Should a cheating Partner be forgiven or given a Second Chance? This is why..
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The video explores the complex emotional landscape surrounding infidelity, specifically addressing why many women choose to forgive a cheating partner or return to them despite severe betrayal. The discussion highlights that while love and shared history often create a powerful bond where individuals feel they cannot simply leave their "love of life," this does not always equate to restoring trust immediately. Panelists explain that forgiveness is primarily an act done for one's own healing rather than condoning the partner's actions, yet there is a distinct difference between forgiving someone and trusting them again. The decision to go back often stems from deep emotional investment, built business connections, or a fear of losing something valuable, even when friends warn against staying in toxic dynamics where one feels like they are doing all the work while receiving little reciprocation.
A significant portion of the conversation focuses on what it takes to rebuild trust after a breach, emphasizing that grand gestures alone are insufficient and often viewed as manipulative if not backed by consistent behavior over time. The panelists argue that true restoration requires "baby steps," such as daily communication, keeping promises regarding plans like dates or dinners, and demonstrating honesty in small matters before expecting forgiveness for larger issues. They note that many men make the mistake of assuming their apology is enough to reset the relationship clock, whereas women often need a long period of observation to see if the partner has genuinely changed. Key indicators of genuine change include transparency, accountability without excuses, and respecting boundaries rather than making promises they do not keep or canceling plans last minute repeatedly.
The dialogue also addresses the dangerous notion that staying together for the sake of children justifies tolerating disrespect or infidelity. The hosts caution viewers against using kids as an excuse to remain in a broken relationship, noting that raising children in a toxic environment can be more harmful than separation and may even lead the children themselves to want their parents apart eventually. Furthermore, the discussion touches on why people betray those they love, attributing it often to insecurity, jealousy over other women, or the belief that "the grass is greener" elsewhere due to a lack of respect for one's partner. The consensus suggests that while everyone deserves self-respect and peace above all else, giving someone a second chance should be conditional on them earning back trust through sustained effort rather than just asking for it repeatedly without proof of change.
In conclusion, the video advises viewers to prioritize their own mental well-being and self-worth when deciding whether to take a partner back after betrayal. The panelists suggest that one can forgive someone internally to let go of bitterness but still choose not to reintegrate them into their life if they continue to break boundaries or fail to show consistent improvement. They emphasize that rebuilding trust is a lifelong process requiring patience and vigilance, where the betrayed party must ensure they are not being taken advantage of again under the guise of family obligations or past love. Ultimately, the message encourages individuals to seek peace through prayer or reflection, set firm boundaries regarding unacceptable behaviors like lying or cheating with friends, and only allow themselves to be vulnerable in a relationship when their partner has truly demonstrated that they deserve another opportunity.

Welcome back once again. This is our
last segment for the day and we are
having a very amazing discussion here.
Okay. And we're speaking about things
that have been going on probably in the
society to Mayona some examples. But
yeah, I want to get to hear from you and
I have a very amazing panel in the house
with me. So we're going to be discussing
this amazing discussion. Yes. And we are
talking about trust after betrayal.
Someone gets to betray you and breaks
your heart terribly or they do something
against you but still again they come
apologize or do something and again
kiddog kiddogo you guys are back
together. So that is the discussion that
we're going to be having in the house
today. I have two amazing uh
good-looking young ladies in the house.
So, I am first going to allow them to
say hello to us and then from there we
proceed with the amazing discussion that
we have. This is why in the morning here
on Y254 channel and we are on all social
media platforms at Y254 channel. So if
you have something probably you want to
tell us hey kido me take someone back
after they've broken my heart or your
perspective in regards to all that. Make
sure that you tell us p Facebook we're
going to be reading your comments in a
few. So I'm going to start with blessing
because she was here with us in the
morning. Uh so she's going to first say
hello to us. uh we get to hear from her
and then from her we get to hear from
the amazing uh lady that we still we
also have in the house. Good morning.
>> Good morning. Good morning. Good morning
ladies and gentlemen. My good name is
Bessie Blessing. I'm so excited to be
back cuz we are having a fire topic
darling you can't afford to miss.
>> Amazing.
>> Yes.
>> Hi. Um good morning. My name is Paul
Wangro and I'm so glad to be here and
join the discussion today.
