Video summary
Pastor Vlad opens his teaching on spiritual warfare by recounting a harrowing yet triumphant encounter in Nigeria, where he witnessed a church service that lasted over fourteen hours and resulted in numerous deliverances. The climax of this experience occurred when a man from the Boko Haram terrorist group was dragged to the front after manifesting demons; despite wearing protective charms, he confessed his intent to bomb the church with his crew before being arrested by authorities who rushed in just as he was about to finish his testimony. This event served as a stark reminder that spiritual warfare is not merely a theoretical topic but a dangerous reality where believers can become casualties if they do not understand and actively engage with it, emphasizing that while Satan may influence or tempt, individuals remain ultimately responsible for their choices and actions.
The pastor then addresses three common extremes in how people misunderstand spiritual warfare to establish a biblical framework. The first extreme is the excuse that "the devil made me do it," which shifts blame away from human responsibility; Pastor Vlad clarifies that while Satan may push or plant thoughts, humans retain free will and must own their decisions, much like an individual is held accountable for driving drunk even if alcohol influenced them. The second extreme is the denial of the supernatural by reducing all spiritual battles to mental illnesses or physical causes, a view rooted in Greek dualism that separates the spirit from the body; Pastor Vlad argues against this by affirming the Hebrew worldview where the spiritual and natural realms are connected, noting that while some issues are purely mental or fleshly, many involve both demonic influence and human vulnerability. The third extreme is attributing evil directly to God's will, which distorts God's character by making Him the author of sin; instead, Pastor Vlad explains that God permits evil within set boundaries for His sovereign purposes but does not create or authorize sickness, death, or abuse, as evidenced by Jesus' ministry of healing and driving out demons.
To correct these misconceptions, Pastor Vlad outlines three foundational truths about spiritual warfare: first, Satan is no match to God because He is a created being whose existence depends on Christ, meaning the battle is not between two equal powers but between an omnipotent Creator and a rebellious creature who has already been defeated at the cross. Second, while the devil is completely defeated, he is far from retired; he remains an active predator who prowls like a roaring lion to exploit human vulnerabilities rather than waiting passively for invitations, attacking both directly through deception and indirectly through cultural systems like politics and education. Third, believers do not fight to achieve victory but to enforce the victory Jesus already secured on the cross while awaiting His second coming to fully eradicate evil; this perspective transforms Christians from victims into soldiers who use weapons such as the Word of God, prayer, worship, and the blood of the Lamb to stand firm against the enemy.
The message concludes with a call for believers to reject fear and embrace their identity as warriors equipped with divine armor, declaring that Satan has no authority over them and that every plot against them will fail because Jesus is stronger. Pastor Vlad invites the audience to verbally declare these truths, affirming that they are not slaves or punching bags but soldiers who walk in the plunder of Christ's victory, resisting the world's system and rejecting anything that aligns with the devil. Ultimately, the sermon reinforces that the blessed hope of the church is not merely a Christian nation but the return of Jesus to finish what He started at the cross, destroying every curse, principalities, and demonic power while restoring creation and giving believers new bodies free from fleshly desires.

Today I'm going to speak to you about
spiritual warfare. When I had an
encounter one time that I would say if
it wouldn't be for the power of Christ
to deliver people, I wouldn't be
standing here today. We organized a trip
to uh Nigeria. This church service there
was not an hour and 20 minutes. It was
about 14 or 15 hours long. One service,
not multiple services, very long. A lot
of people getting delivered, a lot of
people get getting set free, a lot of
people getting healed. And um I was on
the front row. Next thing that happened
is that I see they drag a person to the
front. Now, this is not new for me when
somebody's being dragged to the front
and manifesting demons. We've I've seen
this before. So, in Africa, I'm like,
"This is normal. This is just another
day at church. A guy's being dragged in.
He's manifesting. Demons are screaming
out of him and all of that stuff." And
so, the moment the demon comes, demons
come out of him, he gets on his knees
and he starts crying. Now, in front of
me, I see his face change. He was
violent, which is usually happens when
people have demons inside of them. His
eyes were different. They were dark.
