Our Last Day in Mexico, Finding Wild Monkeys & Huge Trip Announcement! ✈️ | Vlog Part 6
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
On their final day in Mexico, the vloggers reflect on a week filled with relaxation and minor physical challenges, noting that they are excessively bloated from the all-inclusive buffet meals and intense heat. This discomfort has led them to wear loose clothing and bathing suits rather than their favorite outfits, as one of them jokingly describes looking like a "stuffed sausage" after breakfast. Despite the swelling, they managed to enjoy a variety of activities including massages at the resort, which were so enjoyable that the therapists mistook them for regular clients returning for future vacations. The day also involved a visit to Route 66 for dinner, an American barbecue restaurant that exceeded their expectations with delicious beef brisket and unique seating arrangements designed to look like car seats.
The couple took time to explore the resort grounds and stumbled upon wild monkeys hanging from trees near the property, which provided a surprising and slightly frightening encounter on their last day. They also indulged in several new drinks, including tequila sodas with pineapple and lime, frozen Palomas made with grapefruit soda, and a special cocktail called "Horo Loco" at the lobby bar. While they enjoyed the food and atmosphere, they acknowledged that the heat and alcohol consumption contributed to their bloating, making them eager to return home soon. They expressed missing their cat, Zoey (affectionately called Nunu), and their friend Gregory, highlighting how much they look forward to seeing them again once they are back in Ontario.
Looking ahead, the vloggers share exciting news about their next major adventure: a European cruise on the Abraham Hicks ship, which is currently at the top of their bucket list despite being only 43 years old. They also discussed their philosophy on style and self-expression, explaining how they encourage clients to wear clothes that make them feel like their ideal selves, even if those items are not practical for everyday life at home. This mindset extends to their approach to home decor, where they suggest making small, intentional changes rather than complete redecorations to reflect one's true identity. The video concludes with scenes from a silent party at the resort, where guests listen to live music while dancing without speaking, capturing the relaxed and festive vibe of their final evening before heading home.

Happy Wednesday. Did I even say it was
Tuesday yesterday? I'm pretty sure I
called yesterday Monday all day. I don't
know. I don't even know what day it is
anymore. Yeah? I don't know. We had a
beautiful line, went to the buffet. We
got up extra early still from the line
like we would have laid around more to
go to the buffet to avoid the line and
luckily there was no line that ever
showed up. Today is muchos dedos around
here, which is perfect. It's our last
day. There's so much bloating happening.
We are excessively bloated. I had this
little green dress on this morning and
by the time we got back from breakfast
it was like a tube dress. Looked like a
little stuffed sausage.
So, now we have something loose on and
bathing suits on.
People will just think I'm pregnant.
It is going down. So, today our strategy
is to get some tequila with soda, splash
of pineapple and lime. And apparently
Darren was asking Chat GPT that's the
way to do it.
It will dissolve.
>> [laughter]
>> It's low sugar, it's not creamy, it's
it's just good. It'll dissolve all the
stuff.
Caesar is coming back today because we
need to give him his chocolate that
would have died in the car yesterday.
Then we are going to go get massages as
we do and we're going to Route 66 for
dinner, I think.
Haven't been to it yet.
Yeah. So, like beef brisket. Oh my gosh,
they do beef so good here. I'm going to
have some brisket for dinner. It's
actually a really nice. I thought it was
going to be designed like a
little diner, but it's not. It looks
really nice inside. Obviously, I will
bring you and the pool today is
wonderfully dead. My burn also subsided
yesterday, so now I just got a mean tan.
Hopefully, I can keep that up in Ontario
in May and June. At least July and
August.
>> Where did you buy these towels?
So always so good at Macy's.
>> They're really squishy and huge. They're
nice. I like a really large beach towel
though even if it's thin.
>> Yeah, true.
>> Like the ones from Turkey that we have
at home.
>> I know those are from Turkey.
>> Yeah, they're so good.
Look how beautiful it is here today.
It's absolutely dead.
