Video summary
Tony Gaskins addresses recent allegations against Pastor G. Craige Lewis, noting that he knew the pastor primarily through his public stance against secular music and rappers rather than personal acquaintance. The core of the controversy involves accusations that Lewis mixed the sacred with the profane by allegedly engaging in inappropriate behavior while serving as a pastor, which directly contradicts his previous teachings on maintaining strict boundaries between holy and worldly matters. Gaskins mentions hearing from a mentee about these claims, suggesting that Lewis responded to the allegations with arrogance rather than genuine repentance during a church service where he reportedly made excuses instead of showing true remorse.
Gaskins uses this situation to discuss the nature of human behavior, temptation, and the concept of divine grace, arguing that God knows human flaws beforehand and calls individuals despite their weaknesses. He shares personal anecdotes about his own past struggles with temptation and how his wife helped him maintain integrity, contrasting his steady growth with the rapid rise of frauds who lack spiritual grounding. The speaker emphasizes that while men often receive immense grace from family members to cover up mistakes, this does not mean sin is acceptable, especially when a third party is involved, which ultimately leads to exposure and consequences later in life.
The transcript also touches on the strategic nature of Satan's work, explaining that the devil allows people to become complacent and comfortable with their sins before exposing them at their moment of greatest vulnerability. Gaskins illustrates this by suggesting that Lewis may have been allowed to build a large following and influence thousands of Christians before being brought down, similar to how he himself faced close calls in his early career but was saved through God's intervention. He warns that the devil waits until a person takes grace for granted or thinks they have escaped detection before striking, causing them to fall from their high position publicly.
In conclusion, Gaskins urges men to prepare themselves not just for immediate challenges but for future tests of character, advising against inviting others into one's private sins and stressing the importance of accountability. He reflects on how a young woman once reached out to him after he had changed his life, testing whether he remained the same impulsive person of the past or had truly evolved into a faithful leader, which served as a testament to God's power to transform lives. The video ends with Gaskins reminding viewers that spiritual warfare is often mental and requires constant vigilance, encouraging everyone to seek strength from God rather than relying on their own willpower to resist temptation.

Ladies and gentlemen, Tony Gaskins here.
Now, I keep forgetting
to touch on this, and quite a few of
y'all sent this to me, and I may have to
pause this here in a little bit cuz
one of my
pro athlete mentees reached out to me
for a conversation, and it's supposed to
be in 46 minutes, but I let him know I
was free.
So, I have to see.
But,
I
Some of y'all sent this here to me,
and I don't know much about the brother
other than the way they spell Craig is
wrong. So, I don't know if his name is
Craige, or if that's Craig.
But,
you know, I've always pronounced it G.
Craig
Lewis, but I don't know the brother. I
have not listened to his sermons or
anything of the of the like.
Um all I listened to All I heard was
years ago years ago he said, "You cannot
mix the sacred with the profane."
And the allegations is saying that he
mixed the sacred with the profane. And I
And I heard that one message from that
brother when he was talking about
Essentially, he was saying
like gospel artists and stuff can't be
out here
using secular beats and all of that.
This This one mentee, so I'll be right
back, and I'll take some notes on what I
was saying.
Hey, hey, Tony Gaskins here. I'm back.
Now, I know it sound weird for you
cuz you didn't know I paused, but one of
my pro
athletes had a
uh money question, investing question,
and so
had been talking to him for the last
hour almost or however long.
But, ain't got long. We got 24 minutes
till my next coaching call, y'all. So,
we going to finish this up and I'll
probably have to do a part two or go
live and talk about it. We get more of
the details. And basically over here, we
just studying human behavior and
learning the lessons. I'm going to do a
video on the young lady who pretended to
be a PA student at the University of
Duke School of Medicine or what have
you.
Supposed to be the number one PA school
in the country.
And I got a few clients who are
physician assistant.
And
they
you know, make good money, too, and
doing well for themselves.
And I don't I don't I don't know if they
went to the Duke school, but young lady
got out there faking.
But, back to the brother G. Craig Lewis.
