What is going on everyone? It is B A and LaMont. We're here for Power Book III Raising Kanan Season 5 Episode 8, the season finale. Unconditional love. Everything has led up to this. If it wasn't obvious already, this is going to contain all the spoilers. The episode been out a week ago. So, if you're watching this, you know, spoiler spoiler spoilers. LaMont, I was pissed off, disappointed, angry, upset, irate with the conclusion of episode 7. I was saying to myself, why in the world did they have to kill my favorite character, Marvin? It was written on the wall, but I was really hoping that he was going to ride into the sunset. I stated that I was going to quit the show. I may not be back and this is just too much. And this episode here was a lot as well. But damn it, I did not see this coming. This was very unexpected to me. The ending, I was shocked. I was like, this is some good writing. This is some great writing. Um even though I still have my feelings that I did at the end of episode 7, I have to admit, I was like, damn, this was even though I don't like it, they can only go so far as far as the story because this is a prequel. It has to lead into the original show. One question. Um I I I'll save that for the end, but I I'll just say that this was a shocking conclusion that I did not expect. And I enjoyed it and and the the show um in most accounts, not all, has my respect. Um Where are you at with this conclusion? Your impression, sir. >> I loved it, man. Um I thought that basically this was the only way they could conclude the story if someone was going to take down Rock. It would not have been a good writing in my opinion if someone outside the family had took her out. The only person that I could have seen to be able to do that was Unique and I'm a little disappointed we didn't get to see him and his family again, but other than that I feel like it was spot on and the way they ended allows you to know why it was so easy for adult Kanan to do what he did in the regular Power show. >> You know, I completely forgot about Unique. I did and he's somebody that I wanted to see earlier on in the season like hey when he left like hey will we ever see Unique again and you stated yeah I'm pretty sure he's going to be back. I'm confident and he he didn't pop up. I damn I I was not thinking about Unique until now and so I guess Unique is one of the smartest characters in the show because he made it. He he he's living with his kids with his wife the mother of his children. You know his mama's off to the side doing her thing kicking Rock off the stoop. So shout out to you to Unique. Joey badass always say that in this lifestyle you either end up dead or in jail. Well, Unique is not dead or in jail. He may not have well he have some money. He probably took some he you know he had some stuff saved I'm I'm sure uh yeah so yeah he he made it out man. But any some other people didn't make it out. Peno Bernardi Mr. Cipher he did not make it out. Lamont, what are your thoughts there sir? >> Peno [laughter] This Peno should have went and sat with a therapist, my brother. >> Yeah. >> He had issues. >> Good good observation. >> He >> [laughter] >> He had childhood issues of being a [ __ ] nerd, okay? Dude. And that created a rivalry with one of his five bosses, and Stefano, because Stefano was the one getting all the girls, all the panty drawers. Peno was the smart one. The only thing he was getting was A's and B's, which is fine. But when you're that young, it don't feel fine, because you want to do the things you want you want to connect with females. >> Right. Right. It's normal. You know. >> This is perfectly normal. And you don't have the kind of mental capacity at that age to see the big picture. But I expect his dumb ass at his advanced age to have seen the big picture and let the stuff with Stefano go. But because he didn't be angry. Stefano was able to use that as his Achilles heels, and you sat with Rock and saw her to your saw her sit to your face and say, "No, even I would rather die than to give you my panty drawers." So what in the world made your your your dumb butt think she was going to show up to your room with you in a robe looking like Harvey Weinstein that lost 50 lb thinking you was going to get something from Rock. Bro, that was stupid. You know she was a killer. He got what he deserved. Um I kind of wish something else would have happened to Stefano a little more, but Peno got what he deserved. >> We're going to talk about Stefano next here in just a second. Um yeah, man. And with his character, I was indifferent. I didn't like him or I didn't hate him, either. You know, he was entertaining. I will say that. But all this work that you've done all these years, all these decades, all this building, and