Yay for everyone having gone home. And
the aqua gym guy is coming back at 12:00
but I don't think I've got it in me
today.
>> No.
>> We did one workout this week. That's
good.
That's good. I try to get to the gym at
least once a week at home so that's
good. I worked out more this week than
some of the most recent weeks at home.
So we're going to hunt for chairs with
shade and then we're going to hunt for
drinks. Hello. We are finished with our
massages. It was amazing. It was so
funny. They now see us as like the
massage host. She's like, "You come
tomorrow?"
No, we have to go home tomorrow. "You
come next vacation?"
>> [laughter]
>> We're going to Europe next vacation
though.
Spoiler alert, we're going on the
European Abraham Hicks cruise and I
cannot wait. It's one of the biggest and
last bucket list things on my bucket
list which is great being that I'm only
43 and I could say that pretty much
every single thing. I want to go on a
helicopter ride in Hawaii and that's
honestly all I can think of. I can't
think of anything else. I've stumbled
upon thanks to Darren a new drink. It's
called a Paloma. You might have heard of
it. I have not until this trip but it is
I looked it up so I could tell you guys
and now I can't remember.
>> [laughter]
>> Darren's going to tell us. It is
tequila. It has an optional salt rim. It
has a pop.
>> Yeah, grapefruit.
>> Grapefruit soda not juice. Grapefruit
soda.
>> That's essentially what it is but if you
want to apply nice home tasting Paloma I
mean
soda water, grapefruit juice, and
>> Oh, no pop, just soda water instead of
the pop with grapefruit juice, but the
dirty way is grapefruit soda. And it's I
think I said tequila. I said tequila. It
is delicious. You can get a frozen one,
too. But it said the frozen one is
sweeter for some reason. We're
consulting ChatGPT. Darren is
experiencing quite unfortunate
heartburn. And earlier today we were
experiencing a lot of hecking bloating.
It was bad.
So, I'm happy that we're going home
tomorrow. I miss Gregory. I can't wait
to see Gregos and our cat, whose name is
Zoey, but we named her Bubs, and now we
affectionately call her Nunu, so it is
what it is, you know, animal names.
>> This is the pool vibe today.
It's fantastic.
Except for the group here.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Who doesn't want to talk about anything
topical, and just uses swear words every
two words that they say, and that's a
little grating, right away you know?
However, it's hard to find chairs at
this time of day, but I'm going to go
get another Paloma. Bye.
>> Frozen.
>> Oh, frozen.
>> Hello, YouTubes.
It is the evening now on our last day,
our final evening at times. Having a get
ready beer. We are in the midst of
packing everything up. However, we were
talking today about how we're both ready
to go home. We just It's a lot. I can't
imagine doing an all-inclusive for
longer than one week, unless you're
doing like we did the first time when we
went for two weeks, unless you're doing
excursions and and working. We were
working the first time.
>> That made it a bit easier. So, we are
going to Route 66 for dinner, which I
think I had already said was like a an
American barbecue type of place. Doesn't
look like the little diner I thought it
would. So, I'm going to relax, pack some
things up, and then we will go. I'm
going to figure out what I'm wearing.
This is a very cute
little dress, which I love, but I kind
of really, really loved that outfit from
last night, that new green one. Clearly
I dig green, so I think I'm going to
slap that one on again, cuz I don't
think I'll be wearing that at home
anytime soon. But anyway, just thought I
would update. We did a second whole
relaxation at the pool time, which was
glorious, my favorite word. So, yeah,
going to have some get ready beer, pack
some things up, go have some delicious
barbecue, and then see what's up for
this evening.
We are off to dinner.
>> Last night.
>> Didn't wear at all what I thought I was
going to. Instead, we're going comfy. I
was like, okay, what do I really love to
wear, but I know that I'm not going to
be able to wear at home soonish. Yeah,
which
>> Once the summer comes.
>> Yes.
>> Not something you wear abroad.
>> I just heard Oh, look, a monkey.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Holy moly.
>> He's freaking out.
>> Hey, bud.
>> Where is he?
>> Yeah, here he is.
