PANCHAYAT 4x7 REACTION! | Jitendra Kumar | Raghuvir Yadav | Neena Gupta
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The video features a reaction to the seventh episode of the series *Panchayat*, hosted by Jitendra Kumar and Raghuvir Yadav, who discuss their anticipation for the final two episodes of the season. The hosts begin by sharing an anecdote about a radio show listener named Corbin, who called in to express deep gratitude after failing to win a contest ticket. Despite not winning, Corbin shared a touching story about his near-fatal experience awaiting a heart transplant and encouraged listeners not to give up during difficult times, particularly around the holidays. The hosts humorously note that while Corbin's emotional appeal was moving, he still did not win any tickets, highlighting the comedic contrast between sincere human moments and their own scripted reality.
As they dive into the episode itself, the duo praises the writing for its realistic portrayal of political dynamics within a village setting, specifically noting how the main characters are not always right. They appreciate that the show depicts leaders who have been in power for so long that they may become complacent, only acting when pressured to look good. The hosts particularly highlight Prahlad's powerful monologue moments as morally resonant and well-acted, even though he is sometimes shown making mistakes or being wrong. This nuanced approach adds depth to the narrative by showing that authority figures are not infallible, which makes the storytelling more engaging and believable for viewers.
A significant portion of their discussion revolves around the subplot involving Abhishek, Rinky, and the upcoming election results. The hosts speculate on whether Abhishek will remain in his appointed position after the new leadership takes over, suggesting that his stay is likely motivated by his relationship with Rinky rather than an elected role. They clarify that Abhishek is a city secretary type of figure who performs administrative tasks assigned to him, distinct from the elected officials like Prahlad. Additionally, they touch upon the unresolved romantic tension between Rinky and Abhishek, comparing it to classic TV tropes where characters remain in love despite obstacles, leaving viewers curious about how the writers will resolve this storyline in future seasons or spin-offs.
The conversation concludes with excitement for the final episodes and potential future seasons of the show. The hosts express eagerness to see how the election plays out, whether Prahlad's party wins or loses, and what consequences that victory or defeat will have for the village administration. They also mention their plans to watch the remaining episodes immediately after release to provide timely reactions, emphasizing their commitment to keeping up with the series' fast-paced narrative. Overall, they recommend the episode as a strong installment that balances humor, drama, and social commentary, inviting viewers to share their own thoughts in the comments section before wrapping up their reaction video.

You ever listen to Heidi and Frank?
>> I used to when
>> Yeah.
>> we uh used to
>> If you don't know Heidi and Frank, it's
a local show here in LA on K uh K L O S.
It's a classic. It's been around for a
long, long time.
Heidi is I mean Frank is you.
There was a call that came in
for a contest to win tickets. The guy
didn't win and he just said, "I want to
thank you guys so much. I've been
listening for so long." And he goes on
this long story
6 7 minutes about how he was on the list
to get a heart transplant. He he almost
died. Garth Brooks and Clayton Kershaw
sent him get well messages. He was
almost pronounced dead several times.
And Heidi's wow. And you're listening to
this guy and you're going, "Oh my
goodness." And he said, "I just wanted
to tell y'all that to everybody you know
to give you cuz And he starts to cry and
he says, "Cuz people I know are feeling
really down sometimes and they might
want to give up especially around the
holidays, but I just want to tell you
there's still hope. Don't give up."
Moment of silence. Frank says, "You're
still not winning any tickets."
By the way, I pointed to my radio. I
said, "That was Corbin."
>> She was a regular sweet lady Jane of
mine.
>> She was.
>> Heidi was.
>> Uh she's got the greatest laugh on
radio, man. Her laugh is contagious.
>> I recognize her cuz of her voice.
>> Yeah, I'm sure.
>> NOT HER FACE.
>> HEY, WE'RE BACK
>> FIRST STUPID ACT OF CORBIN.
>> I'M FRANK.
>> Follow us on Instagram, Twitter for
juicy content. They get over to some
picture and photos of Kelly but we're
going back.
>> I'm definitely Heidi.
>> Today we are on episode
seven of Panchaiat.
>> Episode
>> seven
>> Two episodes left.
>> You mean one after this?
>> Yeah, I mean yeah. We haven't seen the
episode yet.
>> Yep.
>> Um but
uh
really I
>> they don't know that we watch all the
episodes first so we can plan our
reactions.
>> Yeah.
You don't I'm going to cut that now.
>> Okay.
>> I hope I don't forget.
>> Sorry.
>> I hope I don't forget.
>> Yeah, cuz I
We're damn good actors.
>> Yeah, we are.
