>> We just said a prayer for thankfulness
that we had
uh
we still had each other, that we still
had the means to move forward, and
and to make a better, you know, path
forward out of this, and that we were
going to be just thankful for it. And um
we realized that
things are just things, and uh
uh we we we prayed for 3 or 4 minutes
there, and then we stopped, and we
looked at each other, and then he looked
at me, and he said, "You know, let's
let's get up, and let's go, and let's go
serve some others. Let's go and hike
around the community. We've got the rest
of the day, we can get to all the
houses. Let's take pictures of it, and
let's call the people, and let's give
them some closure, you know. Let's let's
let's get our mind off of our woes, and
let's go do something for somebody
else."
