Video summary
The stock market is currently experiencing a broad downturn across major indices, with the Dow Jones falling over 1.1%, the Russell down 1.4%, and the S&P 500 slipping by about 1%. Despite this decline, the speaker remains calm and does not view the situation as a sign of an impending crash or the end of the world. Instead, they see this pullback as a healthy correction after a strong run in August, noting that key indices like the S&P 500 are still trading above their critical moving averages, suggesting the overall uptrend remains intact. While commodities like oil and precious metals such as gold and silver are rising alongside Bitcoin's continued gains, the speaker emphasizes that this market dip actually creates new opportunities for investors to lock in profits on existing positions and acquire quality stocks at lower prices.
Taking advantage of the market weakness, the speaker outlines specific strategies involving several key companies. They are closely watching CrowdStrike, which is approaching a support level near $190 ahead of its earnings report, potentially setting up a rebound rally if results are strong. Additionally, they plan to close out covered call positions on Robinhood to secure profits while keeping most of their shares for future upside potential, especially if regulatory clarity improves Bitcoin's outlook. For Alphabet (Google), the speaker intends to "nibble" on shares as the stock dips toward $330 or even lower levels like $320 and $310, viewing these drops as ideal entry points for one of their longest-held investments rather than a reason to sell.
A significant portion of the discussion is dedicated to Blue Moon Metals (BMM), a critical metals mining company with projects in Norway, the United States, and other jurisdictions. The speaker highlights the company's impressive performance, noting its stock has risen 90% over the past year, driven by five brownfield polymetallic projects focused on copper, zinc, gold, silver, and critical minerals like tungsten, germanium, and gallium. These projects are strategically located in tier-one jurisdictions with existing infrastructure, reducing development risks and capital costs. Recently, Blue Moon Metals acquired 33 additional tungsten and antimony projects in the western United States for approximately $15.5 million, significantly expanding its portfolio of critical mineral assets that are essential for global economies and national security.
In conclusion, the speaker advises viewers to do their own research and not take financial advice from the video, clarifying that they currently own zero shares of Blue Moon Metals despite discussing it at length. They frame today's market decline as a normal part of a healthy bull market rather than a bearish signal, encouraging investors to stay disciplined and look for value in beaten-down stocks. The speaker invites viewers to engage in the comments, join their Patreon for portfolio updates and trade insights, or access their private Discord community for more detailed discussions on market movements and investment strategies as they navigate this temporary downturn.

So, we're down across the board in the
stock market today, guys. And no, I'm
not panicking. I'm not selling. I'm
actually looking at a couple stocks, and
I'm about to buy a couple stocks here,
guys. So, let's break down what's going
on in the market, stocks I'm watching,
and overall where my head's at now. So,
guys, hit the like button, make sure to
subscribe, and join my Patreon if you
want to keep up with what I'm actually
doing in the market, my trades,
investments, and if you want to be a
part of my private Discord. All that's
linked down below in the comments, in
the bio, or go to
stasurfans.com/patreon.
And now, let's dive into it. So, again,
we're down across the board. The Dow's
now down over 1.1%. The Russell's down
1.4. The Q's are down now about 1%. Now,
we're at 709. Those put debit spreads,
they're looking better and better, guys.
Earlier, last time we talked about them,
the Q's were at 712, 713. This is why
you hedge your portfolio, right? And
Spy's now trading down about 3/4 of a
percent as the Vix is up 7 and 1/2%.
Oil's up both Brent and WTI.
Um, you know, crude, right? And
[clears throat] we can see silver,
gold's up. Everything is, well, not
looking so pretty. Uh, you know, except
for Bitcoin. I guess if you're a Bitcoin
maximalist, today's a great day for you
if you're not in stocks. Uh, but it's
not the end of the world. It's honestly
far from the end of the world, guys.
We're still in an uptrend on Spy, on
pretty much all these indices, right?
Spy's still above 760, still above the
180 SMA. We're seeing that here on, um,
the Dow Jones as well, right? The
Russell as well, if it wants to
pop up for me here, guys. Boom, there we
go. And we can see,
um, the Q's are still looking fine as
well. Although, I do have put debit
spreads on them and now we're down over
1%. I don't think we're going to
full-blown crash here,
but we are selling off as of today as a
lot of stocks are getting hit and I
think opportunities are opening up
across a lot of these different stocks.