There was something there that was
nefarious and evil. And now his just
there's light. There is this collar that
is to him. And he raises his hands and
he says, "I want to accept Jesus." I was
like, "Well, I'm pretty sure you do." He
takes the charm out of his body and he
said, "I am a member of Boo Haram
terrorist group." Now, I'm not an expert
on terrorism, but I knew about Boo
Haram. They were responsible for 10,000
deaths in Nigeria in 10 years. This is
the most vicious,
powerful terrorist group. And this guy
is one of the members. And he said, "We
came here today to kill people. We came
with the bomb." And we were waiting
outside of the church for your service
to end. We were at the cafe watching the
live stream so we don't miss the ending
of the service. We had a bomb. We
planned to put the bomb at the doors.
Now, where I was sitting, the church was
kind of interesting that there was about
maybe 10 rows and then there was an exit
door. So, we were literally sitting at
the exit door of this service. He said,
"As we were waiting for the service to
come to an end through the live stream,
we started to get tormented and so the
rest of my crew left and I decided to
stay because I have charms to protect me
from Christian influence."
I was like, "There's charms for that?"
Really? Cuz they definitely Somebody
Somebody lied to you. That doesn't work
against Christian influence. And so he
says, "As this was happening, then I
blacked out." But what happened is the
owner of the cafe noticed that the guys
manifesting in his coffee, called the
church. The church sends their watchmen
and the watchmen know what to do. They
drag THIS GUY TO THE FRONT. They're
like, "This is where you belong."
So this guy gets delivered. BEFORE HE
FINISHES HIS TESTIMONY, their equivalent
of FBI rushes into the service and lock
him up. Praise the Lord. and he now
serves the rest of his testimony,
whatever that he's serving at. That
night I went to sleep and it dawned on
me, had it not been for the power of God
to arrest this guy, 60 caskets would
have been sent back to the United States
and I would have been one of them. So
when people talk about deliverance, when
people talk about spiritual warfare, to
me it's not a topic in the book. It's a
reality
>> that exists in this world without which
if you don't understand it and if you
don't work as a Christian with it, you
will be a casualty of the spiritual
warfare. Out of many reasons I believe
in God. One of them is because there's a
devil.
People will sometimes ask me, how do you
know that this is real? Evil in this
world is one of the explanations that
the Bible gives us that there is evil
that fights against a good God. and we
are on God's side and he wants us to
have victory and he wants us to live in
that victory. Next few weeks I'm going
to talk about different things. Today I
just want to open it up. It's not going
to be a comprehensive study but just
enough to weten your appetite of what
spiritual warfare is and how to be a
person that is effective in spiritual
warfare. Let me start from the
beginning. There are three main extremes
when it comes to spiritual warfare.
Number one, the devil made me do it.
It's when you blame the devil for
everything. We have a case right now
that is happening that is gaining a lot
of attention when a woman killed three
of her kids.
She said she did it. Her lawyer said she
did it. The opposing team said she did
it. Um and of course everybody who loves
her says she didn't do it. And now it's
blamed on hormones or it's blamed on
mental illness. She says during the time
that she was killing her kids, she told
them go be with God. And then she
admitted that she was hearing voices.
Now whether that's true or not, one
thing is certain is that demons and
Satan influence people toward evil
things. But there's one thing you have
to keep in mind is that even if Satan
pushes you to do something, Satan is not
responsible. The moment you take action,
you see Judas and Peter both being
influenced by Satan. Satan plants a
thought in Judas's mind and Judas plans
it. And the Bible says Satan asked to
sift Peter like wheat. But Peter repents
of his sin. He doesn't say, "Oh, devil
made me do it." Judas, he commits
suicide, betrays Jesus. So if Satan is
responsible for everything that you do,
how come two outcomes were different?