>> Amazing. Yes. So like you've seen I'm
here with deir young ladies in the house
and we're speaking about betrayal and
this is in regards to what we've been
seeing online
stories
aro namak diamond how they do things we
also have this guy who was um I'm
forgetting his name this um guy who
>> Kenyan prince
>> yes Kenyan prince and we see different
men with their different ways of
apologizing or showing that they are
still there for women. But one thing
that stands out throughout all those
examples is that the young women still
go back to these young men. Yeah. So
what is really going on? What is the
issue? What is it that uh these men give
after this heartbreak, after this
betrayal?
Hey man, east or west home is the best.
I'm going back because uh CeCe as the
audience, we look at things and we are
like what? [screaming]
I can't take that. I can't allow anyone
to do that to me. But then there they
are.
>> They're still going back. So maybe let's
get to hear from your side what you
think that what is really going on
like the side of the story we know is
not the real or true side of the story.
>> Yeah. So starting me.
>> Yeah. Y
>> first of all I want to say
when you are in love with someone
there's something that
in a relationship I feel like this the
love of my life I don't want to leave
them um we have built a lot maybe
business trust connections now you feel
like ah even though this person I'm in
>> there's so much at stake
>> attraction
So as much as they they are breaking
your trust and I feel like I have to go
back east or west is the best. So I feel
like we ladies sometimes
what these people has done to us
multiple women betray is not treating
you. You are buying him gift gifts but
yeah he's not reciprocating
you doing a lot. It's like you are the
man in the relationship but at the end
of the day you see see other women going
back. Yes.
Yeah.
But she was so with him.
She's not feeling it. The vibe, but
she's just giving him chance. So
>> just just do it cuz you're already here.
Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Just do it. Just just finish up
and go.
>> Yes.
>> Okay. What do you think is the problem
with women
because they just come? And now let's
think about the Kenyan prince scenario
big apology
flowers. Why is it that most of the
times when that happens, these young
women forget about everything else that
this guy ever did and they just accept
the apology?
>> First of all, I think that is um some
cognitive dissonance like this person
has done me wrong, this person has like
everything. But then again like um the
atonement like from like it's it's much
higher. So like um let me excuse his
behavior because at the end of the day
and like
we we're viewing from a other eye like a
a perspective that we don't know like we
are the outsiders. They know how they
love themselves. Uh they love each other
and then at the at the end of the day
these people these two people have
chemistry. These two people have um
history and there is familiarity between
the two of them. Um us we are viewing
from a point of like um to now to now
think critically like how to think um to
think like there is chemistry like we
don't know what's going on behind closed
doors. So I feel like Nivo um with the
case of Nadia Mukami and Arab Boy coming
on stage um during her performance nema
she did like she didn't because she said
that only close friends know that this
was not pre-planned or anything. So I
can feel like she agreed like to
continue with boy because first of all
there was some manipulation there
because he came with a kid and and we
know like Nadia like loves her children
like
your like your issue. So, so yes and I
feel like with the case of Kenyan Prince
from a point of I feel like he did this
big gesture that um Steph saw as like an
atonement and at the end of the day as I
said these people have chemistry these
people have history.
Yeah.
>> Amazing. So that means that
we should not start
>> getting into people's relationships. But
what if
you know
what was done against you? Uh most of
the times when you're in a relationship,
your friends are the ones that see how
this guy is not treating you right, how
he's taking advantage of you. Your
friends are the ones who notice, eh no,
this guy is taking it too far. But most
of the times, uh they always say you can
never advise someone who's in love. And
you find that even if your friends
really try to come and tell you, hey,
this is not right. You feel some people
feel like this person is jealous of you
and all that. But maybe we should always
give um give it give our friends a
benefit of doubt. What if what this
person is saying is true? Cuz at the end
of the day, we find ourselves we've
wasted a lot of investment, a lot of
time on the wrong people, people who
should not even deserve the kind of love
we give. Uh so maybe we can start with
can and when now it's in such kind of a
point can trust really be fully restored
after this person has broken your heart
this person has done all these terrible
things against you and now again
apologize big and you're like wow okay I
think this is genuine can trust really
be restored fully in case of that
blessing
>> uh to me it's hard okay personally to me
it's very hard
when I okay I've never been married but
when I'm in relationship I'm fully there
like I need to update you but
I think
I will just inform you
part of my life
>> yes you part of my life and I want to
involve you in what I do so if I'm doing
that you should reciprocate okay
you're not telling me everything that
you doing maybe oh
There's a video I saw on Tik Tok.
