Video summary

In this reaction video, two hosts dive into *Rush Hour 2*, praising it as a hilarious and action-packed sequel that significantly improves upon its predecessor. They highlight the exceptional chemistry between Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan, noting how their partnership creates a dynamic where insults are exchanged like banter between best friends rather than genuine hostility. The film is celebrated for successfully blending high-octane kung fu stunts with comedy, offering a genre blend of action and humor that feels fresh and entertaining. While the first movie had darker tones, this installment leans heavily into funnier moments, such as Tucker's character obsessing over a dog named "Mushu" and various comedic mishaps involving wigs and mistaken identities. The hosts delve into specific plot elements that drive the narrative forward, including a counterfeit money scheme centered around the Red Dragon casino and an emotional storyline revolving around Lee's father. They appreciate how the action choreography is elevated in this sequel, with Jackie Chan performing unique athletic feats that complement Tucker's exaggerated comedic reactions to violence. This combination allows the film to stand out as a true "kung fu comedy," where the physical prowess of one lead perfectly balances the improvisational humor of the other. The improved plot structure and stronger character dynamics make the story more engaging than the original, keeping viewers invested in both the high-stakes heist and the personal backstories of the protagonists. Ultimately, the video concludes that *Rush Hour 2* is a highly rewatchable masterpiece that perfectly captures the essence of comedy through its lead actors' talents. The hosts express deep admiration for how Jackie Chan's athletic abilities mesh with Chris Tucker's exceptional comedic timing to create a satisfying partnership dynamic. They emphasize that despite any underlying racial tensions in the world, the characters' interactions remain lighthearted and joyful, proving that the film is an ideal blend of spectacle and laughter. The enthusiasm shown by the hosts underscores the movie's status as a classic that deserves repeated viewing for its ability to entertain with both thrilling fight scenes and laugh-out-loud jokes. To wrap up their discussion, the speakers encourage viewers to share their own thoughts in the comments and to subscribe to the channel, utilizing the new "hype" feature to help support their growth toward 100,000 subscribers. They acknowledge that the audience plays a crucial role in the channel's success and invite everyone to join them in celebrating this beloved film. No, I'm just kidding. That would just be so embarrassing. It really would. Cuz like everyone sees you. Grandma's >> two Americans have been killed on United States government property. This is our investigation. >> This is where they run. I ain't never been humiliated and embarrassed like that in my whole entire life. I be running around Hong Kong butt naked thanks to you. >> Thanks, Steve. What? >> I'm sick of your [ __ ] >> I'm sick of you. You pitiful, man. When you going to have some fun? [laughter] I don't want no chicken. I like them dead and deep fried. You ever heard of Popeyes? >> Dead and DEEP FRIED. >> NO, NO, NO. Don't kill [laughter] chicken. >> I'm a police officer. Put the blade down and let the bird go right now. [laughter] >> That's how I would be, too. >> He looks good in that suit, though. That's a good choice for him. And he blends in better. >> All he wanted was some Mushu. >> Oh, and he has a pet chicken. >> He got his mushu. All right. His mushu chicken. Our dog's going to be pissed when he figures out what that word means. [laughter] That's crazy. Well, his name he's named after a pork dish and from Mulan. >> I didn't name him. >> Follow that limo. This is a chase. Okay. Wherever it goes, you go. I WILL SLAP YOU if you don't move this car. >> I'm slap you. >> I'mma slap you. [laughter] >> I'mma slap you. >> Now you're speaking my language. [laughter] >> Okay, so we get to crash the party. Is that his bow? Damn, Ricky