Here he comes.
Oh, oh.
Hanging with his tail. Oh, there's
another guy on the fence.
You see him?
>> See him over there?
>> He's large.
He's his tail.
>> He's just chilling there.
>> And his buddy is swinging all over the
place.
Oh, off he goes.
That's the first monkeys we saw.
>> Yeah, it is.
>> Oh, he's flying.
>> Come back, man.
He's going to go get his friend. All
right, dude, I hope you find what you're
looking for in life.
>> Yeah, I hear him.
They are gangly, eh?
>> I know, they're freaky. They freak me
out, man. So, if anyone rented this
property where that rent sign is,
>> they would have
>> you get monkeys. Tell us your thoughts
of the last day thus far.
>> It's been very relaxing. We did pool
twice. Usually we go just the morning
and then the afternoon is kind of more
just chill, but we went to the pool. We
went for a massage.
>> Oh, gosh.
>> So good.
>> I'm going to miss Laura.
>> And then we decided to go back to the
pool.
>> Yeah.
>> We haven't eaten since breakfast.
>> And yet not really hungry. Like it's so
strange. I'm so much more hungry at
home. It's the heat. It's the beverages.
>> Yeah, we're we're full on
>> Also, it's the breakfast buffet.
Although, we are not crazy buffet
people. Like what I showed you guys the
day one, I always say every morning I'm
like, "I'm going to get something
different this time."
>> Turkey bacon. Try one of those.
>> I did have a cheese quesadilla with rice
and like a beef barbacoa on it. That's
not actually what the beef is called,
but it was basically exactly the same as
the beef barbacoa that I had.
>> It started with a T, but it was like a
pulled beef. Oh my gosh, it was so good.
That's why I'm excited for brisket.
>> Ready to go home?
>> Oh, we also had a little moment at the
lobby bar because we were just so wiped
that I was like, "Okay, well, either
>> We had
>> I was either going to sleep all day or
not
have coffee.
>> We had an espresso, Kahlua, Bailey's on
the rocks. It was like a What do they
call it?
>> Uh horo loco? Horo loco? Loco?
>> horo loco. Horo loco.
>> Horo loco.
>> No, but like isn't that a Monte Cristo
coffee?
>> I don't think so. I think Monte Cristo
always have Grand Marnier in it. But
there's always different ones, too. Like
different restaurants have different
>> Yeah.
>> This is a party zone. We're also going
to look at different things going on
later and see what's up. This is Route
66.
My favorite part are these tables.
I told Darren that I wanted to do that
with one of my Porsche spider rims, but
then we'll sell the car with three
wheels.
It's a very cool place. They tried to
make the benches look like car benches,
car seats.
They kind of did.
No.
Looks like car seats.
>> It smells like it. Smells like orange
juice. No, orange pop.
>> Is it literally just orange pop?
>> No, it's grapefruit something.
You would like it.
I don't even know if there's alcohol in
it, but it's tasty.
>> I just somehow imagine there's not.
There may be.
Ooh.
>> Ooh, and acid.
Oh, this is the white barbecue sauce.
>> Oh my gosh, it's the first time I have
seen ketchup.
This is
>> Human is right.
>> smoked ahumado oh, ahumado Kansas City
ahumado is smoked.
Pretty meat and acid white barbecue
sauce. Texas
North Carolina
>> God bless us.
Thank you. What direction?
>> They always start you with this crunchy
little baguette
and a pat of butter. Darren was smart
and ripped open his baguette.
>> [laughter]
>> I have not.
>> Yesterday was
uh like
Was there an Italian like
>> Yeah.
>> a loaf of bread.
>> Uh gracias.
Look at that, a mason jar
of beer.
I can't tell you what's in this soup
because frankly I forget.
>> Dark beer?
>> Oh yeah, dark beer, potato, cheddar.
And uh cornbread
>> and crouton.
>> Yeah.
>> Darren loves that soup.
>> Mhm.
>> I thought you would. It looked really
good on the menu.
>> I think it's the onions that are sweet.
