Our Georgia Trip Part 2 Packed Full Of Fun

Hey everyone, Sha 1000 here. Uh, welcome back. This is the second part of our trip to Georgia and uh, it's hot. It just came inside, so I'm going to cool down. I have to set up a computer, Bruno. Anyway, uh, so we'll go ahead and get that. Um, it's just too hot to start a fire of any kind to make food. So, we're just going to make some uh I'm going to make some chicken sandwiches, a cream of chicken. So, I'll bring you along with me for that. But right now, I got a couple things I need to do right now. And I'll be back with you guys. Stick around. [music] Heat. [music] Heat. >> [music] [music] >> Okay, everyone. Um, we decided we're going to go with something quick and easy because it's still very hot out. We'll get the lasagna made, just not tonight. So, I'm going to start by opening. Oh, I usually make a giant can of this. That's why I had her get two big cans of these. But, uh, okay. She got two things of cream of mushroom. should be what I use is one can of cream of chicken, one can of cream of mushroom. Unless her mom's not eating, then or I mean unless her mom's eating, then I can't add the mushrooms. But let's go ahead and I'm going to open up three of these and then I'll get them. I'm going to take them over here and string them out. Okay, guys. So, let's go ahead and get I guess we're only going to have to open one of these. May need one and a half, but we'll see. Excuse me. I had a knife up here. There it is. All right. Now, trash can over there. Sorry. Let's go ahead and put Yeah, we're going to put three of these all three of these in. I got four, but I think three will be enough cuz that's the biggest pain we've got out here in the camper. So, yeah, that'll put us about right. I'm just going to Jesus. Wind hasn't blown all day. Now, let me go get my wind guard. And I forgot a spoon to stir that with. I'll turn it down a little bit. Um, let me go get a spoon. Okay. Wow, look how flimsy they make anymore. Look at that. What are you supposed to do with that? It's coming from all directions. So, I'm trying to smash some of that up. We're going to be putting these on bread. This is precooked. I'm just trying to get them smashed up. You can eat this stuff right out of the can. Put on crackers and mayonnaise or whatnot. Um, yeah, it's going to take that whole can. Let me let me see if I can find a better spoon or something. Okay, it's hot. Turn it down lower. Really low. Then we'll crunch up some of these crackers. I usually use a whole tube, but I'm not going to need to with this one. Probably a half a tube of crackers. Jeez. All right. Just mixed in. You can use any crackers you want. You can use reds. You can use buttercrackers. The clubhouse townhouse club crackers or whatever they are. I got Jesus. Don't you hate when mosquitoes get right up in your face and your eye and just buzz around your eyes? But damn it, we are in Georgia. Let me get these crunched up and I'll bring you back when I put these in there. Okay, guys. That's pretty much hot. Clear through. I'm going to h add about half of these. I just crunch and it's starting to rain. What the hell? All right. And you get it. I'm going to mix it up. I may add the rest of these. Let me see how thick it gets. But and I'll bring you back and put them on a bun for monkey. And well, I'll have some, too. Yeah. You know what? I think I am just going to add the rest of these in there. Stupid wind, man. As you can see, the wind guard is gone because, well, the slightest breeze knocks it over. So, how can you keep wind off of something if it can't even stand up to the wind itself? All right, let me get this mixed up. Yeah, it's looking pretty good. If it gets, that's why I always have extra. If it get too thick, you could add some more of this. You can add [clears throat] a little bit of water, which I have here if I need it. And it was still too thin. Just add some more crackers. And here comes the rain. All right, guys. Trash bag here. Treasure bay right there. I can set that there. All right, I'm going to keep mixing this. I'll bring you back in just a second as soon as I go get some buns. Okay, guys. I got to hurry up. The flies came from the time I went into the camper and grab a plate and two two buns. You can top this with onions. And I just usually put salt and pepper on mine, but these are monkeys. So, I'm going to go get monkey hers. And then I'm going to get mine and I'll be back with you as soon as I eat as always. Maybe it'll go down some. Okay, guys. There's a monkey. You have the south and then you have the north part and