Tan. Doing pretty good. >> What snacks are on it? That's what matters. >> Wait right here. I'll be right back. And don't eat my chicken. Okay. Okay. >> Jesus. >> Maybe he'll circle around. [laughter] >> Or it'll be like what is that airplane where the person's just waiting there for >> in the cab forever. [clears throat] Yeah. [music] Do some athletic [ __ ] to get on this boat. Let's go. Only Jackie Chan would pick this way. >> Oh yeah, I like Jackie Chan. [music] >> She gives assassin vibes. >> Yeah, cuz kill Bill. >> How you doing, baby? James Carter, I'm Bing Hills. Isabella Molina from San Juan. You must know my good friend Pedro Morales. M Gonzalez Morato Molaso Mastos. [laughter] >> Well, I'm sorry. I thought you rode in the best of circles. [laughter] My yacht is your yacht. >> This is your yacht? >> That's right. >> What if she knows >> that? That's not your yacht. >> I know. >> I see me and you downstairs [music] one of those bathrooms in about 5 minutes. >> What's it called? >> The SS Minnow Johnson. >> Yeah. >> The name on the back was the Red Dragon. >> That one's so much better. Red Dragon. >> Yeah. >> Your friend's yacht. >> And this is his party. >> I must have got ON THE WRONG YACHT. I knew something was wrong with my key didn't work. >> [laughter] >> Hey, wait a second. I know you. Steven Rain, right? What you doing out here in Hong Kong? >> I'm having the weekend taking in the sights. >> You must have your own plane, too. It's fun, ain't it? [laughter] >> Look at that. >> I know. >> Oh, that's where they kill people. Lee, >> I've been expecting you. Please ask your partner to wait inside. >> This is the inverse of the first movie. Now they're going to have a private conversation like in the first movie they went to uh Carter spot. >> Mhm. >> I did not blow up the American embassy, but I believe some of my people did. There's a war going on right now within the triads. I'm afraid I'm going to lose this time. >> Oh [ __ ] >> I'll give you all the information you need, but you got to get me out of Hong Kong. >> Come on. >> Oh. >> Wa. teach you to yell at her anymore. He was fussing her out. She shot his ass. Damn, it's a coup. >> That was insane. I didn't think he was going to get killed like that that early. >> Hey lady, what are you doing? Get down LAPD. [laughter] >> You must be out of your mind. You want some of me? I'm going to give you a lap ass kicking. [laughter] >> He said, "Did you just kick me? You must be out of your mind." [laughter] >> I know. You just see a woman and then she does a weird kick on you. That's probably >> Oh, yeah. >> He was not expecting that. >> No, you got to look out for the women. They're swift. Swift and fast. They'll kick the [ __ ] out of you. >> Like in Mortal Kombat, the old video game, the women were always fast. like katana. >> He slipped. >> That was kind of sus, right? >> He just let that girl whoop him and he didn't even ask questions about any of it. >> She's fired. >> So, you got your revenge. >> Revenge? What are you talking about revenge? No, >> I don't know if the triads paid you to get rid of Tan or if it was a pure vendetta killing. But you're off this case. I don't ever want to see you again. >> What's going on here? >> You're in enough trouble. You're going back to LA right now. >> Let's call Detective Carter to the airport. I'll take you. >> Get your hands off. >> He did the double elbow. >> They were scared, too. They were flinching. >> I got knocked off a building. I got beat on. I got stripped butt naked. And you held out on me, man. I'm out of here. >> So emotional. >> Come on. >> But I get it though. I get it. >> I know. It's vacation. You don't want all that. >> Rookie 10. Sell up my father. >> 5 years ago, my father was working a big international smuggling case. He found out his partner Tan was working for the trials. But before he could prove it, he was killed. All the evidence disappeared. [music] >> So I get it now. This is all about your daddy's last case. So you getting on a plane with me or not? >> What? >> You know my daddy died on the job, too. If I had a chance to square his death, I'd do whatever it