Video summary
In this video review, the host Shay Bur 1000 examines a herbal tea product purchased from Temu that is marketed as "Smokerst Tea," likely intended to assist smokers with breathing or cough relief. The packaging indicates that the blend contains twenty tea bags and lists ingredients such as cassia seed, barley, dandelion, licorice, gardenia, orange peel, burdock root, wolfberry, chrysanthemum, and honeysuckle. The product is described as a natural, vegan, caffeine-free infusion without artificial flavors or preservatives, though the host notes some spelling errors on the label, such as "inf a infusion" instead of "an infusion."
Upon preparing the tea, the host observes that one bag puffs up significantly in hot water before steeping for five minutes. The resulting liquid resembles green tea in color but possesses a distinct aroma and flavor profile that he compares to fresh-cut hay that has just been mowed and is beginning to rain on. Despite adding sugar to improve the taste, the host concludes that the beverage still tastes exactly like it smells, leaving him unable to identify any specific herbal notes beyond the overwhelming hay-like quality.
Although the host admits that the tea is not his favorite by any means, he plans to continue drinking some of the remaining cups over the next few days to determine if it provides any medicinal benefits for his cough. He acknowledges that his partner bought the item specifically for him because she knows he smokes and wanted to see if it would help, so he will finish what he can while also considering letting her try it as well. The review concludes with the host mentioning the extreme heatwave currently affecting his area, which has kept him indoors working on vehicle projects rather than engaging in outdoor activities.

Hey everyone, Shay Bur 1000 here today.
We're going to try some tea.
I don't know if I've ever reviewed tea,
but we're going to try this tea
from
Teemoo.
Okay, so
it says smokers t
tea. Now, I don't know if that's
supposed to be smokers tea or
and it's a misspelling
cuz I'm getting into the spelling here
in just a second.
Or if it's actually smokers t tea.
Um so
5 g, there's 20 tea bags in here. It's
herbal supplement, natural, and vegan.
Okay.
Anyway, here's the back. I'll show you
the back here. It's going to be hard to
focus on that, but if you want to try to
pause that and read it,
feel free. But I'll read it to you. It
says
smoking tea presents a inf a infusion.
I hate when people don't know how to
even American English people,
they do the same thing, write that, you
know.
A infusion, no, it's an infusion.
Uh crafted from
hand-picked tea leaves
that weave rich, woody nuances
with velvety depth resulting in a sip
that lingers vividly. Ingredients, it's
got cassia seed
barley, dandelion,
licorice
Yeah, licorice, gardenia,
orange peel,
burdock root, I love burdock root.
Actually, I don't even know what the
hell it is.
Uh
wolfberry, heard of that. Um
chrysanthemum and honeysuckle.
Uh
feature, no artificial flavoring,
no preservatives, naturally
caffeine-free,
no GMO note.
Consult a physician
consult a
physician before
USW. I think it's supposed to be use
U S E use, but use a
if you are pregnant or nursing.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Okay, and this is good. It was
manufactured 6/10/2016,
use by
uh 6/9/2020,
so this lasts a while, a couple years.
Uh
step one,
rub one tea bag in hot water. I'm not
kidding you.
I think it's supposed to be put one tea
bag in hot water, but it says rub one
tea bag.
R U T one T E A B A G all one word. Rub
one tea bag in hot water.
You steep it for 3 to 5 minutes.
Sweeten with
uh honey or
excuse me, lemon
if you prefer. So, it's supposed to be
for smokers to help help smokers breathe
better or or
something like that. So, she's always
thinking of
thinking of me. I got a cough. I went to
the doctor.
She gave me a
uh some medicine.
Well,
we haven't went and got it yet, but
she gave me a prescription
for my cough.
All right, let's get
Okay.
It's
I know she smelled this cuz she works at
the office. You can't tell me, Monkey,
you didn't think this smelled like
It smells like hay, fresh cut hay.
I wish you got
I wish you guys could smell it. Smells
like fresh
There's no
There's no sugar.
I got some sugar here. Uh
I'm going to try it without the sugar
first, of course.
And then
Woah, that bag looks like it's going to
blow up.
I don't know if I can show you guys
that.
>> Someone was detected at your front door.
>> Yeah.
It puffed up.
Woah.
Is it Is it even in infusing any? Is it
a infusion?
Um can't it get in there? All right,
woah.
I'm going to let it steep for 5 minutes.
And then I'll be back with you. We'll
try it, and we'll try it with some
sugar. See what it tastes like.
