[music] >> Good morning and welcome to JSA TV where we're live in sunny Texas for Data Cloud USA covering the stories, trends and innovations of digital infrastructure leaders. This morning I have Matt Riley, senior vice president of global sales for LightRiver with me. Matt, good morning. >> How are you doing? >> I'm doing wonderful. Thank you. All right, so what recent company news, milestones or innovations are you excited about today? >> Oh, it's been a really big year for LightRiver. Uh, as most of you probably know, we moved from our California office to a Texas office this year and that move is finally completely un underway. Uh, we have everything up and running and we've been building systems out of there for several months now. Uh, with that we have grown pretty substantially this year both in head count and in revenue. And uh, we don't see a stop. We have multiple open positions and we're just firing on all cylinders. Uh, with that also we introduced a new software at the very end of last year and we already have four customers on it. >> Wow. >> And the rate of innovation that our software team is delivering to our clients is just truly astounding. >> Amazing. Okay, so you're a Texan now, right? >> Officially. >> [laughter] >> Love it. All right, so how is AI changing the digital infrastructure or how it's being built? >> Uh, the biggest thing we're seeing is the amount of capacity that these data centers are gaining. Uh, not too long ago, you know, putting up 20 or 30 terabits between data centers just seemed like an astronomical number and current projects we have on ongoing now are putting up multi-rail uh, hundreds of terabits at a time between data centers. Um, we also think that as they start bridging data center training across uh, sites that those numbers are going to explode even further. So, we are seeing massive amounts of fiber, the density of traffic on fiber is going up, and the density of fiber going into the ground to support these data centers. It's just massive. >> Wow, it's a good problem to have there, right? >> Very nice problem to have. >> [laughter] >> It's a good time to be in the industry. >> Yes, for sure. Uh all right, so last question is in one word, define the future of digital infrastructure. >> I think as we look back on this time, uh the thing we're all going to look at it and remember is scale. >> Scale. >> I think we're in a massive scaling up of digital infrastructure right now. And uh it's a challenge for all of the suppliers, all the way down to raw materials, to keep up with it. I think scale is the thing we're all doing. >> Very good. Very good point, and a new one.
