Beyond hardware improvements, the Triion P2 offers a versatile software ecosystem through TriModel that delivers five distinct deliverables from a single scan, including point clouds, 3D meshes, 2D floor plans, Gaussian splatting imagery, and panoramic views. The software suite is enhanced with AI modules for automatic tree species identification in forestry applications and semi-automatic drawing tools for generating contours and vectors compatible with CAD software. Users can choose between a perpetual license model without subscription fees or add specific modules like the drawing or forestry inventory tools to tailor the solution to their needs, while also having the option to use a tablet version for on-site post-processing. The Triion P2 is positioned as a flexible and modular solution that adapts to various industry demands, from mining volume calculations to underground tunnel analysis. Customers can configure the unit with optional brackets and cameras, such as the Insta X5, to unlock advanced features like high-quality Gaussian splatting for video imagery. Currently available through FJ Dynamics' global dealer network, the scanner is already being sold worldwide, with Nicola Scotto inviting interested parties to visit their booth for a live demonstration. This new system not only provides raw data but offers a comprehensive workflow that transforms point clouds into actionable assets, representing a significant step forward in geospatial innovation and user accessibility.

I'm Nicolas Scotto from sales manager for FJ Dynamics. So we are here to present our new laser scanner the Triion P2. I would like to show you the the main uh milestone. Okay. So FJ Dynamics started with the ZLAM technology in 2022 and our first system was the Trion S2. Okay. Then in 2023 we started we launched here in Derjo the the Triumph P1. It was the first um Zlam scanner below 10K for end user price. So we really enable a big uh number of stakeholders to start using Zlum. So we uh had pre1 really be a a breakthrough at that time. And then in 2024 we launch a new system. The Tryion S2 is this system replace the Trion S1 is a system able to do 320,000 points per second or 640,000 points per second. Is uh let's say uh focused on civil engineering and surveying. of course we get a more compact and robust uh solution. Okay. So why we built P2? We built P2 of course um let's say using all the experience and the background we we got using P1 okay with P1 and we built the P2 listening listening our users so it's not just a product that come out of the blue but it's a product that we created listening our user day by day and let's say take into account their comments, their remarks. So here for example, you see some example of remarks. It would help a lot if the scanner was lighter and actually as you are going to see afterwards the scanner is 25% lighter than the P1. Another interesting remark in the field we really need a real feedback and if if we are scanning good or not. So of course we in the Tryon P2 our acquisition software uh improved respect the P1 and then one device that can end all the deliverables and then during this presentation I'm going to show you what deliverables you get out of one scan. So uh video speak for itself. So it's a compact lightweight scanner and uh with the internal camera with visual slam and with the capacity of achieving an accuracy of 1.2 cm. Now um of course respect in comparison with the P1 uh on the in the P2 there are relevant upgrade inside the hardware. Of course the um the the hardware is lighter. Okay. Then we upgraded the CPU so enabling a better processing and also and also a faster data downloading. Okay. We have a dual battery that uh enable the use of the unit during four hours. So two battery. We improved also the uh the accessory uh let's say available together with the the Triion P2 we have a metal base rugged base and and then we improve also the the extension pole as I mentioned before the system is smaller and lighter so we reduce the size by 25% so this render the the the unit even easier to to manage than the than the P1. Okay. One other important advantage is the the in inbuilt camera. So thanks to the inbuilt camera we we uh our algorithm can use the visual slam. So definitely the algorithm is able to uh let's say to improve the performance of the row data set in a better way than P1. Then um you can also colorize the point cloud using the internal camera. So without needing eventually uh the use of an external camera inside the the standard package we include the the pocket size RTK which is something that of course enable to use proficiently the Triion P2 not only in inside but also outside for outdoor application. Okay. How we download? So also the download method improve. So um we have various way to download data set in efficient way. So you can use the Wi-Fi that generate the the device. You can use a type-C cable or an external disk. And definitely thanks to the better CPU also the the the data set downloading become faster than before. Here the of course the upgrade CPU. So the advantage is not only the a faster data set downloading but we have also realtime colorization that is something new that in the previous P V1 we don't have. So this enable to to have a better preview of the data set and so then uh figure out on the field if the acquisition has been good or not or if it need to be redone. So the multislam algorith so as you can see the laser is really compact lightweight. You have the laser, you have the camera, you have a pocket size SDK that can work as FDK and also in