Our First Promo LEAKED!

Hey guys, it's Nate aka the Foot Accountant. Welcome back to the channel. It's been kind of nice to start FC 27 without having to worry about promo cards. Sure, we've got the Ones to Watches and Objectives and SBCs and the Hall of Foot cards that we can get through the Gallery Token Store, but the main focus is the gold cards. It is simple and it is nice. However, the promos do begin this Friday on FC 27 as we get our first promo of the year and that is Destined for Glory. And in usual Ultimate Team fashion, it is leaked. We have the whole entire team leaked along with some SBC and objective cards that are going to be coming. Now, while this is exciting on one hand and these new Destined for Glory cards are also live, similar to the Ones to Watches, I don't think we're going to like how these cards upgrade in this Destined for Glory promo. We're going to take a look at all of the leaks today and how you might be able to invest for this promo. Plus, we have price range updates that are moving player prices like crazy up and down and maybe, just maybe, we're going to get another upgrade pack SBC today on Tuesday. Let's discuss, guys. Now, let's start things off by looking back over yesterday's content on Monday, which probably set the tone for how Monday content's going to look each and every week on this game. The focus was one SBC that is an upgrade pack that'll probably happen every single Monday and there was no other content in Evolutions, in objectives, in the gallery, or across the rest of the game. It was pretty quiet. That's also pretty normal for Mondays. But, the upgrade pack SBC that we did have is a 79 plus times two that is repeatable three times every day and it takes 10 gold players to complete it. Now, I did it three times just to test it out. I did not have good luck. And guys, of course, with the famous gold re-roll SBC that is out right now, I would not recommend doing this 79 by 2 and I would instead keep doing that gold re-roll. I was actually going to open three of those on the video today because I'm finding these so fun to do. They are very cheap. Yes, they do take a little bit of effort because you still have to have players in your club and we are packing a 90 pace Becho there from the league D1 Arkema, which is actually very helpful because this is first owner cards from my gallery, which I need, but these re-rolls are just so easy to do and that's why I think I like them. I think that's why they're becoming very popular. I'm not going to say the pack pulls are insane because I've opened probably 10 to 15 of these since they have come out and my highest rated pack pull I think is an 84 rated. And sure, I'm packing 83s and 82s, which can go back into this, which is very nice, but along with the first owner cards I'm getting for the gallery, I wouldn't mind packing something decent for my team. You see people on Twitter posting threads of I did 178 by 2s and I got this crazy walkout. Wait, PSG. It is a PSG women's player. Who is that? 83 rated Olga Carmona. Again, I'll take it. That is good first owner gallery score. We take that right there, but also at the same time, maybe I'm hoping for a little bit too much with packing higher rated cards. Maybe I need to do more of those SBCs, but that is like the best SBC in the game right now because it is completable so easy with the different ways that you can do it. I think this is just such a big dub, the whole new SBC system. The player SBCs have been priced amazingly with this new system. The upgrade packs here are great as well. EA did tweet out a change yesterday about the bronze and silver re-roll. They said they changed the max overall requirements for the SBC to be max 74 cuz it was max 79. I guess it makes sense because it's a bronze and silver re-roll, which gives you a gold player pack and before it was allowing you to put gold players in it, but why would you put gold players in that? Cuz really you want to put them into the gold re-roll anyway. I'm not sure, but that was one thing they tweeted out yesterday. I haven't done any of those. I'd rather put in my bronzes and silvers into a gold re-roll that gives me two 78+ packs instead of getting one 75+ player pack there. So, keep trying those out if you get a little bit extra fodder from objective packs or something like that. Those are pretty good. Now, probably the biggest part of yesterday's content was what went down on the market. Not actual new content that EA released in the game because we had it about an hour and a half or so after the content dropped yesterday, price range updates. And this is the big story right now. The Peña of last year basically, of FC 26 Peña was the most popular card. This year, I guess you could call it instead, it is the Keegan Nazareth of FC 27. She seems to be again the Peña of last year and her card went from being extinct at 30,000 coins to now being extinct at 50k. The hype is real for a lot of those players that got