then you have blue that connects into the red. >> But Okay. But that's not telling we don't know. We're not there. >> Yeah. I can't get lost anyway. I've tried. >> No. No. >> Well, we tested that and it works. So, but it has I haven't heard it zap and but there it's full of bugs, dead bugs. But I haven't heard it zap since the first night. This is god awful. What's going on? Probably need new lens. I don't know. All right, guys. I'll be back with you. Jeez, this thing does not want to focus. There we go. Okay, guys. So, it's night time. And it is 9:54. Monkey went up, took her shower, which I saw little monkey feet prints going up through there. >> Did you? >> Yeah. So, she come back. I go up and get my shower ready. And you know, there's stalls on the left. There's no urinal, just commodes in ours. >> Really? >> Yeah. Down the left hand side, there are four of them. And then the last one on the left is a shower. And then the last one straight ahead is a shower. And that's the one I use. Clear. It's at the end. Right. So I hear somebody come in. >> Oh yeah. >> Walking back, you know, just regular walking, >> right? >> And I hear the door open to the shower, you know, next to mine. >> Uhhuh. >> You know what I mean? So, and I hear close. You know how them doors slam. Hear close. I'm just showering, you know, away. And I never heard a shower come on. H that's strange. So I was if I was filming, I would have done that. Hello. Just kidding. Don't you hate that? But anyway, so I'm like, somebody in there. I wonder if they're okay. you know. So, I'm showering up and just stand there letting water run on me for a couple minutes and finally I get out. Don't hear anything. Don't hear any movement. Don't hear nothing. So, get my shorts on, you know, put my clone deodorant and all that stuff on and put towel around my neck and I come out of the uh I come out of my shower and I kind of looked under that stall door. I didn't see anybody in there. So, I just opened it up. Not a soul in that shower. >> No. >> Maybe a soul, but not a person there. >> Huh. >> And I'm telling you, I heard them walk in, you know. >> Uh-huh. >> And I heard them open that door because it's right there. They're right kind of together. I mean, you know. >> Yeah. >> You can't mistake it for somebody on the other side in the women's. I mean, this was right here. They opened the door and it slammed shut. And that's the last I heard. And there was nobody in there. >> H >> true story. >> H >> we are right by the Okie Finoi swamp. >> Mhm. >> But that is strange. >> Mhm. >> Very weird. So just want to tell you guys that. All right. I'll be back with you guys. If I forget to tell you good night, I'll see you in the morning. Good morning, everyone. It's 74 degrees. Beautiful morning. It's 7:21 a.m. Monkeyy's still asleep. I had to let Bruno, so uh I was like, "Wow, what a morning." So, I thought I'd get down here the lake, try my luck at a little fishing before monkey gets up. She was stirring around a minute and I go back to sleep. It's only a dream and then this happens. There we go. I just got a night crawler on. Get casted out here and see what we can do. Hopefully we don't catch a turtle. This lake's not very deep. So yeah, she did her first time lapse last night. Turned out pretty good. Let's see what can you see here. I don't even know if you can see this pole or not, but I may go get me a chair and my pop. sit down here for a few minutes. This might be one of them lakes where you just got to throw some lures. Uh, you know, kind of like you're bass fishing or whatever. I think he said there's some trout in here, but I like to just cast out and sit down and relax. You know what I mean? Speaking of which, let me unlock this in case I get a bite. I'm going to run up here and grab my chair and my pop and I'll be right back. Okay, guys. So, I put another rod out there with a bobber and a worm. And uh the littlest weight I had in the bobber sunk, so I stuck another bobber on it. So, I got two bobbers on it. Uh this lake is not very deep. That woman that sunk the boat, she said she's never caught anything out of here. So, I don't know. Maybe I don't know if Monkey wants to. She just went up to the bath house. I don't know if she wants to see if we can find another place to fish that's not too far or what. I'll ask her to see what she wants to do. But I've been here about 20 minutes. Haven't even had a bite. So, I'm not really used to that. Usually in 20 minutes I've already caught a fish or one of us has, you know. So yeah, I didn't put my mic on because I was trying to sneak