Peter, he though denies Jesus, repents
and Judas betrays Jesus and commits
suicide. Satan cannot make you do
anything. You still have a choice and
you are responsible for your choice, not
the devil. The ancient lie of the
spiritual warfare is what Eve did. The
devil made me do it. And a lot of people
do that in spiritual warfare is they
take no responsibility for their
behavior and they say, "Well, I had
tormenting thoughts." That's true. We
admit that. We sympathize with the
suffering that you have. But as a human
being, you are responsible for your
behavior and your words, not the devil.
The devil will burn in hell for his
mistakes, his sins, and you and I carry
consequences for ours. The Bible says
that Satan came and moved David to take
senses of the nation of Israel. Yet, the
prophet comes to David and says, "You're
the man who committed the sin." And
David doesn't say, "Well, Satan made me
do it." David says, "I have sinned." So,
Satan might be responsible to push you,
but it was your decision to jump.
>> Kind of like alcohol. If you take
alcohol,
the alcohol company is not going to
court. You're going to court. And you
kill somebody under the influence of
alcohol. 100% the alcohol made you do
it. But it was you who did it.
>> We don't take liquor to court. We take
the driver to court. Why? because you
yielded to the influence of alcohol. You
and I have the right to yield to the
influence of the devil or to yield to
the influence of God.
>> And however we yield, we become
responsible for that.
>> Amen. The second extreme teaching or
extreme understanding of spiritual
warfare and that is this. So not only
God made me do it or the devil made me
do it, but the second one is it's all
mental. Meaning none of it is spiritual.
And it really did not start with
cessationism where we deny the
supernatural. It started way way back
with the Greeks. The world of the
ancient world was always overly
spiritual. The Hebrew understanding of
the world was always unified where the
spiritual and the natural are in unity.
Your body and your spirit, they're in
unity. The body is not evil. The spirit
is not better. Both are good. And both
need redemption from God. Greeks came in
and they divided the spiritual from the
natural and they said the spiritual is
the ideal and is holy and is perfect.
The natural is evil. Your body is
trapped in this physical. Your spirit is
trapped in this physical world called
the body. And your goal is one day to
leave this evil world and to be in this
ideal world. At first it seems like, oh
yeah, this is kind of what we believe.
Absolutely not.
Because in a Hebrew world view,
the spiritual is not better than the
physical. The physical is created by
God. It is under sin and God seeks to
redeem it. Not only the spiritual but
also the physical. In the Hebrew world
view, both worlds, they intervene in
together. God walks among men. God
influences the nature. His power splits
the Red Sea. God is not on floor two and
you on floor one. These two are
connected.
So we cannot adopt a Greek world view
when it comes to our world. The
spiritual created the natural. The
spiritual affects the natural and the
spiritual intervines with the natural.
These are not disconnected.
Sometimes it's just a mental illness.
Sometimes it's a demon. Usually it's
both.
Sometimes it's just the flesh because
your flesh doesn't need the devil to be
the devilish. Sometimes it's just the
devil, but a lot of times things
overlap. And so it's important as
Christians that we don't embrace this
thing where everything is a demon. Nor
do we go to the other extreme where we
begin to say, "Well, all of this is
mental. All of this is physical. All of
that is just mental." Because right now
in the spiritual warfare camp,
everything is a demon. In the culture,
it's just hormones. Right?
>> You're the fact you killed your kids.
Well, you know what? You need to be
excused. Why? Because hormones are the
blame. Biology is the blame, my friend.
No, no, no, no, no. We take
responsibility for our behavior, not our
hormones and not demons.
But the spiritual affects the natural
and the natural collaborates with the
spiritual. The third extreme teaching of
spiritual warfare or I would say and
this exists mainly in a lot of ultra
reformed uh circles where God is the
blame meaning God allowed it, God
created it and God permitted it for his
mysterious purpose and glory.
The challenge with that understanding is
this. It stretches God's sovereignty
into something contrary to his
character. Evil becomes part of God. But
the Bible says God cannot be tempted by
evil nor does he tempt anyone. God is
light and in him there is no darkness.
When you read the Old Testament and you
see God allowing or sending an evil
spirit. This is describing God's
judicial permission and withdrawal of
restraint. It is not God manufacturing
evil. God sets the boundaries of what
evil is permitted to do. God does not
author what evil does within those
boundaries.
