Video summary
The speaker expresses profound shock and disbelief that Sami Zayn has become a two-time WWE Undisputed Champion, a feat they never anticipated at the beginning of the year. Initially, the idea seemed so improbable that the narrator would have dismissed anyone suggesting it as insane or off their medicine. However, after witnessing Sami defeat CM Punk on Smackdown in Mexico City, the reality has set in, leaving the speaker speechless and acknowledging that the storyline took a turn no one predicted. The match itself was filled with chaos and unexpected twists, starting early when CM Punk attacked Sami's knee, which became a focal point for the bout as it hindered Sami's ability to hit his signature GTS move.
As the match progressed, several key distractions unfolded that ultimately led to the victory. Johnny Gargano entered the scene with Candace LeRae to demand a title shot, creating enough chaos for CM Punk to eliminate Johnny with a GTS while he was in a plank position. Shortly after, Kevin Owens interfered by attempting to hit Sami with the championship belt but accidentally struck CM Punk instead. Seizing the opportunity, Sami delivered a low blow to Owens, threw the title out of the ring, and executed a Hoover Kick on CM Punk near the turnbuckle to secure the pinfall. The narrator found humor in Johnny Gargano returning to his plank pose immediately after being hit with the GTS, noting that despite the changes in the storyline, some character traits remain consistent.
The outcome has set up a complex web of future storylines involving multiple high-profile wrestlers. Randy Orton made it clear that he will pursue the number one contender's spot regardless of who wins, while Cody Rhodes is expected to interfere and likely cost Orton the match due to their ongoing feud. Additionally, CM Punk will seek revenge against Kevin Owens, and Johnny Gargano will push for his title opportunity since he helped Sami regain the championship. The narrator appreciates this unpredictability, noting that it makes Smackdown feel special and keeps viewers engaged by showing that titles can change hands unexpectedly on regular television rather than just during major events.
Despite some fans potentially being upset with the sudden switch-up, the speaker has no issues with Sami Zayn's victory because he portrays a compelling delusional heel who is now forced to dodge opponents instead of seeking them out. The narrator wonders if WWE might apply similar unpredictability to other titleholders like Penta and Roman Reigns, though they doubt it will happen soon. Overall, the speaker is excited about the direction the show is taking, particularly the upcoming "Crash Out" between CM Punk and Kevin Owens, and encourages viewers to share their own opinions on whether they support Sami Zayn's reign as a two-time champion.

I'm not going to lie to you guys. I
can't even do my normal intro that I
usually do on my videos because I'm
still kind of in shock right now.
If you would have told me at the
beginning of this year that Sami Zayn
would be a twotime
WWE champion.
First, I would have looked at you as if
you were insane, a mad man. I wouldn't
have believed you at all. I would have
been like, "How would he be a twotime?"
He would have had to have won it at
least once. Sammy's not winning no WWE
Championship, the undisputed WWE
Championship once,
let alone twice in the same year. I
wouldn't have believed you. I would have
thought you were truly off your
medicine.
But the fact
that he just won tonight against CM Punk
on Smackdown,
not a PL on Smackdown.
I I'm still speechless.
I honestly did not think this was going
to happen.
I figured there was going to be some
shenanigans,
but I did not think the shenanigans
would actually go in Sammy's favor.
We got to talk about how this all
transpired cuz this is obviously going
to be talk of the town. So,
we got our match. Sammy's fired up. He
wants to get at CM Punk. And they start
the match. And early in the match, like
really right at the beginning, CM Punk
start hitting him with a flurry of
punches. He gets up on the second rope,
start hitting him with multiple punches.
And as he jumps down, he tweaks his
knee. And that's pretty much the focus
for Sammy the entire match, attacking
his knee. How is he going to be able to
hit the GTS if his knee is not at 100%.
So essentially he tweaked his knee and
Sammy focuses on that solid back and
forth crowd in Mexico City. They were
fantastic as I expected them to be. So
we get towards the end where you know
the shenanigans are going to transpire
before the match.
Johnny Gargano who's not planking no
more. Thank goodness. Johnny comes out
there with Candace and he's like, "Hey
man, when you go out there and beat CM
Punk, I want an I want I want a first
shot at the title. First crack at the
title." And Sammy hesitated. He's like,
"Hey, man. Let me get through this
first." No. Johnny's like, "No,
I want first dibs at the title." And
Sam's like, "Okay."
So
Johnny Gargano comes out there with
Candace Candace Laray and basically he
causes a distraction. CM Punk is trying
to deal with that. Then on the other
side Candace Laray has the referee's
attention. So there's a lot going on,
but ultimately CM Punk dispatches
Johnny, hits him with a GTS. And I found
this so [ __ ] funny. Johnny falls down
planking on the ring mat. So he went
back to planking, got hit with a GTS and
fell right on the ground planking. The
more things change, the more they stay
the same, right?