out. [laughter] So she didn't even know I let Bruno out. But I got the one with the bobber out about 10 yards. I got this one out about 30, maybe a little deeper, you know. I don't know. Uh I haven't seen I seen one little fish jump tiny this morning out here, but other than that, I have not seen any sizable fish jump at all. So, I don't know if this is man-made, if this is a man-made lake or what. Um, but I mean they need to stock it or something cuz I did see three turtles out here not far from me. I've seen their their head come up out of the water and in fact I see another one over there right now. There's a lot of turtles and uh you know turtles eat the fish eggs and uh the small fish and stuff and you get too many turtles, you're not going to have a good fishing lake. That that park ranger we was talking to the other day, you know, he was talking about there was all kinds of fish in here. He was naming off a bunch of them, you know, like bluegills and stuff supposed to be hinting and but there was one fish he said wasn't hinting, but he said there was a bunch of other ones he named them off. I can't remember what they were that were supposed to be hitting in this lake, but in fact, I haven't seen any boers fishing. I've just seen Boers boating. I haven't seen any fishermen, you know, and small boat, you know, johnboats or whatever, fishing boats going around the shores or nothing. So, I don't know. Uh, so maybe I don't know. We'll see when she gets back if she just wants to I'll see if I can find us like another a creek or somewhere we can go fish and maybe catch something. But if it stays nice like this, if it don't get too hot, then uh we'll uh we'll make the lasagna today. Okay, so the sun's rising right behind you guys. This morning I went to the bath house about oh 5:30 5:45 about 5:40 which is before daybreak but I could still see the moon. It was over there about where the sun is. How's that possible? Huh? All right, guys. like get anything on here. I'll uh I'll bring you back. Bobber's not moving. Line's not moving. I see little trails of tiny fish in here swimming around. I don't want tiny fish. I want something I can eat. Monkey wants me to get another largemouth bass. She loves them bass. Ever since that that camping trip that we were on on the river, I cooked her up some bass. I caught two uh uh I think one was 11 inch and one was 12 in bass. I cooked them up four. She loved them. All right, guys. I'll be back with you. Okay, guys. I think uh Monkeyy's going to want some coffee. So, I'm going to go up there with her. I'm just going to leave these in the water, but I'm going to unlock them and uh you know, hit the release button. see if she needs any help. I doubt it, but uh yeah, we'll go up and help her make coffee. Watch you make coffee. >> Watch me make coffee. >> Yeah. I don't know what the appeal is. Uh, >> all you do, >> we went to Walmart yesterday and she was looking for just one of those little teapotss, you know, didn't have any. >> No. >> So, she went to the camping section. All they had was percolators. She just wanted a little teapot, you know, to uh just to uh heat a little bit of water, cup or two of water for her coffee. They didn't even I mean chef get one online or I'll get her one online or something. Uh but yeah. Yeah. Well, that's you know again guys that's pretty much it. Soon as that heats up. She's got the little she's got her I don't know creamer or whatever over here. And then she's got her just got these things. She likes these. Okay guys, here we go. The famous or infamous coffee making routine while camping. >> So satisfying. >> Shut up. She said it's so satisfying. You got your mic on. >> Well, I don't know if it's turned on. All right, [laughter] guys. Okay, guys. I do not see my bobber. Oh, it's clear over here on the shore. I think there's something on it. It's moving around. There's nothing on it, but something took it over there. We'll try it again. Okay, guys. So, it's starting to get very hot out. Um, but I'm going to start a fire because inside the fire pit, it's really wet down in the bottom. It's not like standing water, but it's really damp. So, we got some wood and I'm going to build a nice bed of coals because I want to use some charcoal. I'm cooking the lasagna today. That's That's all there is to it. We got some trinkets, you know, some things, little koozies, and she got a magnet stuff. So, I asked about Bigfoot and she just kind of smiled. The woman didn't answer, did she? >> No. >> Younger girl. She just kind of smiled. I said, "Come on, you come on. Open up. Tell me." And she