you're at the top, and you get taken out like this from somebody that you booted a few days ago? Excuse me, over some ass, man, that you didn't even get to begin with. I mean, if that's not the downfall to some empires, um goodness gracious, I don't know what is. That's just a shame. That that that really is, man. That was his kryptonite. And he's going bye-bye. You know, and smart on Stefano for, you know, seeing that window of opportunity and taking advantage of it. And I was really frustrated with Pino initially uh in this episode in particular because once um you know, at the very beginning, you know, he was trying to extend his condolences to Rock, you know, because she found out that Marvin is dead. And of course and you know, we're going to talk about that, of course, in the second. Um Rock was just like, you know, uh hey, I'm not out of business. Um I've been here before. I've been in the worst situations and I made it out of this. And he was like, you've been in the worst situations than having your son kill your brother? Damn. I don't want to don't want to go to y'all house on Thanksgiving. I was I was laughing at that right there. And you you can unmute your mic, man. I ain't tripping on that. Um I'm in the mood. Um but he was trying to extend his uh his condolences and you know, I'm sorry, you know, but he didn't want to have nothing to do with her. And then, you know, it it extended that um invitation. And um damn, Lamarr, I forgot what point I was trying to make. My fault. Uh >> You You wasn't feeling Pino and you enjoyed the way Stefano took advantage of Pino's weakness for the pain and drugs. >> So, when they met later on and he was like, hey, man, um I you have my permission, you can kill her, you can take her out. Um he at first was lying on his dick, lying on his penis. And I cannot stand a man that does that. That is just like top three of the most lamest things that you can do. You know, it's like, "Hey, you know, um she just couldn't resist." And it's a shame that that that um nice p u s s y is going to be gone. And he's like, "What? You know, she wouldn't give you the time of day." I was really ticked off at that um and wanted him to die. But, he cleared it up. He's like, "Okay, yeah, you got me. I was lying. I wasn't able to get her, you know, yada yada. You have my permission to take her out of our misery." But, uh I just said all that to say that uh he won't be missed at all even if they had three more seasons because, you know, he was just a snake uh that ended up at the top, you know. And I I didn't like him. So, so good riddance. Good riddance. Good riddance. You guys let us know what y'all think um in in the comments of Mr. Pino uh Bernardy. Um but, going over to uh Stefano, uh I want to ask you about the funeral for Snaps and Pops. You know, he was there as well showing his face. And um Lump had some heated words for him towards the end. Like, "Hey, I know you're you're I know you're a snake. I know you're a cobra. I know you're a devil. You're a demon. You know, why you want to kill everybody?" Or something like that. Or you know, or why why you want to live forever? He's like, "I don't want to live forever. I just want to die last. Take it easy, Pops." And bounced on him. Man, what what do you what are your thoughts there in that exchange they had? >> First of all, let me shout out the actor playing Lump. I love that guy, man. He He's a fantastic actor. He was in Cocaine Cocaine Bear. If y'all haven't seen that movie, it is a very comical movie. He was in it. He does a great job. I mean, he just called out um Stefano for what it is. Cuz, you know, he had conversations with Snaps and Pops. And they all know that, you know, there's no honor among thieves. There no snake not bit in a bag of snakes. And Stefano is emerging as the biggest snake of them all. And he just called him out for it and I loved every minute of it. And I just kind of feel like he really was spot on with what Stefano was trying to do. I felt like the writing was fantastic in relaying really and truly having another character call Stefano out to his face. And Stefano just basically said, "Yeah, that's me. That's what I'm trying to do." >> Yeah. Yeah, you're right. It was It was a nice funeral, too. You know, they had all the pictures up and you know, a nice um you know, showing. I I can't think what I'm show I want to say showing up of people. I can't put my words together. I apologize, guys. But uh yeah, man, they're they're they're not here anymore. Thanks to Juke. Thanks to Juke. And um Let me ask you this. Do you think that Kanan would have went through with killing Marvin last episode if he knew that um Juke killed Snaps and Pops? >> Yeah. >> You do? >> He would have done it. Yeah, he would have done