took. >> No, let's go. That was like a >> Why LA? >> That's just like your classic like teenager drama. You know what I mean? Like >> follow the rich white man. >> Follow the rich white man. Every big crime has a rich white man behind it waiting for his cut. Now, in our case, we know who the rich white man is. Steven Rain, >> the guy on the boat. >> When the shooting started, he was way too cool. >> White people ain't that cool. They either running around, hiding behind tables, OR SCREAMING LIKE, [screaming] >> "You sound like that all the time." [laughter] >> Maybe, but not like Asians. We never panic. >> Yeah, right. When Godzilla's coming, y'all be tripping. I seen the movie. Gaka Gaka. [laughter] >> Y'all be tripping. Gaka Gaka. >> Mr. Steven Rain. Oh, guess who this is? That's the woman that was on Ricky C's boat right there. >> He's leaving. >> He'll be back. >> How do you know? >> You see how fine that woman is? He'll definitely be back. [laughter] >> When you can't >> What's she doing? >> Nothing. Cooking. She's just standing around not doing much. [laughter] >> Okay, I just try to [music] stay awake. Just so boring. [laughter] >> Slow down, baby. [laughter] >> Guys, for the extremely sensitive crowd, because like Lord knows you guys exist, you shouldn't spy on a woman when she's undressing. It's a bad thing to do. We would not do this in real life cuz that's weird. But just in terms of a movie, it's funny. Do you agree? >> This is a comedy. >> Do you agree? How many people are going to lose their minds? Probably. Sorry, guys. We got to say it cuz there's a lot of crazy people. >> You got suspicious. He's making too many noises over here. >> I know. >> She just getting dressed. >> No, it's not right. [laughter] >> She took a skirt off. >> Oh, I I cannot hear this. [laughter] >> Got a little tattoo. That's cute. Look like >> Snoopy. I love Snoopy. >> Wait a minute. I love Snook, too. Let me look at this thing. >> Look like somebody dropping off a package. >> Oh, it's going to explode. >> Oh no. Are they going to witness it? >> It's a bomb. >> Oh my god. Yeah, we got to tell her. But hey, they're looking at it through the window. >> Or they're going to go up there and get exploded. >> They wish. >> Open it. >> Don't open it. WHAT THE HECK? >> NO. NO. NO. NO. >> What if it's actually nothing? Come on. This way. >> Yeah. I don't know what it is. It'd be funny if it was nothing, but Oh [ __ ] >> THROW IT. >> OH my god. >> There's people down there. >> There's people DOWN THERE. >> Throw it. NO. >> WE ABOUT TO DIE. [music] >> Oh my god. >> Okay, get on your feet. >> THERE'S A BOTTLE. >> PUT THAT DOWN. >> No bone. Nothing. >> Oh, so she paid that lady. I'm an undercover agent for the United States Secret Service. >> Well, how do we know that? Show me a badge right now. >> Here you go. >> Let me see that again. I I I didn't get a good look at that. [laughter] >> We need to go out of sight. So, come down to my suite. >> I didn't expect her to be a uh secret service agent. Is that what she says she is? >> But she's with that guy. >> The triads and rain. They think I'm a crooked customs agent. You guys ever heard of the super bill? 14 out of 15 world banks can't even tell the difference. The paper is crane linen blend and the bills are printed on US inagly presses. In 1959, the United States was very friendly with the Sha of Iran. Our government gave him a gift, a US Treasury Inaglo printing press. 5 years ago, Rick Tan bought the press on the black market. >> Damn, that's a good buy. >> Early this year, Ricky Tan got a hold of one of a kind Swiss made $100 plates and he started printing super bills. >> That's why Holy killed him for the place. >> So, you can't tell the difference between the counterfeit money and the non-counterfeit money? I guess not >> crazy. >> They use an optical transfer ink from India that burns red. Now the real ink, it burns black. >> So what in the hell they going to do with $100 million of phony money? >> The real question is where are the plates? >> Mhm. >> Yeah. >> Carter, this [music] is your city, right? >> Yeah, this is my titty. I mean, this is my city. >> Can you find