didn't really say anything. She just kept smiling and finally I busted her because I got monkey something over there. I don't know why she don't want to come over here but >> cuz I'm a fear. >> Check it out. So I seen these over there. I said, "Uh-huh." She's holding back. I said, "Look, Monk." She said, "Well, well, we also got these. They have playing cards, Bigfoot playing cards." >> Mhm. >> I said, "Now, come on, talk to me." You know? >> Mhm. >> And Monkey said, "Well, has he been seen or not?" And she said, "Well, over in the swamp area, the Okie Finoi swamp, cuz we're not far from there at all." >> And she said, "No, I mean around this this area right here." And a smile went off her face and she just straight up did not answer it. >> Nope. Never said a word. >> I said, "Uh-huh." Yeah, she's holding back. So, but yeah, she wanted to I wanted to show you that ring, but she said, "I want to do mine first." It doesn't really matter because who films first. It's who gets it uploaded first. I don't I don't race cuz you know, but I got mine up first. >> Hey, where you going? >> You fell over. Right here." >> Mhm. >> And a smile went off her face and she just did not answer. >> So, I would say yes. I mean, why would you know, cuz there's a story I'll get to, but you heard part of it. >> Mhm. >> on the podcast. >> Mhm. >> But why would they be, you know, >> keeping it hush hushed? >> But why would But they're selling Bigfoot items, >> right? Right. Yeah. >> Anyway, thought that was strange. So, what else you get there, Monk? >> I got a turtle cuz they're known for their their turtles here. And >> yeah, trust me. Oh, I caught one today, by the way. A little >> another one >> about this big round. It was a snapping turtle, but >> I asked her also, you know, how's the fishing in here? And she says, "Well, they have caught fish. There is fish in there, but it's they say it's so hot that >> nothing's biting. >> It's not biting." But it's fun trying anyways. And um I was going to try to get us to go somewhere else. And where we could go and try is Jame James Town, I believe it is. >> Yeah, I see that. >> It's 30 minutes away. >> Yeah. I was like, uh, >> and then he wanted to cook. Um, so we'll just stay here today. Maybe we could do that tomorrow. >> I don't know. We'll see. I wanted to go over there today, too, but they won't let Bruno go eat. >> They won't even let service dogs in there. >> Yeah, that's a lawsuit waiting to happen. >> Yeah, because there's a lot to do over there. We could have went. >> But guess what? They say, "Well, there's too many alligators, but they let small kids in there." >> Yeah. that run around. >> Yeah. Well, yeah. >> I ain't worried about that, but don't bring a dog here cuz there's too many gators. But you can bring your kids and just let them roam. >> Yeah. >> Doesn't make sense. All right, guys. I'll be back with you. Okay, guys. So, we got this from Fire Guys. I can't see the screen cuz I'm on this side of you, but supposedly just This is like a wax. It's like a candle inside there. And there's it's kind of wax infused. So you light it, you put it down, and you put your wood on top of it. Watch your fire grow is what the thing the box said at the store. Okay. Light both ends. Now we're going to set that down. I got some wood prepped here. I just cut up with my machete because I forgot my hatchet. Got a nice hatchet Brian and Mara sent to me. Very nice one. But it's in our other camping stuff. The people out on the kayak. It's hot and I'm building a fire, but I want to get that dried up down there. Wow. Yeah, that's pretty [snorts] easy. And they still sell strike anywhere matches in there. Best ones I ever used was Ohio blue tips. Man, you strike them on a nipple if you needed to. All right, I'll let you watch that for a minute. I'm going to wash some dishes and then you can have a touch. Well, that thing worked pretty good. Next time we go up there, I might grab a couple couple more. Keep one in the camper. One or two in the camper, one in my backpack, and one at home. Yeah, it worked really well. >> Shave caught something. Let's see what it is. >> [snorts] >> Oh, it's our lovely friend. We were sitting up there talking and I kept seeing his pole go. I said, "I think there's something on your pole." So, he said, "Well, go down there and check it." So, I bring it part way and then he says, "Oh, well, just just um just put it back in on the thing." And I said, "Well, it's really close to the shore." Well, then outcast it and it got stuck over here on these stuff. Well, something had to bring it over this way. So, yeah, we got some He's got something on his hook here. I need to get rid of this for him. So he can bring it out. And guess what? We got another turtle. He's a baby turtle. Yeah, there's another turtle. Like he said, this whole lake is probably just full of turtle and no fish. He says they need to take some of these turtles out and relocate them and put um stock this up with f of fish because Yeah, we see you. How long have you been sitting there with a thing in your mouth? >> Go get my pliers. >> Okay, >> watch it. Oh, thank you. >> Even the weight got to watch this. See, he's bird shell. