Video summary
The host presents a controversial tier list ranking every exclusive Nintendo Switch 2 game from best to worst, explicitly stating that his opinions are subjective and intended to spark debate rather than provide objective facts. He clarifies that his criteria go beyond personal enjoyment, focusing instead on what value a game provides to the player, its standing within its genre, and whether it justifies the high cost of the console itself. The ranking system is divided into distinct categories: "System Sellers" for titles essential enough to justify buying the $500 hardware, a tier for games he metaphorically "licks daily," a middle ground for solid but not essential titles, a prestigious category for "games of all time," and finally, a bottom tier for entries that should arguably be deleted from the eShop.
At the top of his list are heavy hitters like *Mario Kart World*, which he admits is bundled with every console and has an attach rate nearly one-to-one, making it a definitive system seller despite his personal desire for more free content. Other high-ranking titles include *Donkey Kong Bonanza*, which he praises as an underrated sequel to *Mario Odyssey* that feels like a genuine 3D adventure, and *Splatoon Raiders*, described as the most fun and unique entry in the franchise with deep post-game content. Interestingly, the host also places *Metroid Prime 4* and *Star Fox 2026* in his top tiers, acknowledging their quality despite his long-standing disappointment with the former and his initial childhood bias against rail shooters; he notes that *Metroid Prime 4* simply exists as a competent game that deserves respect, while *Star Fox* received a necessary modern update.
Moving down the ranks, the host expresses frustration with several titles that failed to meet expectations or felt like wasted development time. He places *Kirby Air Riders* in a lower tier, criticizing it for feeling redundant after *Mario Kart* and noting its steep learning curve made it less accessible than other racers. Similarly, he harshly criticizes *Chilling by the Fire*, an indie game that relies entirely on multiplayer interaction to be fun, comparing the single-player experience to waiting at the DMV. Other entries like *Dragax Drive*, a mouse-controlled basketball game, and *Yoshi's Story Book* are relegated to the bottom for being niche, boring, or simply not appealing to an adult audience, with the host jokingly suggesting that some games should be removed from the store entirely.
The video concludes with the host defending Nintendo's strategy of releasing a wide variety of unique games every month, contrasting this diversity with the lack of new releases on PlayStation and Xbox. He admits that while his list might upset fans of specific franchises like *Kirby* or *Pokémon*, he stands by his honest assessments, even if they seem harsh toward beloved IPs like *Pokémon ZA* and *Age of Imprisonment*. Ultimately, he emphasizes that the sheer variety of titles available on the Switch 2 is what makes the platform special, allowing gamers to find something they love regardless of whether it is a massive blockbuster or a smaller niche title.

Yeah, I decided that I'm going to rank
every single Nintendo Switch 2 game from
best to worst because, well, I have
enough friends. Why not make some
enemies? To qualify for the list, a game
just has to be exclusive to Nintendo
Switch 2. It doesn't have to be
developed by Nintendo. It just needs to
be only playable on a Switch 2 system.
The bigger the fanboy cult following,
the more likely I am to get cancelled.
Also, the more likely I am to be a jerk
and just want to upset people. I've done
a lot of these rankings and every time I
do, people always have something to say,
which I think that's the fun part about
ranking stuff because it's just my
opinion. And of course, you're going to
have your own. It baffles me how many
times I do this and people say you're
wrong. I'm not. Intrinsically and
inherently, I will not be wrong today
because it will be my opinion. And you
can have yours and you can leave yours
down below. But I will say I do try
pretty hard to be fairly unbiased. I
don't rank these just based on how much
fun I had with them. Oh golly gee, thank
you Nintendo. I rank them on what are
they doing? What are they doing for me?
What are they doing for everybody else?
What are they doing in its genre? What
is it doing on the console? Did we need
it? Oh, [snorts and laughter]
sorry Kobe. Or did we already have a
racing game that came out 2 months
earlier? As I said, I might make some
enemies. And you know what? I'm okay
with it. I give up. I'm just making
content for fun now. And I thought this
would be fun. And in fact, I've made it
even more fun because a lot of other
people would do a boring S A B C. What
is this? Preschool? Am I learning
letters and colors and numbers for the
first time? Or am I making a serious
video about Nintendo games in my 30s? I
don't know which is better. We have at
the top spot system sellers. These are
the games that are worth going out and
spending 4. What's that? It's going to
be $500 soon. I already knew that. But
I'm saying this like I'm learning it now
for the first time because it's
ridiculous that we live in the first
generation of consoles where prices are
going up and not down. And I can't
escape the hellscape that is gaming in
2026.
