good morning it's day three been an awesome awesome awesome time with Jimmy mu from mu chokes and today we're going to Target Ider probably the the biggie but we're going to go after the Whitewing common and surf scoter maybe surf scoter like to get a red breast MC ganzer tus got one his first one yesterday so you check that one off the list but we had a great time yesterday got some black ducks we're looking forward to today it's probably what 15° I think about 15° so it's cold but it's Crystal Clear there's no not a cloud in the sky yesterday it was a little bit overcast we had some wind yesterday but it is Dead Calm today so I think that be pretty good to see the birds coming don't have to chop and maybe find them a little bit easier we had a couple birds that that got out away from us and man was so choppy couldn't find them but um should be should be awesome day I'm looking forward to it it's just beautiful out here in Connecticut and having a great time I second what Travis said it's uh actually been to me it sounds kind of cheesy but it's kind of been a dream come true for me honestly I can't tell you when I wanted a black duck how long back I wanted one but it's I feel like it's been a long time I know people that aren't really into water fouling they look at it and say that's pretty plain but to me it's like something about it it's just super pretty and like it's I don't know it just I'm really drawn to it and just uh I think probably the Rarity of it for us and where you can you got to go to get it you can't just go get it anywhere and going with someone like Jimmy Müller which has been an absolute unbelievable host like I can't express to you how much of a not only a good host but a great friend I feel like our friendship's even grown even closer on this trip and just his wisdom and knowledge trying to soak it in from like how to handle a boat and certain situations and what to do and like methods behind duck hunting and and how to hunt certain ducks and why this and that and I was like man I I've learned a lot honestly I've learned a lot on this trip so it's just been amazing I'm excited about today like trout said I knocked off the red breast and ranzer black duck I'm hoping I can get a hin and a drake common Eider and I'm hoping I can get a Whitewing scater and a black scotter so we'll see how today goes and stay tuned [Music] it's cold today seen some good bird action already it's a stiff wind though 15 plus a 5 to 10 mph wind bitter cold time that's it's very wet and cold 15° think you got some good gear on yeah some hot hands