price range updates yesterday, but not all of them actually went up in price. Keegan Nazareth, Vicky López, Marcus Rashford are the main names that have gone up. Rashford and Keegan Nazareth were extinct at 30,000 coins and Vicky López was extinct at 20k. She's now 34,000 coins. Rashford and Keegan Nazareth are both extinct at 50k, but this went down exactly like we thought it was going to. Now, I'm a little surprised to see how much Keegan Nazareth had gone up. But, this is just a testament to how hyped this card is and how many people want to buy her. But, right away when the price ranges got updated, cards went down low. The listings came in hot. I had a Vicky López that I had packed that I was waiting to sell. I sold her for about 37,000 coins immediately after the price range was updated to 50k. I was able to get out there for 36, 37,000 coins. And then, I ended up buying four more because she went down to 26,000 coins and I was like, "Hold on a second. She was extinct at 20K. This Kika Nazareth is the most hyped card in the game. People are going to buy Vicky López to link with Kika Nazareth. Vicky López is very hyped up as well." And boom, she has gone now up to 34,000 coins. The same thing happened with Rashford. He was on the market for a split, maybe like 30 minutes. I was going to say a split second, but it was longer than that. 30 minutes after his price range was updated, but then he got cleared off the market as well and is now extinct to 50,000 coins because people believe that he is worth more than that. So, that's the good side of things. If you had a Rashford from when he was 20K or even a Nazareth or a Vicky López when they were at their old price ranges and you held through it, GG's. Even if you sold right away after their ranges were updated, GG's as well. Even if you want to sell now with the prices going up as much as they have, GG's as well. Take the money if you don't want to risk it because now things get interesting with these cards because these are 83 and 84 and 82 rated cards and that means they still are going to get packed a good bit in the next couple of days here. Could EA update their price ranges again today? Probably that's unlikely. Maybe like tomorrow or 2 days from now I would expect to see an update on these ranges, but there's more and more people as we get into the first week of the game that are going to have coins to invest in something like this and that creates the potential for an over investing opportunity like we had with Konaté. Konaté was extinct at 10,000 coins. He got a price range update to 25K and instead of going above 10,000 coins, he is now down at 6.7, 6.8K because there's not enough demand for this Konaté as people thought there actually was going to be. There was so much supply for him. He was packed pretty commonly and even when he was 10K extinct, you could see a good number of them that would pop up on the market. He just actually isn't worth that 10K price point and with so many people investing in that card hoping for him to go about 10,000 coins, and then realizing he wasn't going to, you have a whole bunch of listings that are coming in, and now this card is even lower. Now, that looked like it was going to happen on Lookman. He was extinct at 10k, got his price range update, went up a little bit, came down, but these kind of recovering back up a little bit, so that is good to see for his card there. I think Konaté might be one of the only ones, I guess Putellas as well as a higher rated, more expensive card actually dropped lower than her extinct price. She was extinct at 1.1, and is now 1.03. But, most of the cards that got price range updates yesterday, like, you know, Adeyemi as well, they are at least at their price that they were before. Adeyemi's technically a little bit below right now. He's at 57,000 coins, but Mariona is 127k, Eric Garcia is 45,000 coins after his price range update, and then there's a couple of other cards as well that got PR updates that are in inflated above where they were extinct at. So, that was good if you had invested in those cards and you were able to sell, or if you still have those cards and you're watching the prices go up. But, the next time that we have price range updates, you just got to be careful, even more careful now than we were before, because there's more supply for those cards. Like I said, I would be thinking selling in the hype would be the smartest thing that you could do now with a Kika Nazareth or with a Vicky López. Now, I'm not selling those four Vicky López that I have yet. I'm going to wait and see how high she goes. As long as Nazareth stays extinct and the hype is with the women's attacker and midfielder players that seem to be used a lot by the pros in this game, I think those cards are going to continue to move upwards in price, and they will be good to hold. But, like I said, those are the cards that we need to be a little bit more careful with now when they do go extinct, because