Cool. So, these are the ones that are
worth $500 buying a system. Next under
that we have I am licking that damn
cartridge daily, nightly, and ever so
rightly. It tastes so bad and I love it.
It's not a system seller, but it's
pretty dang good. It's so good. It's so
good. I'll tongue it. Next, we have B.
It's like a B. Next, we have a
prestigious category, and that is this
is just one of the games of all time.
Oh, it really is. It just it it exists.
Maybe I hit the credits, but maybe not.
Then we start getting into the stinkers
category. First we had this should have
been a game key card. It's kind of like
should have been an email, but in this
case, it just really didn't need the
full physical. Wasn't worth the data.
And then finally, my last category. It's
not a joke. It's not me trying to be
cute or funny. It's an actual plea and
outcry to Nintendo to delete that one
from the eShop. Just don't need it
anymore. I get it. Video game
preservation is a thing. Stop killing
games. All right. Maybe kill this one.
Maybe just this one time. Well, before I
start this video
for so I don't know if you heard that is
a big bag of Fablettics clothes.
Apparently it's denim month. These are
my tired old clothes that I typically
wear. I'm about to get fabtic. It's like
a Sailor Moon thing. [music]
You know, this is why I love Fablettics
cuz I I don't think I've ever in my life
had jeans with a print on them. Sick.
Okay, now I'm wearing the black denim.
My whole perception of fashion is
beginning to change and I feel like I am
understanding I've been dressing wrong
for a long time. I keep seeing like Tik
Toks and clips of people telling me to
stop with skinny jeans. I don't know.
It's I I went to my Chemical Romance the
other week. What do you want from me?
But these more baggy jeans are really
comfortable. They look fashionable, but
it's real denim. I've been working with
Fablettics now for a little bit and I've
just I've been wearing all of their
clothes. These have become my favorite
pants. They're like slacks. Although now
I have these jeans. I love this stripey
shirt. I wear it on the podcast. And
then just this white shirt, which I
should have ironed, but I didn't. And
that's the best part about Fabletics is
there's just so many different fits. You
can go baggy, you can go slack, you can
go tight if you want. Don't let the My
Chemical Romance thing dissuade you. If
you want to, you can do it on
Fablettics. And right now, if you're new
to Fablettics, you can get a pair of
their new denim jeans for just $29 when
you become a VIP. $29 for a pair of
really nice jeans. I actually put these
on for the sponsor spot and I think I'm
just going to wear them today to the
podcast. So, click that link in the
description and you can grab your first
pair for $29 when you become a VIP.
Thank you Fabletics for sponsoring this
video. I wear Fablettics throughout this
entire video.
Yes, I agree, baby. Okay, let's go back
to the video. All right, now that we
have our categories in place and you
know how serious this is and in no way
is this a comedic video that you can't
just have fun with and don't need to
take it to heart, let's go ahead and
start ranking some of these. I actually
didn't make this tier list. Well, I did
kind of. I stole one and then I changed
all the categories and added a few
games. Some of these I ain't even going
to bother with. Like I don't really feel
the need to rank the Virtual Boy in the
Gamecube app. That's not really what I'm
here for. I'm going to start with I
guess Mario Kart, right? It's the launch
title. So, what else am I going to start
with? I want to clarify this is not a
conversation about is it worth $80.
Price has nothing to do with this. I am
ranking these games based on the games
themselves and the content that is in
the video game. I want to make that very
clear. Mostly because I still don't
think Mario Kart is worth $80. You got
to do a lot to justify $80 for me. And
from day one, I've been saying 80 for
Mario Kart. Yeah, I don't know. I don't
know. Might need a bit more free content
before I change my mind. I cannot put it
in system seller. It quite literally is.
I can't even argue the point biasly or
unbiasedly. The attach rate of this game
is almost one to one for every Switch 2
console sold. And I know that's because
it was bundled in at the start, but that
just proves the point even more, I feel.