Hey babe, how are you? Uh, I'm at work.
When I'm done, I will get back to you.
Those are 5 seconds.
>> Yeah.
>> Yes. So that's
>> Yeah. Like if you wanted to do that, he
would. Yeah. So I I feel like at the end
of the day
just for me I you can't just break that
trust and come back. What are you coming
to do? The trust that I had
trust me. No they not trust me. The same
same things happen to relationship.
You cheated.
I will never forget like women we never
forget. So
my side
>> that's why it cannot be restored.
>> Yeah. Yeah. No.
>> And what's on your side?
>> Um I think trust can be earned back
because like
first of all if like um you're you're in
your good graces
because at the end of the day
forgiveness is different from trust. So
like when you forgive this person you do
it for your own self and everything. Da
da da. it doesn't mean you trust this
person. So like when you forgive this
person like
bad blood you may hold. So I feel like
um trust can be earned through
demonstrative behavior because first of
all when this person broke your trust
like when this person betrayed you the
thing you asked yourself most is like
how did I miss this? Like this person
like the red flags were there literally
in front of my face. So like how did I
miss this? So like I feel like evaluate
and you come back from like okay accept
because at the end of the day when this
person betrays you like breaks your
trust two things on your hand like you
we talked about grief like there there
was this conversation about grief in the
morning you grieve the person you used
to know and and on the on the other hand
you like you like like question like how
did I miss this? So like I feel like
when you evaluate yourself you forgive
this person and then like this person
like for example for example there is
daily contact like everything everything
for example the same place and
everything this person if if like they
choose to like fix their behavior and
everything. I feel like earn your trust
back but it take a while like it will
take a long while because at the end of
the day this person has betrayed you
already. So like
okay yeah I didn't see this coming but
then again okay I saw this coming like
surprise because you've done this
before. So yeah I feel like trust can be
earned back through demonstrative like
behavior
>> but it needs a lot of time.
>> Yeah and a lot of work. Amazing because
I feel like um like you said, we forgive
people for ourselves. Like we don't
forgive them because of anything else or
because of them. We forgive you because
of ourselves. But then after we done
forgiving you and then I look at you and
I see that every you've you you're
working towards building up on this
relationship. You're working towards
seeing that everything is working out.
Then at that moment um I would trust you
again. Actually for women it's very easy
to trust someone back especially if they
really bring back the person that you
used to because like she said at times
you grieve the person you used to know
but if that person comes back that is
the person you fell in love with so it's
very easy for you to get back uh to
that. So maybe what does betrayal look
for you? Um what is that thing that
someone would do to you and you feel
like you can never take it or you can
it's very difficult for you to even
think of forgiving them. What is that
terrible thing that you you just sit
down and imagine and you're like if
anyone dares do this to me I will never
ever ever forgive them. Blessing
>> uh infidelity first of all
>> I'm sorry
you it was just a a time it was just for
the moment.
>> No no no infidelity you go especially
when you cheat with my friend like
I know.
I saw I saw a certain video on Tik Tok.
The way a man betrayed the girlfriend
best friend. Why did you take my best
friend? You have been talking about this
for your best friend. And I felt like
she's the one who I needed to be with.
I'm like,
"Oh, babe, I'm so sorry. I was wrong.
Go. [laughter]
>> Yeah. Yeah. So one thing is infidelity
and another thingocray
like if I buy you gift Liza
>> buy me gift.
>> Finally someone has spoken about it. Do
you know [clears throat]
>> I Hey y you you I am carrying a gift
box. I am bringing to you and you're
picking it and you're empty-handed.
Shame on you. Yes.
>> Finally, someone is speaking about that
Australia like
>> and it's not that we do it so that you
can do it. No, but most of the times
people love you
>> with their love language. So what you
see me doing most of the times do it to
me because that is what I also expect
you to do.
That's
>> and they say women are not are not easy
people like women are difficult it's the
easy things actually
>> yeah actually and you know what I do
most of the times do I love talking to
you then I expect you to talk to me
because that is what I enjoy doing if I
love um and we always hint
that looks nice I have already told you
that that is what I want why do you
again come saying that we are difficult
we are not Yes. So that's my second
point
just to buy something else.
Something sweet. So anyone can eat
chocolate.