I think CrowdStrike at 190 now is
getting very interesting heading into
earnings. Not that I'm going to gamble
on their earnings and buy the stock
right before earnings or buy puts or
calls or do anything like that. But it
does look like we're approaching
the trend here where we have held as
support over the last couple of months
and earnings I think are on the same day
as Nvidia. This might even see a
recovery rally before earnings. They're
on the 26th next Wednesday and if they
crush earnings guys, this could be a
beautiful setup for a rebound on
CrowdStrike and was I not talking about
it a couple of videos ago? I mentioned
you guys look, watch CrowdStrike. Look
for a pullback towards 190. That's where
it really starts to get interesting
you know, anywhere between 170, 80, 190.
It really gets interesting and here we
are. So I'm watching CrowdStrike over
the next couple of days. My eyes are
peeled on Robinhood as well as Bitcoin
continues to creep up here and Robinhood
it is down a little bit on the day as
the entire market's down so it makes
sense. It is a stock after all, but if
Bitcoin continues to run, if that
clarity act gets pushed pushed through,
Robinhood's going to be back over 100,
105, 110 dollars a share. That's my
opinion and that's why I'm looking to
actually close out my covered calls
position which is only on part of my,
you know, stake here on Robinhood, but
but I want to keep as many shares as
possible and I think now, you know, this
down day we're seeing is actually a
great day to close that position, lock
in profits.
But but, I'm watching Robinhood. I'm
watching
um you know, CrowdStrike. Alphabet is
getting very close as well. We hit 337
or actually 36 earlier. Now, we're back
at 337. The stock's down 1.3%.
I might nibble a little bit today,
honestly. Uh but, I'm keeping the bulk
of my buying pressure power, not
pressure, power
um for a move down to 330, 320, if it
even gets there. And obviously, 300, 310
would be even better. Uh but, I don't
know if it goes down another 10% from
here. What do you guys think? It's
already down from highs, not much, um
about 17%. But, do you think Google goes
down to 300 another 10, 12%? I don't
know. That might be a little too bearish
in the short term. And if it does, hey,
I'll be gobbling up shares like crazy.
I'm long Google. It's one of my biggest
stocks, one of my longest-held
investments, and I'm taking advantage of
this dip. I'm I'm nibbling a little bit,
but I'm saving that buying power for
down here if we get there. And if we do,
oh boy, am I going to be buying more
Alphabet. So, those are a couple of
stocks that I'm eyeing up very closely
right now, and I'm watching this company
as well. The company is Blue Moon
Metals. Let's dive deeper into them.
They trade on the Nasdaq under ticker
BMM and on the TSXV under ticker MOON.
And this part of the video was made on
their behalf. And look, guys, this
stock's up 90% over the past year.
Unbelievable. Let's dive deeper into
what this company does. Blue Moon
Metals, again, BMM on the Nasdaq.
They're actually advancing five
brownfield polymetallic projects. We're
talking copper, zinc, gold, right?
Silver. And these projects, all five of
these projects, are well located with
existing local infrastructure in Norway
and in the United States um including
roads, power, and historical
infrastructure. And zinc, copper, and
tungsten tungsten is another one um are
currently on the USGS and EU lists of
metals critical to the global economy
and national security, right? Which a
lot of you know. And germanium and
gallium are also on the USGS list of
critical metals. And major shareholders
include Teck Resources Limited, funds
managed by Oaktree Capital Management,
and more. And again, this company has
projects across Norway and the United
States, which these are tier one
jurisdictions. USA and Norway are
focused on critical metals mining,
obviously. And some of their projects,
the Springer one in particular in the
United States, is to become a central
processing hub for critical metals ores
in western in the western um United
States of America. And all five projects
are fully permanent or have a low-risk
quick path to production. And they have
a strong development plan with low
capital cost intensity, obviously due to
brownfield nature of the five projects
and high grades. And in my opinion,
there are serious potential here
involving these projects, which I want
to dive a little bit deeper into right
now. Starting off here with Nuseir.
