Video summary

The video opens with a candid look into the creator's busy summer routine as she balances demanding work hours from home while managing household responsibilities and personal projects. Despite working long days that sometimes extend to twelve or fourteen hours, she emphasizes the importance of taking breaks and maintaining her well-being in her comfortable home environment. The narrative quickly shifts between professional obligations and domestic life, featuring humorous interactions with a neighbor's cat named Trinity and dealing with various chores like trimming overgrown yard areas. She also discusses her financial situation honestly, noting that while she previously earned six figures for several years, recent job changes have reduced her income significantly after depleting savings during an eight-month period of unemployment. As the summer heat intensifies in Texas, reaching temperatures over one hundred degrees, the creator shares details about upcoming events and personal milestones, including a birthday celebration at a local ranch restaurant where she booked an affordable hotel room to avoid high costs associated with her usual dining spot. She reflects on a past accident involving falling while wearing flats that resulted in cracked teeth requiring nearly three thousand dollars in insurance-covered repairs, which ironically gave her the appearance of having free braces due to natural spacing issues. The transcript also touches upon her efforts to prepare for the upcoming school year by organizing calendars and gathering supplies well in advance, highlighting her proactive approach to managing family logistics as she helps her son transition to a new local school district closer to home. Looking ahead toward autumn and winter holidays, the creator reveals that she is already decorating with fall signs and planning where her Christmas tree will go next season, demonstrating an enthusiasm for seasonal changes despite some friends' surprise at her early preparations. She discusses current work challenges involving a corporate project using Slack communication tools, explaining why she had to step back from one gig due to poor communication but remains committed to helping another friend with better pay terms. Throughout the video, there is a recurring theme of resilience and gratitude toward God for keeping her employed despite financial fluctuations, as well as a desire to relax in bed after exhausting weeks while still fulfilling necessary tasks like picking up food delivery or visiting specific stores that cannot be accessed through general retail chains. The summary concludes with the creator's intention to spend most of the weekend resting and winding down by reading books and watching television before returning to work early next week for hair coloring appointments and additional job duties. She maintains a lighthearted tone even when discussing financial stressors, often using humor about her cat interruptions or shopping mishaps involving picture frames that turned out smaller than expected from online purchases. Ultimately, the video paints a portrait of a hardworking individual navigating life's ups and downs with optimism, carefully planning for future seasons while finding moments to enjoy simple pleasures like barbecuing (when weather permits) and spending time with family members who support her through these transitions in career and education.

Yeah, see that on top needs to I'm going to cut that. >> [snorts] >> I had ropes and I noticed last night that these damn Excuse my language. These um lights out here don't work anymore. How's y'all's allergies doing? Okay, yeah, this is all the I haven't really added too much, but you really can't even see much of anything because Most of this stuff these butterflies and stuff I got from the Dollar Tree, but this stuff I got from Michael's. Child, I'm trying real hard not to go to Michael's cuz I've already Look at this. I got this from Amazon and I made this, but um child, I've already >> [snorts] >> Oh, let me show y'all what I'm already getting prepared for the fall. The fall madness. Um I know y'all think, what the hell she talking about Christmas? I'm just ready, y'all. I'm just ready. Just wait. Just wait. Just wait. Girl, why you going in here? Think I have a picture folder. I know I do. Let me get ready so I can drop this dang on laptop off. Mhm. Let me go ahead and get ready, you guys. And I don't have to just JB make He JB makes them stuff. I bought this for JB. He has [snorts] one over there, but we can't find these. So, I bought a new one cuz JB loves to make smoothies, which is good for him because he adds [snorts] um peanut butter into it and um uh sometimes some protein powder. So, if you don't remember, JB doesn't eat meat. Um and so, this is a good alternative for him. So, definitely And sometimes I'll be sneaking other stuff in it, too. So, yeah. But, I need [snorts] to figure out how to take this off cuz he's tied it too tight. All right, y'all. I got to get I'm so silly. I'm like, where's my phone? Girl, you recording on your phone. Duh, me. Girl, So, y'all, yeah. Um today, like I said, I'm going to relax in bed. Relax, wind down. Oh lord. Relax, just wind down some and read, finish reading my book, watch some TV. I know y'all really can't see me. Watch some TV. Um My homegirl wanted to reach out to me because she's in the middle of a huge incentive for her company, and um she wants me to help them, her company, with building a system. And so, I need to read all the paperwork she sent me over the um over the past few days. Um I created a Slack channel and all that for this for this, you know, for this project. Those of you who work in corporate, you know what Slack is. Because that way I can keep track of cuz I I use Slack for all of my little gigs. You see what I'm saying? So, um I kind of hate that I gave up that one side gig cuz it was good money. It was like $65 an hour. But, the only reason why I did is because they were they weren't good with communicating. And I did let the PM know about that. I said, "I'm not going to be able to do this because and I know the system like that. I said, "I'm not going to be able to do this anymore because they're not communicating and plus I just started another job that's going to take me." Now, once I get in this position a lot more, then I can look into So, I get Excuse [clears throat] me. I'm still going to help my friend Wanda cuz her pay there is good, too. But, um like I mentioned to before you guys, and I I'm making it work, but I'm getting behind or I'm having to double up on certain bills because I'm not making as much money as I used to. And I'm trying to think of ways to cut off of things, but y'all also have to understand that >> [snorts] >> when I went when I went into this house, put it like this, for the past 4 or 5 years, I've been making six figures. Um over six figures, and now I'm not. Um I you know, I'm