दिल्ली:शिक्षा मंत्रालय घेरने निकले SFI कार्यकर्ता,छात्रों ने तोड़े पुलिस बैरिकेड
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
Student organizations in India, led by the Student Federation of India (SFI), have launched a significant protest in Delhi demanding the immediate resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The demonstrators argue that the government is directly responsible for a rising crisis of student suicides, citing over ten recent cases and accusing the administration of failing to address the root causes. Central to their grievance is the alleged massive leakage of examination papers for major tests like NEET and CBSE, which they claim has occurred hundreds of times since the formation of the National Testing Agency (NTA). They contend that these leaks have led to re-exams and severe distress among students, yet the minister refuses to accept accountability or step down.
The protest escalated when SFI cadres marched toward the Ministry of Education after being blocked by police barricades outside Mata Sundari College. Despite initial attempts by Delhi Police to stop them using tear gas and physical barriers, student activists managed to break through multiple layers of security and advance toward the ministry. The police eventually relented under pressure, allowing a delegation of student leaders to enter the premises to meet with officials. However, the students expressed deep frustration that their demands were not fully met during this meeting, leading them to sit on the hot Delhi roads in protest. They warned that if they are not granted an audience or if their demands are ignored, they will resume their march and target the office of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) instead.
The core argument presented by the protesters is that the education policy itself is flawed and complicit in the tragedy affecting students across the nation. They assert that the leak mafia is so entrenched within the Ministry of Education and the NTA that it operates with collusion, rendering security measures ineffective. The SFI leadership emphasizes that banning apps like Telegram does not solve the problem and insists that the minister must resign to stop the cycle of leaks and suicides. They view the government's refusal to remove Dharmendra Pradhan despite nationwide student demands as a sign of stubbornness backed by political forces like the BJP and RSS, which they believe are prioritizing political interests over the safety and rights of millions of students.
In conclusion, the movement remains active with a clear ultimatum: the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan is non-negotiable for the student federation. The protesters have demonstrated their resolve by physically overcoming police obstacles and enduring harsh conditions to deliver their message. They have stated that if their leadership cannot secure a meaningful meeting or resolution at the ministry, they will shift their focus to holding the ruling party accountable directly. The situation highlights a deepening conflict between student activists who demand systemic change and a government accused of ignoring the human cost of its educational policies, with the potential for further escalation looming if the minister does not resign as demanded.

Principal resign,
resign, resign, the
leak will not work, it will not work, it will not work,
stop the leak,
stop it,
stop the leak,
stop it, stop it,
more than 10 students have committed suicide.
Who is responsible for this suicide?
Our country's government is responsible for this suicide. The
policy of the country's government is
education policy.
A new record
of student suicide is being created in the country. On one hand the government is
making records in paper leak. On one hand, the
suicide rate of students in the country is so high
that it is reaching a record level.
Hello, welcome to the news.
As you know, for the last one month,
different student organizations and students in different parts of the country have been
demanding the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. The way
every single paper, be it NEET or
CBSE paper, is getting leaked, there are irregularities in it,
the way different question papers are getting leaked.
Demonstrations are being held regarding all of them. We
saw it at Jantar Mantar. Apart from this, today
in the country's capital Delhi, after a 10-day
ultimatum, the Student Federation of India had
demanded the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan
and had said that if he did not resign, they would surround him.
So they are going to gather near Surjeet Bhawan HKS Mata
Sundari College and
surround the Education Minister. The police have
clearly told them that if they
go further, action will be taken. We will have to see
how far they can reach. The outside police are
just deployed all around. So we will
talk to these leaders and show you what the future outline of this movement will be.
Where will you people go next? What
is the plan for today? Look, our SFI had
already called that we
will surround the Ministry of Education and
we have already set out to surround it
and are demanding the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan.
We are going ahead to demand that Dharmendra Pradhan, the Education Minister, be held responsible for the death of the 11 NEET students.
Pradhan resign,
resign, paper leak will not work, it will not work, it will not work,
see this, the first layer of police
barricade has been put up just in front of Mata Sundari College
and it has to be seen whether the students are able to
break it and move ahead or not,
many similar layers of barricades have been made ahead of this also
where the students
can be stopped and these SFI leaders who are
ahead in the national leadership, and this is the first
barricade, a lot of pushing and shoving has
started, see, they are not able to break it and move ahead, the
police and the students are face to face. They
believe that today they have to surround Dharmendra Pradhan. The
police will have to let them go ahead.