there's just more supply. There's going to be some casualties, like Konaté, the next time they update price ranges if we want to call it that. But, EA did forget something yesterday, guys. They didn't update the price ranges of some of the icons and heroes. My Yule is still stuck here to max price of 300,000 coins. I think there was like one or two icons that actually got price range updates and then none of the heroes did. Fàbregas, Quaresma are still extinct. I don't know what EA is waiting on with these cards. I hope they do update these price ranges very soon, hopefully today as well, but there's no sign of that happening ASAP. We'll just have to see when they do that. Now, speaking of the market and speaking of prices a little bit more, guys, what is taking over this market right now still are gallery cards. Cards that people are buying and selling for the gallery. I bought Jürgen Kohler and his holographic signed hero card for 350 or 360,000 coins, I think on Sunday night. He is 600k now. These cards just continue to go up because more and more people are getting coins from either opening packs or making investments and profiting and even getting rewards and playing the game. People are getting coins and they're going and buying these cards and then selling them immediately to get their galleries filled up with these heroes and get the high scores, but it's making these cards go up so much on the market is absolutely crazy. Even some of like the silver and the bronze and and those cards are continuing to move up in price. That is the main focus on the market right now. It's so weird that there are just as many people buying and selling cards to fill up a gallery and to get score in a gallery with this new feature in FC 24 than there are actually buying players for their team. Like it feels like some people are buying players for the team and then other people are just buying and selling cards to actually get the rating in their gallery. It's kind of a weird market that we're in right now with this new feature. Now, we did see the market actually do okay yesterday cuz it was a pretty quiet day of content. I mean, I watched a card here Pedri go from 230,000 coins all the way up to 280,000 coins and I don't think that's because of the gallery. I think that's genuinely because he is one of the best midfielders in the game that a lot of people want to use. And if you take a look at a lot of other player prices, there were some solid movements yesterday. I mean, you've got Vitinha who's down a little bit right now, but he was 142 and he ended up going all the way up to 165 at one point. There was the pro ladder that started yesterday. If you guys can see in the play tab, there's an FC Pro Open tab here, the open ladder, and that is for players that are in division five and rivals and above. It's kind of like the pro player scene, if you will, but that is kind of drawing a lot of attention to the most meta players on the game in terms of gold cards and even some icons and heroes. Not very many of those. I don't even know if they can use those in that pro ladder, but a lot of these like most meta players right now are seeing increases in price as people are seeing what the pros are using for this FC Pro Open Ladder, and that did make some meta cards move up yesterday. But overall, kind of as we expected, the market is in a solid spot. I wouldn't say the market is down a whole lot. There's a few cards here or there that are, but there's also a lot of good fluctuations and there are a lot of cards that are going up in the market and not just the holographic heroes for the gallery. It's actually cards that people do want to use. So, that is good. Um I'm thinking there's still going to be a little bit of panic and a little bit of sell-off before we get to Thursday and Friday because of the full release and because of what EA is probably going to do in releasing some store packs this weekend. By the way, I just finished the legendary challenge in the Ones We Watched event. Um I will be opening these packs today on stream, a 75 by 15 and a 75 by 10. I got to open the 75 15 while Team of the Week Lamine Yamal is still in packs. If I open that after Wednesday, that'd make no sense. Like, I'm not going to pack him, but you never know, right? So, I got to go ahead and at least give that a try. But, anyways, uh like I was saying, I do think the market is going to be really interesting for the rest of this week. I want to invest for Thursday flips. Like we talked about in the second upload that was dropped yesterday, the how you can make coins at any time in FC 27 video, that is a very, very helpful one. A lot of you guys have been checking it out already and learning some of the trading methods that you can use right now. One of the things we talked about in that video is Thursday flips. I think Thursday flips is going to work this week, but yet again, I'm still skeptical to see is there going to be a bit of panic selling