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. See? >> Uh-huh. So, he will bite you even more. >> Yeah. >> So, he's harder than the soft shell. >> Yeah. Oh, see that? >> Mhm. >> Yeah. He's a snapper. As we were sitting and talking, >> I thought it was bopping. >> I told her, she brought me this so I could get that branch out of the water. I said, "Yeah, there's something on here." She said, "Something on here? Hold on. Wait a minute. Let me go get the camera." And she took off running up to get the camera. [laughter] >> Yeah. I was hoping he'd get a fish, but no luck. We put him back anyways. But it's fun fun to have fish, not turtles. >> Yeah. He got my hook. >> Did he? Yeah. >> He got your hook. All right, guys. We'll bring you back if something crazy happens. >> Okay, guys. Guys, I'm going to set the tripod up, get ready to make the sauce. I got to do it a certain way because our big pan, our big pot is at the house. So, I'm going to have to do it in the Dutch oven and then put put it back in the containers where the uh the contain that that the uh spaghetti sauce came out of. All right. The smoke is in my face. First time I've used this. I don't know how to use it. Not very high. >> I ain't even going to use that stupid thing. Probably two stitches, but I bleed a lot cuz I I'm on some heavy blood thinners for a heart. So, but anyway, uh, monkey, I was like, man, I could have sworn we left some, uh, seasoning in there. Couldn't find any seasoning and no chicken bullion cubes or anything. I'm like, could have sworn I left. We must have took it back in the house last time that that we cooked from the camper and uh which I made some chicken and barbecue chicken. And she was like, "Oh, it's all right." I'm like, "Man, that's going to be bland. That's going to suck." She goes, "Well, I can just run into town, run into Walmart. It'll only take me a few minutes." And I'm like, "No, it's fine. You sure? Cuz I can just do that." And then she goes, "Doll the the Dollar General's even closer. They got some seasonings and I believe they got bullion cubes." I'm like, "No, it's okay." She goes, "But I know how you love your seasoning." I said, "Yeah, I know how you love my seasoning." I said, "Just come out and say it that you you would rather have it with seasoning." She still wouldn't quite say it, but she's afraid she'll hurt my feelings. I'm like, "No, I agree." I said, "Just come out and say, you know, I think it'd be better. I'm just going to run in and get some seasoning. So, uh I took the onions off and I may have to put some more charcoal on uh by the time she gets back. She'll be back about 20 30 minutes. So, it'll be much better with it cuz I'm like all we have is the is the meat sauce, which is just spaghetti sauce. It's PGO meat sauce. Uh mushrooms, hamburger, and the onions. And I'm like, man, we got to have Well, you know, I mean, we're going to put cheese on it. like, man, we got to have something else. Oh, I need to message her, guys, cuz I'm going to put some um sour cream in it, too. So, hang on, guys. Yeah, you guys see what it's doing out there. Freaking awesome. Okay, guys, since I forgot the garlic, monkey found me some of this minced garlic. So, we're going to throw this in there now. Not all of it, of course. And she got some good seasoning. I'll show you here in a little bit. Awesome. [clears throat] I'll let bring that up to temperature. Stir it around. Then, let me see. Then we'll put the hamburger in. Okay, guys. I put four bullion cubes in there. Now, we're going to put the meat in. and get it kind of chopped up. Just browned a little bit. It doesn't have to be all the way done cuz it'll cook once we put the sauce in, which will be here shortly. And if you guys want a good sauce for spaghetti or to put on like elbow macaroni, make it just like this. Only instead of making lasagna with it, you know, put this in spaghetti or whatever. Um, also you can do this and make sloppy joe's, I guess, sandwich if you're really into