In the third round she take on Li, the 28th seed. And after a close second set would get through in straight 6-1 7-6. In the fourth round she take on Bouzkova, the 22nd seed, who had just beaten Jabeur in the previous round. There was no problem with Gauff getting through in straight 6-3 6-2 to advance to the quarterfinal. In the quarterfinal Gauff would take on Kostyuk, the number 10 seed who had been playing really well lately.