God does not author sickness. God does
not author death. God does not author
abuse. God does not author sickness and
disease. Jesus is God in flesh. And
Jesus stopped storms. Didn't authorize
them. Jesus healed the sick. He didn't
sign them. Jesus drove out demons that
caused people to be tormented. Jesus is
God. And Jesus was at war with evil.
God is good and not evil. God is at war
with evil. And that is evidenced in
Jesus ministry. These are the three
extremes that people might have. And we
for those of you who are coming to
Hungry Jen and you probably have heard
the rumor that's a demon church. First
of all, I want to let you know we're not
a demon church. We are a Jesus church.
This is not Vlad's church. This is not
this church doesn't belong to any of the
pastors. I didn't bleed for this church.
I'm not married to this church. Jesus is
married to the church and I am a member
of this church. But in this church, we
do believe in winning souls. In this
church, we do believe in making
disciples. In this church, we do believe
in prayer and in fasting. In this
church, we do believe in casting out
demons. In this church, we do believe in
raising the next generation. So,
whatever label people want to put on,
they can put on. But I just want to make
it clear, not everything is the devil.
Not everything is always has a natural
explanation. And God is good. He's not
evil. And we preach the good news of
Jesus Christ.
Now with that said, I want to give you
three thoughts about spiritual warfare
that I want you to keep in mind. Let
these be the framework of how you view
the spiritual warfare. These three
thoughts are also going to be the
foundation of when I talk about next
time demonization especially even of
believers. Number one, Satan is not a
match to God. This is important.
Spiritual warfare is not the story of
two equal powers competing with
uncertain outcome. Spiritual warfare is
a story of a rebellious creature still
on the leash whose defeat was
accomplished by the man Jesus. And the
same weapons Jesus used to defeat this
creature are now available to the
believer. I want to make that clear. God
and Satan are not in the ring. God has
no rival. God never fought Satan.
>> His angels did. God never gets involved
in the battle below him.
>> There is no battle. God even gets
involved in. God has no opponent. He's
all by himself.
>> God is omnipresent, meaning present
everywhere. Satan is not. The Bible says
in Job, Satan roamed around the earth
and God said, "Where were you?" He says,
"I went around the earth." He has to go
around. God doesn't walk around. He is.
He is the I am.
FYI, this God is your father.
>> FYI, this God has a hope for you.
God is also all powerful. It's called
omnipotent. All powerful meaning he has
all the there is no power anybody who
even could think of having that God does
not. God is also eternal meaning he has
no birthday.
Satan had a creation day when he was
created and there was a time when Satan
was not.
There was never a time when God was not.
You can't compete with that.
God is also all knowing.
Satan has limited knowledge in
comparison to God. So what does this
mean? When you approach the spiritual
warfare, you approach it from the
biblical foundation.
Satan h is your enemy. To God, he is not
a worthy opponent. Come on.
>> God won't be fighting him
>> even in the future. It will be an angel.
One of the lowranking angels will come
take a chain and bind this guy and lock
him up.
>> God won't even be involved. And when
Jesus comes, the scripture says the
Satan's trinity Jesus won't be fighting.
He will open his mouth. A sword will
come out. Pam, game is over. That's not
a fight. That's annihilation.
>> That's a total destruction.
Why? Any warfare view that exalts Satan
into a place of a worthy opponent to God
>> puts down the word of God
>> and the character of my God. Satan is my
opponent. Satan is a rival to me. He was
an angel of God and I'm just below the
angels. I am a human being who is
indwwellled by the Holy Spirit. But I'm
not alone. But Satan is not a match to
my God. In fact, Colossians chapter 1
says the following. Verse 16. For by him
speaks of Jesus, all things were created
that are in heaven and are on the earth,
visible and invisible, whether thrones
or dominions or principalities or
powers. All things were created through
him and for him.
I want you to notice this.
Satan
is not operating outside
of God's sovereign rule over the earth.
