best stuff this afternoon, but but found
a way to get them in the sixth inning
there. Just how were you able to find
things in the middle inning?
>> Yeah, I mean it was just uh one of those
days where stuff wasn't great out of the
bat. So, um
just try to go out there and get out.
So,
you know, defensively played well and
tight game. Um
nice comeback, obviously great swing by
Volpe. You know, in the end we lost, but
you know, I like the fight out of us.
>> Your velocity was noticeably down. Just
what do you make that?
>> Uh I just started off
a little slow, a little tight. So, it
kind of loosened up on me going out, you
know, the next few innings. So, that was
nice. I felt felt pretty normal, you
know, in the fifth, fourth, fifth, and
sixth. So, I was happy about that.
>> When you say little slow, little tight,
can you just just describe exactly what
you mean by that?
>> it's just one of those days like, I
don't know. It just wasn't coming out
too crisp at the beginning and took a
little while for me to get going. So, um
obviously I would like to be better, but
um you know, more efficient.
But in the end I was happy, you know,
how it how it ended up. Obviously, you
know, I'd like that game to be tied, not
2-0. So, but it is what it is.
>> When that happens, are you at all
alarmed or is it just part of the
process of
happens on outings like that?
>> Yeah, I mean there's going to be days
where it's not perfect, you know, and
and the stuff's not, you know,
where it normally is and you just got to
figure out how to go out there and get
out. So, that was that was one of those
days today.
>> You know, when Aaron leaves this team,
yeah, how concerning is it when you see
him come out of the game like
>> Uh you know, I'm not sure exactly what's
going on, but you know, it's never good
when your
best player on your team comes out on
the mound. So, um obviously I'm hoping
he's going to be okay. I'm not sure, you
know,
exactly what's happening, but you know,
