Video summary

Cameron expressed his immense delight at signing a one-year deal with Bradford City after touring the club and stadium earlier in the day. He was particularly moved by the size of the football organization and what it represents for the local community, noting that there is something special about traditional grounds accustomed to hosting large crowds and creating significant noise. Having played against them numerous times in his past career, he greatly enjoyed the atmosphere during those matches and now looks forward to experiencing it while wearing Bradford City colors as a member of their squad. The primary reason for his decision to join was the strong upward trajectory the club has demonstrated over recent years, which excites him significantly despite missing out on the playoffs last season. Cameron emphasized that success both in terms of competitive achievement and maintaining the stature of a big club must go hand-in-hand, noting that Bradford City currently possesses all necessary elements moving in the right direction with a good group of players. He is eager to contribute immediately to this momentum and help continue their positive progress throughout the upcoming season. As one of two senior goalkeepers alongside John Doyle, Cameron acknowledges the importance of competition within every position at such an established club. Although teammate Sam will be departing, he is excited about working closely with Doyle and pushing each other daily to improve further. He also looks forward to collaborating with experienced coach Colin Doyle, whom he admired during his younger years, as well as integrating young trainees into the group. This competitive environment within goalkeeping is expected to bring out the best in him and foster a culture of continuous improvement among all keepers at the club. Despite missing much of pre-season training due to other commitments, Cameron has been fortunate enough to complete some sessions ahead of time so he can hit the ground running when the first home game arrives on Saturday. He recognizes that joining an age group where many players are new faces presents a unique challenge compared to his usual experience playing with familiar teammates from previous stints in his career. However, he views this as a fresh start and a clean slate that allows him to build relationships quickly while learning how the club and staff operate. Ultimately, he is eager to get straight into work, dive around during training matches, and settle into life at Bradford City before their crucial opening fixture.
