TEXANS WANT RAVENS RASHOD BATEMAN?! | WOULD BALTIMORE ACTUALLY TRADE HIM?!
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The video primarily discusses the Houston Texans' potential interest in trading for Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman before the NFL season begins, following Jaden Higgins' injury. The host analyzes reports suggesting the Texans are looking for an established name to fill their void at the receiver position, noting that while Bateman has a great contract and high skill ceiling, he is currently in a unique spot where his potential hasn't fully materialized. The discussion highlights that acquiring Bateman would disrupt the Ravens' offseason plans, but it remains a possibility if Houston offers sufficient compensation, such as a third-round draft pick, given their current desperation for roster upgrades.
Beyond the trade speculation, the host addresses several viewer questions regarding team dynamics and player development. A significant portion of the conversation focuses on the media's double standards between Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, with the host expressing frustration that critics continue to find faults in Lamar even after potential Super Bowl victories, whereas Josh Allen receives more leniency for similar mistakes. The video also covers updates on rookie prospects like Adam Randall, who is seen as a potential impact player due to his versatility on special teams and offense, and discusses the depth of the offensive line under new coordinators Dwayne Ledford and Declan Doyle, emphasizing their importance in preventing injuries and maintaining performance.
The transcript concludes with answers to specific fan inquiries about roster construction and future expectations. The host weighs in on whether rookie tight ends will displace Mark Andrews as a starter, predicting that while it is possible due to the new coaching regime, it is unlikely unless Mark Andrews struggles significantly. Additionally, there is optimism surrounding rookie wide receiver Jacobe Lane, with predictions that he could contribute substantially if he continues his strong performance from training camp and preseason games. The video ends with standard channel promotions and a call to action for viewers to subscribe and engage with the content, reinforcing the community aspect of "Team Keep It Clean."

There's a team trying to take our
beloved former first round pick at wide
receiver away from us before the season
even starts. Let's read this report. So,
the Texans unfortunately lost Jaden
Higgins to a season ending injury. So,
they're trying to fill that void at the
wide receiver position, which makes a
whole lot of sense, but they could
apparently be going after Baltimore
Ravens wide receiver Rashad Baitman.
Let's read this report from Aaron
Wilson. He said, "The Texans have made
exploratory trade calls per League
sources. Among the potential targets,
the New England Patriots wide receiver
Kahan Booty. Okay, cool. Yeah, y'all go
after him. And Baltimore Ravens wide
receiver Rashad
Baitman.
So, wait a minute there. Now, this would
definitely throw a monkey wrench in all
of the Ravens offseason plans because
Rashad Baitman has been looking good
this offseason. Rashad Baitman got a
fresh start this off seasonason. Rashad
Baitman got a clean slate this off
season. So, are y'all trying to make his
slate even cleaner by having him shift
off to a whole another team? Well, the
possibility is real. Let's continue.
Says the Texans are not expected to have
a reunion with former AllPro receiver
and former Baltimore Raven. Most
recently, DeAndre Hopkins, who's now the
assistant receivers's coach at Georgia
Tech. The Texans ideally want a bigger
receiver, should they bring in outside
reinforcements per league sources. So,
it doesn't sound like when they talking
about a bigger receiver, it doesn't
sound like they're talking about size. A
little pause right there. It sounds like
they're talking about name, a household
name. They want somebody who's more
established. And Rashad Baitman,
he is in a weird spot in his career
because as we know, as we've talked
about so much, the potential is there,
the skill set is there. It's just a
matter of bringing it out of him. Now,
could that happen with the Houston
Texans? It's possible. And when you
really think about this, it's like it
doesn't seem too far-fetched that Rashad
Baitman could be traded. He's on a great
contract. He's on an amazing contract
for the Baltimore Ravens. So, if the
Texans were to acquire that contract, in
my opinion, if the Ravens even entertain
this move, if Eric Dcasta even picked up
the phone from Houston Texans GM, then
he got to ask for some good
compensation, right? And I would say,
especially with Rashad Baitman's
contract, maybe a third round, could a
third round pick get it done? a third
round pick and change a a second is I
[snorts] don't think they would get a
second round pick. BUT IF IF YOU COULD,
HEY, maybe they MIGHT JUST DO IT because
the Texans, they a little desperate
right now. And the free agent options,
they not that intriguing. Uh there's not
that much out there. So that could make
them want to pay just a little more. But
I think something realistic would be a
third round pick. But do you think that
the Ravens will entertain this potential
offer from the Houston Texans? Do you
think the Ravens should trade Rashad
Baitman if the Texans come calling? And
if you do, what do you think the Texans
should give up? Let me know down below
in the comments section.