Also, it is Mario Kart intrinsically. It
is Nintendo's best selling IP. Like you
would almost think core Mario titles
would sell more than what is the
spin-off Mario Kart. No. Look at those
numbers. Mario Odyssey sold like half of
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. That's bananas.
Just get it up there already. Mario Kart
is a system seller. It is what it is. I
can't help you. It is. It's fine. It's
good. I like it. I do like it. I need
more content in it. Nintendo. Where's
the DLC? It's been a year and a half.
That was not the only launch game,
though. I'm seeing a few other ones
here. I kind of feel bad putting Bravely
Default Flying Fairy anywhere on this
list. It's not that it's a bad game.
It's that I like Bravely Default fine.
It's not my favorite series. It's
definitely going to be my favorite
Square Enix RPG. It's good. I know it's
good. I just didn't feel any need to
play the remake of it when it came out.
I also feel like it was extremely
forgettable. I can't imagine it sold
that well. So, it's definitely not a
system seller. I'm also not licking the
cartridge cuz that just feels kind of
gross. B for Bravely. It's definitely
better than one of the games of all
time. Oh, this is interesting. When I
made all the little goofy titles, I
didn't expect this one to actually be so
appropriate. Welcome to more like
welcome to a crappy game. Am I right?
Welcome to a crappy That's pretty good.
This game rubbed everyone the wrong way
over Reggie's dead body. Am I right? You
know, Reggie was the one that championed
for Wii Sports to be free on the Wii.
And Nintendo core were like, "We don't
we don't do stuff for free." I don't
know if that's a good idea. I don't know
how Reggie got his way. I guess his body
was just extremely powerfully ready for
that one. But having that packed in with
the Wii for sure made it the insane
record-breaking console seller that the
Wii was. But unfortunately, Reggie
wasn't there for us when Welcome Tour
came out, and we had to pay $10 for
this. For this, it's not even really a
game. It's an instructional manual on
just how the Switch 2 works. There's a
little bit of fun, maybe. I don't even
know if fun is the word I would use for
this. Pretty much one of the games of
all time. What really annoys me about
this game is there's technically paid
DLC even when you think about it.
Because as part of this instruction
manual, you can check out the Pro
Controller and the camera, but you have
to actually own those things to play
those parts of the game. So, not only do
you have to drop $10 if you want the
full experience, you also have to drop
another like 150. What for this? I could
put it in delete it from the eShop. But
at the same time, what about it should
have been a Game Key card? That category
was just supposed to be, oh, it's almost
bad enough to delete it. But honestly,
we didn't get a physical for this game.
And to get a physical instructional
booklet that is also a game that you can
play is actually kind of cool. And I
might have been less mad about having to
pay for it. So, actually, I think quite
literally Welcome Tour should have been
a game key cart and also sucks. I don't
know how anyone could be upset. Let's do
Splatoon Raiders. No, I'm going to make
you wait for that one. We got to do
Donkey Kong. Not a launch title, but
pretty close to it. Just a month after
launch, we got a $70 Mario Odyssey team
sequel game that
ooh banana. I love Donkey Kong Bonanza.
It's hard not to recommend it as the
goto game when people tell me if I get a
Switch 2, what's the first buy? I always
go Donkey Kong Bonanza. And not because
it's my favorite. There's a couple of
games coming up in this video that I
have more fun with and I would also
recommend, but Nintendo to me
intrinsically is Donkey Kong Bonanza.
The exploration, the platforming, the 3D
adventure, just the fact that it does
feel like a Mario Odyssey type game.
It's such a fun game that in my opinion
is also underrated a bit. It's weird to
talk sales at this point and it doesn't
really even matter, but Donkey Kong
Bonanza has only sold like 5 million.
And I say only 5 million is fantastic.
It's great. But we're talking about what
is technically a sequel follow-up to
Mario Odyssey, which sold 30 million.
And Bonanza sales have kind of just
dropped off a donkey cliff. What's a
donkey cliff? I don't want people to
stop buying this game. I don't want
people to stop seeing this game as it
is, which is a system seller. really do
love that game. The DLC is fun, too.
