[screaming] >> As Everton looking at the free transfer market which has been reported for a few days, there's another story about Richarlison this morning and it's a bit of a a strange one. Because he is obviously still contracted to Tottenham Hotspur. He didn't move to Everton which looked on the cards at one stage. There was then rumors that he was going to go to Turkey or Saudi Arabia. Neither of those deals came through and the story coming out of Brazil is there's conversations. If he doesn't go to Vasco da Gama, there's going to be conversations about Tottenham Hotspur and him parting ways potentially with the termination of a contract. And if that is the case, then apparently his lawyers are going to seek to get exceptional circumstances. If that was granted, that would mean he would then be able to sign for the club before the January transfer window. Um it all seems obviously a bit convoluted, but the top and bottom of that is Everton have been mentioned once again with being the potential suitors for Richarlison. Obviously, the Toffees had a poor end to the transfer window. The Folarin Balogun deal didn't, you know, that fell through. Richarlison deal didn't happen. Um and then that will give Everton the opportunity to bring him in on a free transfer of course if that happened. It still seems unlikely, but the fact that there's a possibility I guess will keep people enthused. Um if his contract is canceled, but he can't get that special dispensation, it'd be interesting to see whether or not Everton are trying to do a deal with him from January the 1st as well. Doesn't really help us in the short term, but gives us that opportunity to do it in January. But it's an interesting one, isn't it? Because it does make you wonder why Tottenham didn't just pay him what they promised him for him to go and recently. Now obviously Everton, that deal was only getting done if they would have bought him and Ja, and him and Ja not going to City complicated the whole thing. But it is it is an interesting one for Spurs cuz quite clearly keeping him under contract for this next season having to pay him whatever he's on 8 million a season or whatever it is 7 million a season. >> [clears throat] >> They're not going to get anything back from him because he he clearly doesn't want to play for them. Roberto De Zerbi doesn't want him. Therefore, you've got a player on your books that you're just going to pay every week for no reason. So, we've seen this in the past. We've seen players like Raheem Sterling get his contract terminated and others just to get them out the door. It's happened with many Premier League clubs. Um who knows? Who knows? It seems to make sense if Tottenham come to an agreement with them that they end this contract for a small payoff then that's him out of there. You know, their SCR improves cuz he's not there. We'll see. We'll see. Just thought it was an interesting one today that obviously been linked with Everton again. So, we'll see what happens with that one. The referee has been confirmed for Saturday's trip to Tottenham Hotspur. It is Darren England. He is the man in the middle for Tottenham versus Everton, which is a 5:30 kickoff on Saturday night.