>> I mean, we've built a whole reaction
channel around fake reactions.
>> Mhm, 100%.
>> I mean, that was the goal the whole
time. It was just an acting exercise.
>> We need our Oscars.
>> Yep.
>> Uh, anyways, uh, looking forward to
this.
>> Someone's going to believe that.
See, I told you.
>> Um
>> Who was that guy just there?
>> No [ __ ] clue.
>> It's like the guy on the ranch who's
always telling everybody else he knew
what was going to happen and they
doubted him.
>> Yeah, I don't know, but he lives on a
ranch, that guy. See, I told you.
Do you think this guy's actually like
this in real life?
>> Yeah, makes you wonder, doesn't it?
>> You're going to go?
Yeah, you're going now.
He's He's going now.
>> Hm, that was weird.
>> Uh-huh.
Yes, you were speaking in
I'm not interested in you as a
relationship.
>> No one ended, bro. No one to end it.
Yeah.
>> What is he going to do to get back
>> You run on that. Yep. You fix it first,
you win.
It's like your hair.
Good Indian hair as a kid.
It's weird it's not in my DNA.
Good job, little guy.
On that evening
did that, but then Abhishek's reaction
to it. Yeah. That was interesting.
Is Abhishek an atheist, do we?
I don't know.
To be fair
I would spend time with my wife, too.
I wouldn't just go to a random village.
No sound. You need a better flashlight.
>> Kitty.
>> Coyotes or wolves?
>> You guys have wolves?
>> Yes, yes, yes, yes.
>> Not sure you're ready to be a dad.
Yeah.
Probably not.
Really?
Oh,
he got somebody.
>> They fixed them.
They deserve the credit.
>> Yeah.
>> One day left.
What's that noise?
Sounds like the
radiator for the motorcycle.
Oh, no, it's the truck.
Uh, okay.
Interesting choices.
This is called gaslighting.
And they want us to feel it personally.
Yeah.
You guys are the drama.
The argument he's making is correct.
He's like, "Why don't you just let me do
it?"
>> Right.
>> a reason we don't trust you.
>> Yeah.
>> Honestly, just packing.
Oh, that's why. They won't have a seat
for him.
If you don't want to go, you don't have
to.
>> Then video it. But I don't know.
>> I don't know. The car inside.
You don't have to go now, Kia. You don't
want to go to the car in the back of the
truck.
I don't know if I can go to the mall. I
think I'm going to go to the mall and
get a job video. I'm going to have to go
to the mall and get a job video.
It's the car in here. Yeah.
Okay. I'm going to go to the mall and
get a job video.
I'm going to go to the mall and get a
job video. I'm going to go to the mall
and get a job video.
I'm going to go to the mall and get a
job video. I'm going to go to the mall
and get a job video. I'm going to go to
the mall and
I'm going to go to the mall and get a
job video. I'm going to go to the mall
and get a job video.
>> They were scared to come here.
That village estate was there.
Good grief.
Smack the [ __ ]
Come to me.
Come get her.
I miss the ticket.
I'm going to get out of the university
like you guys.
Without a single drama.
>> And then there's that.
That That will win votes.
I think you meant to say Mogambo.
Can we have a TV series where he's the
lead and we just follow him around
everywhere he goes?
Are they on the top of the water tower?
>> Yeah, it's dark. People can't see.
>> Which they've clearly been doing for a
while now.
Keep it in your pants, Rick.
Kiss the boo-boo. Kiss the boo-boo. KISS
THE BOO-BOO.
AH, [ __ ] COME ON.
WRITERS, you guys suck.
Meanwhile back in the village, it's
election day, election day, election
day, election day.
See, I told you.
How long has it been in your finger?
Uh
I think I've heard 53 years.
Good episode. Um
Yeah, it set it up
real nice because you know what I
wouldn't mind actually seeing. I don't
know if it's going to happen.
>> A big dance number.
>> No.
>> Oh.
>> Um
Our Pranji losing.
>> Yeah, me too. That's what I'm I'm
believing for the realism of that.
>> Um
I mean not that I wouldn't believe that
they could win. I I think it might be an
interesting way to go into next season.
>> Yeah.
>> Uh
what how do they
>> What happens in the village?
>> to not being the leads in the village.
>> Right.
>> Um are they
>> Does Abhishek stay?
>> Yeah. Does Abhishek stay? I think
there's going to be a lot of interesting
things that happen if And obviously how
does these other people who, you know,
he often times says certain things that
that you're like
>> No, he's right.
>> Mhm. He's right, but you know he's not
saying that because he actually believes
it. He's saying it because he knows,
you know, he could get a foot up on
Pranji.
