Video summary
Spencer Jones explained that his recent performance improvements were primarily driven by necessary adjustments and focused conversations regarding his approach at the plate. He identified specific mechanical issues, such as starting too late in his swing and dropping his hands prematurely, which he addressed by tightening his turns and extending his time tracking the ball. These changes proved effective immediately, allowing him to feel confident that the team successfully implemented the modifications they had discussed prior to the game.
The offensive lineup received significant praise for its collective effort, moving beyond a typical struggle to see contributions from every position. Jones highlighted the clutch nature of the day, pointing out Jazz's game-changing triple as well as the hard-hit balls from Louis and Ramos. He expressed genuine excitement about witnessing so many different players get hits, noting that it is both fun and rewarding to be part of an entire lineup where everyone is hitting the ball with authority rather than relying on a single source of production.
Getting everyday reps in the lineup has made a substantial difference for Jones throughout his third stint this season. The consistency of playing daily allows him to avoid the pitfalls of slumps, as he knows he will be in the lineup the next day even after a couple of difficult games. This stability provides him with the freedom to make on-the-fly adjustments and refine his game continuously, turning what could have been a rough patch into a successful run where he can fully contribute to the team's success.

It was about adjustments for me.
Uh
had some conversations, needed to you
know make some different make some
changes and uh yeah, I was
glad to see that they they worked today
in the things that we we wanted to work
on. So,
yeah.
>> What changes?
>> Uh it was just some stuff where I was
getting started late. Um my hands were
kind of dropping a little bit. So, just
kind of focusing on tightening up those
turns and just letting myself see the
ball as long as possible.
>> It's been a
struggle by and large for the offense.
How how good did it feel to see everyone
kind of contribute today? Both you, you
know, Garcia, Ramos, everyone.
>> I mean, it's awesome. Like I'm rooting
for those guys every time they're out
there and you know, seeing so many guys
get hits. You know, Jazz come through
with the a clutch triple there and then
obviously Louis and Ramos doing their
thing, hitting balls hard and then
usual suspects like Rice and everybody
else hitting the ball hard, too. It's
just fun to be a part of and fun to
contribute in the lineup.
>> This is your third stint of this year.
How much of a difference has it made for
you getting everyday reps?
>> Uh yeah, I think it's been huge just as
far as, you know,
maybe not having a great couple games
and you know, knowing I'm going to be in
the lineup the next day is it's
it's nice and then just being able to
make adjustments on the fly like I said
and have the uh the freedom to do it.
So, it's uh it's been a it's been a good
run.
