they use our dashboard to manage all their websites in their own accounts in their own cloud provider. They pay their own bills and it's much cheaper but we don't do hosting and uh you know so that's dev panel. It's very highly optimized. Um, but that's this is the dashboard for dev panel. This is where your site is running. You can look at activities. You can do backup. You want to download your site. You go to backup. You say I want to do a manual backup. You can say create. It starts up your backup. You can go into activities. You can see your backup is running. Um, you can configure it. You can change your version of PHP. Uh you can add custom domain these things pause um automatically pause. So adding a custom domain you can but you know this is more for uh the people actually enterprise users. Uh you can see your logs here. If you want to go in and see like what's happening you can come in and look at the logs. You can invite other people. So if you're developing a site and you want to invite other developers, you can invite them as as to to work with you to share that that VS Code, right? Uh security, you can turn on HT access, turn it off, and you can export a site. When you export a site, this is what I was talking about. You can export a site. Well, to export a site to your local, you do a backup and you download that here. You can actually connect a VPS from Digital Ocean or from AWS or whatever and then we will send your site to that VPS and then you can do you can use that as a production site or you can export it as a template. You develop something nice on here, you want to share it with the community, you go in, you export it as a template and then you can share it on Drupal Forge with everyone else. Okay? So if you develop something cool, export it, let us know. We will we will check it and we will share it with everyone. Okay. So that's how that's how a lot that's how we get a lot of our templates. All right. So that's that's about Drupal Forge. Now let me go to drupalforge.org/ai and I will give you a quick walk through of the templates that are there. Okay, so this is the base template. This has everything configured in it. And if you go in it, there's a walk through of what the template has and how it works. It's an hour-ong video by the author, by the lead of the Drupal AI team itself. Yeah. So all you have to remember is go to drupalforge.org/ai. Okay, that's all you have to do is go there drupalforge.org/ai and all these things are linked from there. There's a description. All this description was written by chat GPT. Um the next one is is it's called Drupal AI code. Have you guys heard of of Google Gemini CLI? Okay. Have you heard of cloud code? Okay. These are things that you install on your local machine and they code for you. Okay. They will code they will co they will write a Drupal module for you. They will document Drupal module for you. They will do they will do de it will do debugging for you. Right. But I'm always afraid of installing stuff on my on my laptop or on my desktop, right? Because then I don't know how to uninstall it. I don't know what it'll leave behind. I don't know what else it'll do. Oh, and a new thing that was recently found about a month month ago. Somebody wrote a virus instructing these cloud code and Google Gemini CLI to do stuff on your machine and send them information back. Okay. And that virus was just instructions that were sent to the MCP servers. These are called MCP servers that are on your machine. Okay. new type of virus. So, I don't like installing stuff on my machine, right? Like I I I don't like messing with my machine. So, easiest thing, spin this up. We've already installed it for you. For these things, you do have to bring your key because it eats through money pretty fast. So, you have to get a key, but it walks you through it. Okay. There is Is there a video? No, there's no video. But there are instructions in here. Um I do have a video. I will upload that at some point. I'm just uh Okay. And then this is the Drupal module finder AI. Okay. This was written by the AI team. They indexed all of Drupal modules. Okay. They indexed all the Drupal modules. You can go in here and you can ask it, what modules do I need? There's a chat box. What modules do I need to rebuild Twitter? Right? I'll give you a list of modules. I'll say, "Okay, this is this is what I what you need to rebuild Twitter and this is how you configure it because they went through and they indexed all of Drupal's documentation. This template has it. You want to learn how to do that for yourself or for your documentation at your own company, right? You can do it. Take this apart. Okay? Go check it out. Take it apart." Wait. Oh. Uh, there's some screenshots. There is a video for it at a different place. Okay. Uh, XB, this is Experience Builder. So, the XB folks have put this out. Experience builder has anybody knows experience builder? Good. Experience builder is a new thing. You can do page building, drag and drop. Now, it has AI built into it. So, you can actually tell it, I want a page like this. They'll put it together for you. Okay. Right live in front of you. So, the experience builder team, it's still in development. The experience builder team does their testing here. So, it's there. You can, you know, experiment at your own risk, but it's there. Um, but it says in dev. Okay. So, it's in still in development. uh testing agent framework. So testing agent is actually um this is it's it's very impressive. Go watch the video. You can say when I create a site, I want the site my site to be automatically tested for these things on a regular basis. And the testing agent, the AI agent will test your site for certain things on a regular basis internally. uh local gov is is the UK government sites. They use this for uh for doing AI integrating AI into those sites. Uh canvas is again this is the experience builder they have with canvas assist. So QED42 has put this video together for you and this template. Again, you can spin these up in 5 seconds. Oops. Everything okay? >> Um, AI Automator. >> Hey, S. Can we get a question? >> Yes, sir. >> I looked at those videos, but there's no audio. Is that correct? >> Oh, there should be. Really? >> Well, I'm just asking you. >> Oh, no. I I thought there was audio. Let me Which one? Like, let me play this. This demo shot a auto it's >> there's an accent. There's an accent. >> I'll Yeah. Yeah. There >> I tried it on my phone. >> Oh, may