I found out about him when he just like
everybody else when he was standing on
business.
Going after the rappers and all of that
about their messaging and the stuff that
they do and they talk about. And I
really just from a distance because he
was talking so adamantly against that
secular music and stuff. I'm like, well,
you hey, well, if you coming like that,
nah. You really living right. I'd never
seen what the brother looked like. Like,
I didn't know
he looked the way he look. Now, how had
I seen him as a man,
I would have read him differently. And
so,
I can tell how a man is based on how he
looks because
how we look determines how the world
treats us. So,
based on how a man look, I can tell if
he's ever had real emotion. And if he's
ever been him.
And if he has not
he's going to face a lot of struggles in
his life when he comes into fame and
notoriety.
So, it's a lot of women that I talked to
that are beautiful and they will all
tell you I don't come at them sideways
and I don't try them.
And the reason why they will tell you
that is because although they beautiful
to me they basic. They regular because I
didn't been out there and I didn't had
the pick. So
it doesn't tempt me the way if I hadn't
been out there. Had I not been out there
flipping and tossing and doing
everything I was doing then
I would be intrigued and I would be
like, "Whoa, this woman texting me?
Whoa, this woman is my client? Whoa."
She got this booty, this bread, this
smile, this hair, this hair. But to me
it's just like, "Okay, I I recognize
she's a beautiful woman." But G Cred
Louis
he kind of look like a light-skinned
milk dud.
And
you know,
it's kind of like a
Down syndrome
mutant ninja turtle. And so when you
have that kind of look
you're going to struggle. Like you're
not really going to have the pick of the
litter. And I'm not picking on them.
Just kind of describing how
he look. And he have that little hump on
his head.
And when you got that head butt-able
head and like that right there,
these women know to try you.
They know to try you cuz they know
you're not like that. They know you
don't look like that. They know that you
really ain't before you became a pastor,
before you got on, they know you weren't
flipping and tossing in no real way.
And even if you was, they know you still
battling a lot of insecurity. So, they
come they going to come shake a tail
feather, and they going to shake a tail
feather, and that's what I try to tell
you men.
You can't just prepare for tomorrow. You
got to prepare prepare for next week.
You can't prepare for what's right in
front of you. You got to prepare for
what's down the street and around the
corner.
You have to And this what I try to tell
y'all. Like the level that I'm that I'm
preparing for,
I literally am prepared
to be hired
by Beyoncé
one day.
I'm 42.
I'm prepared by the age of 55
to be hired by Beyoncé.
And her just being in a place to where
she feel like
she the richest black woman
and she want the most desirable black
man.
She want the only black man who is a
celebrity
who has no scandal and who has not
fallen,
who all his past is behind him.
His flipping and tossing is behind him,
and that she want to pull a Alicia Keys.
How she
got Swiss Beatz from Mashonda.
And I'm prepared
to
get hired, get put on an NDA, got to
meet in a luxury resort suite
and got to get up and go to the bathroom
and come out the bathroom
and she in the bed butt naked.
You see how far-fetched that is?
But that's what I think about. That's
what I'm prepared for. And I literally
and this has been 5 10 years.
And you know who you know who helped me
do that? My wife.
Because I would jokingly say one time,
man, girl, I ain't I wouldn't cheat on
you with nobody but Oprah and Beyoncé
cuz they got them bees behind their
name. She said, don't say that.
Because you might meet them one day. She
like, you might get the chance to cheat
with them one day.
And at that point for a while I was
like, hey girl, you see me like that?
I'm on that don't happen. Like, girl,
you see me like that? Like she was
serious. My wife don't joke around like
on that kind of stuff.
But I was like, damn,
you see me like that? But see, at the
time I had been getting hired by
celebrities.
So the public the public knowledge was K
Michelle Evelyn from you know, the R&B
singer went on her show. A lot of people
recognize me from that show still to
this day when I be out and about. And
then Evelyn Lozada the from Basketball
Wives and
and that was and then Tiffany Cambridge
from The Game
you know
mother of his children.
So well, some of his children cuz Evelyn
daughter and I got child from him.