Nuseir consists of 100% owned Nuseir and
infrastructure at the Brownfield Oyen
industrial site adjacent to a year-round
ice-free port. And construction on the
roughly 2,500 m exploration decline at
Nuseir commenced in June 2025, and full
mine construction started back in April
of this year, 2026. And there's an
underground brownfield copper mine
maiden feasibility study, which was
published, and final investment decision
declared in April 2026 with mineral
reserves 2.6 MT proven and 22.3 MT
probable, and mineral resources of get
this, 2.7 MT measured and 26 MT
indicated, and 32 MT inferred. And the
NSG project in Norway, which is located
in Nordland County, Norway, the NSG
property is historically one of the most
geologically prospective areas in the
country with Sulitjelma having hosted
the largest copper mining operation in
the country and a maiden mineral
resource estimate for this volcanogenic
massive sulfide deposit was announced
back in April of 2025. They have
underground tunnel extension at RD for
underground drilling for development of
high-grade resources, and up to 10,000 m
underground exploration drilling. And
the Springer project in the United
States is located in Pershing County,
one of it's part of the rich mining
landscape that has long defined
Northwestern Nevada, right? And the
Springer tungsten mine is planned to be
advanced through a multi-phase work
program in 2026 with the initial phase
focusing on a detailed review of
available historical information
including drill logs, core where
accessible, cross sections, right? Assay
data, and the existing block model
covering the Suttan 1 and Suttan 2
tungsten skarn deposits. And of course,
guys, the Blue Moon project, which we
can see right here, is an advanced stage
100% owned zinc, copper, gold, silver
project. And the Brownfield project is
located in Mariposa County, East Central
California, and has access to roads and
hydropower, which is key. And listen to
this, guys, a March 2025 PEA, updated in
September 2025, highlights robust base
case economics, 38% IRR, 2.4 year
payback, and underground mining at 1,800
tons per day. And the Apex project, in
this case, the Apex mine, located in
Washington County in southwestern Utah,
is part of a historic mining district
known for its polymetallic and critical
mineral potential. And the Apex property
hosts a past-producing underground mine
with significant gallium, germanium,
copper, and silver mineralization,
making it one of the few primary
gallium, germanium uh deposits
identified in the United States. Now,
listen to this, guys, Blue Moon Metals
just acquired 33 tungsten and antimony
projects in the western United States,
becoming a significant US tungsten,
germanium, gallium, and antimony
owner. Check this out here.
Consideration for the projects consist
of the following, which we're not going
to go through all of this. I'll leave a
link to this company down below if you
guys want to learn more, but 2.8 million
common shares of the company subject to
a 4-month holding period at a price of
$5.55
per share, US dollars, or a total of
approximately 15 and 1/2 million
dollars, a 1% NSR royalty on each
project, US 5 million dollars in cash,
of which US 2 and 1/2 million dollars is
to be paid on the closing date, and 2
and 1/2 million dollars to be paid on
the first anniversary of the closing
date. And the list goes on of this
transaction, guys, which again, we can't
go fully deep into it, uh but this is
major news for the company, especially
as these projects are complimentary to
the company's Springer tungsten complex
in Nevada and Apex germanium, gallium,
copper Mine in Utah. And the projects
are being acquired on a 100% ownership
basis from a private owner on an arms
length basis. And we also got some
initial results from the ongoing infill
drilling campaign at their New Seer
project and further deep drilling
exploration results. And listen to this,
Blue Moon continues to expand the
high-grade deep mineralization in the
western limb of the New Seer project
following up on the recommendations
outlined in the AI 43-101
technical report by Adam Wheeler where a
high-grade intercept of 9.7 m at 1.22%
CuEq in the whole NUSD D 14001
was identified at a depth of 1.2 km. And
again, I'll leave all this info down
below. Add this stock to your watchlist,
BMM Blue Moon Metals on the Nasdaq and
MOON on the TSX. Guys, do your own
research. I'm not a financial advisor
and I currently own zero shares of this
stock. And with that being said, that's
pretty much it. And yeah, it's it's uh
it's one of those days, but it's not too
bad. This is a healthy pullback for the
market which, let's be honest, it's been
up all of August for the most part. Not
every individual stock, but all the
indices have been doing well this August
and we've been due for a pullback. So,