That's the second thing. Another thing,
communication. What are we doing in
relationship if you're not communicating
well? Communication is the backbone is
the foundation of relationship. But if
you babe, what are we doing?
>> Good morning. Good evening.
>> Good night.
>> Yeah. [laughter]
What's What's going on? What's going on?
So if there's no communication
like communication is not very
important.
>> Yes. If communication is not good in
relationship
to to time next. Yeah.
>> Amazing. And what uh does betrayal look
for uh for you?
>> For me it's two things. Two things that
if you cross on my book like we're done
done.
>> The first one is cheating. We can never
come back from cheating. No matter how
you sugar it, no matter the kind of
history we have, no matter the
chemistry. Yes, it's a new like, oh, I
loved you and everything, but um I
respect myself more to know like I
should look away from this like because
I'm disrespected. So, first of all, if
you cheat out the door because we're not
doing that over here. The second one,
and this one is something that I usually
insist on, lying. I hate a liar because
like small small gather up a big thing
issues
like like you know it's the small small
things that build up to like betray or
like feel comfortable in our
relationship.
and lying
for me.
A big lie like a big
tell me a lie or like you like not tell
me yeah don't you don't tell me the
truth. So I feel like those are two
things I cannot I can't come back I
can't come back from because
you're lying,
you know, usually in like I cannot beat
you if you come and tell me this and
this and this.
And then like we see how
>> at the end of the day it's good that you
are honest and you said the truth
>> and that's where communication now comes
in okay now how do we move forward from
this because
so I feel like communication lying not
lying they go like this yeah
>> and again keeping your promises like
The moment you promise I am expect
hotel.
You haven't done anything and you
promised me,
bro. Like, no.
I at least
tell me
what
that's a big problem with men especially
because they always feel like if I tell
you I don't have money, you're going to
see me as a lesser person. And that's
where they uh make a very big mistake
because if you said you're taking me out
on Saturday then the whole of Friday
what do I wear?
>> Yeah.
>> I went did my hair and everything did my
nails are now I'm there expecting
everyone else that wanted to book me on
Saturday. No guys I am not available
expecting to go out with you. You're not
saying anything. notating,
you're not
2 days later, you know, bro.
>> Yeah. And this is something that very
many people, women love. As long as
you've told me,
>> yeah,
>> okay, we had these plans, but I think
I'm going to cancel because of ABCD.
I'll understand. It's it's not the best,
but this is life. But you know they
don't like every
uphold your promises. You can imagine
last month
after weeks
it comes to a point you're like okay
sour. So as long as it doesn't build up
to like something you usually do or a
behavior or a pattern like make it one
time thing, two time thing
[laughter]
do it once and we forgive you. do it the
next time and
you know women and probably I would be
wrong they will say on their side but as
a woman if for example you had planned
that you're going out and this man tells
you man
I don't have a problem with telling you
all right I'll just sort it out let's
just go I'll handle the bill but I'm not
saying that this is what you do every
time but in case you're genuine and you
really wanted to go probably may buy
ticket you guys are going to watch a
movie and that is the only time it's
going to be played you know so
s suddenly
and everything
and all that I would be like all right
we'll go with my car if your car is has
some problems you see and that's not to
to show that you do this every time
you know excuses not really but what I'm
saying is that women don't have a with
stepping up and helping you when they
can't do it, I'm going to go off and go
silent. That's the worst
>> way. Yeah. It's the worst mistake you
can make because
>> we interpret that differently. You're
like, "Oh, so you were never serious. So
all this was just a joke for you."
That's how we think about that when it
comes to you not keeping your promise.
>> Yeah. Uh another question is why do
people betray those they love?
>> Someone would uh do something and they
come saying okay I love you you know it
was a mistake it was I will never do it.
But bro if you love someone then you
should really uh have them in mind and
be very uh careful not to hurt them but
most of the times people get to hurt
people that they love. Why is it that
way?
>> Uh sometimes I think it's a petty
things.
You have a very beautiful
beautiful girl.
Everybody want to is just turning and
like oh she is so pretty and then when I
feel like that person cheated on that
lady like what's going on? So I feel
sometimes like she's now so in love with
me even if I do whatever I want to do
that she can't leave me. And
And we live
relationship when we are still in
relationship. Yeah.
The guy thinks they're still together,
but you've already moved on.
>> Yes.
broken relationship
updation.