it. But I'm not. But I like sloppy joe. You make this into a sloppy joe. Monkeyy's always trying to remember what was that he said that one time. I want to try it cuz I got so many, you know, recipes. All right, let me put the lid on that just for a minute and I'll come back out. I'll stir it again. I got to get you guys out of the sun and I'll stir it up again. Remember guys, you don't even actually have to brown this, it'll cook. I mean, especially once you bake it. This hamburger is going to cook. I just do it to get the uh flavor of the onions and garlic into it. But you don't have to. People, oh, you have to brown it for No, you don't. It will cook through. You're not making a hamburger with it. All right. Now, let's get get our mushrooms here. We'll let them simmer just for a minute and then we'll put the sauce in. Then we'll let the sauce simmer for a minute. Then we'll take this out and we'll start the lasagna process. The lasagna making process. But it's your creation. Do with it what you want. Any leftover sauce we don't need, I'll put back in here and freeze it cuz I'm sure I'm not going to need that much sauce. But always make extra and then we have it at a later date. So monkey got some Lowry season salt and some of this original Creole seasoning. So I like I like cool that'll work. Don't be stingy with it. A little bit more. All right. And we got the chicken boyon cubes in there. Oh, no. This is H. It's got a thing on it. Don't need a lot of this because pretty pot salt. All right. And once this gets heated through, see, I didn't get all of it, but I'm going to heat it up with the with the lid off, and that'll reduce it down. So, yeah. All right, guys. But, uh, if I get us some kayaks, I'll be sure to get whatever brand that is, cuz she's really comfortable with it. And it does have pull pole holders in the back. Of course, we wouldn't do any fishing out of them. I have before. I don't like it because I like a lot of a lot of room, you know, and I like to stand up and you don't do that in a kayak. So, but yeah, I think she'll Sorry, I don't I didn't put my mics on cuz, you know, in case I had to get in the water, but I figured she'd be all right. Yeah. Very good, monkey. Good job. I think we should She's worried about falling in and gators getting her, but nah, it's very rare, very rare that you fall in on a kayak and a gator get you, you know? I mean, that's what worries her the most. I think she's mostly concerned about She had me check for gators, make sure there's no gators in here. They mostly come out at night anyway, but so we wouldn't be doing any we wouldn't be doing any kayaking at night. So, but yeah, I think she'd be all right. Probably get us a couple cheap ones and just uh like him, he he has a life vest. Bruno has a life vest. So, like until she got used to it, I could take Bruno with me. You know, I've had dogs on kayaks before. No biggie. But yeah, I think she'd be all right. She'll come back. She'll say, "I want one." I guarantee you she'll say, "I want one." You think with being dyslexic, it it would work in your favor to steer that cuz you know, use your right side paddle for to go left. But she says it confuses her. you. Uh there were several feature films and documentaries >> in the Oki Finoi swamp which like I said we're right at the be like at the beginning of it. We're in southeast Georgia and we're just just a couple miles from the beginning of the swamp. Uh in 1941, Swamp Water directed by Jean Renure and starring Dana Andrews and Walter Brennan. [snorts] Uh, Lure of the Wilderness of the Wilderness 1952 is a Technicolor remake of Swamp Water directed by uh, Jean Neglesco. Sorry, I butchered that. Starring Jean Peters and Jeffrey Hunter. Uh, Swamp Girl in 1971. Uh, let's see. I'm not getting any actors or anything. Uh oh, featuring uh Simone Griffith in her film debut with swamp footage credited to the Oki Finoi Swamp Park which is only about a mile from here and the Oki Finoi Wildlife Refuge. >> The Tender Warrior 1971 directed by Stuart Raffel and starring Dan Hagerty. Hm. >> An adventure film centered on a boy protecting local swamp wildlife. >> I didn't know that. >> And a movie called Oki Finoi 1959. A crime and melodrama film directed by was that Ro egg? H A I G involving smugglers navigating the refuge. So that's pretty interesting. And you can find that just by googling what movies were filmed in the Oki Finoi Swamp. So uh there's some Bigfoot stories from out here. Um we may or may not get into them tonight. We'll see. But if not, maybe I can get into them tomorrow. We're going to, like