PPK. The performance is really robust even in challenging environment because here the key is not just the hardware but also the algorithm that is able to let's say to to to achieve a proper data set with great accuracy even in challenging environment. And we can achieve this thanks to the fact that our trial model software is on the road since three years. So we accumulate a lot of experience, a lot of knowledge and so the P2 now let's say enjoy a consistent software that is steadily growing. Okay. One another novelties important novelties in our tri model software is the availability of Gaussian splatting. Okay, that is available since this September. Now as to get goaspling we render available the possibility of put on top of the P2 a bracket with X5. So the latest version of Insta camera and so at the end of the day you can get let's say a video imagery with the a proper quality to get a good goian splatting. So it's something that we make available with our P2 and in our software. Okay. Yes, the goian splatting this is important is included in our the tri model standard version. So the basic version that we provide together with the hardware. Okay. Then there are other we improved also um other workflow within our software. Um the first one is a 2D plan. Okay. In our software you need to know we have a module a built-in module named tri model drawing that enable you to do the section plane okay of the point cloud and get prospect uh contours vectors and plan in a semi-automatic way now in our software we are using AI module that of course power empower our software to let's say to get better uh more accurate plan vectors and so that can be easily then export in auto cut for example in other cut software. Not only that we also improved the the forestry module that is another module available for our client and so thanks to AI module that we are we inserted in our software you get an automatic tree uh species identification. So FJ Dynamics is not only providing a an hardware with a software that give you a last file and that's it. No, we also have modules let's say that enable you to address specific application like forestry like drawing where the demand of using let's say slam scanner is growing more and more and we provide client with um let's say full-fledged solution uh beyond the point cloud another function available in tri model In the basic version is hyperdense an hyperdense function thanks to which you can improve the density by five seven times the density of the original point cloud. Okay. And thanks to which at the end of the day you you can achieve even 1 millm spacing. So this is a new function that is available in our tri model that give more even more strength to our software. Now this slide is it's it's really important because most people say okay I get one scan but what is the output how I can let's say get a return on my investment when I scan so the output are key and of course the main output is a point cloud that then you can export in whatever software suite a 3D mesh model in OBG file okay then we have a 2D floor plan that can be obtained using our drawing module. Then we have the 3D goian splatting and then the panorama image which is uh enable you to do visual tool. So out of one scan okay you have available five deliverables five deliverables that are more and more demanded and unavailable and are available in our software and easy to be obtained within our software workflow. Okay, this is let's say our software workflow, our ecosystem somehow. So the trion scan is our acquisition software that you can uh let's say download in your phone. It can be app store or Google play. Then the triion model is a PCbased software. The trial model is a perpetual license, permanent license without need of any subscription. This is very important and then on top of the basic version the client can buy additional module like the drawing to get uh plan vectors contours or forestry for forestry inventory. We observe a growing demand in forestry uh about use of slam and then a software suite that enable to do asset forest inventory. We also have um a module for mining for volume calculation and for uh uh section analysis particularly in underground mine. So for tunnel then we have the tri model a version available on the tablet of course is reduced version than the PC version but enable you to do post-processing on site. So when particularly for construction company uh when they need to process data quickly to do asset inventory or to do rapid response on the field the trial model the trial model on tablet enable you to get point cloud on the field and this uh let's say and this software on tablet is really appreciated by our client then we have the FJD tryon explorer to share online acrossuh across let's say the team the point cloud and and it also is a is a growing platform. So the the triumph P2 is compact solution but it's not only compact it's also flexible and modular. So here we have the standard version where you have the lighter body the the pocket size SDK two battery two grip battery available builtin camera. Okay. But then this on on top of this solution, we can add the panoramic camera. So you get the bracket and you can get an Insta X3. But also uh since this end of October, the Insta X5 thanks to the Insta X5, you can get a better result for Gossian splatting. So it's something that we render available to our client. So our client according to his needs is he can take let's say the P2 combo or just the standard version according to the to the need and the application you would like to to address.