So I think sometimes uh the the the main
reason why one feeling like they add the
people they love feel like and
>> for you and Ju
>> I feel like it's the notion that grass
is always greener on the other side you
know like oh I have pulled one beautiful
lady I have I can do this somewhere else
like I'm getting I'm getting this here I
can like
say for example relationship I'm fully
I like
so I feel like and then the lack of
consideration and lack of respect
because you can't do that to your
partner if like is usually never enough
in a relationship like respect respect
love trust those are things that build a
strong foundation in a relationship so I
feel like not considering your partner,
excuse [clears throat]
and like not not respecting like
disrespecting your partner. So I feel
like those are the the things that makes
someone a a man like
betray their trusted their their partner
in a relationship.
>> Yeah.
>> And most of the times when uh betrayal
happens does it always mean that the
relationship has to end? when it comes
to uh betrayal, am I on a levels of this
level kido we can forgive but this one
we cannot forgive does um does it always
mean that as they've betrayed me we are
done
>> according to me when you betray me first
I I'll stay cuz I love you I've been
investing on this person so to just move
out
relationship just immediately promptly
no that will not happen but I will live.
I will live. I will live. And again
like you're not doing communicating
well. You're not doing what you're
supposed to do.
Like you love this person so hard and so
bad. Like you you don't feel like
leaving them. Feel like they're the love
of your life. You get married, have
kids, you have future together. But
this is not what I want to settle for. I
deserve more better things. Yes.
>> Amazing. When we were speaking about
trust and if it can really be rebuilt,
you said that it needs it's a process
and it needs time so that it can be
rebuilt. So probably what are some other
things that are needed for you to fully
rebuild trust that was broken again?
>> I feel like redemption and atonement
or I am the I'm sorry any the whole the
whole shabam. I feel like the mistake
Steph did was to immediately go back
into that relationship. I feel like that
will would have been um okay not the
grand gestures every time but I feel
like that will be many of the baby steps
that he would have taken to like win
Steph back instead of like okay because
in the mind of this man now he knows
anytime
and I do a grand gesture you'll just
come back running to me and as we've
said when you break someone's trust it
takes like time to build or earn that
trust back
She's she's in there for the material
things, sorry to say, but Kenyan prince
has not earned her trust fully yet. So I
feel like take baby steps like okay
the next day let me take you out for
lunch like in a like
atone atone fully for for for
whatever you did. And then to answer
your question, I feel like there is
levels of
walk.
I feel like this this
walk away from
this one small things like not big
things. For example,
today I was not available for the date
and everything. communicate that is not
something like walk away from because
that's not something you walk away from.
I feel like
you give as a warning like first strike,
second strike, third strike
out.
>> Amazing. And blessing. How long should
someone take to uh for the healing to
happen?
>> Cuz at times relationship and then
someone is like see I thought you
forgave me. Why are you not doing this?
Probably this person wants you to get
back uh to intimacy and such kinds of
things because you said you forgiven me.
I already said I'm sorry, but how long
should someone take for them to heal
from a betrayal that someone did to
them?
>> Okay.
>> Now, I think it's um after probably well
the the person is back, but we said that
trust needs to be earned. So, I am still
now being careful with you. But now the
guy expects everything to be back to
normal just because he already said
sorry. I think on my new so make me fall
in love with you again. Just let's redo
it again. So if if if you you used to
bring me some goodies if you used to
pump me with love sometimes some kind of
letter chocolate letter popcorns.
>> This lady loves chocolate. [laughter]
Hey,
>> for me make me feel like you hold my my
my trust like I can just be free to call
you my love to call you this person that
I love but to to then you expecting me
to to be all over you all of a sudden no
it doesn't work like that when you you
add me and when you take the trust that
trust must be unpack make sure that you
have done something
no it doesn't work like that
>> and for you what are some of the actions
that really matter um in the process of
rebuilding the trust after betrayal
>> I feel like
because then again remember okay we're
talking from a point of
right um I've already forgiven you but
I walked away from that relationship I
had already detached as blessing said
relationship so like clock out before
actually clock out so like
relationship it's not that we are
picking up from where we left we left
from you know like
you used to cut me back then cut me
again like date me again so that like
Okay. Okay. Sour. That that should never
be repeated again. And if it does, but I
don't think I don't think I can I can
actually go back to that relationship
like okay maybe maybe trust from a point
of we the ones like we are homies we are
like friends and everything but
relationship after you did all that
clock out already. I feel like it will
take a mountain to move. Yeah. And which
is not possible for me. I think I think
sometimes
you feel like you have to go back.
