SUNDAY RESET ROUTINE 🫧 self care, deep cleaning + prep for a productive week!
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The video begins with a refreshing Sunday reset routine that starts with a full body shower using Dove body washes to ensure the creator smells amazing all day while keeping her skin soft for twenty-four hours. After enjoying the luxurious scents of the revitalized cherry and chia milk or deep moisture varieties, she applies a face mask to complete her self-care moment. The routine continues with a health-boosting chia seed water made with room temperature water, lemon juice, and honey, which she drinks on an empty stomach to aid digestion and hydration before starting her day.
Following her morning ritual, the creator goes grocery shopping with her partner, Joel, taking this opportunity to dress up in cute summer outfits rather than wearing workout clothes. In the car, she meticulously plans the week's meals by scrolling through Pinterest for new recipes and creating a detailed list that includes items for four to five dinners, accounting for nights they plan to eat out or order takeout. This preparation ensures that when it is time to cook during the week, she already has all the necessary ingredients in the fridge, making the process effortless and reducing stress.
The afternoon is dedicated to fun activities rather than workouts, as she and Joel head to a pitch-and-putt golf course to enjoy some fresh air and exercise together. After their game, they relax by ordering sushi for dinner, marking the end of their physical tasks for the day. To combat the common feeling of "Sunday scaries" or anxiety about upcoming work tasks, she engages in a brain dump session where she writes down every lingering thought, unfinished task, and reminder onto paper without worrying about aesthetics. This practice clears her mind, allowing her to organize her actual planner with only essential daily tasks for the next day.
The routine concludes with a peaceful evening spent reading a summer romance novel while staying off social media before bed, ensuring a calm transition into sleep. By combining physical preparation like cleaning and grocery shopping with mental organization through journaling and planning, she effectively eliminates weekend anxiety and feels ready to tackle the week ahead. The creator emphasizes that this structured approach not only saves time but also significantly reduces stress, leaving her feeling rejuvenated and prepared for whatever comes next.

>> A Sunday reset is absolutely never
complete without a full body shower. And
I am so excited to be partnering with
Dove to share with you guys my absolute
favorite body washes. I've actually been
using this deep moisture one for years
and I've already put all of my friends
on it. I'm pretty sure I even mentioned
it to you guys in one of my previous
videos or I said it on the podcast, but
this has been an all-time favorite of
mine. I feel like the secret to smelling
good all day starts with what you use in
the shower. So this is the Dove deep
moisture body wash and then this one is
the Dove revitalized cherry and chia
milk body wash. The scents on these
actually smell so amazing. This one has
notes of sweetness. It's just so yummy.
It smells so good. It's the perfect
summer scent. And then this one smells
super fresh. This one just makes you
smell so [music] clean. Like if I were
to put clean into a smell category, it
would be this body wash. Today I'm going
to use the revitalized cherry and chia
milk one because I'm just more in the
mood for something fresh [music] and
summery. It smells so good and creates
such a nice lather. And I also love that
I'm not choosing fragrance over how my
skin feels.
>> [music]
>> I just got out of the shower and I
literally feel amazing and rejuvenated.
I put on a face mask to complete the
self-care moment. Dove gives you both an
amazing scent and 24 hours of
lotion-soft skin right out of the
shower. My skin literally feels so soft
and smooth afterwards and it makes me
smell amazing all day. It really does
last on your skin and it's just so
perfect for the summer days right now.
My skin literally eats it up. My skin
has literally never felt so soft and has
smelled so and this is why this has been
my favorite body wash for years now. So,
if you guys want to upgrade your shower
routine and not have to choose between
soft skin [music] and smelling good, you
can try the Dove body washes for
yourself. I will obviously have them
linked down below for you guys. They
have truly been my hyper fixation this
summer. I just feel like a pink princess
right now. Let's continue our Sunday
reset. 10 out of 10. Give me 10. Give me
10.
It is now time for my chia seed water. I
even have this on weekends. I have been
having it every single day because this
has helped my digestion system and
helped keep me regular so much. Like
it's game-changing cuz it gives you like
I'm pretty sure the facts is like 60% of
your daily fiber just in 2 Tbsp of chia
seeds. So, I do 2 Tbsp
of chia seeds
and then this is just room temperature
water.
I'm just going to let this soak for 10
to 15 to 20 minutes. Um, you can even
let it soak overnight. Otherwise, if you
drink chia seeds without soaking up
water, it's literally going to go in
your body and soak up water, which you
do not want. So, after it is ready,
lemon juice and honey into it and it's
so good. You guys know I've already
showed you guys this recipe in multiple
vlogs, but it is still a tried and true
of mine that I've been having every
single morning. So, I'm going to wait
till this soaks and then we will add our
honey and lemon. I like to have this on
an empty stomach before breakfast
because I feel like it just sets my
digestion up for the day and it also
gives me like a bunch of water as well.