I said, we're going to take our time tearing down tomorrow. And it's really darker than what it shows in this camera, but there's a beautiful view. Nice, huh? So, um, like I said, we're just going to take our time tearing down. That awning is not falling down. I just because of so much rain and the storms and stuff. So, I just did that so the water would run off. But yeah, um a lot of interesting stuff as far as uh Bigfoot's concerned. But there are um Bigfoot encounters here and I told you about the the girl >> lightning over there. the girl up there at the at the camp store, you know, just absolutely did not want to discuss anything. I mean, she wasn't even really joking about it. First, she was kind of smiling, but >> she said, "Well, I think mostly >> sightings have been over at the swamp over there." And Monkey said, "Yeah, but what about in this area right here?" And she just stopped smiling and didn't answer. just absolutely did not answer that question. But anyway, so it's it's weird for state park. So we've been here since Friday. Today's Tuesday, Tuesday evening. >> We have not seen >> one lady that >> one squirrel. Not one squirrel. Let me remind you, we're in a state park campground. >> Not one squirrel. We saw birds. >> Not one squirrel. We we can't catch any fish in in the lake. >> Not one possum, >> not one raccoon, not one deer. However, just a little bit ago on the way to the bathous to get our showers, we saw one rabbit over there. >> You are a host. >> Other than that, >> not one animal, not one animal have we seen other than a bird. Doesn't mean And a turtle, you know. I mean, we caught some turtles. >> Well, there's nothing here. No wildlife, no deer, no raccoon, no possums, no squirrels. Haven't heard any owls. But anyway, yeah, that's it's a strange strange thing. Uh there is a black cat running around here. However, it keeps wanting to come over here. But >> but I mean as far as wildlife, >> usually in a state park, >> especially state park campgrounds, you know, that's where squirrels and >> coons and possums like to hang out because, you know, there's always food scraps. There's always someone willing to give them a hand out, you know. But yeah, that looks pretty wild over there. Check that sky out. Hopefully this camera will do it, y'all. Yeah, check it out. Look at the sky, mama. a dog in there. But they don't have leashes. It's so purple. Morning everyone. It's uh 6:47 right now. It's Wednesday and we have to leave. So [snorts] there's Bruno, but we got all day to do it. So that's what we're going to do. We're just going to kind of just pack a little bit here and there. And uh we may take a little drive. Uh I think there's something monkey wanted to do, but we'll see. I think we're going to leave around 4 or 5:00, so [snorts] that'll just put us home around just about dark time. So yeah, she went to the bath house. Bren was out here kicking it with me. That dog I seen last night over here. But let me see what time. Let's see. It is. It's only 2:30. I wanted to leave about 5, but she was worried about the storm and I was like, you know, well, actually, you don't have to leave till tomorrow, but she got to pick her mom up in the morning. So, [snorts] but I thought, man, we still got the rest, you know. But so, uh, but anyway, at dog racing last night over here, it came back. I was standing here playing with my bug zapper. I had Bruno out here. It's about 3:00 in the morning, and [panting] Bruno was over here, and out of the corner of my eye, I seen him start walking this way. And so I turned on my big flashlight cuz I didn't want him going too far down in there. He walked up here. Soon as I turned flashlight on, there was that little dog. Him and that little dog. They had their tails wagging. They were saying hello. They was nose tonose. So I said, "Brun, come on over here." Cuz you know, I didn't know anything about the dog, but I knew it must be friendly, but still I didn't know. So I said, "Brun, come on over here." And the dog went around that way. And Bruno went under the camper and he wasn't running after it or nothing. He was just I said, "Come on, Bruno." He came back around. [clears throat] So, I put him in the camper. Then we uh [snorts] uh we we heard it that later out here and and he was standing right here when I opened the door. And I said, uh I said, "Man, that dog, he's scared. He's lost. He He does have a collar. I didn't see the collar at first. I told Monkey, I said, "Excuse me." I said, "He does have a collar, so he must be lost." So, I put some food and water out for him and we heard him