Video summary

In this video, host Joe conducts a two-box break of the 2025/26 Topps Chrome Black Basketball set on a random Thursday release, utilizing a "Pick Your Team" format where viewers can select their preferred franchise. Before opening the packs, Joe explains the box selection process, which involves rolling dice to determine that boxes four and five will be reserved for Pick Your Team Four, currently available in his shop. He notes that while some teams are inexpensive, there is still a strong possibility of hitting valuable cards tonight, and he briefly mentions the durability of the toner on his camera equipment before diving into the break. The opening packs yield a Dylan Harper rookie card and an orange Noah Syndergaard card, providing a solid start for the session. Joe highlights that this set traditionally features one encased autograph per case, similar to recent years, and reveals that the Chicago Bulls' pick went to J Hawk Sox while the Dylan Harper base card was awarded to Buff82. He also points out that the boxes used for this break are significantly smaller than in previous years of Topps Chrome Black, likely containing only a fraction of the cards found in standard cases from earlier seasons. As the break continues, more notable names emerge, including William McNeely and Coby White, with McNeely's card going to BrianW84 and the Hornets. A purple autograph card numbered 41 out of 75 is pulled for Lachlan Albricht and assigned to J Hawk Sox, while Kon Knippel's rookie card makes its debut in this specific set for a viewer. The excitement builds with Keegan Murray appearing twice, once as a base rookie for Ray and the Grizzlies and again as a jumbo logo rookie for Cody and the Kings, alongside an autograph by Amari Williams that goes to R. Harold Boston. Throughout the video, Joe maintains an engaging tone, encouraging viewers to try their luck with Pick Your Team Four given the potential for hidden gems lurking within the boxes. He mentions having loose pristine baseball cards available for personal requests if anyone is interested in those specific items. The break concludes with a sense of anticipation, as Joe suggests that something big might still be waiting to be found and invites everyone to check out the pinned break in his shop before signing off for the next session.