So after that happens, once again,
referees trying to deal with all the
chaos with Candace Laray and what's
going on,
that's when Kevin Owens comes into the
mix because Sammy's grabbing for the
title. He's trying to reach for the
title. Kevin Owens gets in the in the
ring. He picks up the title and he's
about to hit Sammy with it, but he
accidentally ends up hitting CM Punk in
the head with the title. Now, what I
like about this particular part is Kevin
Owens, he wasn't upset about it. He just
kind of he shrugged cuz he hits CM Monk
with the title. So, even though it
wasn't on purpose, he didn't feel bad
about it. So, he goes to hit Sammy.
Sammy hits Kevin Owens with the low
blow.
Mind you, ref doesn't see none of this.
KO rolls out the ring. Sammy throws the
title out the ring. CM Punk is staggered
up. He's in the corner uh by the
turnbuckle. Sami Zayn goes to the
opposite side of the ring. Runs hit the
the Hoover kick on the CM Punk. Goes for
the cover. Referee sees it. One, two,
three. And Sami Zayn is your new WWE
undisputed champion for the second time.
I did not think they were going to pull
the trigger. I if there's no way in my
head I thought he was going to win
because I felt like either Kevin Owens
or somebody else that he screwed over
these past few weeks was gonna get
involved. mainly Kevin Owens. I did not
think this was going to happen, bro.
I was thoroughly surprised. And
honestly, I don't have a problem with
it. I know some people will. I don't
have a problem with it because this was
a a nice switch up. This was a nice
switch up. And I can appreciate this
this swerve cuz I'm pretty sure many
people did not think Sammy was going to
win tonight. But the fact that they
actually had him win is that's actually
kind of crazy. And what leads me to be
somewhat excited about this because I do
think this is going to set up some
things with other, you know, other
individuals. We know Ke uh Kevin Owens
and CM Punk, they're about to crash out
cuz CM Punk's going to want want his
revenge against Kevin Owens and he's
probably going to want some smoke with
uh Johnny Gargano, but Johnny's going to
want his opportunity because Johnny was
the reason that, you know, helped Sammy
get the title back. So, he's going to
want his opportunity. Sammmy is gonna be
trying to, you know, you know, basically
duck um Johnny Gargano. He's gonna be
trying to, you know, find reasons not to
give him a title opportunity. So, you
got that storyline. And then also early
in the night, Randy Orton made it very
clear whoever wins, he's coming after
them for number 15. And we do know I'm
I'm sure they're going to set that match
up and that's going to be a pretty
interesting situation how that's going
to play out cuz Ry's going to want, you
know, to get number 15 in if he has to
pack up Sammy to do it. But we also know
Cody's probably going to be lurking
around and I'm willing to bet Cody's
probably going to cost Randy Orton
number 15 because their feud is not
done. He's gonna cost Randy Orton number
15 most likely. So, I'm will I'm willing
to bet that's gonna happen. But either
way, there's other storylines that they
can really tell with Sammy being the
champion and Sammmyy's going to be
honestly ducking and and dodging. He's
not really going to want to face people.
He's going to be forced into that
situation. I mean, honestly, they could
set up a multi-man. You know, they could
if they wanted to add Gunther, add Finn,
you know, add Kevin Owens, add CM Punk,
maybe Johnny Gargano if they wanted to.
They could do some of the that, but
there's multiple storylines they can
have here. And once again, surprise, but
I'm not upset with it. I'm not. He's a
good heel. He's a good delusional heel,
and I'm I'm honestly
did not think WWE was going to do that.
I didn't. It does lead me to wonder,
would they pull the trigger on Penta and
Roman? Most likely not. That's
definitely probably not gonna happen.
But I mean, if they wanted to really
shake some [ __ ] up, that would be
interesting, too. But nevertheless, I'm
I'm still shocked right now that Sammy
is our twotime WWE undisputed champion.
Everybody's going to be talking about
this. And honestly, if WWE can do things
like this, make these matches on on
regular television feel special and feel
maybe there's a good chance somebody
could actually lose or the title could
change. I think that brings some
unpredictability. It's not going to
happen all the time, nor should it, but
I can appreciate it when it does because
it makes you want to check out
Smackdown. I want to check out next
week's Smack Out because I know Ke uh
Kevin Owens, CM Punk, the Crash Out's
going to be great, especially with CM
Punk. I'm really interested to see what
direction they're heading towards. So, I
don't know. Me personally, I didn't have
a problem with it. But hey, comment down
below. Let me know how did y'all feel
about Sami Zayn being a twotime WWE
undisputed champion. Are you guys for
it? Are you not for it? Let me know how
y'all feel about this whole situation.
But I appreciate all love sport. road to
20K. Appreciate you giving me. See you
on the next one. Peace.