>> But then again, you know, sometimes
women take a lot of, okay, we give men
the benefit of the doubt and everything,
but they're the ones really benefiting
from this doubt. Yeah. Yeah. I take all
this like nonsense from this man because
in the in the grounds of we have a
family. That should never be the cause
that you're forgiving someone because
you have a family.
>> Because when he was betraying you,
didn't he know? didn't consider you.
So that should not be a point of let me
I trust you. Let me forgive you that
quick because we have kids. No, we're
coming at a point of we were two people
who are in love. We were two people who
trusted each other because you said a
relationship cannot be solely built on
love alone. So you you you broke my
trust, you disrespected me, you like
didn't consider me, you like all these
things. So I don't think like at because
you have a family I should excuse your
behavior because you didn't consider me
when you were doing that.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Blessing
[laughter]
like
>> because at the end of the day I I
usually see most of the women they can
>> that's what they do but it's wrong.
That's not what you should do. they
don't consider how they feel the
disrespect they went through just
because
they with this man but I'm there for my
kids I want my kids to grow with the
father I don't want them to grow with a
single mother I'm like
>> and that person will still hurt you
again and again and again that is the
problem
>> I have actually encountered people like
some of my friends um who have given me
stories like this and they were like
their mom tolerated that marriage
because of the kids but then again the
kids want the parents to separate
because now it's become too toxic. So
like you say, you're doing it for the
kids, but the kids are saying, "Okay,
this is not like good." And that is
where your point comes in. Like you can
be in a relationship with someone, but
from a from another perspective, like an
outsider, they're like, "Um, these two
people are not good for each other.
These people is not working anymore."
>> So like don't ever like be there for the
I'm doing this for the kids. That should
not be should not excuse any sort of
disrespect or like trust broken.
>> Yeah.
>> That takes us to our other question. Is
everyone or does everyone deserve second
chances?
Um what are the qualifications of
someone who deserves a second chance and
someone who does not? Blessing. I feel
like uh how first of all are you
apologizing
or if especially when you apologize when
you say if
>> if you saying I did it
I'm sorry
apology
like
first of all that apology and
>> I asked does everyone One deserves
second chances. Who deserves a second
chance?
>> Yes.
I will forgive you.
change. No, these people man
the same thing.
weeks. It doesn't work like that. So,
yes, I can give you a second chance, but
after
your second
9 10 12
promise you made
you know I I will go back to be single.
>> Yeah. And actually something else that
people should really know is that you
can forgive somebody and let them go.
>> You don't have actually like uh Wu said,
you're forgiving people for yourself.
You're not forgiving people for them.
Because um unforgiveness, someone said
is like taking poison and expecting
someone else to die. That's what
unforgiveness looks like. So when I
forgive you or when you're forgiving
someone, you're forgiving them for your
heart to heal, for you to be okay. But I
can forgive you and let you go because
at times um some things make people
>> get disrespected. Yeah. Like my self
worth is being crushed just because I
have forgiven you and it's not worth it
at all. Yeah. So as we get to wind up,
how should someone forgive people while
still or probably take someone back but
still hold on to their selfrespect?
Uh we can start with you.
Um it's it's how can I forgive someone
and then like I hold on to my
selfrespect.
>> Yes. Like because at uh now this is in
regards to you've forgiven him and
you've brought him back. You you're back
in a relationship together but now you
want to really you learned from what he
did and you're like okay so this and
this and this and this is what he did.
So I have to respect myself in regards
to all these. So like how should how
would you accept someone back but still
hold on to your selfrespect?
>> I think I think I'll conquer what you
had said earlier. I can forgive you but
it doesn't mean I have to take you back.
Yeah. Because I feel like I'm one of
those people who is very cautious with
who I let in like in my life and in my
circle and in everything. And if you
hurt me once, trust you will hurt me
again. That's what I think. But then
again it doesn't mean like I have a
grudge towards you like I have I have
forgiven and let let you go. So I feel
like by letting you go that's how I hold
myself respect because in like the way I
think is if I take you back
by the way respect
so I feel like by taking you back first
of all I would have disrespected myself
disrespected my feelings for how I felt
for how you had hurt me and all that. So
you feel like forgive but stay away from
my circle or my life and everything. So
by not let taking you back is how I
uphold myself respect person personally
my personal opinion. Yeah.