>> Yeah.
>> It's not because like
>> Like Prahlad,
he actually doesn't want to be in
politics. He you know, and like he would
make a good politician because of that
reason.
>> This other guy
>> just he's they've always wanted to be
the in charge just to be in charge.
>> Yeah. Not to make everybody's life
better.
>> No, they just want the power.
>> And they want to be venerated. They want
to be looked at and oh, you're so
awesome.
>> Yeah.
>> Um but I so I do like the fact that in
in the writing that it's not always that
Prahangi and and them are always right.
They're often They're often wrong and
you you often see sometimes that they
fall into
just the fact that they've been in
political power for so long that, you
know, maybe they've been complacent and
not, you know, being a civil servant.
>> times they do stuff that should have
been done a long time ago, but they're
only doing it now because they've gotten
pressure and they want it to look good.
>> Yep.
>> Um, and so it's
it's a it's good writing in that aspect.
>> Do you have a favorite character?
>> I mean
Pralad's kind of easy to really root
for.
>> Yeah, he's my he's my Chewbacca.
Although Prahangi has done a lot of
really good like um in the end of this
season
some really good monologue moments
they've given him.
>> Everybody's great.
>> Um, acting-wise, but as far as the
character that resonates with me the
most, he's my he's he's my that he's
been the kind of the the moral you know,
center for the group.
>> But Prahangi at the end of the last
episode that big monologue um that he
had at the end
>> Mhm.
>> and then this one as well, um he did a
very good job.
>> Um, clearly Rinky and Abhishek have been
meeting in the tower.
They should have had a kiss the boo-boo.
They're saving
They're saving the that for something.
Another series, a spin-off.
How long you going to wait?
>> Rinky loves Abhishek.
>> How long are you going to wait for it
though, you know?
>> They did that with Happy Days, Joanie
loves Chachi.
Or are they ever going to
>> I don't know.
>> kind of resolve it.
>> I don't know. It's been on
>> Or is it cuz it's not about that? The
show's not
>> on level one simmer
every season now.
>> But the show's not even about that.
>> I know. I know it's not.
>> Um, so it's like
>> But they don't let it go.
>> They No.
Um
Like
I've got it figured that the lights are
turned on that they would
separate. I figured that would happen.
>> I'm with you. I think the writing's
I think that I think they're going to
lose.
>> I don't know if they're going to lose.
Um, but I
>> That's what my instinct tells me the
writers are
>> Obviously, there's so many directions
you can go in terms of if you have them
win, they still have to get stuff done.
And obviously,
the will the show be able to happen
because
um, will Abhishek stay?
That's what I think happens. I think
they lose
and Abhishek stays and it's very clear
that the reason he stays is because of
Rinky. And he he chooses to stay even
though there's no position for him to
have in the village with the Panchayat
office.
>> Well, he
I don't think um, the elected people
really have a say in
his position cuz he is hired by the
>> be right. That's right. He's positioned
if he doesn't like
>> Right. he might be like, oh yeah, I
don't want to be
>> Oh, you No, that's right.
>> they're still there.
>> And that would be interesting to have
them win, but he stays because like you
said, that position isn't chosen by the
new leadership. It's chosen by the up
above and that he chooses to stay for a
couple reasons, the primary one being
Rinky, but they also might say to him,
you can stay because then you can be
someone who's got an inside foot in
their office.
>> Yeah, he's not an elected official. He's
an appointed officer. Um,
I'm still kind of confused as like what
exactly
he does cuz it's a very unique position
for India.
He's almost like just like a a city
secretary or something like that.
>> Yeah, I think that is the role. He just
does whatever he's told like using a
city mayor, the mayor tells the
secretary, here's the things we need to
have the money sent to make this phone
call for me, do this for me.
>> Essentially, it was like this.
>> Yeah, basically what it is.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Good episode.
>> Yeah, good episode. I'm looking forward
to see how they finish it here
and what exactly they do cuz it's been a
fantastic and then we'll be caught up
and I'm assuming next season.
Did have they said like how many are
they going to is it going to end at five
or they going to keep going do they not
know? Um, but it'll be exciting too cuz
I think they release them one by one.
>> Mhm.
>> And it'll be exciting to
>> Very exciting to be
>> experience that with everybody.
>> in real time.
>> Yeah, whenever we get there. Unless um
you know
you know Christian Owen calls up and I'm
I'm booked for the for those months.
>> True.
>> Yeah.
>> Which could have happened.
>> It could happen.
>> Yeah.
Uh, anyways, let us know what you
thought about the episode and uh,
anything else we need to know down
below.
