Video summary

The latest patch update for Palworld, version 1.0.3, introduces several significant improvements designed to enhance the gameplay experience, particularly by making late-game content more accessible to newer players at an earlier stage. The first notable adjustment involves the Jetragon saddle; while reducing its unlock requirement from level 79 to level 70 is a positive step for this top-tier flying mount capable of firing missiles, the host notes that it may not drastically alter player progression compared to other mounts like Zenolord which were already available earlier. Additionally, the crafting materials required for the Jetragon saddle have been reduced, further easing the burden on players seeking to utilize one of the game's best aerial companions sooner in their journey. A major highlight of this update is the substantial reduction in the level requirement needed to build structures on water surfaces, dropping from a restrictive level 66 down to just level 23. This change addresses a common frustration for new players who often select base locations near bodies of water but are forced to wait until much later levels before they can utilize that terrain effectively. By allowing construction at such an early stage, the update encourages exploration and settlement building in diverse environments without requiring players to reach high-level milestones just to access flat land on lakes or oceans, making the game feel more responsive from the start. Further enhancements focus heavily on resource gathering efficiency through changes regarding World Tree Holy Water and crude oil extraction mechanics. The duration of the aura provided by consuming this water has been extended when used within the World Tree area, while its weight in inventory was slashed to a negligible amount for those with settings enabled. Players can now acquire significantly more holy water from defeating pals and deep friend springs within that zone, and it is also obtainable through fishing at large ponds or as rewards from world tree expeditions, creating multiple avenues for farming this essential resource. Similarly, the costs to build crude oil extractors and their power generators have been lowered, while production speeds have increased; combined with the ability to place high-pressure extractors anywhere on the map including skyscrapers, these updates streamline industrial operations and allow for much more efficient resource management across any chosen base location.

In this Palworld video, I want to talk about five plus amazing changes added with the latest patch update of 1.0.3. Let's go. How's it going, guys? My name's DP Jen. If you do enjoy the video, leaving a like really helps me out. And if you like what you see and want to see more, be sure to subscribe. Okay, so the latest patch update to Palworld version 1.0.3 changed a few different things. For what in my opinion is for the better. Now, said changes will not only make things more obtainable quicker, but also give newer players access to things which were originally late game stuff much, much earlier. So, let's get into the said changes, people. Okay, so the first change I want to talk about is in my opinion probably the least effective change. So, they only get better from this point on, guys. But, it's to do with Jetragon. So, they have discounted nine levels of the level needed to unlock these pals' saddle within the technology tab. It was previously a level 79 required, but now it's a level 70 which is required before you can actually unlock this. Now, for me, this is a decent change, but to be honest, although Jetragon is one of the best flyers in the game, the fastest pal in the game in regards to flying, much better flying mounts like Zenolord can be unlocked four levels prior in regards to their saddle. I mean, I like the idea with this change, but if I'm honest, I don't feel it will affect players all that much. But, that's just my opinion. I mean, for sure, Jetragon's saddle does offer more than just a ride. It's capable of shooting out missiles in a fashion arguably being one of the best saddles in the game or up there, anyway. So, yeah, I get it, but don't feel as though it was needed that much. What do you think? Let Let know down below in the comments section. Another thing they have done in regards to Jet Dragon Saddle is reduce the required materials to craft it. It's now 70 leather, 48 solar ingots, 12 AI cores, and 210 power room fragments. Can't tell you what it was previously as I crafted this saddle many many moons ago. Okay, so let's move on to a change they've made which I think is absolutely incredible. And that is the fact now players can build on water from a level 23. This has been massively reduced as previously it was locked behind the player being a level 66. So like 43 level reduction for players in regards to being able to build on water. Now I know that this for some players won't be much of a big deal, but I feel if I put myself in the shoes of newer players, having to wait until being a level 66 before being able to build on water would be a gripe I wouldn't feel I'd be interested in that much by the time I got to that level. Especially considering many players will have indeed already picked a chosen main base location by this point. And I don't feel players would pick up a move when you have to consider the fact that there's not much to gain on building on water besides just having a massively flat piece of land to really build on. Or well I should say a flat base to build on which isn't something massively important to many many players. But being able to build from such an early level now is definitely something I feel now players, early level players, will indeed look to do. And I think it is a great great change for that very reason alone. Okay, so another great change, well actually a few changes made, is in regards to that World Tree Holy Water. So firstly, the effects of the World Tree Holy Water will now last longer. Now I'm guessing this is to do with when consumed. When you do this, if you consume this within the World Tree area, you basically gain that aura which allows you to farm the ore and the mythical wood within the world tree area itself. I imagine in regards to probably using the ancient relic cycle or two, it may last a little longer. That I haven't tested though. They've also, guys, massively reduced the weight of the world tree holy water to where it used to weigh one per water, it's now a 0.1. So, that is a massive weight reduction for people who don't have access to world settings and can turn off weight. So, yeah, it's great. They've also, guys, increased the amount of world tree holy water you get from slaying pals within the world tree area and also increased it from the deep friend springs you can also find within the world tree area. So, if you load up your party people with pals, that will give you increased drops from certain pal types, i.e. ice, fire, etc., etc. Go here, guys, and farm pals within the world tree area, you'll get a ton and ton of world tree holy water. So, yeah, a great change in that regard. Now, another thing they've done to world tree holy water is indeed added it into the loot pool of large fishing ponds. So, if you fish, if you fish a lot from the large Well, actually, in my opinion, I rarely use a large fishing pond, but now actually gives it a use. I'm actually going to use the one I put down in my base and I haven't been anywhere near it. Now, yeah, I don't believe you'll get massive amounts from this, but like I said, it's still there to get it, so you may as well do it, guys. They've also added in world tree holy water as a reward from the world tree expeditions from the pal expedition station, which is great. Basically, an AFK way of earning that world tree holy water, much like fishing, but you'll get way more from the world tree expedition, that is for sure, people. Okay, so lastly, guys, we are going to move on to the crude oil extractors. So, they have reduced the building cost to build these. That's both the crude oil extractor and the high pressure crude oil extractor, but also the large power generator to power these things. This will indeed mean you can actually build these a lot easier now and actually run them a lot easier, too, which is great. But, I know what you are thinking. It's still kind of pointless when you can only generate one oil per week. Well, obviously in that slow I'm being sarcastic, but it's still pretty slow. But, they've also, guys, increased the crude oil production speed for both the crude oil extractor and the high pressure version, which is a massive change in the right direction. And remember, guys, if you missed my previous video, you can actually build the high pressure crude oil extractor anywhere on the entire map. If you missed that video, I'll link it in the video description. I mean, you can do this on a water base, you can do this on a skyscraper on the third floor of a building, absolutely anywhere on the map, guys, you can actually build the high pressure crude oil extractor, meaning you can farm it more efficiently now anywhere you like. So, yeah, again, if you missed that video, you'll find it linked in the video description exactly how that is indeed done, guys. But, there we have it. Some great changes. There's actually more changes than this, but these I feel are the best players must know about. I'll link a video also in the video description that make cover the entirety of these patch notes. There are a couple of other changes, as well. But, yeah, the main ones I have covered today that I feel again new players need to know about. So, yeah, guys, changes to jet dragon, changes to the crude oil extractor, changes to the world tree holding water, changes to levels required to be built on water itself. Pretty, pretty cool. Guys, if you enjoyed the video, leave it a like. It really helps. And if you like what you see and want to see more, be sure to subscribe. And hopefully, guys, I will see you on that next one.
