I'm Hans Frederickson and I'm a senior [music] geospatial developer in the information technology branch under data and GIS [music] here at CalOES. >> [snorts] >> We take a lot of information and we give it to leadership [music] and other personnel to make decisions on. This could be steady [music] state or incident specific. We work in response, planning, recovery, mitigation, [music] all facets of CalOES. So I kind of have military background. I spent five years in the Marine Corps and I thought that CalOES really gave me that opportunity [music] to actually be a public servant taking care of them, helping prevent disasters from [music] impacting our population. Really proud of the work that I do at CalOES because a lot of it is [music] turning information into action.