Ravens, whichever route y'all decide to
take, just make the correct decision.
That's all I ask. Anyway, now we at my

So, first question came from my guy
King. He said engraving, huh? What we
talking about? He said, "Hello,
Engraven. I know that you are doing
well. Please give the family and team
keep it clean its love." Hey, appreciate
that very, very much, man. He said,
"Now, I happen to notice that covering
ravens, if you put those two words
together and then you cut off the first
part, you have engraving." Oh. Oh, I
like that. I like that. That's That's
That's cool. I like that, man. I You
know what? I'm gonna start running with
that. I like that a whole lot. Anyway,
he said, um, the and with the ing in
front of the raven. So, my question is,
how did you come up with the name
engraven? This is the only way I can
think of you being able to come up with
that name. Am I very astute or am I
indulging in conspiracy theories? Lol.
No, I I I love that. I actually tell
people that covering Raven. I love I
like that. But no, Mark Ingram is my
cousin. No, he he's he might be, but we
got the same last name and that that was
it. It was just a part of last name and
the Ravens and putting them together.
That's But I I like yours way better. So
maybe I'm going to start telling people
that like, "Oh, how'd you come up with
the name Raven?" Well, it's comes from
covering Ravens and I make V. So, hey,
yours is way cooler and a much cooler
story. He said, "Good day to you, my
friend. Thanks for all you do." Hey,
appreciate you, Guy King. Thank you,
man. This video is sponsored by

tell them that I sent you. Next question
came from my guy Ryan. He said, "Danovi
sneak this code." He say, "You heard Dan
Vloki sneak this Lamar on a segment that
was literally about Josh Allen." Oh, it
ain't it ain't sneaking no more. It's
just straight up dissing Lamar. They be
trying Lamar. you know, this is just
what they do. Especially him, like that
man, he will make every excuse in the
world for any mistake that Josh Allen
makes, which is a lot of them. Um,
[snorts] but when it comes to Lamar, no.
And and Lamar even said it, too. Oh,
Lamar ain't got no excuses, Dan. Yeah,
he let him know a long time ago. Anyway,
uh, he said Lamar wasn't even on the
topic, and yet somehow Dan still found a
way to bring him on to it. He said,
"It's not like Josh only scored 10
points in a playoff game and can't get
by a team that only scored two
touchdowns." Referring to the AFC
Championship game in 2023. Now, I was
going to say I can't wait until Lamar
lights the league on fire and brings
home that Lombardi, but it's not like it
matters because we all know that when it
comes to Lamar criticism, they will
never stop. Never. Never. Never. Lamar
could be sitting there with a Lombardi
trophy in his hand. They could say,
"Hey, this is the Super Bowl MVP right
here."
And there will still be people, uh,
well, he should have won one sooner.
Why? Why' it take him so long to finally
win one? Oh, well ah, this guy, he he's
behind the rest of the guy. He don't got
as many as Patrick Mahomes. This is so
it it would always be something. Anyway,
he said at this point, Lamar really
stays on that man's mind. He said, "I
know it's not a question, but I just
wanted to tell you how the media treats
Lamar versus how they treat Josh Allen."
Oh, you ain't GOT TO TELL ME. I ALREADY
KNOW. WE ALL ALREADY KNOW. That's
Yeah. Yeah. It's ugly out here. He said
uh even when Josh Allen had four
turnovers in the playoffs, he started
throwing the ball behind his back. It
was his O line or he needs more help.
Shaking my head. appreciate everything
that you do. No, it's all good, my
friend. But yeah, this is uh that's
that's Dan Oloski in a nutshell, man.
Like Dan Ovlosski literally came up with
the term um when Josh Allen threw a deep
intercept and I had never heard I don't
think anybody had ever heard this
before. That man said, "Oh, that was a
great decision by Josh. That was a arm
punt." [sighs] I said, "Oh, that was
that was the worst." I think that was
Josh Allen's MVP season. I'm I'm pretty
sure that was it. And [snorts] that's
when we should have known like it was it
was nasty business. Like he was pushing
nasty agendas from from then and even
before then, but certainly that year
2024 when he said arm punt like you
really called this a arm punt like that
that that that was just crazy. But that
that's how it's going to be forever and
ever.
