So uh Kuber gained enormous amount of wealth because of his extraterrestrial skills and intelligence. He was considered to be the wealthiest man on the planet at that time at least in the known part of the world here. and he is a devotey of Shiva but he thinks he's a great devotey like many people come and say sguru I'm your greatest devotey said all right you're greater than me what can I do I I never thought I'm greatest Anything devotey is good because devotey means who is in the process of dissolution. A great devotey is a big problem. So he is a great devotey and every day whenever he comes to Shiva he brings diamonds, jewelry, clothes. Says I wear ash not jewels, not gold, not diamonds. Ash is my jewelry. Ash is my decoration. Ash is my everything. So why are you bringing this? And he just pushes it aside. at it because he's ashme at him because he continuously goes on bothering him with his wealth. See, if nobody's watching, you don't offer big things. Gapati went barefoot his feet walking in the mud. He left footprints in the marble floor and went. Kuber saw that his palace fine marble this guy is leaving mud puddles and going. So he had servants cleaning up behind him. Gapati walked all around the house looking leaving footprints right behind him. People were cleaning up. Then he sat down for the meal. They served variety of things. He ate. Then he looked up. They again cooked and served. He ate. Everything in the house was over. They went shopping. They bought everything that was there and cooked. He ate and ate and ate. They purchased every food item that was there in the town and cooked. But he ate and he was still looking up. Okay. Why are you stopping? Stop serving me. Serve me. So Kuber said the way you eating it's not healthy. He said you don't worry about my health. He said your stomach may burst. So he tied a snake around his belly. You don't worry about my belly. Please bring food. Kuber sold all his wealth and served food but he ate it up. So he fell at Gapati's feet and then went and fell at Shiva's feet and uh in many ways he got transformed. So this example people are taking and on the festival day I don't think they made kuru or kurum or modakam in the asham did they? They did. I don't know what they put inside. But there is a way to do it in such a way that it's hard to stop eating. symbolic of Ganapati but people forgot that he is referred to as Vigneshwara. Wiggeshwara means one who removes all obstacles. Removing all obstacles means the fools in the world. People who are halfrained they think all obstacles will go. A sharp intelligence and a balanced disposition will remove every obstacle. immense intelligence and his intelligence is eloized in so many ways. When he wrote and wanted to dictate, Gapati said, "If you stop, you must continuously dictate. If you stop for a moment, I'll throw my pen and go." He's impatient. Intelligence and impatience are always together. said if you give a little bit of break I will throw my pen and go. You must speak continuously I will write. Feast is for this. Festival is for all everything that is there. It's a celebration of life. So Gapati became famous and the artists and the sculptors made the stomach bigger and bigger and bigger because probably their own stomachs were that big. They wanted to because they loved him so much they wanted to give a little bigger stomach. So yesterday was not every year it happens that Gari Gapati's mother first day is her day next day is his day but these two days fell on top of each other yesterday.