>> Okay. Amazing. Uh blessing. What's your
perspective?
>> Boundaries matters a lot. Yes.
So
to come up with this plan,
I don't like when you do this and this
and that. I don't like when you pick at
night. I don't like when you sneak um to
go and party with friends. Just let me
know you're going out.
We all grownups.
So boundaries will matter a lot. You are
still breaking those boundaries.
Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Amazing. We're speaking about uh taking
how to uh go on when someone betrays
you, how do you get to trust them again?
That is the discussion that we have been
having here. And like what we're seeing
is even if I am taking you back, even if
I am giving you a chance and trusting
you again, it still needs you to I still
need you to do something like I still
need you to um show me that you are
worth me trusting you again. And it's a
process. It takes a a lifelong process
for someone to get to trust you. And as
we wind up probably we can take the last
question uh here. What are some of the
signs that someone has not really
changed? Cuz most of the times people
say I will change. I promise you that is
the last time. I am not going to do it
again. And then when you give them the
second chance they were asking for do
you know there are people who ask for
second chances almost 10 times. The last
chance babe I will not do it again. Yeah
[laughter]
I think taking full responsibility.
So just come.
It's now you and me to the world. That
fun thing. Exchanging changing the
behavior
spoken to you about make sure that you
change.
I will consider number three being
honest and transparent.
I will do something
communicate just be open and honest with
me. Next give giving the heart time
expectation.
And last but not least, open
communication.
We keep this relationship
will have kids in future.
Sounicunication really matters and I
think
emotional
>> [laughter]
>> It reminds you of some some things.
>> It's a very sensitive topic and I think
that's how I can [laughter]
>> Yeah.
>> All right. Um before we get to hear from
Wiru and her last remarks p Facebook,
do you believe in second chances? Amma,
can you forgive a cheating partner and
why? And so I have seen some of the
reactions. I'll just uh take a few
because of time. I see Dark Moon saying
no room for an honest
an honest like when you see honest man
never on earth. If you're not honest
then
it's a no. I see Zen Hong Kagawa saying
cheating is a choice not a mistake which
is based on unsatisfactory needs or
facts. I guess one should stay where he
or she thought the need were satisfied.
Okay.
Cheese is saying no room for that.
We are not doing this anymore.
I have seen you. All right. Weru in one
minute probably. What is your advice to
someone watching in regards to the
discussion that we have had?
>> First of all, I would say
forgive them. and just forgive them.
Because um when you hold that grudge in
your heart
because just by them existing
you know like
it's it's away at your inner peace like
with yourself like like just at times
it's hard to forgive someone like it's
really hard but you really have to
forgive them but then again it doesn't
mean like at this person has the right
now to come back in your life and walk
all over you again. So I can say like
when you forgive them be cautious about
letting them back in your life or like
trusting them again because at the end
of the day we said we had said that if
you if you want this person back in your
life if it's one of those people like
you want back in your life make them
earn that trust back because don't don't
expect don't and don't don't think that
just because they have done something
today ah
it takes steps baby steps
and then this person does the same thing
again and again and again like you
should read the patterns
like you're now cautious your walls are
up yes but they're still in your life so
like so patterns no joy um if if they if
they messing up or like if they are
truly owning up to their actions for you
to forgive them and fully be able to
trust them again.
>> Amazing. That's a very uh good advice to
the person watching. So make sure that
if you're in such a situation,
let them
do they really want you back? They
should do it so that you can be very
convinced and fully convinced that this
person is actually serious when they say
that they want you back in the
relationship. Blessing, what's your last
advice in one minute?
>> I want to say that your peace comes
first and you matters a lot. Uh don't be
convinced by people how
you feel like you can't live with those
people. Jesus Christ loves you so much.
And I feel like when you're going in a
situation whereby lose trust anyone, I
think you can talk to God. Just pray.
direct
you to sometimes
in certain relationships like we even
don't know how to go about them
we were I feel like
what should I do and again you know when
you praying
I feel like
and
your purpose in life. So make sure that
you pray and make sure that you consult
God in in every relationship that you
get and remember your peace come first.
Just be that sharp girl and be thank you
so much for watching my best blessing. I
think this is see you in the see you