Next question came from my guy Cam. He
said, "Yo, Engraven, we whooped those
birds." I think the defense and O line
and also Keon Martin played his butt
off. He definitely put out a statement
with the sack and his past breakups.
Yeah, Kon Martin been doing his thing,
man. That that man's on the roster. And
they said at the joint practices he was
fighting. So yeah, he he he done made
the roster officially now. He said, "And
[snorts] I feel like I want to see Marlo
play in the preseason. I want to see him
at safety." Certainly this season. I
think that best suits him. What do you
think? I think they they not doing
safety with Marlo yet. He even said it
himself, too. He said, "Oh, no." He
talked about that transition safety, but
he said it ain't happening this year cuz
he's still going to be a corner, which
makes sense. he said. Uh, and as far as
the linebacker, Jay Higgins will likely
be out or excuse me, will likely be
okay, but I do think there are options
out there to make the room even better.
But overall, Ravens play fantastic and
can't wait to see this new Jesse Mentor
defense and Doyle offense. Hope you and
the family are doing good. And tell your
son I said, "Keep balling in football."
Hey, I appreciate that, Cam. I'mma let
him know, man. Oh, next question also
came from my guy Cam. He said, "Hey,
hope the family is healthy and strong."
And my questions I have for you is after
the 24/7 preseason win over the Eagles,
which Ravens, which young Ravens player
do you think has the best chance to go
from preseason standout to a legitimate
impact player during the regular season
and why? I ain't going to say Jacobe
Lane. I feel like that's like so easy.
Um, but I would say Adam Randall. um
just with the more opportunities that he
can get, whether it's on special teams,
whether it eventually comes on offense,
it's going to be tough for it to happen
on offense cuz he got Derrick Henry,
Justice Hill, and we'll see what they do
with Rasha Ali. But I I would say Adam
Randall um because the potential for him
um even it it could start in small
little doses here and there, like
especially say if it's a blowout game
and they like, "All right, Adam Randle,
go do your thing." He could potentially
break off a big run. He could get some
nice passes in. He could get some nice
work in. Um, and then if it's kick
return, he could get in on that, too.
Um, so there's different ways that you
could use him. You can use him in the
run game and in the passing game, too,
since he used to play receiver. So, that
that just opens stuff up for him that
much more. So, I I will say Adam
Randall. Um, but I think that would take
a while. But you said, yeah. Yeah, I
think that would take a while. But if he
does it in a preseason consistently,
like that touchdown run from him was
really nice because it took a second and
third effort for him to get to the end
zone. Uh, so if in the second preseason
game he does really well, then in the
third preseason game he does even
better, then Ravens could look at that
and be like, "Oh, you know what? Okay,
hey, we got something here. You know
what? We gonna use you. We got to roll
for you. We going to find something to
do for you." So, I think it could be
him. Uh, he said, "And also, after what
we saw against the Eagles, do you think
the Ravens have enough offensive line
depth to make a serious Super Bowl run,
or is tackle depth still the biggest
weakness on this roster?"
Um, that's tough to judge because we
obviously want the starters to be
healthy and stay healthy, remain
healthy. Um, but I think we should be in
good shape. Uh, I think so much will be
on Dwayne Leford. Um, so much will be on
uh Declan Doyle. I almost said Todd
Monkey. Woo, get me out of that origin.
[snorts] Um, but no, I love Todd Monkey
though. But I I uh I think so much will
be on them. Uh, Dwayne Leford for the
way that he coaches his offensive line.
Uh, and Declan Doyle for how the play
calling helps the offensive line out.
Hopefully they do well and they could
hold up pass protection. They could do
their thing in run blocking too. Um, but
both of those two go hand in hand so
much because they they make each other's
jobs a whole lot uh easier. So that's
that would be uh my take on that. Um, so
let me see let me see if my guy Camson
any other questions cuz I don't want to
skip. Okay. All right. We all cleared up
now. I appreciate you. Cam observations.