Donkey Kong wasn't the only Nintendo
game that came out shortly after the
Switch 2 release. There was another
great classic, a game that I'm sure
everybody has thought about almost every
day since its release, and definitely
hasn't already been lost to the
obscurity of time, Drax Drive. I still
remember going to the Nintendo New York
hands-on experience before the Switch 2
came out and I saw a line of people
playing Dragax Drive early and it was
loud. It was like 10 people with two
JoyCons just slamming them onto the
table. Every now and then you'd see one
go like this because their arms were
just killing them. But if you want to
build some beefy veiny forearms, play
Drag X Drive for 20 minutes. I still
don't really know what Nintendo was
thinking here with this one beyond we
need a game that uses mouse controls and
only mouse controls, but it seemed like
their thought process just ended there.
Some follow-up questions in game design
I would have had would have been, well,
is it fun? Don't worry about that. Well,
is it full of vibrant color in life like
the rest of our game? No, we don't need
to. Just don't worry about any of that.
I know our console has HDR for the first
time, but this just it's not about
vibrant colors. What are you not getting
about this? It's supposed to be a drab
and droll boring basketball game where
you're forced to use mouse controls. You
nailed it, Nintendo. Uh, delete it from
the eShop. I don't know. This is ARMS 2.
No one's talking about it. I got to
imagine no one's playing it anymore. We
don't need it. No one's going to miss
it. Free up some space for it for
another game. Just get it out of there.
So, Metroid introduced psychic abilities
in Prime 4, and it did a number on my
psyche, that's for sure. I have a whole
review on the channel about how
disappointed I was in Metroid Prime 4.
Really, honestly, one of my more
in-depth and thoughtful reviews. I
wasn't just ranting to rant. I really
did have a lot of issues intrinsically
and and quantifiably in almost every
element of Metroid Prime 4. So, you can
go watch that video if you want. I don't
think it needs to be deleted from the
eShop. I mean, I hate it. We waited 8
years for a game that couldn't even sell
a million copies because nobody cared.
It so clearly isn't a fun game. So much
so that no one wanted to spend $70 on
it. So, it ain't going at the top, tell
you that much. I honestly can't think of
a better place to put it than one of the
games of all time. There's really not
that much else to say. It really just
exists. And I think even people that are
fans of this game will agree that it is
just one of the games of all time. It's
not doing anything special. And it's not
bad enough for me to want to, you know,
not own it physically given the option.
So,
all right. What can I lick here? What
can I lick? Ooh, I've been known to be a
furry. Lot bunny is in my team every
Pokemon game. Have you seen Lot Bunny?
That's what it's called, right? the
Pokemon. I don't need to clarify. I
should just move on. Star Fox.
What am I doing? What is What was that?
Isn't that the sound from the start of
like 20th Century Fox
underdog? What a what an underf fox. No
interest in this game. I had not even a
whiff. Never was a fan of Star Fox. On
this channel and on my podcast over the
years and the entire time I've had an
online presence, I've always said on
rail shooters
Can't name you one that I like. I looked
inward towards myself after the new Star
Fox release to try and figure out why I
didn't like Star Fox 64 back in the day.
And I think I figured it out. As a kid,
when I got my 64, I got it with Ocarina
of Time. And it was revolutionary for
me. Like all of a sudden, I could go on
this big open 3D adventure. I was
literally off the rails that I had been
stuck to my entire life as an NES gamer.
So then trying to play a game like Star
Fox 64, I was like, why am I being
limited again? Why am I stuck in one
place? I thought this console was
capable of so much more. I just I didn't
get it. But of course, I grabbed the new
Star Fox when it released and I just
loved it. This game really needed the
fresh coat of paint. There's no way I
was going back to the original now in my
30s and falling in love with it where I
didn't before. But they did such a great
job, a gorgeous job at bringing this
game up to 2026 standard for a Nintendo
console. Sure, the character designs are
kind of goofy. Fox is supposed to be a
young hot shot, but kind of looks like
he's old and haggot and about to head
into retirement, but none of that really
bothered me while I was playing. I just
had a great time, finished it twice to
get the secret ending, played a little
bit of battle mode, and then never
touched it again. So, you know, like 5
hours, 6 hours for $50. But I said I
wasn't going to talk about price, but I
will consider the time. It is not a
system seller. I'm not recommending
anyone go out, spend a half a grand for
6 hours of fun, but I in my right mind
could not put it at B or anywhere under
that. I loved the new Star Fox and I'm
licking the damn cartridge. It's kind of
like a, you know, like if the top one
was S, this is pretty much a. You get
it? Great. So, we have a game in every
category now. Perfect. That actually
gives us a pretty good bar from where to
go from here. If I get stumped, I can
just compare it to one of these games in
each of the categories. So, what do I
compare Kirby Air Riders to? You know,
other than a waste of $70. Oo, I can
hear the Kirby fans. Look at this guy.