out where Julie is keeping the plates? [music] >> That ain't no problem. >> From this moment on, you're officially working for the United States Secret Service. >> They always get promotions, don't they? [laughter] H FBI, Secret Service. >> 6 months and I'm going to be in Washington DC protecting the president. >> Oh Lord, >> you would never kick a boot up for someone else. >> Yeah, but they don't know that. [laughter] >> Just jealous, Lee, cuz the girl chose me cuz I'm tall, dark, and handsome. And you third world ugly. >> I'm not [laughter] third world ugly. Women like me. They think I'm cute like Snoopy. >> Lee, Snoopy is 6 in taller than you. [laughter] Their banger is hilarious. They're ugly. >> Officially out of the Secret Service way. >> I know. What a rude thing to say. >> So, she's getting hired to steer them out of the way. >> Crazy. This is my informer's place. >> That's the best. That was like a good Chinese place. >> Oh, I know. I don't think I see what I'm seeing, what I'm thinking. >> IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A CHINESE RESTAURANT. >> WHAT YOU doing over here, James? [laughter] >> Let's talk outside. You want to talk outside? >> Yes. >> Let's go. >> You want to talk? >> Is that Roie from Marvel? >> I think so. [laughter] >> What's up? Is I heard you was getting your ass kicked out there in Hong Kong, brother. >> What? >> How'd you hear that? [laughter] Oh, I got my sources. Don't you worry about it. >> Oh, they telling you lies. Look, man. You embarrass me in front of my wife, my kids out there. >> Oh, that's his wife and kids. [laughter] >> You know what I'm going to do for you? I'mma whoop your ass >> and then I'mma whoop your ass. >> I don't think so. >> He might. >> Come on, Kenny. >> [ __ ] Kenny. >> I'll shoot you say you fell IN THE KITCHEN. >> COME ON, CHILL OUT, BOY. >> He said I'll shoot you until you fell in the kitchen. >> You've never heard [laughter] that? >> No. Oh my god. [screaming] >> Even 7-Eleven, Tiger. >> Oh, I heard that. Don't be talking about me, man. [laughter] Look, >> one of my regulars came in here a few days ago, dropped about 50 large on the tables in there, but he comes in the next day with the whole thing. Brand new $100 bill, sequential. >> Didn't expect the safe to be there. >> Turn around. fake is a snake. Oh, it's fake. Tell you what, you better hope you find it before I do. Eat aunt eat. [snorts] [laughter] >> Like, why does he even attempt? >> He was a cool character. What a cool character, man. He walked in there and just insulted his whole spot. [laughter] Like, his whole life, basically. He said he was going to lock them all up. [laughter] >> That's never good. >> I think he knows. >> Uh-oh. >> I don't even know why the hell I'm even here. I ain't even Chinese. [laughter] >> He tried it. >> I think there's someone who would like to talk to them first. >> That [ __ ] looks like a little boooosey video, don't it? Oh [ __ ] >> You do that, f. It was unnecessary. >> That's his third one from her. >> That's going to cost you. >> I ain't never hit a woman in my life, but your ass is pushing it. >> Okay. All right. All right. I'll go. Watch your back. >> Like just getting hit for no reason cuz he can't shut up. [laughter] Like making it way harder than it needs to be. >> He's too prideful to just take the hit. I know. >> I don't blame him. I wouldn't like to just take it like that [laughter] either. >> Well, that's creepy as hell. >> The terra cotta soldiers. >> Yeah. I'm assuming there's money in it. Are they smuggling it? >> That lady Isabella knocked you out. That's what happened, man. She played you. >> No. She saved our life. >> Look at us. We good as dead. >> Stop you whiny. >> What you going to do if I don't stop? Huh? I will slap the hell out of you right now, Lee. >> Huh? >> Yeah. I'll [ __ ] slap you back to Africa. >> Oh, you will? [laughter] I'll bite your damn nose off. [laughter] I hate when people do this. Oh goodness. Well, you're not psycho at all. >> I put that knife away, [ __ ] before you have an accident. Oh, >> okay. It's mine now. >> She's aggressive. >> Just tell me how the dry ass going to kill