it. His pride was hurting him. There was no way he was not going to let that pride not go. I still think that even though he still had to contend with his brother, which we didn't get no resolution on the brother story. So, one way or the other one, you saw the conversation they had with the brother said, "I still have to get unfinished business done whether Snaps and Pops not around." So, it was either going to be he had to take out Marvin or he was going to have to take out his brother Big Breezy. >> Yeah. What Why Why did Flossy diss Rock like that, man? I mean, she said, "Get out of my face. Get out of my face. My Why Why she do it like that? >> I must admit I love the way they had Rock squirming this whole episode because she she earned this [ __ ] ladies and gentlemen. Rock earned this because of her dastardly deeds throughout the entire season, all the things she put in place to hurt her family and try to make it seem like it was in the name of love and it wasn't. I love seeing her squirm from the deal she was about to take, didn't take, to Flossy. And I really like the Flossy character. And a shout out to that actress. She is fantastic. She's in American Horror Story and a whole lot of other great shows and she nails it everywhere she goes. I love seeing her stand up to Rock. Um so I would have loved for some more seasons to keep going so we could have got more of Flossy, but I would have wanted Marvin to stay alive to see what would have happened if them two formed some kind of a union without Rock. >> Mhm. Mhm. Ah, okay. Yeah, um I did like her character. Um she was entertaining. She was standing on business. Um I liked the conversation that she had with Juke at the beginning of the episode. Um and I was kind of surprised that the letter that um Marvin left Juke stated that hey, Flossy is one of the only few people that you can trust. You know, and so that was definitely not on my bingo card for them to have a meeting. Um and for her to just, you know, say some kind words um to Juke uh on behalf of uh of Marvin. So uh That That That That was nice right there. Um I don't know. Maybe we will see more Flossy. We know we have the um the new Power Origins. And to bring that up even more Lamar, nice little segue is we also got the true origin of of Jamie and Tommy in this episode, too. So, um throwing a lot at you. What are your thoughts on seeing baby Jamie and Tommy when they met with Kanan? But also, your thoughts on Rock not Rock, but a Juke talking to Flossy at the beginning. And us possibly seeing Flossy, you know, again crossing over with maybe the Power Origins show since we did see um Jamie and Tommy. >> I hope we get more Flossy. We definitely know we're going to see more Breeze and Kanan. And we obviously going to see more Juke. Because right now, you know, even though we saw the way it ended with Juke and Kanan, Kanan is not happy about what the way it went down, but at the same time Juke checked him and let him know, "You took my daddy, I took your mama." But I'm sure that relationship somehow, some way is going to rebuild. And for all we know, it could have something to do with Flossy because we know Juke um she likes the white apple pie, meaning she likes white women. And maybe her and Flossy could build a relationship or she'll get to the point where there's something she can't get out of and she will need Flossy. So, I'm really happy that her daddy felt that indebted to Flossy and the relationship that they had, the short relationship of trust, that he could send Juke to her because there was nobody else to send. He couldn't send her to Rock. There's no Lou Lou. He definitely ain't sending her to Kanan. All he had was Flossy. Which is also sad on his behalf that his friend circle, his community was narrowed down to a pastor and Flossy. >> Yeah. Uh well said. And the more I think about it, I'm very confident we're going to see more of Flossy because the end the meeting when Kanan showed up with the gun when he was Okay, when Flossy was talking to Juke and uh Juke was able to put the piece the pieces of the puzzle together um that Kanan was the one that put her down. Um she was like, "I've never had a constructive conversation with somebody when it started with them pointing a gun at me." Cuz we didn't see what happened. It just cut It just cut away. So, Kanan So, that meeting left on a positive note between Kanan and Flossy. And now we have a positive constructive relationship between Juke and Flossy. Flossy didn't like Rock no way and now that she she's learned that she's dead, so they may all three work together up to some point. So, actually you know, I think there's a strong chance that we may see Flossy um in the Power Origin show. And that would be a good thing. That would That That would be a um really really good thing. Um >> What about What about Kanan's new chocolate baby mama? Shawn's baby mama. >> Yes, Jerida. Jerida. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. Um I'm I'm assuming this is Yeah, Shawn's mom. And um that's interesting. You know, I'm confident that it is the mother. I don't think that she gets rid of the baby and he gets somebody else pregnant. Um that you know, really wouldn't add up when you have a story right here that makes sense. But yeah. Do um Does she die like in the earlier series of Power? I don't remember or she just somebody that was just, you know, not cast in the original show and was just off screen the whole time? >> No, she stuck around. She's And And the mama was played by one of those I want to say one of the Smith twins. The lady The Smith twins. >> Okay. I think that was his mom if I'm not mistaken. >> Okay. Okay. Yeah, we got uh Shawn's mom here. Now, um one thing that we was concerned about, man, is since Kanan took out Marvin, we was thinking that Juke was not going to find out. Actually, before I actually before we go there, let me ask you this. Is there anything that you did not like about the episode? >> No, I liked everything. The only thing I did not like was I would have liked to see unique in some capacity. >> Okay. You didn't like that scene. >> flawless victory for me. >> Um I did not like the very, very, very, very, very beginning. I didn't like the way the episode started. It bothered me. Um I thought if you if you had to guess how much time passed between um uh Kanan killing Marvin and Rock finding out when we saw her at the beginning of the episode soaking on the couch and Juke reading the letter. How much time do you think passed between those two those those points if you had to give a good guess? >> I I would say maybe a week. >> Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. That's um I don't even know if I was going to say that long. I don't know if I was going to say uh some days, but a week we can we can rock with that. That's disappointing to me. I wanted to see the initial reaction to everybody finding out that Marvin was dead like minutes or hours later. And so, when this started off, I'm like, "What the hell? What are y'all doing?" Like, I want to I want I wanted to see that. That was important. I I feel I I felt cheated. I you know, I'm like, "Wait, this is this is the finale of the entire show. I want to see all the emotions, all the crash outs, all the album This [ __ ] I I'm I'm not trying to be funny. I'm I'm being serious. And so, I was um I I was annoyed. I was annoyed. Now, we're going to talk about how it ended, but I was annoyed. You, you said that that did I mean am I tripping or do you kind of understand where I'm coming from? >> Um that particular um part that you don't like is so subjective to the individual um that there's no such thing as a nitpick with that there's no such thing as that. Um for me, I was fine with where they picked up on the story. I was fine, but I do understand what you mean. You want to see how these people is acting on these streets that one of the heavy hitters is gone. You know, you want more coverage of what went on. >> Yeah. >> Um especially Juke. You really want to see how Juke was feeling when the And how would the news get to them anyway? I think if you would like to see how they say how did they find out? Who did they find out from? The news TV show itself? Did somebody on the street tell them? I would want to know how they found out the news. Get a quick reaction, then you can fast forward a week. But like I said, I think that was subjective. >> Yeah, um I I agree, man. Big time 100% like everybody knew. How did P know? No. And how did P know? >> Breeze know? >> Yeah, how did P know know that it was uh that it was Cane in the first place? This wasn't outside. This was inside of a church. Cane didn't go out there and be like, "Hey everybody, it was me. I did it." Uh P know knew, uh Flossy knew. How do I How do How do I like you said, Breeze know? How do all these people know? Can we Can Can we see the pastor come back like, "All right, Marvin. I put the briefcase up or I took it off across the Oh my god, he's dead. Damn. 911." And then you got the you know, what if they should have had a scene with Garcia there investigating the murder like, "Hmm, we're going to I'm going to find out who who did this, Juke, so since he trying to turn over a new leaf." And plus they had a conversation at the in the middle of the episode anyway because she was he was like, "Hey, I told you I was going to leave you alone, but I know you know who killed your daddy. And do you know who killed Snaps and Pops, Ishmael?" You know what I'm saying? They They should have had the the