He hates Kirby. I don't hate Kirby. You
know what? I do hate Sakurai wasting 5
years of his life to develop something
WE ALREADY HAD. I don't understand. And
even Sakurai himself said when he
introduced the game for the first time
that he felt it was silly to make it
when we just got Mario Kart. And he
wasn't wrong. Certainly not a system
seller. In fact, we've recently seen the
numbers and it hasn't broke 2 million,
which again isn't bad. I mean, that's
not a bad number. It's relatively high,
I guess, in the industry of video games.
But at the same time, Big Walk just sold
a million in 2 days. So, what are we
talking about here? This is Kirby and
it's Sakcharai of all people and it's a
new Nintendo system and it just didn't
move people. There's so many reasons for
that in my mind. Everything is so
expensive already. People are paying so
much money for this console and $80 for
Mario Kart. When it comes to getting
another game, they want to dip their
toes into the video game market and get
something a little different, some
variety in their gaming. They're not
going to go for another cart racer for
70. If you look, and I'm going to prove
this to you, if you look at those same
quarterly sales, it actually shows you
the attach rate of video game software
sales to hardware sales. And it actually
kind of looks like on average, every
Nintendo Switch 2 owner has like one
third-p partyy game and like one first
party game for the system, roughly. Most
gamers don't buy a bunch of games every
month or even every year. So to make
your second purchase just the same thing
you already have doesn't make a lot of
sense. And here's where we get even more
for real. I know it's a Sakurai game,
which means it's filled with attention
and detail and love and so many little
hidden things and just so many options.
And it's kind of crazy that every
character has unique animations just
like in Smash, you know, every character
has a unique way of interacting with the
items and the carts, but at the same
time, there's just it doesn't feel like
a game that should have been $70. I
mean, I'm really at like 50 or 60 at the
most. And it's not that the game isn't
fun. I mean, I don't find it fun. I do
understand people that do. It's very
unique. And I think it definitely has
its niche of people that love it, and
that's great, but it's not as easy to
pick up and play and enjoy as something
like Mario Kart is. There's definitely a
learning curve here with Kirby. It
honestly might have been the first party
game I played the least. I put in a
couple hours and just
like I know I was pretty harsh on it
there, but again, I'm using everything
here as a bar. And I do think even
though I finished Metroid, I think it
offers more than what Metroid does. It's
just not for me. I can't in good
conscious say it's just one of the games
of all time. I think it offers a little
bit more than that by a little. So, I'm
going to put it in uh B. And I feel
really okay with that. I really did want
to do every exclusive Nintendo or not,
but I feel a little bad because the non-
Nintendo ones are like indies. So, I
just I don't want to be mean to an
indie, but I really don't know what they
were thinking when they developed
Chilling by the Fire. I've talked about
this game before. Well, I went down the
rabbit hole of wondering why a video
game developer that previously had only
ever worked on board games was given a
Nintendo Switch 2 development unit to
make an exclusive Switch 2 game pretty
close to launch. It just seemed like
maybe there was better ways to invest
that money and create something unique.
It it this game really only feels like
it exists for the purpose of actually
using the camera in some sort of
meaningful way. You know how Big Walk is
a ton of fun because it uses proxy chat,
but the actual game itself is enjoyable.
Chilling by the fire is that if the game
itself was not fun. If the game itself
was so insanely tedious and mediocre and
dril and boring that the only way to
have any fun is to hope that the friends
you bring with you have some sort of
personality. Cuz otherwise you're just
stuck in a really boring game talking to
boring people. It's it's essentially the
video game equivalent of being at the
DMV. I'd rather go to the DMV. At least
I get something done while I'm there. I
get a new license and a picture that
looks worse than all the other ones I've
ever had because I'm getting old.