us. They will torture us for 3 days. I can handle that. They'll cut off [laughter] our egg rolls. Hell no. Let's get the hell out of here. [laughter] >> He could have been tortured for 3 days. [laughter] >> Jesus. >> He said, "Yeah, I can handle it. Fight that thing. Bite it like a little monkey. Go bite it. That ain't good. Yank it. >> Yeah, money's in it. >> Well, all these statues full of money. We can't go in there like this. >> What does he mean out? >> Well, the first thing they need to do is hit a shower. >> Just run [music] through those. >> I think it's going to need more than that. They got sewer feet. >> When you get in there, you stay a couple steps behind them. >> That's a cool store. I like that a lot. >> That area. >> Did you see that? Wait, do you see the vibe of this? Look, that's so cool. This 2000s, can I help you jump the try on? >> I'm going to need 42 long. >> Oh yeah. >> And get my partner something from the kids department. >> But I really enjoy it when couples dress alike. >> No, wait. No, this ain't no couple thing, man. We police officers working a very dangerous case and we need clothes. >> Yes, [music] there are a lot of men chasing us. >> That's Well, they should be. What are they? >> They look like Cam Newton. >> They don't look near as ridiculous as Cam Newton. I promise you. He looks more like the lady hanging from the pole right [laughter] there. >> A thousand years ago, a small wealthy village in China hired a young dragon to guard their treasures in a cave. The dragon grew so big he got stuck and the treasure was trapped behind them. I have found that lost treasure. It is here. Welcome to the Red Dragon. >> Damn, what a casino. That thing is nice. >> That was a cool show. >> If I installed a rope in here, would you hang from it like that? It might be good for you. >> I could try. [music] Yeah, but that would be annoying cuz this is dirty money. >> Yeah. >> Put your arms around me. There are cameras everywhere. I think I may be in trouble. Lee, I really need your help. >> Last time you needed my help. I woke up in the truck. >> I'm undercover. Lee, I had no choice. You have to trust me. >> I don't know if I do. >> We think the plates are in there. I need you to go and get them >> so you can get shot. >> Mhm. >> Will you help the Secret [music] Service? What is he doing? Oh, he's going to be mad. >> Man, I'm up here working, putting my life on the line, and you up here messing around, dancing with some bimbo. Then what's a fella? Look, it's security all over the place. If you going to do this, you're going to need a distraction. So, keep your eye on me, and you'll know when to make your move. >> His suit is crazy. It kind of gives me like a little NasX vibe. >> I want some of this money. Get me in this game. Come on, >> sir. [music] Uh, you're aware that there's a $50,000 buy in this evening? If that's the case, give me $100,000 in chips. Let me have a diet, Pepsi, and some hot wings. What's this? You gave me $500 chips cuz I'm black. >> Uh, no sir, I did not. >> He's just causing a scene. >> No, I didn't think that at all, sir. >> You a racist? >> No, I'm not. >> How come everybody else around the table got thousand chips and the black man got a nickel? What? How did that happen? >> It just happened. >> It just happened, didn't it? [laughter] >> 362 years of slavery so you can sit next to the cotton fields with $500 chips. >> I think you should calm down. I think you should go over there and count something. Give him a chance. [laughter] >> Is that too much? >> She said no. >> What's going on? >> That was a quality distraction. >> Yeah, he did his job perfectly. >> Performing in this hotel. [music] We ain't good enough for you people Richard performing here tonight. >> Lana Rich ain't been black since the commodors, man. [laughter] >> Yeah, you can take that guy. >> I HAVE a dream. No, he is not. >> White people and black people and even Chinese people can gamble together [laughter] without getting different chips. >> This poor [ __ ] guy right here >> cuz they gave their own chips out. [laughter] >> Let's just play craps, man. Come on. LET'S GO. COME