maybe I Yeah, I don't know. So, yeah, there there there should be. Sorry. No, no, no, no, no. It's okay. Um, oh, in one of the audios, in one of the videos, the audio was kind of messed up. Like there was like a screeching sound, you know, like something like my daughter would hear and I wouldn't hear, you know, those high-pitched sounds. So, um, I told them they're going to fix it. I don't know where it is with it, but yeah. Okay. So, but these are hot off the press. Okay. This happened like literally three days ago and uh and I I submitted to the staff here. I was like, "Hey, can you change my talks title?" And they changed it last minute cuz I was like, "This is more exciting, you know." So, um, automator, okay, what automator does, does anyone know what automator does? Okay, I'll tell you. automated. When you submit content, it it goes through your content and it does stuff with it. So, it'll parse your content. If some editor submits content, it'll take out the author name. It'll take out the date. It'll update other fields with it. It'll update other pieces, other areas of your website with one piece of content. the thing I was telling you about where somebody uploads a PDF and it extracts the text, it extracts the pictures and it does so it uses AI to do stuff with that content and then it does things on your websites on your website. Okay, so that's when you upload a PDF, it extracts it does stuff on your PDF and then it'll do stuff on your site with that extracted information. So it automates all of that. The other thing you you can automate is is somebody else updates their website, some other blog is updated, the automator can take that other blog entries some other place, get a summary of it, update your website with it. So if you're doing content uh aggregation, it can do that for you. So automator, there's a template for it, there's a video for it, go watch it, go learn from it. Okay. So, automator, web scraper, exactly the thing. It's like the automator, but it goes out there, it'll scrape the web, and it'll bring in content for you. Okay. So, scraping the web with AI. OCR. OCR is that you upload a picture or you upload a PDF, it'll actually analyze it for you and it'll follow your instructions and say, "Upload this, do this, do that with this picture, do that with this PDF." Translations, you upload it in one language, it can translate it into three or four different languages and upload the content, upload your update your website with it. Um, CK Editor CK Editor does a lot of stuff. I am I am not up to speed on what it does. Does anybody in here know what CK editor AI does? >> Will you summarize summarize anything? >> There are some language translation things you can put into there. >> Yeah. So CK editor CK editor is a separate product and it has AI built into it, right? >> It can have >> AI you can enable that right button for the AIS. >> Okay. I I am not an expert on I'm not an expert on any of this but I am not the source to go to for CK editor but CK editor is that editing window that you get and in the editing window as you're typing the text you can click on a button and you can say oh summarize this text and it'll summarize it for you can highlight some stuff and you can say translate it or you can say you know make it make it read like for a 5-year-old or something like that Okay. So, it'll do that for you in the editor itself. But again, watch the video on what the editor can do itself. Okay. So, you've got the editor demo, you've got the SEO, how you can use how you can use AI to improve SEO for your website. Yeah, that's here. And compliance and accessibility. Okay. Oh, there's multiple videos for compliance and access accessibility. So, compliance with accessibility and image descriptions. You upload an image, it automatically looks at the image, it writes a description for it, like the alt text description for that image. Yeah. And content moderation. So content moderation uh page title must contain the word Drupal the image uploaded featured field must include Drupal logo the video to learn how it's been configured. So some things you're like okay I want to make sure that the editor does this and they do this and they do that. So you can set up those type of parameters and the AI checks for it. You don't have to write your own rules. You don't have to hardcode any rules or write a program to do that. just give the instructions say check check to make sure this is done this way. Um the best case of of u content moderation was is actually uh the AI team did it was for the local gov website for the England uh for the UK government is they have content moderation. if you try and upload an inappropriate image because they let people contribute content. So if somebody tries to upload something with inappropriate uh language or inappropriate image, the AI detects it and rejects it right away. Okay, which is really cool. Like I've seen that demo. It's really cool. So, and AI rag. Okay, this is crazy. Okay, rag stands for I I know we did this yesterday. Rag stands for retrieval augment. What? What is it? Retrieval. >> Augmented generation. >> Augmentation. Augment. Augmented generation. >> Augmented generation. Okay. So, thank you. Retrieval. This is like real time looking at retrieval means AI will go retrieve the stuff you give it a database, PDF documents, a directory of files, whatever, right? So, you give it some stuff, it'll go through it. And so, you when you ask it some question, it goes through your content. Then it augments it. It actually tries to answer that and then it augments what it found. It it figures out and it writes text about it and then it generates the content and gives it back to you. Okay. So that's the rag. Sorry 4 minutes. Okay. Got it. Thank you. So so and and then when you do a rag setup there are two ways to use it. Once you do the rag setup you can use it in the search box. So you can have a conver so you can do searches not just keyword search but full uh you know sentence search like you know uh you can you can actually talk to your website and then you can you can also set up the rag back end with the chatbot you have one back end you can integrate it with the search function and you can integrate it with the chatbot right so that's it I'm done those all the templates that are there. Uh, thank you very much. [Applause] >> I had many more slides. Ask me anything. Thank you very much. Here's my contact information. We're all done.
