Consequently, Yelton was sentenced to exactly twenty years in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender for life.

sentencing.
He was charged with 12 counts of rape
and sexual abuse of three minors in
April of 2025.
He pled guilty to the counts of rape and
sex abuse in June of this year and was
recommended a 20-year sentence. Today in
court, one of the minors had her
testimony read.
>> They are all in lock loan therapy and
medication for trauma that ball day sick
girl. Um one of them is at a facility
near to her.
Mental issues and concerns that have
resulted um
from this case. They've been moved
around.
Well,
in later the tears been in three
different places since her removal and
the others have also been moved around
quite a bit as well and they don't
get to communicate or proceed on a daily
basis like they had
previously.
Also, uh so she's isolated from
community at this point. She would have
several hours away from here now. She's
in a new school.
Well, she was in a match change for this
year. Anyway, okay, so it was
because of a change in place
she's been prevented from participating
in community events and extracurricular
activities. She's also struggled
academically and has poor grades. It is
her um
recommendation that Mr. Yelton receive
25 to 30 years in prison intent.
She asked for permanent loss of parental
rights. Although it is by sticker and we
have already contact with her, but not
with joining in her recommendation is a
long bill of sentence.