ON. >> This movie is the funniest [ __ ] I've ever seen. Oh, this is good. Right in his face. >> He kind of looks like he's in charge. Oh [ __ ] >> Not now. Now he looks confused by the cameras. [music] I love how she kept the boot up there. >> I held the pose. >> Yeah. [laughter] >> Oh, no. No. No. >> Oh, it's ticking. >> Oh my god. She put up. >> This is like the last movie kind of. >> Oh, put that hand on my butt. Do it again. Give me that. Give me that. [laughter] >> Night at the Roxberry. >> This one is for Monday. Nelson Mandela. He died in prison, right? I'm just kidding. This a Mandela effect joke. >> Now that's a real American dream. >> How? >> Hey, confirm your kills. >> I'm back in business. >> Are you snaking or what? I don't know if I can trust her. >> Like father, like son. >> [ __ ] >> Don't bring that up. >> What does he think he [music] is doing? >> [laughter] >> Do you see him just? >> Yes. >> The trouble with partners is they die. >> Man, save your villain speech. >> Come on. >> Let's go. Oh, >> hey, she can fight, too. >> That's stressful that that bomb still in his mouth cuz the grenade swallow it. No. [laughter] >> Oh, that's smart. >> Oh, wait. >> What the >> Hey, you help you. [laughter] That would be so stressful. >> That would look so scary if you're just at that resort and that guy is doing that. >> Wait, this guy smuggled some drugs here. >> YEAH. >> Take it easy. >> Oh, shoot. [laughter] In your mouth. [screaming] UHOH. OH, IS SHE WEARING A VEST? DAMN, she jumped out the window. Ain't she wearing high heels? What the [ __ ] [laughter] Go. [screaming] Hurry. Not on that thing. I don't even know what that thing's called. The spinny thing. How the hell you didn't tell me you had a BOMB IN YOUR MOUTH? I TOLD YOU I DIDN'T. I SAID, "WHAT THE HELL IS BOOM?" [laughter] >> I mean, close enough, right? >> We have to GET TO THE PENTHOUSE DEAD. >> NO, he's alive. >> It's the Asian girl. >> Lee, go after Ricky, man. I got this. >> Oh, hell no. They got unsettled business cuz she keeps kicking him in the face. >> I'm not going to hold back on you this time just because you're a woman. I'mma pretend you a man. [laughter] >> A very beautiful man with a perfect body who I'd like to take to the movies. [laughter] >> She put her hair up with one chopstick. That was impressive. >> Oh, she got shot in the arm. >> Are you okay? >> Yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine. >> You need help? >> What's wrong with you, woman? Look over there. >> You can't even get a weapon. [laughter] >> She's really trying to disembow him, ain't she? >> Oh. Uh-uh. He's wearing this. Oh. Oh, is it money? Oh, it's the money. [laughter] >> We could have been a good couple. We could have had something special, but you one crazy ass [ __ ] [laughter] >> Oh, I'm uh cutting our deal short. The plate stay with me. I'm sure you won't have a problem with that. >> I enjoy that little story. Do you know the moral of that story? >> Greed will imprison us all. Yeah, you're dumb for getting close to him, stupid. >> I know. I >> hate that fortune cookie [ __ ] >> Oh, you cold. >> I love fortune cookies. Like, not the taste of them. I just like to read them. >> I'm sure no one doubts that. >> I really did try to help him. You know, he was too weak. >> I can make you a very rich man, Lee. Don't make the same mistake your father did. If you reach for that gun, I'll kill you. >> Tell his ass. >> I'm already dead. Oh, >> hey Ricky. How you doing? God damn. What happened to Rain? >> Would you like me to tell you how your father died? Mm- >> All he asked me was that I promise not to kill you. Oh, he was so pathetic. >> Oh, hell no. He don't went too far. Now, at least shoot his ass right now. [laughter] >> All you got to do is pull that trigger back and bam. >> Are you going to spend the rest of your life hiding like your father? >> Man, don't let him talk about your daddy like that. Children, [laughter] come fool his ASS OR SOMETHING. >> GOT to Whoa. >> Hey, there you go, Carter. >> Oh, no. >> Damn. [screaming] He did it like Spider-Man. Hey, Toby Magguire. Remember? >> Good kick, Lee. >> It was an accident. >> That's