come back and I looked out and he was drinking water and he, you know, he'd walk away. He was real skittish, but he wouldn't take off running. And I didn't try to shoe him away, of course, cuz I wanted to make sure he got food and water. went inside and we heard him again and I come out and he he had drank half the water and I had it on a had his food on a paper plate that he actually drugged the paper plate over here and when I came out he was eating his food right here off the paper plate. So, she mentioned it to the camp host this morning and she said about a month ago, somebody was staying in one of the cabins and they only had the dog for about 2 weeks and the dog took off and they couldn't catch it and then they couldn't find it and they was real real upset about it. And they're from Florida. They're about 3 hours away and we're 3 and a half hours away. If I had known, you know, you should let people know if I known I could have caught that dog and, you know, we could take it to the person or, you know, at least take it to our house. You know, they're 3 hours away. We're 3 and 1 half hours away. At least, you know, hey, you know, we have your dog coming. You can come and get him. But she said that they have never called. But then again, you know, they never called them either. They just put some food out and noticed the food was gone and just figured it was him eating it. So, but Monkey went to go check because she's worried about him now and she don't want to leave him. I mean, at least, you know, if we could catch him, we could at least, you know, take him, give find him a good home. I mean, we can't keep him. But I I I don't want to I mean, there's gators in here, you know. fat dog gets too hot. Dogs are known to jump in water and get cooled off. I mean, he could get eaten by a gator, but he's been out here on his own for a month and no one has has seen him. And but so they know now that he has been spotted. He did come up here. So, but anyway, so I'm not going to I'm not going to end the video until I get home in case, you know, in case we run into something or see something interesting. Um, we're just going to take our time. May stop and get something to eat once we get closer to home. We'll see. But we're ready to go. Done all my checks. Lights are working now. Uh, I didn't do anything to them. Uh, this right turn signal and brake light wouldn't work last time I had it out, but when I got it home, it was working and it's been working ever since. So, I don't know. Might have just been dirty plug up here. You know, the plug was dirty or something. I don't know. But, it didn't do it. It It wasn't working on either vehicle. So, it had to be on the trailer. I know it's not the light cuz, you know, I didn't change it. So, I didn't change the bulb and it's working now. So, something in the wiring. Uh that blue wire there is for brakes, which we don't have brakes on. It's wired for brakes, but it doesn't have brakes on it. But um so yeah. Uh I think she went looking for him. Oh, and real quick, we took Bruno earlier. So let's go find this dog. Come on, go find the dog. He got on the trail of that dog and he followed it that trail all the way up there and then he wanted to hang a left. So, we hung a left and I seen a one of those uh aluminum like cake pans sitting there where they had been feeding that dog. And then we started walking to it and then he pulled monkey to the left and right at the edge of the wood line there's like a little hole in a bunch of shrubs. Of course, we couldn't get in it. Bruno probably could have, but and he stopped right there and he pointed. So, he was like, "That dog's in there, which be in these woods." So, and then he didn't want to go any further or anything. So, he he tracked us right to where that dog's hanging out. So, I can see she didn't find him. So, his name is Whan. So, uh yeah. All right. I'll get back with you guys. Don't see many of them places. I guess that's why it's for sale. Sales in repair does say it's for sale. Another little building over there. Okay. So, there's a commercial style stainless steel sink in there. Let's go around back here. It's raining. headache racks or roll bars for a pickup truck. Fast time video rental. That's not that old. It's like a twotory bar many years ago. Monkey and I, if I can remember to look for it about where it's at, I'll uh stop in and do a revisit of that. But I bet you this used to be like, you know, just like a hamburger shop or something, you know, like these windows, you know, maybe something like a ice cream shop or Dairy Queen or something.
