Video summary
The video explores a growing sense of desperation among people, characterized by feelings of hopelessness and a belief that their situations are irredeemable. This mindset drives individuals to act recklessly, disregarding safety or the welfare of others in frantic attempts to escape their perceived hopeless circumstances. The speaker observes this behavior manifesting as chaotic actions fueled by sudden bursts of intense emotions like panic, rage, or overwhelming joy. In public spaces such as gyms and stores, people often display undignified, foolish, or awkward behaviors driven by a need for validation, frequently focusing on two primary areas: financial gain and sexual attention. The speaker recounts specific incidents where individuals attempted to steal money or possessions, stalked them, or engaged in inappropriate behavior, illustrating how this desperation can lead to dangerous and unpredictable interactions.
The underlying cause of this behavior is identified as unmet emotional needs stemming from childhood trauma, where individuals were not loved, nurtured, or cared for properly. Consequently, these adults constantly scan their environment for "emotional caregivers" who can fill the void left by absent parents, often latching onto those who appear calm and unbothered. The speaker notes that when they initially mirrored the energy of these distressed individuals to provide comfort, it inadvertently fed their addiction to external validation, causing them to become more demanding and viewing the speaker as a permanent supply source. This dynamic creates a toxic cycle where the desperate person seeks unconditional love through manipulation, while the caregiver risks becoming an emotional puppet, reinforcing the taker's inability to manage their own emotions and needs.
To break this destructive cycle, the video advocates for disengagement and establishing firm boundaries rather than trying to save or fix these individuals. The speaker argues that intervening only reinforces the desperate person's dependency and causes the helper to abandon their own well-being, leading to a state of exhaustion where one is drained like a low-battery device that is never fully recharged. It is emphasized that people cannot be responsible for fixing the childhood wounds of others, as doing so prevents both parties from healing; instead, charity must begin with oneself by prioritizing personal rest, mental health, and family needs. By creating distance and refusing to dance to the beat of others' emotional drums, individuals can protect themselves from being manipulated and avoid becoming resentful or burnt out by those who lack empathy.
Ultimately, the message encourages viewers to ascend above this desperation by recognizing that they are not obligated to play the role of a parent or savior for strangers. The speaker suggests that true elevation requires separation, as staying involved with such toxic dynamics only pulls one down to their level. While it may seem cruel to walk away, maintaining distance is essential for self-preservation and allows others to find their own path or face the consequences of their actions. The video concludes by urging people to stop blindly trusting those who test their limits and to remember that while they may possess a special aura or energy, they do not owe it to anyone. By focusing on building a supportive network and prioritizing one's own stability, individuals can reclaim their autonomy and ensure they are able to show up better for themselves and their loved ones without being consumed by the chaos of others' desperate lives.

I have been noticing that people have
been getting really desperate recently
and this is something that appears to
have escalated over the past few years.
It's something I noticed during co which
was understandable because it was a
global pandemic
but then it never seemed to go away.
Now what do I mean when I say that
people are getting desperate?
From what I'm seeing, it looks like
people feel like their situation is
hopeless. As though this is as good as
it gets. It's never going to get any
better. And even the way it is now is
just unbearable for them. It's not good
enough. So, this causes them to act
recklessly. It causes them to act in a
dangerous manner without considering or
caring about the potential risks or
consequences of their actions.
It causes them to show a heedless
disregard for safety or the welfare of
others because they are in a frenzy.
They are wild, excited, agitated.
They are behaving chaotically or
frantically
because they're driven by sudden bursts
of emotion like panic, rage, or
overwhelming joy. And there is a sense
of extreme urgency
because they have an overwhelming need
or craving for something.
And yet at the same time, they feel like
their situation is hopeless.
So they're making a desperate attempt to
escape.
They're willing to take extreme or
dangerous risks
because their situation feels hopeless.
And that is what we appear to be seeing
in the world today.