Chilling by the fire is uh deleted from
the eShop. Like how I said I feel bad
cuz it's an indie game and then I
roasted it harder. Then you roast
nothing in the Well, you might get
marshmallows actually. I don't remember.
I've blocked most of the experience from
my brain. Pokemon ZA. All right. Okay. I
mean I Well, clearly I wasn't impressed.
I expected uh much better from Pokemon
ZA. Again, not that it's the worst thing
I've ever played, but I've played
better, and that better was Legends
Archus. I loved Archus. Archus saved
Pokémon for me. After just generations
of hating almost every Pokémon
experience I tried to play, after being
such a big fan in the early days,
Legends Archa showed me that there was
some sort of passion and talent left at
Game Freak, at least towards their
Pokémon series. It was different. It was
fresh. It was unique. It gave me so many
things I've wanted from this series for
so long, like real time capturing and
battling baked all into a Monster
Hunterlike experience. It just m So when
I heard they were doing it again, but in
a city, my mind ran wild. I didn't love
that it was just stuck in one kind of
small city. But in my mind, I thought,
well, at least that gives them the
opportunity to really flesh out this
city, to create a realistic and
meaningful city where you can enter a
ton of buildings and you can go to a
bunch of shops. And yes, it's a small
light experience, but we've never had a
large scale city experience from a
Pokémon game. WW, I don't know at what
point you want that sound effect to come
in. SHALL I DO IT?
I also had an issue with them not even
committing to the one mechanic in the
game I actually liked, which was scaling
up the ranks by doing the night battles,
because you do like a few of those and
then the game just goes, "Oh, well, we
were going to go from Z to A." you know,
like the title of the game, a Pokemon
ZA, which I thought that was really cool
and unique, but at some point they went,
"We're not even going to commit to that.
We don't even have time to fully flesh
or develop that out. You thought the
city looked bleak? We're going to skip
like 17 letters in this sucker." I
didn't even mention the windows. It's
also not as boring as Metroid. You know,
it's Pokémon. The collecting aspect of
it, finding the ones you like, the
nostalgia, it carries it. I don't know.
It really is. It's almost as bad as
Metroid. Bear with me here. I'm just
going to see how it looks.
You know, there was like NPCs [music]
that didn't move and pop in and out of
them, too. You walk close and like a
bunch of them disappear that the city
felt so fake. All right, hold on. Kirby
Air Riders was everything it was
promised to be, and I would say more.
[music] Yes, it's niche. Yes, I didn't
really like it. But I feel like Sakurai
promised a lot and overd delivered on
his promise. It might not be for me, but
it's a competent video game.
One of the games of all time. That's
Hyrole Warriors Age of Calamity. It's
supposed to be Age of Imprisonment,
isn't it? Age of Imprisonment is
It's one of the games of all time. I
don't know. Hold on. I know exactly
where I'm going to put it. I'm going to
put it in B. And let me put it there now
and explain why. It's not licking the
damn cartridge good. It's just not I'm
not every final morsel. It's actually
the first Zelda game, if you want to
call it that. I mean, I know it doesn't
even have Zelda in the title, but it's
the first Zelda game I didn't finish.
And for a lot of it, for me, it's
because it just wasn't really fun. I
liked that Age of Calamity broke the
mold a little bit. It told the prequel
story to Breath of the Wild, but it did
it in this weird trippy timetraveling
split universe way where you didn't know
what to expect. You knew the story
already. You played Breath of the Wild.
So, having that story given back to you,
but in a different way, introducing
these really cute and unique characters
like the little egg guy, it kept me
guessing throughout the adventure, and I
had a lot of fun playing as all my
favorite characters from the game, like
Link and Zelda and everyone else. When
it came to Age of Imprisonment, I was
looking forward to the sequel, but they
tried to make it as canon as possible.
And again, we already saw in Tears of
the Kingdom many of these story beats,
and we had the basic idea and premise of
what happened. It's the same cut scenes.