And so that was public knowledge. The my
celebrity clients right there who I went
on their shows.
So my wife was looking at like, man
but it's 2010
and you getting hired by celebrities
and then there was a another like mega
mega celebrity couple that I had to sign
a NDA on, so I can't say their name. And
I got flew out
and had to meet and and I had to meet
the young lady, the the the wife,
and her
her assistant
was with her. But I had to meet them in
a hotel room.
And they had booked the room for me, but
I wasn't going to stay in the room, so I
gave it back to them, so they they had
it.
And had to meet in a hotel room. Now,
she had the assistant with her and I.
But imagine if she would have told her
assistant, "Hey,
leave leave."
And then she would have
gotten the bed naked. Pop P, wanted to
pop P.
I'd have been I'd have been caught.
And so I'd have had a decision to make.
And that's what these men don't be
thinking about. Like you really have to
if you see it in your mind,
when you see it in real life, you going
to know how to pass the test.
So anytime I meet a woman
that I feel is beautiful and could be a
temptress, like could be somebody that I
could fall for,
because I almost fell
in my past when I started my career,
and I got some close calls to where it
was like, "Woo woo, boy."
Man, could have said the wrong thing,
could have went the wrong way. That
could That could have went bad, boy.
And so I learn each time I learn I learn
I learn I learn, but God hadn't elevated
me. God hadn't pushed me into purpose,
so I was saved. That's where I call
grace. Then that's why I tell people all
the time,
you're going to be graced.
So, G Craige Lewis
was out there
knock- knocking some stuff off
and God graced him.
Cuz God knows man.
After David did what he did with
Bathsheba, God ain't surprised by
nothing.
After God seen the darn apple of my eye
then went out here
and then stole this man's woman, then
put this man on the front line to get
killed, and then stole this man's woman.
God ain't surprised by nothing we do.
He already knows us. He knows our flaws.
He knows our weaknesses.
He knows that. And so, that's why he
called us to certain things. A lot of
times people wonder like
"Tony, why you talk to women? Why you
do?" It's because God
knows he could trust me.
And it's on me
to fumble. It's on me to mess that up.
And so, God called me to this. And it's
another thing that I love about the
Lord.
That he don't move you too fast. If you
notice, all the frauds got more
followers than me.
That's cuz I'm called by God. So, he
don't let me grow really fast. I grow
because I'm talking sense and it's going
to do what it do, but
I don't grow as fast as the frauds
because my steps are ordered by God.
And that's what these guys don't
understand like And now, yes, this from
a long time ago what they're trying to
say,
but
they're saying G Craige Lewis stuff was
in 2016
or something like that. 20 2011, 2012
2016. I heard Fred Price Jr. say he went
to him in
2020 or 2016, something he said. And it
was like, "Hey, this what you being
accused of.
And tried to have that conversation and
basically G Craige Lewis was just
arrogant about it.
And and that somebody else wrote him,
somebody named Seiko wrote him
and said this what I got on you.
I'm demanding that you sit down from
preaching.
And or I'm coming out with this stuff
and he said come on out with it.
So
he knows he's invincible.
And I saw him on a video G Craige Lewis
addressing the allegations to the church
look like and he was saying that
he went through this stuff a long time
ago and that's probably why he never
really blew up and ain't hear nothing
else from cuz he was going through these
scandals. And he said he he
apologized, repented to his wife in
front of the church
and in front of his children and after
the service his children hugged him for
30 minutes
crying telling him how much they love
him.
And
that's just the grace that we have as
men like
that's just what we
God has graced us like that to where we
can do stupid stuff
and nobody turn their back on us.
Grandmas and mamas will bail their son
and grand- grandson out of jail
50 million times.
If they could bail them out the grave
they would.
Like we men get so many excuses and so
much grace it's ridiculous.
And we try to cry file and you know cry
like a baby and play the victim but
G Craige Lewis was up there talking to a
church full of people.
And he ain't got it didn't look like no
mega church but it it looked like a
couple hundred or it could have been
three or four hundred, depending on how
far back it went, but
he was standing up there and and to me
it sound like he was talking out the
side of side of his neck. It didn't
sound like he was repentant.
