you assess the game?
>> Thought we started really well going
going a goal up and uh
I think
sorry killed us a wee bit because we
tend to sit back for 5-10 minutes when
when you go up early but but I thought
we we hung in there well to see out the
first half and then second half we were
a little bit more like ourselves and we
sort of created some chances and and we
dug deep as we do as a team and and we
had a hard time to break down so when we
go a goal up you're sort of confident
that you can you can see the game out.
>> Another clean sheet as well for
yourself. How proud are you of that
seventh one already here at Bradford
City?
>> I know obviously very proud to take the
credit for it but it's not just me that
should get it. It's the whole team cuz I
mean you see how much bees blocks up
top, how much the defenders are blocking
things. It's
I don't know what the stats will be from
the game but I I never really made too
many saves in the game. That's purely
down to my team being in the right
position and blocking things and and
then I so that's that's a really a good
feeling to play behind them.
>> How special is that relationship with
not only the safe hands but like I say
with Jacob, talk with the midfield as
well.
>> Really important I think. You can see
the scale in this within the team even
when you go to order and you make 10 10
changes sorry.
You can just see that everyone's sort of
playing the same way. We've got the same
same um
same identity no matter who comes in the
team and when the subs come on they know
their job. It's it's really easy for
them to come into the game cuz they know
exactly what was expected of them.
>> How big is that togetherness like I say
as a goalkeeper when it might change in
front of you to sort of have that same
relationship?
>> I know it's obviously it's tough like
when you're when you're changing things
and but but in my opinion it just feels
a bit different you know what I mean
boys are coming on and and they know you
know what's expected of them you know
like for like there's not there's not a
drop off in quality for boys that start
to boys that are coming on and it's and
there's lads out the team that are that
are really hard done by cuz they're got
every right to be in the team starting
just because of how how much depth we've
got so it's a really good place for us
just now.
>> Feel like every corner and set piece
that came to the box in the six-yard box
there about 10-15 players in there. You
still always get your fist on it. How
pleased are you with your performance in
that sense this as well?
>> I'm not really pleased cuz that's say
that's probably something that I've not
did it too much since I come at the club
just because of how good we've been from
set piece. Um
So, now that's that's it's part of the
game being a goalkeeper. Sometimes
you'll have any crosses to come for,
sometimes you'll have 10 in one half.
That's just That's just part of it, but
it's it's having the confidence that you
can come for it because of the boys are
doing their job in there when you shout
they're blocking people. So, it's um
that's good.
>> That's it. Just how big is everything
that we do with this football club,
whether it's attack, defense,
goalkeeping. How much do you amount to
one big team?
>> Uh it's definitely It's just That's just
as as a team, you know? That's That's
Bradford. That's what the manager has
installed here. You can see it. You You
sense it as soon as you came in. That's
That's the identity of the club. They're
They're a really hard team to break down
and might not be scoring as many goals
as we want, but we don't need to because
we're we're so solid.
>> Over 1,300 supporters here today as
well. How special were they?
>> Oh, incredible. Like you
They took me by surprise cuz the club is
is well followed. It's a well-backed
club, but to come down to Luton and and
have that support, they were
I mean, really really noisy compared to
the the home team. So, it's a That's
That's just That's what gets us over the
line and that's massive for us.
>> On a personal note, you've been called
up for Scotland. How does that feel?
>> Oh, it's unbelievable. I don't know what
to say. Uh it's It's surreal to get that
opportunity again. Um new manager, he's
he's called up a lot of the new boys,
un-capped players. So, there'll be a a
freshness to it and then hopefully I can
I can impress them and like that's
That's every every kid's dream is to
represent their country. So, to have
that opportunity to potentially do that
is is amazing.
>> How nice is it to get the recognition
for your work not only here, but also
your national team?
>> I know it's it's It's really good. Like
it's
Guys don't mind it cuz it's such a good
honor to get recognition from your
national team, but that only comes from
doing the basics at your club and and
playing well. And I'm grateful for the
the club, the manager, the the players
cuz they've gave me that platform to to
sort of show what you can do and and
then now like I say, just really
grateful everyone here cuz it's a It's
You don't You don't get called up sorry
if you're not not performing at club
level and they I was just playing in a
really good spot just now. So, that's
helped.
>> Got one more game to get through before
then, but how are you much are you
excited for that opportunity to go to
Scotland?
>> Yeah, I still really looking forward to
it. So, it's
it's just be good to be amongst the boys
again and and like you say there's a
freshness to the squad. So, it'll be
good to to meet up with everyone and and
see what the new manager's ideas are
like and it's a long camp. So, it'll be
it'll be interesting.