Next question came from my guy Chase. He
said, "Hey Graven, how's it going? Hope
all is good with Flock Nation. Just
wanted to point out some of my preseason
week one observations and see what you
think. think I want to clarify. I only
watch the highlights, not the whole
game. That's okay. He was like, "Ch, my
guy Ch said, I I ain't sitting through
no preseason game. You think I'm crazy
to sit through that?" Yeah, you you
Yeah, you got to be crazy to sit through
a preseason game. But it was fun. It was
fun. But anyway, he said, "Oh, we scored
more in the fourth quarter than the
Eagles did and more in the fourth than
we did in all three quarters
beforehand." Really? I didn't even
realize that. He said, "Our [snorts]
rookie wide outs look good in the action
besides Sarat's fumble." Yeah. And yeah,
besides that, but he even still looked
good even with the fumble. We obviously
wouldn't want him to fumble, but he
looked really, really good. So,
everybody looked good. Um, I don't know
who 34 is, but man, I hope he makes a
team. I like what I saw. Oh, I think
that's Tal Taliva. He I don't think he's
going to make the team, though. Not
because he's bad, but just because of
everything that's like he got four
running backs in front. Four running
backs in front of him. That's like
they're not going to keep five running
backs. Even four is pushing it, but
they'll keep four. But that he ain't
going to make the team. He said, um, I
like what I saw from him. Also, Adam
Randle shows flashes and he breaks that
he breaks tackles easily. He said, "I'm
disappointed in Zion Young off of this
game." From what I saw, he gave up
contain on a few of those late fourth
quarter scrambles. That would have
helped us give a shout out. Oh, I didn't
even notice that. But Zion Young is just
he he's a rookie, so it's going to take
some time. It's his first game, but I I
I honestly didn't notice that if that is
the case. He said, "I didn't see much
about Wenger besides one pancake, but
not seeing much is way better than what
we saw last year from Falafel." Wow.
Y'all be coming up with some names for
Daniel Fle, man. But it's true. If if
offensive lineman is having a quiet
game, great. That's what you want. You
don't want a bunch of highlights or low
lightss on offensive lineman. That's not
never a good thing. He said, "That's all
I have for now. Let me know what you
think and have a good one." No, man.
That that's that's your breakdown. And
you said you watch them highlights, but
now Chase, what we going to do this
week? You ain't just watching the Unless
you got to go to work or something.
Unless you get real busy with something
in life, then I get it. But this week,
you watching the g the whole game too,
my friend. You might as well come watch
it in the stream with all of us. Next
question came from my guy. Eman, what's
up, baby? Appreciate you. He said,
"Hello. Hope you and your family are
doing well. I got three questions for
you. Number one, do you think Jacobe
Lang will be our wide receiver too once
the season starts based off of what he
has shown us? If so, I think he will
have 900 yards receiving and eight
receiving touchdowns." I mean, based off
of what we talked about at the top of
this video, if that goes down, then he
would have no choice but to be. So, I I
wonder if
if what he's been doing so far in the
off seasonason, in preeason, in training
camp, in joint practices, literally in
every phase of football, that could make
them have even more trust in him to take
on a larger role.
We'll see. He said number two, both our
rookie tight ends have been proving
themselves lately. Do you think one of
them is going to take Mark Andrews
starting job? Uh, I don't see it
happening this year, but I think it is
very possible this year because we got a
brand new head coach. This is a brand
new regime. Mark Andrews came in and got
all his his contracts and stuff with the
previous regime. Now, it's a fresh
start. Well, I do believe he going to
start as a starter at least for sure.
But I it it depends on how he's doing.
It depends on how they're doing. If he's
doing really bad and he's really really
struggling and one of them is doing
really really good and they really
pushing him, then I gonna see them
overtaking him after a while. It would
have to be a lot of struggle for Mark
Angels. I I don't I don't foresee that
happening. Like him just really doing
that bad, like really bad. I don't I
don't foresee that happening. Um but
anything is possible. Uh and he also
said number three, I think Lamar Jackson
will win offensive player and MVP in the
same season. Oh, I don't think they
would give him both. That'd be nice, but
I don't think they would give him both.
I think hey, because they they even want
to give him that uh that that third MVP
that he should have got a couple years
ago. And man, that season was amazing.
That season was crazy. So, I I do think
he going to win MVP, uh, for sure. But
just as as long as he wins Super Bowl
MVP, that's all we care about. As long
as somebody on our team wins Super Bowl
MVP, that's what we care about the most.