and sell off before we get to the biggest Friday of the year, and that is the full release of this game. Cuz of the new promo, Destined for Glory is going to be coming out, and because of the store packs that EA are undoubtedly going to release, how big will they go with the store packs is going to be the question, and we won't get the answer to that until Friday. I think that might drive a little bit of fear, but we're going to watch the market very closely today on Tuesday, and especially into tomorrow and Wednesday, because if there is an opportunity to buy something today or tomorrow and then see it rise a good bit on Thursday because of Division Rivals rewards and the coin injection that brings to the market, we will be there for that, okay? We will be there for that 100%. We're just going to have to see how things move, maybe Thursday night into Friday. That will be the big question mark. But, because of what is coming Friday, that is even why there is a question mark, guys, and that is the fact that we have the first promo of the year, and we have the leaks. The full team has been leaked for Destined for Glory team one. Team one means this is a two-week promo, and even some of the players that EA promoted on the actual FC 27 early game websites that they posted themselves are not in this team one, so that kind of even more so confirms a team two. But, this is team one, and notice it is a smaller team of players, only 15 cards in this promo team than 20 or even more than 20 that we had last year in FC 26. We've got Mbappé, Nuno Mendes, Harder, Isak, Khonza, Kika Nazareth. Another reason that she is going up so much right now. She's in the first promo team of the year. I mean, this does give Claudia Pina vibes. Hold on a second, right? Because Claudia Pina had a Cornerstone card last year, one of the first promos of the entire year. Kika Nazareth, same thing. Hmm, interesting. Undav has got a card. Abdelhamid from the Ligue 1. Ooh, he used to be in the Saudi League. In the Ligue 1 now. He's got a card. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in La Liga. And then a couple of other La Liga cards, Kokcu, Rensch, Besek, Veerman and Morgan Rogers from Chelsea. This is the entire promo team right here. I do not believe these are official stats, but I do believe it is the entire promo team. Only 15 players and you can see they're all 85 rated or above. Now, first thing I think about since this is the first promo team of the year is Should these cards are cool. They are live and we're going to talk about that in a second. But we can probably invest in a couple of these gold cards as they are going out of packs. I think Isak, of course, the Kika Nazareth who's extinct, Nuno Mendes, Mbappé and maybe Harder would be cards that you would look at investing in as they go out of packs. Maybe for a lower budget, too, you'd look at Besek and Morgan Rogers as well, but they are like very, very cheap. I think Isak would be one of the best ones that you could potentially invest in. And yesterday when this leak came out, you could see his price did trend upwards from 27,000 coins up to 31 or 32K. He is 27,000 coins right now, but I think if you do want to make this investment and hold on to him, there's a whole bunch of people that are going to be logging into this game on Thursday night and Friday that are going to be Liverpool fans building Premier League teams wanting to use a card like that Isak even though he's not super pacey, right? He's only got 81 pace, but he's got 84 87 shooting and he's four-star four-star and he's 86 rated card. So, people will probably still want to use this card while he is out of packs and this promo version is in packs. So, I still think there could be some investment opportunity there. Now, this Destined for Glory promo, we already know some details about it, and we know that En Nesyri and Matheus Fernandes are not in Team 1, so they must be in Team 2. But, the way these cards upgrade sounds good for maybe the immediate future of this game, but it doesn't sound good for the future. I don't know. This is the upgrade path for the Destined for Glory cards. Midfielders and attackers, when they get a combined three goals and assists, they get a plus one shooting and passing upgrade to their cards. Six goals and assists gives them a base playstyle, 10 a overall upgrade, and 20 another overall upgrade. So, this is going to be pretty hard to get, especially it's going to take weeks, months. I mean, these cards are live for the rest of the season, but I mean, are we going to care if an 87-rated En Nesyri ends up scoring, let's say so goes crazy, right? And he scores 20 goals, or like 18 goals and gets two assists. I mean, that's going to happen in like May. Are we going to care that his 87-rated card goes up to 88 at that point, or his 88-rated card goes up to 89 at that point of the year? Probably not. That's what I think makes this upgrade path not that exciting. But, you know, hey, maybe