And we're going to use a little creative
technique that I like to do, which is
kind of a reverse cut. So, a reverse
slide cutting. So, basically what you're
going to do is you're going to take your
scissor just like this. And instead of
cutting it the regular way like this,
you're just going to push the scissor
down. Take your thumb out the regular
direction. And as you push it down,
you're going to put your thumb in the
opposite direction. So, your scissor
should be facing down. And then as you
cut this face frame, you're just going
to slide the hair into the middle of
this blade and half close and just slide
through it. So let me show you what that
looks like on the mannequin. Okay, so I
bring this hair forward
and I don't even need to grab everything
right away. So I want to keep everything
organized. You've got your guideline
right here. So you can see the guide.
So I bring that to me. Now I do my
reverse
slide cutting technique. And I just
slide through the hair just like that.
And you get a nice
little line cut in there. I'm going to
do the same thing to the bottom here.

So, now
we've connected that all in all these
little pieces. And what I'm going to do
is I'm going to blow it dry and I'll
show you guys a couple dry cutting
techniques that will finalize that face
frame. But for now, we're going to do
the opposite side. Cool thing about that
technique is that it works on both sides
of the head. So, keeps it consistent
because it's the same motion.

it. If I wanted to lighten up this just
a little bit, I can slide through it.