the the ambulance, the paramedics, the police at the church. And and Jukebox everybody else finding out that way, but you know, now they got um 5G internet and everybody found out like this. Yeah. That That That bothered me. That bothered me. Y'all let me know if that bothered you or not. If I'm tripping or you know, if it's just a subjective thing, you know, from person to person. Um yeah. Uh got another question. >> us to to assume that be able like I think this was one of the areas where the writers didn't want to spoon-feed us. I think they wanted us to assume that the streets would talk like that because Breeze pretty much knew Cane and had to do it because of the order of Snaps and Pops. So, you know, it wasn't hard for Breeze to know. But we would like to know what is damn is is Flossy and a private investigator? She connecting dots la la la left and right, you know? Um P No, uh Stefano, they connecting dots left and right. And I guess Stefano would know too based on the orders of Snaps and Pops. Insider baseball, but the reaction is something I think we you know, some of that we should have seen. At least the very minute [clears throat] after Marvin died. Right. Y'all let us know let us know let us know. Why is Breeze killing white boys though in they in they front yard, man? Were they telling the truth like, "We weren't talking to the cops." They got shot. You know, or were they really were snitches and Breeze was justified in executing them? >> Uh you just can't take a risk. >> Oh, damn. That's >> Just can't take a risk. >> That's That's cold-blooded, man. Like I don't know, but I want to make sure bam bam bam. Damn it. Okay. Okay. Okay. Well, my I I guess >> You can't trust him, bro. You can't you can't and racial tension back in them days was even worse. Who they going to be loyal to? The black drug dealer or the white cop telling them we going to let y'all get away and move to Kansas and stay somewhere. You can't take the risk. >> What are your feelings about Rock and her attorney with Agent Tanner and his partner? And it's like she and at first she was going to spill all the tea. I got all the information on stuff. Milano, Pino Bernardi. Get me out of this. I want immunity for me, Kanan, three large pizzas, pepperoni. Like Did you think she was going to snitch? Or or um you know, you you knew that she was going to uh keep her mouth shut. How did you feel about all that? >> I absolutely thought she was going to snitch because I didn't think she was going to die. For some reason I thought [clears throat] that Kanan went to visit her in the uh OG Power show. Now, they didn't show it. They didn't you know, they didn't say where he went. So, maybe he went to visit her grave. And maybe I just wrongfully assumed he went to visit her like some kind of retirement community or something like that. So, I 100% thought she was going to survive, go to witness protection. Kanan was going to know where she's at. But at the end of the day they wrote the story in the way to play her the way she is. She's not a snitch. She was she was a beast in the game as a woman. So, it went the right way. >> Yeah, man. I would have been uh pretty disappointed if she would have turned into a snitch like that. Um that's I I just wouldn't have liked that. So, I kind of liked that they kept their character intact. And uh Kanan did the right thing, too, man. He didn't say nothing like, "Hey, I don't know what my mama talking about." You know, uh I thought that Tanner had him slipped up, too, like, "Hey, how did you I didn't say that they were white." You know, uh "Where'd you get that from?" And he was like, I don't know any [ __ ] named Balardi. You know, Tana got upset right there. Like, oh [ __ ] he got me. I thought I caught him in the mouse trap with a banana in the tailpipe. He's always squirming away. I'm going to get you. You know, uh >> [laughter] >> That that that that that was a that was that was funny to me though. Um, that was funny to me. Um, I think I already know the answer to this. Do you know do you trust Breeze? >> No. >> Okay. >> No. >> Okay. Okay. I mean, we we we know what ends up happening to him anyway. Um, but yeah. Yeah. So, one of the best scenes of uh television >> Mhm. >> uh was in this episode of Lamar. I wasn't expecting expecting it. I got emotional. I I shed a thug tear. When Kanan uh went and talked to Stefano was like, look, I don't think I can kill my mama. And I and he know I was talking to Breeze and how about we just let her go? So, he ended up meeting with um Rock. And the heart-to-heart conversation that they had, the way that their relationship flourished in this one moment, um I thought hell would have froze over before this happened. Um, this was sad, man. And this was some damn good