somebody scores a hat-trick or has two goals, one assist after this long international break is over, and we've got a potential upgrade for a Destined for Glory card then. I mean, that's possible. Getting, you know, three goals and assists within a couple of weeks, that's very possible. But, these higher-tier numbers is going to be difficult to get. Now, for the defenders, CDM, center back, left back, right back, it's all about clean sheets, which is also going to be difficult to get. But, two clean sheets gets you a defending and physical plus one, four clean sheets gives you a base playstyle, and then the overall upgrades for six and 10 clean sheets as well. That's why I look at this and I say, I don't know if the live aspect of these cards is going to be that exciting for most of us, but it is the first promo team of the year and with the promo team being smaller and the ratings being higher, hopefully it does bring back the kind of importance of packing a promo card. That's one thing that EA said they're trying to fix this year and one thing that's been lacking in the past few years is when you pack a promo card, you feel like you're only packing the bottom row of the promo team and those cards like mean nothing and don't even go into your team. Now, card, shoot, that might be going into your squad. So, hopefully these cards, albeit probably still hard to pack, do feel more like an accomplishment when you are actually able to pack one. Now, let's talk about the SBC and objective cards that have been leaked because I think there's actually some promise here. The first one is a Noussair Mazraoui left wing Bundesliga card, 88 dribbling and 88 pace for his card right there and that looks like a decent SBC. If we're going to talk about a potential, you know, cheap SBC like Boadu and the other ones to watch player pick were just this last week, this could be a decent card you get done. Now, it's not crazy fast or crazy good dribbling, but those are pretty good stats at this stage of the game and of course, he is live. So, if he does get three goals, three assists in the next couple of games, you know, you could see a bit of a stat boost in his card there. That one's interesting to me, maybe a bit tougher to link with the Bundesliga links, at least for my squad right now, but that's an interesting one and here's a couple of other cards, official stats as well. Renato Veiga in La Liga, that that looks like a nice center back card, 87 physical, 80 pace. We are going to be set on center backs, guys, because we've got the Lacroix from the season pass. I'm actually using Konaté right now, but the Eredivisie Spanish center back, what's his name? Yeah, Mika Marmol. I've actually found this guy to be pretty solid as well. He's got an 87 sprint speed, which is decent for the pace split there, and he's got decent defending stats. He's got the intercept, he's got the slide tackle. It's a very solid card with 86 pace, right? I mean, a lot of these defenders that we've had for objective cards in the early game have got 80 plus pace and mid 80s defending and physical, and that's pretty good, honestly. That's Lacroix, Marmol, and now this Vega as well. So, that's a solid card, and this Frattesi is not bad, either. I mean, bro is almost Hooligan, and those are his official stats as well. 84 pace and dribble. That looks like a very solid box-to-box midfielder. I don't know what play styles he would have. Let's actually look him up really quick. Frattesi, what does he have on his base gold card in terms of play styles? He's got none. Really? What about Renato Veiga? I want to see what he's got for base play styles. Block and Aerial Fortress. So, we add a couple of play styles on there, and we add the stats that these cards are leaked to be having, and if they are cheap and they're a part of the new SBC system, well, that is not too shabby. As 84 rated as well, I mean, they're starting pretty low. Sure, you could say, "Nate, that's not very high rated." But, if they're going to be in SBCs and they're going to be cheap, they don't need to be. Those are still cards that a lot of us would use right now at this stage of the game. So, those are the leaks that we have right now for the Destined for Glory promo week number one. I'm sure there's going to be Evos, there's probably going to be more SBCs. Like, we're still getting teaser leaks about a flashback SBC we do not know about yet. I'm sure there's going to be more leaks that we will be looking out for, but first promo of the year, it's going to be interesting to see how it goes down. Will this be a promo that we actually notice? Or will it be a promo where it's like, "Okay, it's kind of going on in the background, but like, these cards aren't packable, and the SBCs and objectives are like mid." I don't know. I don't think the SBCs and objectives look that mid. We're going to have to see then how the cost of them comes out, and if they do give them some decent play styles. So, that will