making good money, but that loss in income and you have to also realize that when I wasn't working for 8 months, I depleted all of my savings, all of my uh retirement funds just to survive. Um and I I got let go in summer, and so I had to survive all that time through the winter and holidays and JB was young, you know, and so he's still is young. But what's my point, girl? Um >> [snorts] >> I did get ended up getting a part-time job and that was helping, but that was literally what? Like $800 every 2 weeks? Trust, it was something. That was like $800 every 2 weeks. That's all I can, you know. God is good though, you guys. I I I give all honor and glory to God for keeping me here because the school stuff I I'm a pro at this because JB is switching schools. And I told JB, this is it. Like we can't be switching schools like this all the time. Um He and I I listen to my child, you guys. He was very like, I don't want to go to that school, yada yada. And which is fine with me because uh the school he was going to was far from me. I mean, that was a commute. Um and now he's be he's going to be going to a school right here in Rockwall. I need to see where it's at. So this morning I was um Williams Rockwall School. This morning I was filling out all the um stuff, the rest of the stuff. And I guess next week I'm going to drop off um some more paperwork. But Rebecca all his school supplies. And every other day, every other week when I'm at um the Dollar Tree, I just pick up some more stuff. It's only 6 minutes away. Okay. Yeah, this school is this school is quick. Let me see directions from here. Now in the mornings, I know it's going to be traffic. So the morn morning your location My mama's going to be cooking today. She's like, I'm going to be cooking, barbecuing for the house. Child, it's too hot to be barbecuing. It's going to be like 100°. My mama, you know, she text me last night. She was like, "Well, I'm going to be um barbecuing for all the birthdays tomorrow." I said, "Mama, I I said, "I'm I'm going to be Really, I'm going to be working. I'm going to be working tomorrow, too." Like I said, it's tomorrow coloring my hair. I may do some work today, but I'm definitely going to be working tomorrow. I just need to check on some stuff. Um Uh but today the focus is coloring my hair, finishing this book. Um what's the point, girl? Um 1 3 Oh, I'm sorry, y'all. I'm talking. Um >> [snorts] >> It's too hot to be barbecuing. It's over 100° right now here in Texas, in Dallas. It's too hot. We're not doing all that, so No. Uh but for my birthday, I did go ahead and I booked a hotel right next to the ranch, which is a restaurant that I absolutely love. I went there for my birthday um once before. My birthday last year, though, we did the Anatole. I don't want to do that. We do the Anatole a lot, and it would have been expensive, but um [snorts] I really hadn't got that, and I got the room already. I already paid for it. It was only like $98, like less than $100 basically. Um and we're just going to be there for one night. I got my really cute dress with some kitten heels. Child, after falling that one time in just flats I Y'all remember I fell Those of you don't know, before I got hired in this job, I fell I only I wasn't even drunk. Cuz I could drive home. I fell It was cobblestone that was like and I was wearing flats. I fell face forward and cracked my teeth. When I tell you cracked it. Not only that, my two front teeth ended up having hair lines. Getting my teeth fixed with insurance cost me almost $3,000. I'm still paying for that for these holes. But, they're pretty now. And the thing about it, I had a little space. It's almost I got free braces. Girl, I'm so silly. >> [snorts] >> Hey, hey, hey, you guys. It's the weekend. Look, normally I'd be filming on Friday, but baby, I put in like crazy hours this week. I'll turn the camera around and let y'all know. Like, I think I I was putting in 12 hours a day. >> [snorts] >> 12 hours a day starting at 6:00. Like, yesterday, even though yesterday was Friday, I worked off and on until 6:00 in the afternoon. So, I I put in like 12-14 hours. And then I'll probably have to work tomorrow, too. Anyway, let me show you guys some pictures I purchased recently. Now, it wasn't what I expected, but it matches my overall theme in my room, which is reading. Um So, I got this from Oh, hell, from Amazon. Um I've got that one, and I purchased this one. Now, my thing is that they are a lot smaller than what I thought, and these things cost almost $20. Like, this is a $9 picture. The frame is nice, but these are $9 pictures. These ain't no $20 stuff. Anyway, you guys, I was up early because, oh child, school is getting ready to start for JB. I always get things ready well in advance. Um and I'll let y'all know what I do. Um and I've been doing this for years because I tend to get really busy at work and just busy in life in general. So, one of the first things I do is I print out the school district calendar for the school and I start to plug in important dates on my personal calendar. So, [snorts] and we know school starts on the 13th here. But then I'll put things like when they have a holiday or when they have a day off and I'll I'll make a note on Monday Friday off or Monday within my calendar I'll say early release and then that same day I'll write early release. Now the staff typically would give you notifications too throughout the the days to I I should say throughout the year too but I like to do this personally for myself, okay? Um so I already did that a couple of days ago. And I got some emails back from the school district and I'm having to I had to redo a couple of forms and we're good there. Now since it's the weekend and I had a rough week not really necessarily rough but tiring week. I split my weekends you guys with things that I relax and like today I am going to be in bed. I'm going to show you all what I look like. I'm going to be in bed most of the day and then tomorrow is when they go I I take that back. Like today I have to child, I've been so busy with my new job. I have my laptop for my part-time job ready. Jada? I thought it was Jada. I have my laptop for my part-time job ready and girl what is this? Neighborhood notice. Um I actually have to go to a freaking Girl, whatever. I have to go to an actual FedEx store. You can't just go Leave me alone, girl. You just can't go to like a a CVS or Walgreens like and so it's on the other side of Rockwall. So that's the only thing I am doing today. This is it. That is all I'm doing. Most of the time, I'm going to be in bed. Look. I'm going to show you what it looks like. And I will get into this madness in here in a minute, too. This is This is what I'm wearing all day. Well, I'm going to switch into something when I drop off this damn package, but this is me today reading um and and I'm looking at the fall again, re-looking at the fall, the series. Girl, don't come in here bothering me.