People who have lost all faith in
themselves or other people, but then
they see a glimmer of hope, a subtle
sign or a faint trace of light, an
external cue that it signals safety to
their nervous system. It brings them
back to a sense of joy.
And I've noticed this in people whenever
I go out to the gym or a store.
People make eye contact with me. They
notice that I'm calm and unbothered.
They see that I'm not worried about
anything. They sense my aura.
And sometimes people do begin to feel
more relaxed around me. They may become
less tense. They may try to make
conversation with me.
So, if they're with their partner or
their children, they will suddenly
become more affectionate
because they feel like it's safe now
that I'm there. And I don't mind when
this happens.
I'm glad that I'm able to bring this
warm, affectionate atmosphere to people
to where they are able to let their
guard down and forget about their
troubles for a moment.
But sometimes people do get really
desperate.
because they know that my presence is
temporary. They know that at some point
I'm going to leave the store or the gym
and then they're going to feel empty.
So, they cling on to me. They try to
impact me in some sort of way or they
try to take something from me. Have you
experienced similar things? Let me know
in the comments below. I'd love to hear
from you. And I'm sure you're not alone.
I'm sure many other people are
experiencing the same thing because on
many occasions
I have seen people behave in such
undignified ways in ways that are
foolish, awkward, to the point where
it's just impossible to take them
seriously because they look so
ridiculous.
I've had people stalk me around town
just to then steal large amounts of cash
from me. a total of £7,000.
I went to go for a walk in a park and I
put my backpack on the bench just for a
minute while I took a selfie and when I
looked up it was suddenly gone.
I had people creep up behind me late at
night, slipped their hands into my
pockets to steal my iPhone.
I then bought a new iPhone and two men
on a motorbike snatched it out of my
hands as they flew past me.
When I go to the gym or the store, I
often see men sitting in their cars
staring at me like they just saw a
ghost.
I often have women waiting for me to
walk past just so they can bend over in
front of me in shorts or tight tight
yoga pants.
Just yesterday, I went to pick up some
stuff to wash my car. In one of the
aisles, I looked behind me and saw a man
and a woman who appeared bewildered,
dazed and confused
in a trance like they were under some
sort of spell.
I then paid for my goods and as I was
walking out of the entrance,
a girl walked out in front of me with
shorts right up her rear.
She then got into a car with AZ on the
number plate.
So with all of these things that I have
been experiencing,
I think people have become really weird
and desperate.
And most of these situations appear to
revolve around two things, money and
sex. People seem to be struggling
financially
to the point where they have taken a lot
of my possessions including my money.
And yet people are also heavily
dependent on my validation.
It's like they need me to be attracted
to them sexually.
Now when people would do these things, I
used to respond
and I would respond like any normal
human.
How would a normal human respond?
We would mirror what we're seeing. We
would match their energy. It's just a
typical natural response.
You see someone in distress.
You see someone acting desperate
and you mirror back their emotions
so that they don't have to feel so
alone.
But I noticed that by doing this,
it fed them and it made them grow larger
to where they became overpowering and
more demanding of me. They began to feel
like they owned me, like I belong to
them now.
So I started to realize that this isn't
the right way to respond to these people
because then they will get addicted to
me and [clears throat] they will always
want more.
The truth is that something happened to
these people. Something happened to them
in their childhood. Their emotional
needs weren't met as a child. They
weren't loved as a child should be
loved. They weren't cared for or
nurtured.
So now they're constantly scanning their
environment for people. People who may
have parented their own parents when
they were children, people who are
emotional caregivers.
and they latch on to those people.
This is just how the dynamic works.
A taker needs a giver and a giver needs
a taker. We are the givers and they are
the takers.
But most people wouldn't even be aware
of them. We are aware of them because
it's familiar to us. We recognize this
dynamic from our childhoods,
from the emotional incest
we experienced as children when we were
forced to take on our parents' emotional
problems.
So now we see it everywhere. We feel the
desperation,
whether it's financial desperation or
something sexual,
and we may feel the need to intervene
and save this person. But when you do
that, you become their caretaker. You
become their supply. And it's not
helping anyone.
