The coolest things that I get to do is
work with experts in the field here. I
have a lot of access [music] to people
who are very interested in collaborating
and teaching me how to learn these
softwares that are becoming very
prevalent [music] in the medical
illustration field. I'm taking 3D scans
[music]
of wax models and taking them into
ZBrush and reinstalling a lot of the
textures and filling [music] in some of
the blank spaces from the scans to make
accessible files for med [music]
students. It's really not challenging to
double major. I feel like all of my
professors are very welcome [music] and
excited to hear about all the different
things that I'm doing across campus. I
have even taken my art skills and
applied them to my science courses.

There are very few places that really
teach people how to love to work.
[music]
And Gustavis is a place that has so many
opportunities [music]
available to students that they are able
to learn how to love the process and
love the work. And that sets them up for
success in [music] any field,
professional or creative or scientific,
that they choose to go into.