It's the same story. The only character
I really knew was Zelda. And then these
guys were there. Who? Oh, Typhan. That's
my guy. And at some point, I realized I
know this story. The construct Link was
the coolest thing about the game. It did
feel like a weird way of just cramming
Link in the game without putting Link in
the game. There's definitely a lot to
like about the game. I'm not saying it's
one of the games of all time. So, it
just has to default to be. And I'm way
less apologetic about that one because
I'm Zelda man. I love Zelda with a
passion, a burning fiery passion in my
heart. I am the fan base.
Wow. You know what? That feels good. I'm
kind of scared of, you know, Splatoon
fans and Kirby fans. But I am the Zelda.
Who's going to attack me? But me, guys,
we've had a lot of fun here today. I
hope. But let's stop messing around.
Let's stop beating around the bush
because in that bush, I have noticed
it's wiggling and writhing. There might
be a Pokémon in here. Is this a habitat?
Are we talking about Popia?
Yes,
guys. It's already a game key card. I
can't put it there. That wouldn't make
sense. Picopia is legitimately my
favorite Nintendo Switch 2 game. It's
got to be hard to beat it. I mean, I We
have Ocarina of Time remake coming out
this year, and for all intents and
purposes, if that doesn't beat it, then
Nintendo did something wrong. That
should be my favorite thing ever because
the thing it's based on is my favorite
thing ever. But as of right now, Bopia
is both mine and Kim's favorite Switch 2
experience, and it's one of the most fun
games I have played in years. I'm fully
addicted. Bubbly Basin just came out,
and I am so far bubbled in that basin.
You wouldn't even believe it. I can't
not just spend hours when I pick that
game up. It's It's overwhelmingly
incredible. I have a whole video on it.
It's Pokemon. It is a system seller and
I would recommend it to absolutely
anybody of all ages, genders, races,
every I don't know why I'm specify and I
feel like this could get messy. I'm
going to pull out.
That's what she said.
>> Oh my god.
>> No, that's what he said. Yeah, Fast
Fusion. I don't really even I mean it is
an exclusive. It just feels weird to put
it anywhere. It's fine. Should I It's
fine. It's B. Fine. It's B. Fire
Emblem's not out yet. Although I will
tell you right now, I'm pretty sure
that's going to be a system seller for
me. Or at the very least, I'm licking
the cartridge. I mean, have you seen
Have you se I'm licking a lot. I don't
know what's wrong with me. Ocarina as we
talk I mean Ocarina we we can that one
I'm pretty confident in. I know it's not
out yet, but to future proof this video
just a little bit.
Wait.
Ooh, Yoshi. Oh, you know what? When I
said Kirby Air Riders was the game I
played the least, that's a lie. I'm now
realizing that Yoshi exists. If you're
like a little baby, like like if you're
like like like six years old. Oh, Yoshi.
Yoshi in the book. The story book game,
whatever it Yeah, that one. Just perfect
little babies game. Just perfect little
babies game. That's such a great game
for a little baby. I'm 35. This game is
essentially a kids book come to life.
It's cute. It's harmless. You can't take
damage. There's no risk. There's some
reward. I got very bored playing. I got
so bored. Not bored. Bored's not the
word. It's just I realized it. I'm too
old. I wasn't mad. I wasn't angry. I
wasn't like, "Oh, this wasn't what I
wanted it to be." To be honest, it was a
bit expected because Yoshi games have
slowly been getting easier and easier
and easier as I feel like Nintendo are
transitioning this series to be more
child-friendly, to be more for kids. You
know, Nintendo's for all ages and their
games are inclusive and anyone can play
them, but they definitely seem to target
certain games at certain age ranges. You
have adults, teenagers, kids, and the
Yoshi games are really just getting
shoved in that direction. I don't think
it's a bad game. And BT stand is for
bad. So, it's in B. That doesn't make
sense. It doesn't matter. Mario Tennis
Fever.
It's tennis.
Okay. I I believe we have one game left.
I'm not doing Breath of the Wild Tears
of the Those are Switch games. I know
they got Switch two releases. Whatever.
It's different, you know. And I'm also
I'm not doing all the DLC, the Mario
Wonder DL little P package add-on, the
Mario Party Jamberee DLC. that was
really just nothing, you know, and
there's no point. I don't care. It's
fine. I'm going to focus on what
matters. I'm going to focus on the big
releases like Splatoon Raiders. [cough]
I reviewed Splatoon Raiders recently and
I said absolutely everything I wanted to
about the game in that video and I
really didn't have anything else to say.