There's no this thing where God has his
kingdom and somehow there is another
realm that exists outside of God that
Satan is the king over. That's why even
people say, well, you know, Christians
cannot be owned by a demon. Can I even
suggest to you demons don't own
anything.
Nothing they have, they own.
>> They didn't make anything. All the devil
is is a copycat. He didn't create a
planet. He didn't create anything. He is
a created being. He didn't even create
the demons that are subject to him.
>> Satan exists
because of God. And he depends, HIS
EXISTENCE DEPENDS on Christ.
>> Imagine that. The Bible says through
Jesus everything is made. For Jesus
everything is made and it's by Jesus
everything is sustained. There is one
being that holds the universe and if
there are multiple dimensions he holds
them as well. If there is life beyond
our planet which I don't believe that HE
HOLDS THAT LIFE AS WELL.
>> ALIENS,
>> DEMONS, PRINCIPALITIES, THRONES, there
is one being THAT HOLDS EVERYTHING. THAT
being is Jesus Christ. And Satan's
EXISTENCE DEPENDS ON THAT BEING. SO
DON'T EXALT the devil to the place he's
not supposed to be in. Do not exaggerate
his greatness.
>> He is evil. He is nefarious. He is bent
on bad. But he is not a match to our
God.
>> Jesus is the image of invisible God.
What's important to highlight as well
while I'm at it is you are not the
center of the universe. Christ is
>> you are not the belly button of the
earth. Jesus is. You don't hold by your
existence the planets, the gravity and
the universe. Christ by himself holds
everything. And Satan runs around there.
But Satan knows that and you need to
know that that his existence depends on
Christ holding everything.
He doesn't even hold his own existence
outside of the power of Christ that
holds everything together. And that's
important to highlight. That's why in
the Old Testament you will see
references like God send the spirit. You
may say I don't get it. Is demons work
for God? Everything God controls.
Does it mean that he sends the demons?
In a sense, when people disobey God, he
removes the restraint that allows demons
to exploit your disobedience.
>> That's why Paul tells us in Ephesians,
do not give place. Why? Because once you
give the place, they will exploit it.
>> I had in a situation that happened to me
in Ukraine. I was struggling with math
and the teacher that I had, who was my
neighbor, she was a a doctor, and she
helped me with math. This teacher had a
a German Shepherd. this German Shepherd,
this breed she had was 100% demonp
possessed,
evil as they come. And this German
Shepherd, it was probably a killer dog.
So, she had him on the leash. And, you
know, when I was young, I was very
scared of him. But then, as I got used
to his violent barks and saliva and
everything, I became confident because I
knew that this dog was on the leash and
I knew that this dog could got could not
get past his leash. And the leash was
very strong. And so one time I came with
my math to have this teacher, you know,
help me with my math. And um and I
didn't see the dog. I saw his little we
call it in Ukrainian uh Buddha. I saw
his little dog house, but I didn't see
the dog. So uh the curiosity got the
best of me. So I put my books down. I
decided to go and stick my head into his
um house. Now I wasn't that stupid. I
understand what some of you thinking. I
first from a side looked if there is
nothing there. The house was very big.
There was nothing there. where I failed
to look is behind the house.
So, as I got into the place where he
usually roams around and I got on my
knees uh to stick my head inside of his
house, you know, oh, I was like, "Yeah,
he's not there." And then I heard the
sound
heard the sound of something waking up
and I heard the sounds of chains. And by
the time I stuck my head out of the
house, this demon-possessed Leviathan
was looking right at me. And he it's
it's almost like he's like finally
student I will have a fresh meat.
All this yelling you did at me all these
dust and rocks that I threw at him when
the teacher wasn't looking. And so and
he's like I will pay you back. And so
and paying back he did. He jumped at me
like a piece of fresh meat. He started
to devour me. Um and I screamed. I mean
I I screamed and then he launched onto
my leg right here and blood gushing
everywhere and I'm beginning to faint.