>> Yeah.
>> is really good, too.
>> Mac and cheese.
French fries.
And onion rings.
There's like two onion rings in there.
We ordered fried pickles, but they
didn't have any.
This is the fancy brisket
with some kind of mayo.
>> This is
uh coleslaw.
>> We came back to the room.
>> It was incredibly good.
>> It was.
>> Yeah, yeah.
Brisket was very flavorful and very
tender.
>> It was actually amazing.
>> And their french fries were optimal.
>> Optimal fries, yes.
So, we changed. This is another one of
those situations. Why do I not feel
comfortable wearing this?
This dress. Totally acceptable here. I
love this dress.
>> I don't know if a lot of people should
wear this dress more often at home.
>> Take a vote. Is this a be brave enough
to wear at home shenanigan because I
don't know. I don't feel that way. I
would like to feel that way.
>> did, people would be like, "I love your
dress."
>> That's always how it is. I always show
Darren like things I really love, but I
don't want to do it, and then finally I
get up the bravery and everywhere we go
somebody is like, "I love that purse."
or "I love whatever."
>> I love your dress or your shirt or
whatever.
>> Darren got me a Pocahontas purse as a
gift that I had fallen in love with in a
store. I love Disney if you don't know.
If you know, you know.
Um
>> Loungefly is great.
>> Very important. If you know, you know
about that. And if you don't, well, it's
a Disney thing, but it's a purse company
who brand who makes incredible purses.
They're such good quality and they're
all Disney and I don't know if it's only
Disney,
but they specialize anyway in Disney
purses and this Pocahontas one, oh my
gosh, I loved it and I was so scared to
wear it, but every time I do someone's
like, "Oh my gosh, I love that purse."
>> Mhm.
>> You just got it like life is too short,
but at least I can come to places where
I do feel comfortable wearing this
dress.
>> But you can wear that dress anywhere.
>> Well,
>> wear it to the grocery store.
>> I actually tell my clients that as
they're becoming the identity of the
person they truly want to be, I've had a
couple that say, "Oh, I you know, I'd
wear this, but so I will get them to
purchase something for their home and
maybe not purchase, but find something.
I don't care if it's from the dollar
store or whatever, but find something
for their home
as in decor that matches the person that
they want to be and make it small,
intentional. So, you're not like
redecorating your house, you're just
you know, putting something that shows
who you want to be. And then with
clothing, I will say to
cut and paste in a book like almost like
a vision board. Like I would recommend a
10 by 10 blank page art book.
And then you paste in things that you
can print off from Pinterest or whatever
cuz you're bringing it into the
physical, right? And then
go buy one thing like a belt or
something and wear it to the grocery
store.
So, you don't have to
>> Or a
prom dress.
>> [laughter]
>> Anyway, I'm getting there.
>> that we'll like do laughs in the Mexican
aisle.
>> [laughter]
>> If you feel like it, I would.
>> Okay, fine.
That's a good
That's a good compromise.
>> [laughter]
>> The Mexican aisle.
We need We need a the salsa. The
tortilla.
>> [laughter]
>> Get tortilla.
>> Anyway, if I remember the things I
wanted to film at dinner, but did not
film,
I will think of it, but
>> Now we got to
>> Off to the lobby bar cuz where else do
you go? All right, next time.
Tonight there is a silent party.
Don the headset and just
rock out and look like you're cookie to
everyone by standing.
But
you can hear the music, right? Isn't
that a life euphemism A euphemism is
that the word?
>> I don't know.
>> Dance like
>> Dance like nobody's listening?
>> Like everyone can hear the music?
>> nobody's watching.
>> That's [music] true. That's it.
>> Or listening, I guess.
>> Here, everyone's watching.
Everyone's watching and no one's
listening. That's the problem here with
the silent party.
This is a
>> Is this like a private thing?
>> It looks like tacos. I highly doubt.
>> Yeah, it just looks like
make your own tacos.
>> I am so full.
>> Yeah.
>> I want to show this amazing violinist,
though.
>> [music]
[music]
