Private Baseball Coach Makes $3,600 UPFRONT with this simple referral system

Video summary

The core subject of this discussion is how private baseball coaches can secure significant upfront payments by implementing effective referral systems, as demonstrated by a coach who recently received $3,600 from a single new lead generated through such a program. The presenter argues that top-performing coaches consistently attract new clients every month not merely due to talent or marketing luck, but because they have established robust referral programs designed specifically for recurring growth. Rather than relying on sporadic cash transactions which make tracking rewards difficult, these successful businesses utilize structured payment systems and clear incentives that keep the idea of referring friends constantly at the top of mind for existing parents. The video outlines two primary strategies to build this momentum. The first method focuses on creating a high-impact experience within the initial 21 days after enrollment, culminating in a progress call where results are showcased to validate the parent's investment and leave them feeling enthusiastic about their choice. While they are still riding that positive emotional wave, coaches ask for referrals with a time-sensitive incentive, such as offering free access to an exclusive summer camp valued at $350 if three or four new families sign up within nine days. This approach is highly efficient because it leverages the parent's current satisfaction and immediately provides them with specific names of friends they can text about the opportunity, turning one successful client interaction into multiple new prospects instantly. The second strategy involves integrating referral rewards directly into a recurring subscription model, such as offering discounts or free months for every new family referred within a billing cycle. For instance, bringing in one new referral could result in half-price next month, while two referrals might secure the service completely free of charge for that period. The presenter emphasizes that these types of dynamic incentives are nearly impossible to execute effectively with simple cash payments via apps like Venmo and require a formalized system where clients receive tangible value immediately upon referring others. By ensuring parents always know they get something in return, coaches transform their existing community into an active sales force without needing direct intervention from the coach during every interaction. Ultimately, the conclusion is that these referral systems are not just one-time setups but ongoing operational habits that drive sustainable business growth and revenue stability. The success of the featured coach earning thousands upfront serves as proof that when parents feel validated by their progress and rewarded for introducing friends to a program they love, word-of-mouth becomes a powerful engine for acquisition. For coaches looking to replicate this level of consistency and financial gain, the advice is clear: move away from ad-hoc cash deals and instead implement structured programs where rewards are automatic and tied to recurring payments, ensuring that new client generation happens naturally every single month through trusted relationships.

All right, this baseball coach that I'm working with got a $3,600 upfront payment from a brand new referral. And today I want to show you the power of a good referral program. A good referral program is designed to bring you new clients every single month. And the top coaches that I work with, what happens is they get new clients every single month because they have a good referral program set up. Now, in this video, I'm just going to break down a simple way that you can do this coming up in the future. So, this way this can benefit you and your business. Now, if you wanted me to like actually customize this down to your business, that's where you work with me with this sort of stuff. All right? That's where That's why one of the reason why coaches hire me and work with me for a year is cuz we instill these systems in their business and they just happen all the time. All right? So, here's a simple way you can set up a referral program in your business. I'm going to give you two options. The first one is really simple. It's right after someone signs up for your program, in the first 21 days, we look to get a specific outcome with them. And then we have a progress call with that parent on day 21 after they join the your program. >> [snorts] >> And on that call, we talk about the progress that their child is making. We talk about how committed they've been and we show them the result. Before you guys started, this where you were. Here's where you are now, just 21 days later. So, the parent is on a high and that is validating their investment with you. They're like, "Man, I'm glad we paid for this thing." And when they're on that high, then what we do is we ask for a referral that happens within the next 9 days. So, we give them something very exclusive and something that is time sensitive that has to be done over the next 9 days. And an example of doing this is um all right, Ms. Jones, here's this is here's how this is set up. Uh if you guys want to uh get our summer camp for free, it's valued at $350. If you guys want to show up for free, all you got to do is put me on a text thread with three or four other parents that you know that will be a good fit for our program, and I'll take care of everything else. If anyone signs up, you guys will get to come to our camp in August for free. Doing something like that is so easy for you to do. And guess what? When you get off that call, you have three or four new prospects on a text that you can just like immediately reach out to. And that is one simple method to install something like this into your business. Now, the second way of doing it is you just have it set up like let's say you have like monthly subscriptions for your business where clients are paying $200 a month. You could do it to where uh you bring us a a new referral, and next month you get half off. You bring us two referrals in one month, next month you get for free. Like you can have simple things like that with your business. It's impossible to do that sort of stuff if you're doing cash transactions, even if you're doing on Venmo. I wouldn't even do it that way. Um you need to have like a structured recurring type of payment option. Go down in the link below, you'll be able to see the exact system that I recommend that is going to be you know, the thing to use if you want to structure something like that. But this coach here that I'm showing you made $3,600 up front because he has his own referral system in place. And it's not something that we just set up, and you know, we never talk to the parents about. We talk to the parents about all this all the time, and it's top of mind for them to bring him new customers because they get something in return. That's it for today's video. If you want more of my one-on-one help, uh go below. If you want to see more proof, more case studies, I have like I think 120 of these already on YouTube.