Had it not been for the screaming that I
did and the doctor teacher that came
down and pulled me out of him, he would
have devoured me alive. I would have I
would have died that day. And she had to
without any anesthesia had to stitch me
up because there was so much bites and
so much blood. He live stitched me up
and saved my life that day. So she
didn't just teach me homework. She t she
saved me. And uh something I learned
that day. Very powerful lesson.
When a dog is on a leash,
he can only bark.
He cannot bite you.
But the moment you step on his
territory, he's no longer barking.
He's devouring.
He's biting. But I also learned a third
lesson. If you call on the name of
Jesus,
there is a God who controls even the
violent ones. God steps in and pulls the
demons out. And not only he takes the
demons out, he will stitch your life up.
He will bring healing to your soul. He
will bring restoration to your life. He
will restore your family. He will
restore your mind. Can somebody give God
some praise for the freedom we've
experienced by the power of the name of
Jesus Christ?
First thing somebody say the devil is no
match for God. Say this the devil is no
match for God. The second thing and the
second truth is the devil is defeated
but not retired.
The first truth seeks to correct the
notion that the devil is powerful all
powerful. The second truth seeks to
correct the notion that the devil, this
is how I heard some charismatics present
the devil. The devil is a mouse with no
teeth.
Yeah, I wish that would be true.
Roaring like a lion. That doesn't sound
like a mouse. Seek him whom he may
devour in book of Revelation. He's going
to try to kill you. Uh Jesus says to one
of the churches and he deceives. And
that doesn't seem like a mouse without
teeth. That still seems like a defeated
but not retired enemy which is very
important. I want you to understand this
about the demonic nature. The devil is
not passive. He is prowling. He is an
aggressive beha. He has an aggressive
behavior and he is a predator. The Bible
never paints him as retired. Also
something that caught my attention. The
devil is not waiting to be invited.
He initiates invitations.
He exploits vulnerabilities. He walks
around seeking whom he may devour.
Demons are looking for space. He's a
hunter. He's a fisher. He's a searcher.
He's an expert exploer. Look what the
Bible says in First Peter 5:8. Be sober
and diligent because your adversary, the
devil, walks around like a roaring lion.
The fact he walks around tells us he's
not omnipresent. But the fact that he's
not sitting in a cage and waiting for
you to practice a Ouija board and bring
crystals in your home and summit a demon
through necromancy, that is not the
devil we're looking for. He's looking
for you. Yes. Yes.
>> Any spiritual warfare that points the
devil as somebody who's busy in
Hollywood or Silicon Valley or somewhere
in jungles of Mexico, Siberia or India
and he is not aggressively,
intentionally and passionately looking
for you is not a biblical worldview.
Peter says he is walking around looking
seeking whom he may devour. Matthew
12:43 it says when an unclean spirit
goes out of a man he goes through dry
places seeking rest and finding none.
And then he says meaning demons can
speak to other demons. I will return to
my house so he treats a human as a house
to which I came. And when he comes he
finds it empty swept and put in order.
He goes in and takes with him seven
other spirits that are more wicked and
they enter and dwell there. All of this
tells us the demon Satan is a displaced
entity relocating, scouting, and
re-entering with reinforcements.
You must understand your flesh is
different. It's an internal corrupted
nature. But we're talking about a being
that is homeless and is looking. It's
not standing on the edge of the street
with a sign, help me.
>> He's looking. He's prowling. He is a
predator. We're talking about think of a
a lion when you are in the jungle. The
lion is not just over there with a sign
in the jungle says, "I am hungry. Can
somebody give me a piece of steak?"
We're talking about a snake. A snake
snake is not there knocking on the door
say, "Hey, I'm kind of hungry. Can you
give me something?" A snake doesn't do
that. A snake looks for an opening. A
snake exploits vulnerabilities and it
attacks. Does not matter if you pay
taxes, Democrat or Republican, it
attacks.
That's how Satan is. He is defeated
100%. He's just not retired. His nature
is not passive. His nature is not
lukewarm. Satan is not just there
waiting for you to pick up a Ouija
board.
He's pushing ideas for you to do
something bad.