okay. We'll just say he tried to catch a cab. >> Was that a unit? You listen to me right now. You put that bomb DOWN AND TURN OFF. You have to jump. You crazy, man. I ain't jumping. >> Sometimes you just got to jump out the window. >> Crazy. >> Oh, she is. >> That's like a Mulan. I want it so bad. [laughter] >> [screaming] [laughter] [screaming] [laughter] >> Get out of the road, please. >> I cannot believe I for 10,000 miles for this [ __ ] [laughter] >> The United States Secret Service is indebted to you. >> Heroes again. Well, that was awkward. He didn't even kiss back. >> I know. [laughter] >> He just accepted it and moved on. >> You slide devil. You She kissed you, didn't she? You played it cool, too. Walking away, not looking back. I like that. >> Yeah, I'm a player. That's your gate down there. >> Yep. >> A I don't want them to leave each other. >> There's a rush hour three, right? >> Oh, yeah. >> Thank you, Tyler. >> Take good care of yourself, Lee. What if one of the actors aren't in it, though? >> Oh, that would suck. >> Oh, Kaido. >> Kelly, >> there's something I want you to have. >> Oh, no, man. It's your daddy's badge. I can't take that, man. No way. >> It's okay. No, finally. I can let it go. >> Ma, keep that. >> I got something for you, too. >> What is this? >> That's $10,000, man. I got it at the tables. >> You're trying to get him. >> Would you stop acting like a cop for one second, man, and live it up? It got to be something you want. Come on. I always wanted to go to Madison Square Garden, see the next play. >> I can use another vacation. >> Hey, y'all should go this year. Y'all should have went this year. >> The Rush Hour in New York. >> I'm glad that uh they're staying together cuz I thought it was about to be Jackie Chan and like Kevin Hart or something. >> I was impressed with that one cuz that one would be hard. >> How did he do it? Did they raise the bar or something? >> Oh [ __ ] What's the name of this stuff? >> Fish. >> Gilka fish. What's the name of this fish? >> Gapilta fish. >> Why don't they put a a >> filter? You know what this is? >> Just write it down there. >> Yeah, just write it on a piece of paper. >> Filter fish. >> Tape it to the sea. [music] >> Oh, it's nice to see that she's nice. >> I know >> cuz she was a menace in this. >> I know. She's scary a little bit. [laughter] >> Okay. Chris Jackie Jackie again. >> We got to see that. We would love to see that, Jackie. Now, Jackie, we would love to see that. Wouldn't we love to see that? >> His name is Lee. God damn it. Lee, we would love [laughter] to see that. >> We would love to see that. Would we leave? >> I always want to go to square to square. >> I always dreamed to square. [laughter] >> I would take a run at you. I'd put you in a bubble bath. I'd put some water wings on you and I I'd smack your whole bottom. But listen, here's what we do, guys. Easy. Easy. You're kidding me. I'll take you home and just punish you. [laughter] >> Hold on. >> Who's calling? >> I'm filming, man. I'm filming. I'm looking Jackie Chan dead in his eye. >> Wait. >> Call me back. >> Are you a professional? We are filming. You have You turn on your phone. >> No, you can't speak to Jackie Chan. >> No, they want to speak to you, Jack. >> Hello. We We are filming right now. You waste our film. [laughter] Damn. He ain't going to be in rush hour three. [laughter] They knew they were getting another one cuz they killed this [ __ ] >> I know. Oh my goodness gracious. I can't stop smiling. That movie was hilarious. >> That movie was exhausting because my face hurts. All the muscles in my face are Look, my face is getting jacked. Look. >> God, that was funny. Honestly, I think that was better than the first movie. I agree >> cuz we got to know that they got they came together at the beginning in this one. We didn't have to have like a they meet each other. >> Yeah, exactly. Like that took away a lot of the potential comedy and like there was dark moments in the first one. It felt a little darker in a sense and this movie was just funny as hell. >> No, this one had dark moments with that girl. >> Yeah, kind of. I felt like the first movie