It sound like he was lying. Now, I'm
going to be honest with you as a man,
men know men. It sound like he was
lying.
And it sound like he wasn't repentant
and it sound like he was making excuses.
And it sound like this is how he makes a
living now as a pastor. He make a living
from being a pastor.
I do believe people people are so nosy
that people will still go to your church
just to hear what you're saying because
you're entertainment now.
So, people will disconnect from God and
not even getting a a channel or a
connection to God
from the church service. They just there
to be nosy.
They there to record every message on
their phone. So, if he slip up and say
something arrogant or contradicting,
they going straight to the gossip page
to to sell that sell that video.
And people will be in there, but what's
going to go down is the tides are going
to go down. The tides and offering going
to go down.
And then he going to have to start
twisting their arm to come on out.
And the one video I seen look like he
was telling a lady to turn around and to
do some Marilyn Monroe effect with her
dress.
And I thought I heard her say, I was
doing something else. I wasn't listening
all the way, but I thought I heard her
say,
"Back then, I would have did that, but
now, no."
And it was kind of like
what I what I kind of heard, I could
have heard it wrong. I'm like, "Ma'am,
is you on here trying to have class? Cuz
your butt just was standing up twirling
in that dress. And you know this man
married with kids. So, don't sit your
butt down trying to act like you got
class. Go on show that monkey.
Cuz you on the camera standing up
with that dress. So, you might as well
go on flash monkey. Because you already
trying to be a temptress cuz you already
doing the most.
Talking standing up talking what you
want me to do? Why you want me to do
that? What you want me to do?
Child, shut up and get off that Zoom.
Zoom staff said the Zoom knew about this
before we knew about it. Zoom or Skype
that the staff sitting over there eating
tacos with the pastor.
He was talking about Jay-Z.
Ooh, that look good. Ooh, what she
showing?
And that just the video of her now.
We now I'mma tell you you had some
stanky legs that probably
stripped down to that thong and went to
twerking on that camera.
G Crede Lewis could have been getting
all kind of activity, all kind of shows.
And so he had a lot going on allegedly.
And I'mma tell you what, I believe every
bit of it.
I believe every bit of it because this
what I keep trying to tell y'all. When
you open your mouth,
you introduce spiritual warfare to your
life.
And everybody's spiritual warfare going
to look different.
And I go through mine. I go through
mine. For me, it mine be more so mental.
It don't really be a physical thing for
me. It for me, it more so be mental. I
be in my head.
I be overthinking. And so for me, I have
to just I got to find out like that
that's why y'all going to see me on here
talking even more. Like and when the
devil go to try me, I say, "Okay.
You want to try me?
You want to try to get me in my head and
all that?
I'm finna put my foot on your neck.
Punk. And I'mma be I'mma do a video
every hour of the day.
I'm finna go live. I'm finna be with the
Purpose Pusher community doing the class
every day. Since since you want to try
me,
I'm going to show you you can't you
can't break me.
I'm powered by God.
And I take on the challenge.
I take on the challenge and I get down
with it. Like I'm not feeling to lay
down.
You're not feeling to have you're not
feeling to punk me.
And this and this is the thing is
you can't introduce
somebody else to your sin. Like if you
weak beyond measure
and you have to
watch you some corn or you got to look
at a nasty magazine or you looking at a
open Buddha hole on Instagram,
you'll be better off doing that where
it's just between you and God.
And you got to repent to God. But when
you bring a third party into your sin
and no I'm not condoning that. We just
talking about the lesser of two evils.
And we just being realistic because a
lot of people expect everybody to be
able to be perfect or everybody to have
the strength that they need. Now
everybody can have it because God will
grant it if you ask him and that's what
I do. Lord, grant me the strength.
But everybody don't believe that they
can be granted the strength.
And this is where y'all boys go wrong.
You invite
a third party into your sin.
So it's already you and God. God see
everything you doing.
Then you go
and you invite
a man, woman, or child
into your sin.
And that's when it's over for you.