>> He attacks two ways. He attacks directly
and he attacks indirectly. When he
attacks directly, he attacks through
deception, affliction, and destruction.
When he attacks indirectly, he attacks
through the flesh, through the world,
through the policies, through the
principalities, education, and
entertainment. In the beginning, when
Satan deceived angels, which I I
personally believe, this is my
speculation, that the angels were
deceived by Satan himself to join him on
the quest to rebel against God. If he
was able to take these angels and
convince them that the god that they
serve, the god that they see is not
worthy to be worshiped and that they
could be their own what whatever that he
the lie he sold them and they followed
him and this is not just some one
offended angel because God didn't give
him promotion.
A lot of them join him. We see also he
comes to the garden of Eden and please
understand Eve did not have HBO.
Eve did not have social media that
constantly filtered her with junk and
accusation against God. Eve did not grow
up in a feministic jezebelicdriven woke
culture. Eve was in a perfect world. Eve
did not have a carnal nature. Nothing in
Eve wanted to disobey God. So Eve had no
world to to fight against. And Eve had
no internal passion against God to fight
with. There comes a voice. And at first
this voice says, "Doubt God. Has God
really said?" He convinces her. And then
she begins to obsess with something she
doesn't have. And then he deceives her.
You can be God. See, the devil didn't
seek Eve to worship the devil. The devil
wanted Eve to worship self.
>> Deception of the devil has always been
this. His goal now few crazy wacko and
weirdos are going to worship the devil.
The rest of us are normal people.
>> The lies he will sell us and our culture
is not to worship the devil. It's to
worship you. Is to be God's yourself.
You don't need God. Be independent of
God. And Eve bites of that lie. She
becomes deceived. She sells it right
away to her husband, gives it to her
husband. And next thing it happens, she
redefineses good and evil. And after
that, we are born no longer just having
the devil attacking us directly. We are
born with the flesh collaborating with
the devil to rebel against God. And
because we fill our policies and culture
and education, and because we fill
political offices, evil of men's heart
is reflected in legislation.
Evil of men's heart is reflected in the
curriculum that we give to
kindergartens. So our evil corrupted I'm
against God is now perpetrating the
culture which the Bible calls the world.
And we may look and we was just the
devil. But the Bible says the world lies
under the sway of the wicked one.
Meaning the devil uses the policies, the
entertainment, the school system, the
politics TO PUSH HIS AGENDA. HE GOT A
HELP ON the inside. He has the help in
the government and he is with demons
pushing everything, my friend.
You got you got a problem.
And God looks at this and God comes on
the scene and he gives me a new heart to
fight against the flesh.
>> The devil sends demons. God says, "I
will send the third person of the
trinity
to live inside of every person."
God comes and says, "I will release my
army, my angels to assist you, to
minister to you."
>> The devil sends lies through curriculum.
God sends the spirit field, the sword of
the spirit. Every believer has the word
that renews our mind and changes our
thinking so we don't conform to the
culture. EVERY TRICK THE DEVIL HAS, GOD
HAS A WEAPON against it.
>> So you're not a victim.
You're not drowning.
You're a soldier.
>> Stop being a punching bag for the devil.
You're a fighter. But make no mistake,
you're in war.
Point number three,
and that is spiritual warfare is not us
trying to get victory over the devil.
it it is enforcing Jesus's victory while
waiting for his return to finish the
devil off completely.
Satan is no match for God,
but he's still very active. I'm at war
because I got all these things he's
pushing against me. But I don't fight to
get victory. I fight because Jesus has
getting given me the victory on the
cross. Now the reason why I fight is
because Jesus hasn't come yet second
time. The second time that he comes, he
will finish off the devil.
>> So the second time he will destroy what
Jesus defeated first time.
So people who say that Jesus's cross
completely removed the devil, it is not
true biblically because there's still
the second coming. People who say that
Jesus's cross removed all the curses
from the planet, that's not true because
Revelation says it's at his second
coming there will be no more curse.
People who say, "Yes, it is true. My
flesh was crucified at the cross, but I
still wrestle with it. But I wrestle
with it from the position of victory
that Jesus gave me, looking forward to
his second coming." THIS IS OUR HOPE.