And that might sound like I'm joking if
you watch the video, but it's actually
true. I like the game a lot. It's really
fun. It's a fresh take on Splatoon. It
tried something different and unique,
which I think Nintendo needs to do more
of, but that's just Splatoon. Ever since
Splatoon has been splatting, it's
Nintendo trying something different and
unique, and it's just working. I really
wish Nintendo would try more weird
things like this. Splatoon Raiders is
easily my favorite thing that Splatoon
has ever produced, and it's just it's so
fun. I feel like anyone can pick it up
and play it. kids can pick it up and
have a great time with it, but there's
also so much challenge when you start
replaying some of those harder levels.
There's so much postgame content, yet it
doesn't hold my attention in long play
sessions. That said, it is one of the
best Nintendo Switch 2 exclusives. And
for some people, it might even be a
system seller. For me, I really can't
give it that moniker. I'm not telling
everyone anyone to rush out and buy a
$500 console for Splatoon Raiders.
However, I will say if I had to, if I
was forced to, if it was something that
I was being made to do, if you told me,
"Hey, you can never play this game again
unless you this cartridge
right now, I'll tell you, well, that
sucker isn't very big, so it's not going
to go too deep down my throat when I
lick the heck out of it. [laughter] I'm
saltier than the salmons that splash
upon the Splatoon Splaten shore when it
comes to [laughter]
this game right now. But I can't stress
enough how much I really do love it. I
really do enjoy this game. I will say
this, this list is split up into like S
tier system sellers, right? And then
games that are really good under that.
So, I do think that a game like Mario
Kart World is a system seller over
Splatoon. However, I would say Mario
Kart World isn't nearly as fun as
Splatoon Raiders. H
I really like the list. I actually think
I nailed it almost. That is my ranking
of currently and Ocarina because I'm
just taking a guess. Every Nintendo
Switch 2 exclusive game from best to
worst. How did I do? Here's the best
things about opinions. Everyone's got
one. What's the expression? Honestly,
this is how I feel. These are my
favorites. These are the ones I really
like. So on and so forth. But it's just
me, you know, just me. Just a little old
guy. And I get it. Like I'm the guy
that's making the video. So I'm the guy
that's pissing you off [laughter] that
this isn't how you want it to be. But
the great thing is you can just leave
yours down below and tell me how wrong I
am. Also, while you're down there, why
don't you like the video? Even if you
don't, do me a solid. Also, and I never
talk about this. You could you could
subscribe. I don't remember when I asked
last. It's probably been a while. But
you know what else has been a while? The
amount of time I've been stuck on 1.9
million. Do you know what that feels
like? Pretty good. Honestly, I'm really
proud of everything we've accomplished,
and I'll never be upset about anything.
This is a huge milestone, and I take it
not for granted at all. However, there
is a little bit of me that can't help
but stare at this for the last year and
a half and wonder what it would be like
TO JUST ROUND IT OUT. I have a little
bit of OCD and I would just like if it
was a whole number. I don't need
anything after that. I'm not expecting
to ever see a three, but we are on
Nintendo Switch 2 now. So, two is two is
my lucky number. Come on. of all the
videos to beg you to subscribe probably
shouldn't be the one where I uh I'm not
even I can't even I mean what are you
mad about? I'll leave you with this. I
think the coolest part about Nintendo by
far is just their variety. We are so
spoiled as gamers. This console's only
been out for a year and a half and it
feels like we're getting a brand new
game every single month. I mean I just
put like 15 of them on a tier list.
That's literally like one a month. And
they're all so different and they're all
so unique and they all stand out to
different communities, different
players, different people, and different
walks of life. I don't need to be a huge
fan of Kirby Air Riders and Metroid
Prime 4 because I've got Splatoon
Raiders and Picopia. I don't need to be
addicted to Mario Kart World because I'm
already looking forward to being
addicted to Fortunes Wave when it comes
out. I'm honestly, and I'm just going to
shill for a second, so thankful for
Nintendo as a company, for everything
they do when it comes to just being fun
and different and prioritizing enjoyable
games and giving us releases all the
time. I think PlayStation and Xbox has
like one game between them. So, as I say
at the end of every video, this is me on
top of an elephant.