Cuz
somebody going to tell.
And the child might not tell while they
a child, but they going to tell when
they become an adult.
I seen one boy on there and he you know,
he was a gay he like and look like, but
he was talking about his pastor and what
his pastor used to do to him when he was
a
a teenager or a 12-year-old or something
like that. I said, "Well, the pastor
thought he got away."
He didn't get no way.
That boy That boy got old enough to tell
his story, and so now you got to pay.
And so that's the thing, it's like I got
to pass.
And it might be one day somebody come
out and say, "Yeah, Tony Gaskins slept
with me. Yeah, he slept with me at this
point in time." By then, they might have
their dates wrong. And that might they
might be trying to say, "Oh, it was
2026."
And I I I'll just let them have it, to
be honest with you. I I'll go and tell
them and say, "Child, that was 2002.
You trying to be relevant."
Cuz why your butt ain't Show Where Where
Where your screenshots at then? Where
your text messages at? Where all that
at? Child, I was in college.
Child, I was a hot mess.
Child, you already in my book. I know I
already wrote about you. I went on Oprah
and talked about you.
And so
it's you just never know. But one thing
I do know is we are graced. We are given
grace.
And so I never forget.
Young lady, dealt with her.
And was young and dumb.
Felt like I shouldn't have dealt with
her.
And then after
I changed my life
and I got on
she reached back She reached back out to
me.
"Hey, Tony.
How you doing?"
I was going somewhere for a speaking
engagement, and she lived there. She was
like, "I live in such and such."
And I wrote her back. "Hey, thank you
very much. Oh, okay, that's cool. Nice
to know."
What she was doing
was trying to see if I was still the
same person.
She was trying to see if I was still the
same person. She She wanted to see if I
was the Tony of old
who would flip and toss on a dime.
And she wanted to see, okay, now
he married, he faithful, he a speaker,
he a teacher, he a leader.
Let me see if he like every other man.
And God illuminated it to me. He showed
me. I got a coaching 2 minutes, y'all,
so I got to go.
And so I was able to sidestep
that right there temptation. Like the
Bible say, wherever there is temptation,
there will be a way of escape. And so G.
Craige Lewis
went out there
and got into that right there.
Y'all forgive me, my wife is texting me.
And And it came out And here's the
thing, this what I try to tell y'all,
too.
The devil know the work that you're
doing. So G. Craige Lewis had probably
hundreds of thousands of people give up
secular music.
He probably had so many people stop
going to concerts, give up secular
music. And he probably put a little
dent. It could have been 1%. 1% dent,
which could turn into hundreds of
millions of dollars.
And he he could have cost the industry
some money.
And cost people some fans. And so you
know what the devil say?
I'm finna set him up. I'm finna hit him
where he weak.
And I'mma let him keep talking, keep
building. I'mma let him get
tens of thousands of Christians to
believe in him and all of that. I'mma
let him get to the mountain top, and
then I'mma put my side 12 in his back.
And I'mma kick him off the mountain top
and let everybody watch him fall to his
proverbial death.
That's how Satan works.
He wants you to get comfortable. He
wants you to get complacent.
He won't let you get caught. He won't
expose you right away because he wants
you to get complacent. He wants you to
take God's grace for granted.
And as soon as he know you're taking
God's grace for granted,
that's when he expose you.
Or you think you didn't got away, that's
when he expose you.
So, and then you got to put things in
into context. So, he did all this while
he was a pastor. And like actively on,
actively a pastor, actively him,
actively that guy, people looking up to
him. And that's when you got to pay a
price. Had he did it like when he was in
seminary school or before he became a
pastor, before he, you know, the
beginning first year of marriage or
fatherhood and just young and dumb,
people probably be like, oh, okay, all
right. You know, it was a stupid
mistake. Every man make the stupid
mistake. It is what it is.
And and just went from there. But the
fact that he was on and he was of age
and he was old enough and you know
better and you're doing it,
they probably like, no, can't have that
now.
But hey, God bless you.
Let me see if my client pick up the
phone. If so, I got to go. Y'all make