THIS IS THE BLESSED HOPE THE CHURCH HAS.
AND THE BLESSED HOPE IS NOT THAT WE WILL
BE A CHRISTIAN NATION. The blessed hope
is the King of Kings is coming back. He
will finish off the devil. He will
finish off that victory that we are
fighting from today.
>> Can somebody say amen?
>> And the weapons of our warfare because
of that are this. Salvation is a weapon
against the devil because our old man
was crucified and we have new desires.
They overcame him by the blood of the
lamb. The spirit of God is the weapon
against the flesh. We live according to
the flesh. If you live according to the
flesh, you will die. But if by the
spirit you put to death the deeds of the
flesh, you will live. The scripture is
the weapon against the devil. Because
the word of God fights lies, patterns,
and strongholds, and take on the helmet
of salvation, and the sword of the
spirit, which is the word of God.
Singing to God is a weapon, because
worship is a weapon. Out of mouth of
babes and infants, you have established
strength because of your foes, and to
steal the enemy, the avenger. And as
they began to praise and sing, the Lord
set an ambush. 2 Chronicles 20:22.
So as Christians, we're not snowflakes.
We are not prisoners. We are not
victims.
We are not slaves. We are not punching
bags for the devil. We are warriors.
>> Amen.
>> We are soldiers. We engage with the
victory that Jesus has given us. When we
cast out demons, it's not because we're
trying to get a victory over the devil.
It's because we are enforcing the
victory Jesus gave us over the devil.
When we are winning souls and making
disciples, planting churches and going
into schools, it's not because we want
to bring our city to God. God already
owns it. We are bringing the victory of
our God into a region that we are in.
When we are praying for the sick and we
see the sick being healed, it's because
of the victory on the cross that we
enforce on the sickness and the sickness
has to go. But we are aware there is
coming a day WHERE JESUS WILL FINISH OFF
EVERYTHING HE DEFEATED at the cross.
Jesus will destroy the antichrist. Jesus
will DESTROY THE PRINCIPALITIES. JESUS
WILL destroy every curse. JESUS WILL
REMOVE EVERY DEMON and every evil in
this world and give us brand new bodies.
We will no longer have fleshly desires
anymore. Right now we are at war. We
have victory because of the cross and we
have war because he hasn't come second
time. Don't flatten everything into what
happened at the cross. Jesus coming back
to establish what he did at the cross is
not lessening the cross. It is all about
Jesus.
>> So we don't fight for victory.
>> We fight from victory.
>> But the reason why we fight is because
he's coming back again
>> to finish off what he started at the
cross. At the cross it was final. But
the battle rages and we enforce the
victory. Would you rise to your feet? I
want to give you eight declarations that
I want you to say with me right now.
Would you repeat with me out loud and
clear? Those of you watching us on live
stream, you could do that in front of
your computer as well. Say this with me.
Say, "We declare
>> We declare
>> that Jesus disarmed
>> Jesus
>> every ruler and authority
>> every ruler
>> and triumph over them at the cross
>> and triumph over them at the cross.
Satan has no claim on us.
>> Satan has no claim on us.
>> We confess.
>> We confess

>> That Jesus is the stronger man

>> Say, Lord,
>> Lord,
>> crucify in us.
>> Crucify us

>> Belongs to the

>> Take every thought captive. Sweep our
lives clean.
>> Sweep our lives clean.
>> And fill them with you.
>> So nothing else

>> We reject

>> that contradicts God
>> that contradicts God.
>> We remove

>> That's in bed with the devil.
>> We resist you.
>> Enemy enemy.
>> You have no authority here.
We declare

>> clothe us in armor
>> that's already strong
>> put weapons

>> And teach us to stand.
>> Satan,

>> Your time is limited

>> You were defeated at the cross.
>> And you will be fully removed.
>> You will be fully removed.
>> At his coming.
>> We do not fear you.
>> And we do not yield.

The victory is yours.