So, it's just perfect.

>> I just got ready to go run some errands.
Joel and I are going to do a grocery
run. I feel like whenever we get
groceries on the weekends, we always go
together and I love that. I love going
grocery shopping with Joel way better
than I do alone, so it's like a fun
activity. We might even check out like
some local farmers markets or something
since it is Sunday, but I personally
love to dress up on a Sunday. I don't
know if it's because I grew up going to
church and we would always have to dress
up like first thing in the morning on
Sundays to go to 8:30 a.m. church. But I
love a good little dress up Sunday.
During the week, when I'm going doing my
errands, you guys know I'm literally in
workout clothes or like a tank and
capris or something like that. But on
Sundays, I'm like, why not? Like I feel
like I never wear my cute tops. Like
I'll buy stuff and be like, "Oh, that'll
be perfect for a girls' night or
whatever." And then I never end up
wearing them. But this is your sign to
like wear your cute clothes doing
errands. Like why not wear this cute
little top that I got? Like the butter
yellow is so freaking cute. Why not wear
it? So, I'm trying to like bust out more
of my cute clothes, especially cuz
there's only 1 month left of summer.
Barely, not even. So, I'm trying to wear
all my cute clothes and Sunday it just
feels aligned and right to do that. So,
I have on this little skirt, little top
from Zara, and then I have on my
flip-flops and my purse and I have a
cute little summer outfit. I just
blow-dried my hair, so it's dry and I
got ready for the day, obviously. But
we're going to leave soon. I have my
matcha and while we're driving there,
I'm going to make the grocery list in
the car and then I'll explain to you
guys like how I prep my groceries for
the week and give you a rundown on how I
plan everything. So, let's go to the
grocery store and get our groceries
done.
So, we're in the car and I'm going to
show you guys exactly how I plan the
weekly groceries. So, I have a running
notes app in my phone just for like
miscellaneous groceries that we need
throughout the week and I'll always make
sure to write them down so that I don't
forget. So I always have a grocery list
going. And then what I'll do is I'll
plan out like four to five dinners
because we at least eat takeout once a
week on like a Friday or Sunday or
Saturday night. It really just depends
what we're feeling. And then if we go
out with friends or something, then
twice a week we're eating out. So it
really just depends the week and what
our plans are and stuff. What I do is I
have our grocery list for regular and
then I have a tab for Costco. And then
above I write down our dinner ideas. So
right now I'm just scrolling Pinterest.
This is what I do every week just to
find new recipes. Pinterest or TikTok,
I'll write them down. I'll save the
recipe so that I can have it in my phone
and then I'll write down all the
ingredients in the grocery list on what
I need for that recipe. I do like to
experiment with new recipes especially
like according to the season. So yeah,
basically to prep that is all that I do.
And then it makes it so much easier for
me to actually like go in throughout the
week when I know what's for dinner and I
already have the ingredients in the
fridge. Doesn't take much effort. I
usually just do it like right before I
leave for the grocery store or on the
way, but it's always something that I
need to do. Okay, just finishing up what
we need for our list. So our dinner menu
for this week so far is coconut chicken
rice bowl which is a new recipe. Rice
chicken wraps which I made that a couple
weeks ago and they were so good. And
then I just found this new recipe,
teriyaki shrimp rice bowls which look
really really good. So I'm going to get
an avocado for that. I need shrimp,
teriyaki sauce.

>> I just switched my outfit because Joel
and I are going golfing. I'm wearing
this cutie little pink dress. We're just
going to go do a little pitch and putt
course because it's a beautiful day.
Sundays are for fun activities, not
workouts in my book. So, we're going to
go get our steps in, do a little pitch
and putt course. I suck at golf. Joel is
a golfer through and through, but it's
just fun activity to do together. So,
getting some fresh air, getting some
exercise, but it's super fun and kind of
like a little date. So, we're going to
go do a little pitch and putt course.
Let's go golf.
Go in in.
The first hole was rough, okay? It was
like a It was like a seven for me.
But, we're going to redeem ourselves on
this one. Joel told me to keep my club
face closed.
>> Club face was definitely closed.
>> Well, I'll be able to find it.
>> Yeah, that was a good shot.
>> Ooh.
That That great.
Oh, no.
Find my ball.
Right here.
So close.
Great shot.
>> [music]
>> I'll take that. I need that.
Good job.
That was so good.
>> [music]
>> We got back from golf and ordered sushi.
Like I said, sometimes we eat out
Sundays, sometimes I'll cook, but this
was our one time a week for eating out.
