Video summary
The video opens with a cheerful invitation to embrace the spirit of Purple Friday, a recurring segment dedicated to healing and inspiration rooted in the legacy of Prince. The host encourages viewers to wear purple and write down the central message: "Nothing compares to you." This phrase serves as a powerful life coaching reminder that comparison is a natural but harmful human tendency that leads to judgment and a downward spiral of negative self-talk. By resisting the urge to measure oneself against past versions or the projected images others create, individuals can protect their innate sense of worthiness, a core theme cultivated over the last decade through this healing journey.
The discussion delves into the complexities of time and reality, suggesting that our current experiences are influenced by various timelines and energetic particles from other realities, which can sometimes feel confusing or heavy. The host emphasizes that true inspiration and hope exist right now, urging viewers to reconnect with their center point of love, compassion, and empathy despite external allergens and toxins that try to pull them away. It is crucial to recognize that many negative feelings we experience are not our own but are projections from others who are simply trying to release their own bad feelings; accepting these as someone else's burden prevents us from falling into cycles of feeling inadequate or unworthy.
To maintain mental clarity and emotional balance, the transcript offers practical advice for anyone feeling overwhelmed or "crabby" in the moment. Viewers are encouraged to take a break, go for a walk, listen to music, or simply stand in a bathroom to breathe and acknowledge the surrounding purple energy of light that folds around them. This practice helps create a safe and sacred space where one can forgive themselves quickly for any negative self-talk and realize that no single moment in time defines a person's entire life or multiple lifetimes. Ultimately, the message is one of empowerment, reminding everyone to acknowledge their own power and worth while living fully in the now, free from the labels imposed by disappointment or external criticism.

Hey PRDs, it's purple Friday. As I
mentioned earlier in the month of April,
we're going to keep going into May to
help spring into spring, you know, that
spring thing.
So,
today on our purple Friday, I hope
you're wearing purple by the way.
Our letter is N for our inspiration.
>> [snorts]
>> And this one's going to be a little bit
sassy. Well, not sassy.
I wanted to be sassy, but he corrected
me.
>> [laughter]
>> Let me just say that.
Okay. So, it's
nothing compares to you.
Nothing compares to you.
Nothing compares to you. Write that
down.
Write that down in your journal, your
purple notepad
with your purple gel pen.
Nothing compares to you.
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing. Which is a great
reminder from a life coaching
perspective to not compare. But it's
natural. It's human nature for us to
compare. We've talked about this before,
but comparison leads to judgement.
And judgement leads to a downward spiral
of negative self-talk.
So, we don't want that because it will
derail you from recognizing your worth.
And your worthiness is something that
Prince's legacy has imbued to us. It has
been part of this healing journey for
the last 10 years is worthiness, your
self-worth. And we've talked about love,
we've talked about compassion, not just
toward other people as you as the purple
empath that you are, but toward
ourselves, inward.
This today here now
is a reminder. Nothing compares to you.
Nothing.
So, it is your role, your responsibility
to resist the urge to compare yourself.
Either yourself today to your past self,
or yourself today to other versions of
yourself that other people have
projected upon you
throughout all this time.
And in And perhaps recognizing
that you might have past life influences
in this timeline, because timelines are
crunchy and munchy, and they are like
all over the place, man. There are so
much little particles and dust bunnies
coming in from other
realities that you've experienced, and
it can be confusing,
and also conflicting, and then you can
find yourself comparing and feeling
worse,
lower,
heavier energetically,
because it's not just the nature of what
you're experiencing or have expressed in
this timeline, but it's other timelines
that you're feeling a sense of
potentially responsibility for, which
might lead to a feeling of failure or
disappointment, or just a level of
heaviness, because you're not there
right now.
And as we understand time, time is
relative,
and it is in the now. Ooh, another
N-word. Now. Write that one down. Now, N
O W.
Now.
Right here and right now. So, it is
extremely important to your sanity
and for your ability to soak up the
nutrients of inspiration in this time
because there is inspiration. There is
hope here. There is. Doesn't feel like
it a lot because we are bombarded by
outside influences,
allergens, toxins in the environment
energetically and it does take us off
what we know is our center point. Our
center point of that purple connectivity
to our roots of love, compassion and
empathy that we have been
cultivating
and healing from past wounding
because of this legacy the last 10 years
that we have all had in exchange
lots and lots and lots of opportunities
to work with
our worthiness.
Acknowledging
our personal worth, just innate worth.
This is some of the stuff that we've
learned because of the legacy of Prince.
And yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. Oh, he was
just a musician, just a creative,
just a guy that wore heels.
He was somebody that had
lots of life choices that you yourself
and myself also might find questionable
and yet at the same time when we invoke
comparison,
that's where the confusion comes in.
That's where we get confused.
Feel the purity of your heart space and
what is what is now, now in this moment.
How do you feel right now? How do you
feel right now in this moment? And by
the way, if you feel like crap right
now,
give it a minute.
Stand up, get off your duff, go for a
walk,
go listen to some great music.
Take a break if you're at work if you
can.
Or take a breather. Walk to the
bathroom, stand in the bathroom for a
minute or two and just breathe into your
body. Acknowledge a beautiful purple
energy of light around you encompassing
you and folding you. Create your own
safe and sacred space as you're moving
through the day and recognizing that you
might be getting handed all sorts of
crap from people,
forms of comparison, forms of examples
of lacking self-worth. Because often
times people will pass their own bad
feelings onto others because they're
trying to just get rid of it.
I'm not faulting anybody for doing that
because I think it's just a natural
thing is to blow your top, to release.
Now, the way that you do that, of
course, there's consequences
as there should be.
But for you, you the person in the
moment of now
to not buy into the comparison or the
confusion or the cycle of lack, of less
than, of I'm not worthy, I'm not good
enough.
There must be something wrong with me
cuz this person is yelling at me about
their bill.
There must be something wrong with me
because my boss is in a bad mood. No,
the comparison, again, creates an
internal dialogue of self-defeating
energetic that comes from
disappointment, past feelings of
failure, from other people's projections
in their lives and their feelings of
failure coming at you. It's not yours
even in the first place nine times out
of 10 and yet we own it as though it's
our responsibility because why? Because
we're empathic, caring, compassionate,
healing people who seem to sometimes get
really crabby, annoyed, and jaded.
And so maybe the person that's giving it
to you,
the crabbiness,
is exactly like you.
And they're having a moment in the now.
And maybe that's you. You're that person
having a moment in the now. Forgive
yourself as quickly as you can.
And remember
that nothing, absolutely nothing, no
moment in time defines you.
No moment in time can label you for the
rest of your life or multiple lifetimes,
and it sure as hell feels like that,
doesn't it? Yes, it does. Yes, I
understand the reality of this because I
carry it myself. I understand the
wounding of that. I do.
I personally do.
And I know you do.
So forgive quickly yourself
for the negative self-talk, and remember
nothing compares to you. Nothing.
And in this now moment, just forgive
yourself. Forgive.
Forgive.
And acknowledge
your power
and your worth.
This is Bridget,
formerly known as the purple medium.
Thank you so much for sharing purple
Fridays with me, and look forward to
connecting with you next week.
I hope I've inspired your spirit, filled
you with some hope and encouraged you to
live your life. This is your life after
all, and you get to live it
in the now.