Look at this, how the students have broken the first layer of security which was of the
police and are
moving ahead. However, the police are
trying to stop them here. Police
and students are face to face. We will see
what the way forward is.
Canon has been arranged.
What is the way forward for him? Because the student SFI
Student Federation had already announced it.
Dharmendra Pradhan will have to resign today under any circumstances.
What are your plans for the future?
Our next plan is to go to the Ministry of
Education and
show it to Dharmendra Pradhan. How violent the activities of the government are
for the students of this country.
And we SFI have broken the first barricade today
[cheers],
we want to go, we
can also go towards Jantar Mantar in a peaceful manner.
Today we had a program to surround the Education Ministry
and since morning our
SFI cadres started gathering.
Senior officials of Delhi Police came to our office
and said that we will not let you people come
out of your office. But
all the revolutionary comrades of SFI came
out of our office. We started the march and
after starting the march, Delhi Police
tried to stop us by putting up barricades.
But our SFI comrades
broke the barricades and moved ahead.
After that there was another barricade, we
broke that too and moved ahead. Then under the pressure of SFI,
Delhi Police came and
said that we will take a delegation of yours to the Ministry of Education.
Our Education Minister is in charge of the Ministry of Education.
We will introduce you to his Chief Secretary. Whatever
petition you have brought, please give it to them.
Then these people came under pressure and took away our delegation.
Our SFI leadership has gone there.
If he doesn't let me meet him now.
Right now our protest is going on here.
If our SFI leaders are not brought together on time,
we will start the march again
and this time the march will not be towards the Ministry.
This time our march will be
towards the BJP office. Because this is the whole
game. It is working at the behest of Bharatiya Janata Party and
RSS. The
government feels that by banning the Telegram app,
we will send a message to the country that we are making many
improvements. But this is
not going to change anything. Because the
leak mafia is very strong. That is why,
despite all the deployments, if the paper
is getting leaked, it means that the paper is getting leaked only due to the collusion of
people associated with the Ministry of Education and the people of NTA. The
policy of the country's government is the education
policy, it is responsible for it. The country's education
minister is responsible. Ever since the NT agency was
formed, out of all the exams conducted by this agency
, the paper has been leaked 89 times
and they have conducted re-exams 48 times. Till date, the
Education Minister has not
said that it is his responsibility for the paper leak that led to these suicides. Sometimes
they
want to get rid of their responsibilities. We want to say that
you should take responsibility. Please resign from your post.
If the Education Minister does
not resign,
SFI will go among the students across the country and
create a strong movement. Right now our
stand is that
if our leadership, our
colleagues, our leadership do not meet the
Chief Secretary of the Ministry or the Ministry during the ongoing protest,
then we will do
something towards the BJP office. Therefore this NTA will have to be
dismissed. Dharmendra Pradhan will have to
resign.
SFI had a national call with this demand. There was a protest today
and the police put up barricades. Yet our
comrades have jumped over that barricade and taken
this movement forward. It has
given a message to the country that we are
not going to stop. We are not going to bow down to this government
and will take resignation.
As you saw, the way SFI came out
marching first. Even the police
tried to stop them, they
came forward breaking the barricades and finally when the police
assured them that their
delegation would be made to meet the Education Minister, only then
they sat on the road
and you can imagine that in this scorching
heat of Delhi,
students are sitting on the roads.
They clearly say that if
they do not get to meet the Education Minister and their
demands do not reach the right place, then they will
start the march once again.
However, this generally does not happen
because if someone goes to the ministry, there must be some
officer or the other. The senior officer will
take the memorandum of demands from them and after this these
[nasal voice] people are also students,
this agitation will end from here and they will
return to their homes. This is a
big question as there is a
demand for the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan across the country. What is the
stubbornness that the government is
holding on to and what is it that
BJP is so obsessed with Dharmendra Pradhan that it is
unable to remove him when lakhs of
students across the country are making only one demand which is the
resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. That's all for now,
stay tuned, thank you very much for the news.