Okay, guys. So,
it has steeped for 5 minutes.
Looks like a green tea.
Can you see in there very well?
I'm going to put her back over here.
Freaking gnats everywhere.
That time of year.
All right.
And like I said, I didn't add any sugar
yet, of course.
I want to see what it tastes like.
Let's
let's taste this.
All right.
She always tries to get things that help
me out. Uh
So she thought since I smoke, she'd
get me this and give it a try. So we'll
try it.
Uh hang on a second. I got to get a
something to wipe my spoon off.
Okay. Um
Now it smells like fresh cut wet hay
if you've ever smelled that.
Walking past a hay field that's just
been mowed.
Now walk past a hay field that's just
been mowed and started raining. That's
what it smells like.
Um
I've never tasted that, but I can only
imagine that's probably what it would
taste like if you could taste it because
it tastes exactly like it smells. So
I'm going to put me a couple teaspoons
of sugar in here.
And see if I can't get it
to taste any better.
We're supposed to have a storm last
night. It It came.
Uh
Idle time
sent me a text said, "It's coming our
way." And it did. It got here, but it
didn't actually storm storm.
Uh this is what it was doing.
Idle time Whoa, you see that? Idle time
sent me a text
with a picture
of the satellite
images.
He said, "Heads up, bro.
It's coming right your guys's
direction."
And uh yeah, he was right.
It's coming.
So,
uh
that's what it was doing last night.
It kind of passed us. We did get some
rain, but
uh
I'll try this again with a little bit of
sugar.
Okay, so that did help it quite a bit.
It helped it a lot, actually.
So,
um it just
pure cane
granulated sugar there, just regular
sugar.
Um
it did help it. It did help the flavor.
It's still
It tastes It tastes like it smells, only
with sugar.
Um
I mean, she bought it for me, I'll drink
it. You know, see if it helps.
So, I don't know if it's more of a
medicinal thing,
but I will I will drink some of it and
see
over the next couple days if I think
about it, I'll let you know in an
upcoming video or something how
it's doing, but
um not my favorite.
By any means.
But she bought it for me, so I am going
to drink
some of it. I mean, I'll I'll try I'll
try it and see if it helps.
Um
but she did get it for me to see if that
would help, but
I will try it.
Uh you never know, it might it might
help.
Uh
cuz you know, the the Chinese they they
like a lot of tea. They drink a lot of
tea with their food and stuff.
And uh so,
you know,
it is tea.
There's just uh there's there's a hint
of something in there that I can't
place.
Um
but yeah, I'm I'm going to try it. So,
anyway guys, I can't, you know, do much.
You know, we got a heat advisory we've
had every day for past few weeks.
So, I can't get outside and do anything.
I I I need I need to do some work on on
the
on the black Chevy Traverse.
Uh when it cools down and once I get
everything situated, I'm going to get my
garage cleaned out and I'm going to do
some work on the Corvette.
Um
it's got some issues.
So, I'm going to do some work on it. So,
maybe this
this fall we can get it out,
drive it around a little bit, but
so, and I've got some projects I'm want
to do, but they're all involving
outside.
And right now I just can't handle that
heat, you know, it's
90 something. What is it today? We're
supposed to get some storms today, but
it's 92 right now, but it feels like
107.
There you go.
So,
and I stepped out to get her package
that just got dropped off.
It's very hot out.
Um, we've got a high UV index. That's
That's what the uh
That's what the warning's for. Kind of
try to stay out of the sun.
So,
um, yeah.
But anyway, so that's that. So, I
thought, well, I can do this inside in
the air conditioner and and we'll try it
out. I will drink what I can of it. I
don't know how many I can drink, but
that's 20 cups of tea. You want 19. Now,
I will finish this one and I will drink
it
drink
you know, over the next few days I'll
drink some and see how it is. She knows
I like tea, but this was um
This is different. Uh, I think I'll have
her try it too. See what she thinks of
it. She might like it more than me. I
don't know. She likes tea as well. Her
mom likes tea. Maybe her mom will like
it.
But I am going to drink some and and see
if it does help anything, if I can
notice a difference in anything. So,
All right, guys. That's all I got for
you. Thanks for watching. I appreciate
it. Shae Bair, the myth, the man, the
legend. Gone for now. We'll see you guys
in the next one. It's Wednesday, so hump
day.
>> It's hump day.
>> And uh enjoy the rest of your week,
everyone. Bye-bye. We'll see you soon.
>> Hey.