So, I am so excited. I love oshi sushi.
Like this is my favorite type of sushi.
And then these potato croquettes are so
good. I love agedashi tofu. I am so
excited to eat this. So, we're going to
relax and enjoy our food and start the
evening early. So, this is definitely
the most important part and the most
crucial part to my Sunday reset routine.
Getting ready for the next day.
Mentally, not only what we did
physically today, like grocery shopping
and stuff, but like also mentally, cuz I
feel like by the end of the weekend, I
just like keep curating a list of things
that I need to do throughout the week.
Like, "Oh my gosh, I can't forget to do
this. I can't forget to do that." And
then it builds up and then I low-key get
the Sunday scaries. I feel like getting
the Sunday scaries is a universal
experience for anybody who works and has
tasks to do. You can love your job and
still get the Sunday scaries just
because you feel a little bit
overwhelmed about everything that you
need to do. So, what I love to do is I
love to document the Sunday scaries. I
have this like kind of just like this
journal that I have that I basically
just like brain dump. It's not a journal
that I keep aesthetic. It's literally a
journal that I allow myself to write
anything, scribble whatever it is like
that I'm feeling in my mind. This is my
dedicated journal to like brain dump in.
So, it's not my aesthetic journal. I
don't want anything to look pretty. It's
literally going to be torn up when it's
done. Like I'm not keeping this type of
journal. It's not the ones that I want
to keep. This is like my designated
brain dump journal. And I can write
whatever I want. It can be rubbish, it
can be ugly, it can be messy and it
doesn't matter. So, let's do a little
brain dump. I like to do this every
single Sunday. Brain dump on the paper
of just things that I've been kind of
repeating in my mind throughout the
weekend that I know I need to do and
just things I need to catch up on. Just
like even the littlest things like
replying to somebody's text that I
forgot to reply to. Even the littlest
things like that, write it down. When I
tell you writing things from your mind,
putting it onto paper, it's actually the
best thing ever. Anyways, this is what
I'm going to do now. What I do every
Sunday night is do a little brain dump
of things that need to get out of my
head onto paper. So, I can have a
peaceful sleep tonight instead of having
the Sunday scaries.
>> [music]
[music]
>> I like to keep my planner aesthetic and
organized and nice. Therefore, doing the
brain dump helps me like figure out
actually what I need to do so that when
I fill out my planner, it can be
organized and not a brain dump. You know
what I mean? Like different journals for
different things. I also have a Google
calendar going 24/7, okay? That's also
my lifeline. So, my planner kind of has
the layout where it's just kind of like
daily tasks that you tick off and I love
that. It's like my favorite type of
layout for a planner. So, I only like to
fill out kind of one day at a time. I
usually just fill it out every day of
the week in the evening so I know what
I'm doing the next day, but I usually
just go day by day with my planner. So,
if there's like any big things that are
due on certain days, I'll obviously
write those in, but like not absolutely
everything for each day. But I will be
doing Monday for tomorrow.
>> [music]
[bell]
>> Ever since I started planning and just
incorporating like a calendar system
into my life, it has been a
game-changer. This definitely limits the
Sunday scaries, I promise you. Like just
by planning and being prepared, it will
save you so much anxiety throughout the
week. That's my planning system for the
beginning of the week that I've been
doing every single Sunday. I'm going to
relax now, watch probably half an hour
more. So, I'm going to make my tea and
relax for a bit before heading to bed.
>> [music]
>> That officially completes my Sunday
reset routine. I'm going to read now. I
have been really, really, really, really
trying to make an effort of staying off
social media, especially in bed before I
sleep and after I wake up in the
morning. I've been really trying to make
an effort of sticking to that. I'm
currently reading Say You'll Remember Me
by Abby Jimenez. It's my second book
that I've read of her so far, and I
really like it. After I finish this, I'm
definitely going to want to pick up some
sort of fall book for the fall. This is
more of like summer vibe, summer romance
vibe. So, let me know if you guys have
any fall book recommendations. Now, I
get to cuddle in bed, cozy in bed
without any Sunday scaries cuz I
literally genuinely feel like planning
my day out tomorrow really helps me in
my week out. So, no Sunday scaries. Want
to scare the Sunday scaries away. That's
the vibe here. But I just want to end
this video off by saying thank you guys
so much for just even watching and
supporting my channel. It means more
than the world to me. And any video
recommendations you guys want to see
coming up for the fall, please let me
know because I am honestly really
excited to deliver fall content for you
guys. I actually can't believe it's that
time of year again coming up, which is
just insane. So, let me know what you
guys want to see, and I will deliver.
Comment a yellow heart if you have made
it to this point in the video so I know
you're a real one. Good night, and I
will see you guys in my next video.