was a little darker. >> That girl was like the bride on Kill Bill. [laughter] >> Yeah, exactly. That's the vibe she was giving me. But she was awesome though. >> Yeah. Uh, her ability to kick you in your face was pretty cool. >> The choreography and the fights in this was gold. >> All of them. And it wasn't just Jackie Chan this time. Even like Chris Tucker had a phenomenal little like >> when he had the chair at the end. >> Oh yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Phenomenal uh phenomenal job by him also. Like I know I give Jackie Chan a lot of praise for like his athletic ability and stuff, but Chris Tucker also he's obviously not on the same level as Jackie Chan. I mean he's a very athletic man, no doubt, but Jackie Chan's different. You got to admit like he's Jackie is different. >> It takes years. >> I love to watch his fight sequences. They're funny because he just uses the whole background. >> Well, every single scene they just I imagine they go into it just thinking like how can we push the limits of like what's possible and I really like that. >> And they go from room to room and it's like I don't know. It's like something you would think you would see in a video game or something like that, but he's doing it in real life. And I I really appreciate the bloopers because the bloopers really like enforce how real it is because it's really easy to think like it's all camera angles and special effects and slowed down. >> Stunt doubles mostly. >> Yeah. But Jackie Chan's different, man. Um, so obviously Chris Tucker is a generational talent when it comes to just humor. He's >> just hilarious. Yeah. So funny. And I don't play this role. >> I never knew much about him before this. >> Me either. Born to play this role. Was he not? >> So funny in this. But honestly, man, the plot of the movie was awesome. I really appreciated the plot. I thought the movie was S tier. This was one of the best movies I've ever seen. And I really do mean that, guys. It's not a prisoner of the moment. I think in terms of like just enjoying a movie, this one was almost just perfect. This was just like the first one. And um >> these have rewatchability to me. >> I think a lot of movies we watch do in my opinion. I don't like to say that a lot, but like there's just not specific moments I'm always searching for, but this one just has feel good. >> This movie made me happy. this movie like >> it was just like being a fly on the wall. Like you know there's a lot of partnerships in life that are like this, right? Like there's a lot of people who work together who like give each other [ __ ] all day and they're like partners and it doesn't necessarily have to be like cops or anything like that. I mean it could be people who like do construction or maybe like two people like people who work at like a fabrication company, you know, but people just have a way of like talking [ __ ] to each other. And I think the banter, the back and forth in this movie is what makes this movie really special to me. And as much as much as it was like going after each other's like race and stuff, I think ultimately that's just I mean when you're really I guess what I'm saying is it's just funny. Like it was just such a good It was just so good like with the chemistry I guess they just really came across like two best friends. >> They give it and take it. >> Exactly. >> Whereas like they don't get emotional or hurt by anything the other one says. They just give it back. >> Yeah. >> That's what comedy is, you know. >> Yeah. For sure. And a lot of people don't like comedy and I get that. and and you know teach their own. But >> that [music] I think this was that ideal comedy action movie. But what did it say? A kung fu comedy >> or something like that. >> I mean it was just a >> it was a genre I've never heard of. But it said that Jackie Chan's hilarious kung fu comedy. >> I think somebody's just trying to be slick. Someone's trying to justify their job. All right. They need me in marketing. They couldn't do this [ __ ] without me. I thought this movie was phenomenal. Really hope you guys enjoyed it, man. Like, comment, subscribe.