acting. And I am so happy that Rock finally took some accountability, responsibility, apologized for her eff-ups and being one of the worst moms on the planet. When Kanan said, you never want you never stop one of your mom to care about you, you know, I I've been waiting to for you to turn into the person that I need instead of the person that I want. Uh, what else did he say? Like, you know, all we can't fix this [ __ ] all wrong [ __ ] I've done, you've done, we've done. I was like, "Woo!" And then Rock, Patina Miller started crying, bro. You know, now now Juke over there, mind you, peeping game, but man, this was a good ass scene, bro. This this is what made me like really like, "Okay, this they're doing a great job. Well, we going to get there." But, the scene was fire. Your thoughts? >> 100% agree, man. I mean I mean, for these two characters to be as desperately as they are, drug dealers, the writers found a way to still show that even with all that hard exterior, the hard life, that everybody, every human is still capable of love, even these two. And the acting from these two, I was just when that when the scene happened, man, I was saying to myself, 50 did a great job finding this young man that's going to carry this season and the next season. Over. You done a This young man and I don't know why I like to say the MCU is like the pinnacle for people to go and perform as um movie stars, but he has a career in the MCU if he wants to do it. This young man can act. And Patina Miller, we already know she's world-class. She's Oprah. She She sings. She dances. She does it all. She killed it in that scene, and the two did make some of the most compelling, best TV of the year. Emmy Award-winning tight TV. >> Yeah. 1 100%, man. What What you said, Tom? >> Three. Um do you have any comments on Juke peeping game to the side? You know, she was coming around the corner for something, but she saw this whole conversation. You know, what what was your thoughts there? When you saw that? >> knew what I already knew what she was going to do. Like, by that point in time, it was 100% sure what she was going to do. It was just a matter of was she going to be able to do it and how she would do it. >> Yeah. Yeah. Do you like the plan that Stefano came up with? Just like, you know, "Hey, I need you to do something for me. You got 24 hours. If you don't do it, you're not making it to your car." I was like, "Damn, he got this sold up." He had Yeah, yeah. I I How you feeling about that? >> Loved it. Like, I mean, literally, she said it herself, "What choice do I have?" You don't have a choice. >> You don't >> Cuz if you don't take the deal, you're not walking out this door. >> Right. Right, right. >> now, I The only thing she could have had done be able to like took said she was going to do it and then get the hell out of dodge as soon as she got out of there. That's what she should have done. >> Yeah, yeah, man. Um and she tried to go by the grave I I I kind of felt sorry for her just a little bit, man. When she went to the cemetery and she saw um her mother's her mother's grave, her her brother's grave, and then saw the new grave for um uh Marvin. And I'm like, "Damn, she not even going to be able to come back and show her respect to her family." You know, you did this yourself. I I did feel a little sorry for her. Did Did you or no? >> No. Not Not one bit. You're going You're going to pay your respects in heaven or hell or wherever y'all meet up at. That's where you get to pay your respects. No, I didn't feel not one bit sorry. The only sorry for Rock I felt was that touching moment between her and Kanan speaking on the street where Jukebox was looking like the black dude in the meme looking around the corner and [ __ ] >> Bro, and when she left the cemetery, she went over Juke's house and knocked on the door. And Juke was Juke was playing I don't know where Juke was. She wasn't there. I'm just thinking, man, what if they could have had a conversation at that point in time, you know what I'm saying? Would it have changed the outcome of the episode? Uh but we just don't know. Now, what she should have done was um Rock should have had her bags already packed in the car. And all of us stuff ready to go. Like you said, as soon as she even even if she either like you said, said that she was going to do it and and you know, exit stage left, get out of dodge, or actually do it. And as soon as you leave that hotel, you going to the airport, you taking a taxi out of there, you driving out of there that same night. You know, she going to go home and and have one more s'more at home and try to pack in the morning. And Juke comes through with the gun. And I was like, "Whoa! I didn't see this coming." When I saw Juke seeing Kanan and Raq talk