be interesting to get our first promo of the year for that regard, but I'm not quite sure cuz I've been enjoying this early stage of the game with the gold cards and learning the game and sure getting a few special cards from, you know, the season pass. I got three cards in my starting 11 that are from objectives because sure the card designs are cool, but they're also like solid objective cards. So, I'm really curious to see this promo. Let me know in the comments what you guys think about what you just saw there. Now, let's talk about today on Tuesday. We are expecting team of the week news, guys, because the leakers are going to start posting who's in team of the week today. Like as soon as this video goes live, I would expect to see some news and some tweets and some leaks about who's in team of the week. Now, the market might tell you the story of who's in ahead of time and I'm watching Salah's price really closely because if he starts to go up, then that's going to mean that he's probably in team of the week because these leakers are going to get the team of the week first and they're going to have their discords and their private trading groups investing in these gold cards that are about to go out of packs. So, that's one way you can watch the market and kind of look and see what's going to be leaked before it's actually leaked. If you start seeing a card like this Mohamed Salah move up, well, that probably means he's in the team of the week. So, we're going to have to wait and see because I do believe that'll be a big part of the news today. Watching the market again like I just mentioned will tell us who is going to be in. Now, I think content today is going to be better than it was yesterday because we might get an upgrade pack SBC. I went back in the archives to see what we got last year. Last year on the first Monday of the game, we had a 77 by two upgrade pack and then the next day we had an 83 plus upgrade. And I actually remember this dropping cuz it was pretty cheap and it was a nice 83 plus pack. It was the first one of the year that had a decently high rating. You had to turn in an 81 rated squad for this, but hey, if they do an 83 plus pack again today or some sort of upgrade pack like that, but they make it the new streamlined SBC system, we will be there because that'll be even easier to get done and more fun to get done. So, I think that's possible content that we could be getting today. And since we had a Squad Foundations player from the Eredivisie here in the campaign section, I would think going alongside of this leak that was posted yesterday as well, I would think that we would have Eredivisie Squad Foundation like another objective potentially and then SBCs dropped as well. If you guys remember, they did this last year where they would drop more of these green Squad Foundations cards for different leagues. They'd drop like an SBC that would coincide with the objective. So, since we have the objective here, I wouldn't be surprised if we had maybe one or two more of those in SBCs here very soon. So, that would be what I'd be watching out for for content today. Probably SBC central in terms of the content. There could be some Rush points that would be refreshing today as well. The weekly Rush points are expiring and this is interesting if you want to grind Rush today before content. You got to get 35,000 Rush points, but you get an 82 by 2, an 83 plus pack, and then an 84 by 2 is the group reward. So, that is some place that you could get some interesting and unique packs because the fodder there is going to be higher rated from the guarantees that are in those packs. And speaking of packs, I know I have some big ones in my store, but I'm feening for one. Let's go open one pack as I claim an Evo right there and a couple of coins. Let's open one of these to end off the video. Let's do Let's do a You know, let's do two of these. Let's do the 78 by 2 and the 80 plus by 3. I'll save the two big packs for the stream today on Tuesday. We're going Roma. We are going slow. That looks like Cristante. I've turned him into a couple of SBCs. I know what those stats look like right there. 81 Cristante and Dreyer who I believe actually just scored when San Diego played the Inter Miami squad in the MLS. Now, 80 by 3, this is could be a good one. It's not going to be a good one. Pantiacos, that's Fortounis. I've already had that card in my midfield as an 83-rated card. But guess what? That's some free fodder from objectives, or not free, but I played games for that. That's some fodder for objectives that I can now go use in the reroll. Boom, the reroll SBC doing its thing and being a great value option. Now, we're going to open the rest of those packs on the stream today on Tuesday. But guys, keep an eye out on the leagues cuz there probably be will be more news about who's in team of the week today, but also who is going to be in the promo squad and in promo parts of content upcoming this weekend.