You're just reinforcing their inability
to manage their own needs and emotions.
And they are reinforcing your ability to
abandon yourself and overextend yourself
to others. So nobody wins by playing
this game. It destroys everyone.
The best thing you can do for yourself
and other people is to disengage.
When you see people getting needy,
desperate, or nasty, acting bothered,
don't let it shift your focus or
attention. Acknowledge their presence.
Don't resist it, but don't fight it.
Because by fighting it, you're feeding
into it. So instead, just let it be
there as though it is even affecting
you. and soon enough it will go away.
They will go and find someone else,
someone who will see it as their duty to
fix or help them because that's not your
job anymore.
You may have been forced into this role
as a child because you were small and
you couldn't survive on your own. But
now you get to decide the role that you
want to play and you're allowed to say
no. You're allowed to walk away. You
don't have to dance to the beat of their
drum. You don't have to become someone
else's puppet. Because you are not
responsible for what happened to them in
their childhood. You are no more
obligated than anyone else.
You may be specially gifted in your aura
or your energy, but that doesn't mean
you owe them anything.
They may feel like they know you, like
you're the parent they never had or the
parent they once had control over and
manipulated in order to get their needs
met. But that's their story. It doesn't
have to become yours.
Don't let people project these
identities onto you. You get to define
who you are.
It's sad that people have become this
way, but remember, you're just one
person. You can't save everyone.
and charity begins at home.
You should prioritize the needs of your
own family, friends, or local community
before you extend help or financial
support to strangers or people further
away. And even before your friends or
relatives, charity begins with yourself.
You must always fill up your own cup
first. You must prioritize your own
well-being, rest, and mental health.
because you cannot give to others from
an empty vessel. So take care of
yourself first
and then you can build the energy and
endurance
to show up better for the people in your
life.
And don't wait for other people to
understand this mindset. Just let it be
enough that you understand it because
many people out there will run you down
to the point where you're barely able to
survive.
They will have you running on empty
where you have just enough to get by
and they're barely getting anything out
of it themselves.
But they can't wait and they don't have
anything to give.
So you become like a hair trimmer or an
electric toothbrush
that's running on a low battery. And
each time they drain you out, they're
letting you charge back up again for a
few minutes
instead of giving you the full hour or
two hours to recharge
and it's barely doing anything for them.
So they get frustrated. They become
resentful, dissatisfied,
and now they're holding a grudge against
you because they lack empathy. They're
unable to share your experience, to
understand this concept. It's like
dealing with a child.
They're going to cry. They're going to
throw tantrums.
They lack the capacity to care about
what you're going through. So, you just
have to create distance.
Elevation requires separation,
which may sound cruel. But by being
involved with these types of people, all
they can do is bring you down.
Just as they've done with many other
people before you, another one bites the
dust.
This is why separation and distance are
very important cue because that is what
is going to protect you.
Now people will try to convince you,
sway you to give them another try, open
up to them again, help them, serve them,
and you're just going to experience the
same thing again and again. and in the
end they'll just end up blaming you. So
think ahead.
Stop blindly trusting people. And if
you're being forced or coerced by
anyone,
make sure you have the right protective
measures in place.
Set firm boundaries. Keep a supportive
network of people around you.
Because the truth is that people with
your tolerance level are rare.
Most people aren't so trusting or
forgiving.
And this is very attractive to people
whose emotional needs have never been
met.
People who want to be loved
unconditionally
regardless of what they do. And they
will test you. They will say and do some
of the most hurtful things to you. just
to pull you back in and get you to trust
in them again.
Because to them that is love. That is
the love they never received as a child.
Well, for us it's discipline, structure,
stability.
So remove yourself from the desperation.
Pull yourself out of there and climb
higher. Ascend.
Because once you reach the peak of the
mountaintop and you're looking down,
everything will begin to make sense.
Have you noticed that people are getting
more desperate recently?