to the side, I didn't put it together. I I didn't like, "Oh, okay, she's going to She was coming to kill Kanan, but since she's she's this is a Kodak moment, she going to take Raq out." But as soon as Juke walked into this bedroom, man, I I was like, "Oh, it makes sense now." You know, I kind of see, you know, her true origin story of how I I I don't know I don't got no words like exactly right now. And so, um yeah, man, Raq tried to go for the gun. She shot her. She's dying. And gave two more to her. And I was like, "Whoa! This is um This is This is insane." And then the conversation that they had after this at the diner. I I said, "This all makes sense." You know, even though this is possibly one of the most toxic families I've seen on television in television history, at least it makes sense. At least I'm surprised. At least I did not see this coming. Um because I I'm I I'll stop. How How did you feel about all that, man? Um Juke killing Raq and then the conversation between Kanan and and Drew get the end. >> I'm laughing at you saying this is one of the most toxic we've ever seen on TV. I'm thinking to myself, this was more toxic than the Muppet Babies and that one-sided relationship Miss Piggy had with Kermit, always trying to essay him. That was some That was some toxic relationship, family >> Yes. >> But I'm with you on what you're saying, man, and Raq could have alleviated all this behavior if she would have took her ego out of it. Because let me tell you like this, her ego is what really got her killed in the very end because it was her ego that took her took her to kill Peno. Because she did not like that Peno stepped to her and basically said, "The only use I got for you as a woman is your panty drawers. >> Yes. >> to me. Only thing you got left that I want from you is your drawers." She was completely disrespected by that because she's thinking to herself, "You little ugly ass white dude, I don't care how much money you got. You can't You can't have this, okay? This is dark queen goddessness. You can't have this." And I think that her ego was hurt. Had she skipped killing him, skipped town, she'd be still living right now. But in terms of the way Drew did it, it made perfect sense and I really enjoy how she just It To me, it seems like Kanan is afraid of her. Because he said, "I can kill you." And she basically got in his face and told him right back what she could do. >> Yeah. >> I'm Like she ain't she ain't running. She ain't scared. >> Right. >> And so even in the OG Power, you could see that Kanan had a healthy either respect or level of fear toward Drew, and I think this is this is the the um the culmination of it right here is how it started. So, I enjoyed the way they wrote this. They did a good job. This was some of the best Power writing in all the shows, if you want my opinion. >> Yeah. Man, she said, "I want you to be alone, man. You going to be by yourself. Everybody that cares about you is gone." And even though this I can't get mad at Jukebox that, man. You killed my uncle and my daddy? Jukebox is the victim here, man, in in this whole Power story. And then the actual conclusion of the episode of mine when Kanan goes back and he's sitting over the dead body of his mama. And just think about this chain of events right here. Rock killed his daddy in front of him. And then he killed both of his uncles. And then his cousin killed his mama. >> Yeah. >> That's that's that that's insane. Um and the monologue >> Not to mention Not to mention the mama killed his first best friend, D-Wiz. >> Yeah. Yeah. Is Is this is crazy. And he he he's all alone. I I remember when in season 1, Kanan wanted to be a big boy and do this and do that and bite off more than he can chew and look where you at, Kanan. You by yourself. And we know what ends up happening to you, too. Oh my goodness gracious. Um This This was a good conclusion. It It was. Even though I I I I don't like it, but I love it, you know? Um for the the sequence of events and how it all played out, but the same time it was still good writing, you know? Um And so, that's just Yeah, unconditional love. That's That's the greatest uh title you can give the show. Um You have any final thoughts, sir? >> I'm actually intrigued by the new origin story that's coming. I like the way they introduced Tommy and Ghost and Kanan turning him down and the dynamics we've already got set in place with Breeze, Flossy, and Juke. I'm pretty excited for that show, man. So, if they can keep the writing the way this was, I think we're in for a treat. >> Yeah, man. We're just going to have to see. I I know I said I was done, but, you know, I'm the way they concluded this show, they may have me back. So, you know, it just depends on how these videos perform as well.
