Our FIRST BLACK DUCKS! Duck Hunt with Jimmy Muller | Day 2

all right ladies and gentlemen I think I'm going to f prepared still got all the tackle boxes yeah wow she's cold you got everybody close hello interesting ride today might be the day my hands be cold probably good morning guys we're out here on an island and we're going to be targeting black ducks today maybe some Widing but primarily the black ducks it's been lifelong dream of I guess all of us to shoot a black duck and from California of course we are not going to get those so pretty excited it's kind of windy I don't know how I'm not a good gauge of weather but a little bit overcast but hopefully that burns off and they swing around and want to play today so it's going to be exciting morning it's cold here today but we got an awesome view I'm cold the only one but sting well and got like maybe 30 minutes till shoot time should shoot some black decks today so it's a really cool experience to be out here on the East Coast uh with Jimmy and his wife um but yeah so I'm looking forward to it yeah I'm with them I just uh I've wanted to shoot a black duck for years so we're pretty excited I'm very thankful that Jimmy invited us out here and has treated us awesome just taking care of us and let us come out here him and anusa very appreciative and I'm very excited just the whole setting in the environment is pretty sick we're facing the West like kind of looking towards the Sun but the uh Sunrise right now get some of that but it's it's pretty crazy so Jimmy put the decoys out and uh probably have probably 30 to 40 yard shots maybe 50 but we were shooting his know his hand loads we got our heavy shot but he wants us to try this out it's TSS number seven so so we got the good chokes we got the good ammo let's see if we can shoot you don't want to scare what drops in because if if they if they become aware of you they're going to swim 200 yards out and everything's going to land with them so you need to be ready yeah be ready well before it's time that's ridiculous that TSS yeah I don't know if you can even see that on the camera but that's hand loads from Jimmy himself Thomas just made a shot out there yeah sh show you what you think is possible we got four black ducks just now four black ducks down we all shot the exact same time and we got says they're all black ducks my leg wasn't shaking but it's shaking we're we're pretty stuck to say the least we want I want to go pick them up so bad they're in the water but we're waiting for some more birds but to be honest with you I say that's pretty sick that we all one never had shot lefted we shot at the same time all got one then one flew off from trav's group and I shot him right here so I have two I think so I'm I'm I'm going to be done but hopefully they're both DRS but I might have shot a hand Jimmy's guns it's a a400 extremes right yett us got the sick snow one is here gun thing gun we all got shot cam so at least we got that on DRS is dialed right now no blinking no blinking Miss G over there so for 90% of hunters the decoy choke is incredible because with steel and bismuth it's great like just on this side of the close decoy but with TSS the decoy is good to those decoys which is 55 yards yeah and then the passing beyond that so that's why I always try to ask people please don't buy a UFO number one I never even use a UFO buy the passing if you're shooting really far or sea ducks or geese far and everything else is decoy chill probably that UFO probably blow a B's head off you will you'll just miss or or destroy them yeah so like there's no benefit to it unless you're doing what you guys just did or for GE probably yeah for that shot he made out there yeah even though the passing was in incredible the UFO will shine out there you know it's incredible but that's it you know look at that Cent we're going to go pick the birds up right now and go with Jimmy got to help pick him out of the water have everything on shot cam too oh yeah yeah so like you know you smoke that one you smoked the other one that's in close is that is that it actually that's the last one he just shot I think the one I had I seen it going out like it's the one that's to the left of those three okay so that's yours on the left and then the farthest one is Thomas's Thomas's and then the ones on the inside okay all right sweet making some dreams true yeah man doing it look at that Sunrise I know it's insane I have no worries yeah I was like I laughed like really want me to push you out once you get in you don't need think we should do start on the clck them up in order so we know okay we may be weird but we're all a little bit like that like we want to know you know I know some guys think that's kind of dumb but oh man come here they come in shoot man I know seriously up out man that's a nice one and I laid it on its back and it's bands on it that's so sick dude when you Google it you'll know immediately yeah I was all sick who shot it I said you shot a ban and you said sick who shot it I you're happy for whoever it was yeah that was so awesome yeah oh that's insane dude shot let's go big dog are you stoked she's actually got the green is cool dude he's actually wait a minute that's a girl is it yeah it's the girl yeah he said this is a true black duck cuz it's got the see that has white oh yeah so you got a hybrid yeah it's like a hybrid if they have white they kind of hybridized I know that's it's crazy dude oh then his is too then it's hybridized yeah really M like that all Sol true that's a like well that's a hand but it's like a there's no there's no white in it gotcha okay I got to go look at mine now all right we'll try to hunt now nusa all right Jim's picking up all the birds we've shot several more I think our shot cams are done died two of our so hope the trout is still down and Thomas just Thomas just got a second number two baby he's done for the back we all got our blacks just shot flopping in the water right there we are going to have to kick him though if it is beat him on the beach is it a drake oh yeah sweet oh yeah awesome yeah probably huh cuz like 20 years from now yeah 20 years from now he wants to be perfect glass will preserve it forever when are you going ever shoot another Drake baned black d it's a big Drake yeah crunch thatle just another day in the office just another day in the office you know we got red bruss ganzer out there we got uh uh wigon out there we basically go about six or seven brid what is it what did he shoot oh did he shoot a scotter I bet I bet you he shot a Whitewing oh he did oh nice dude what is that holy cow he shot a Whitewing scotter I don't know if you can see it in the video but oh this one has a blue a beautiful blue wing that's a beautiful bird wow I just shot a red I believe a red rested maybe maybe it is a common but I think it's a red rested ganzer it's floating out there [Music] inys it's been an absolute phenomenal day honestly my dream bird Buck bucketless bird big time so I can't even be any any happier and then super stoked for Thomas for shooting that band and so thankful to like I said Jim and nusa Jimmy and anusa for bringing us out here this is this has been epic literally I can safely say that word can you safely say that word I can say that and not be being dramatic about that for sure so we're going to pick up I mean man after I shot that second black deck I was like I'm good or maybe it was the red breasted cuz I wanted one of those two but they're coming in phenomenal I can't ask for anymore honestly I could be totally done right now and I haven't even shot the rest of the birds we're going to shoot I'm pretty sure I shot the other Drake but I think this is one too just in case cuz I really want one of these too TR gets to pick it up is it a drake nice perfect awesome hey congrats yeah baby that's awesome Travis oh that white wing yeah oh yeah big time you stoke Travis oh yeah cross another one off yeah baby we thought it was a black duck kind of then we're going yeah we thought maybe it was our black duck so wait a minute was that that was what you shot no no huh oh okay so we thought it might have been black cuz we seen him out there kind of swimming I thought maybe it was wounding and then um got to look got to look in and he was uh show pick that thing up put it in the sun still a little that's sick turn it towards the Sun a little bit that so Beau wow dude there you go wow that's awesome those big pink feet huh yeah that's so awesome beautiful job all right guys epic hunt it's safe to say I was asking if it's okay to say that I think Travis degrees so Thomas with his band what is it two numbers missing yeah one or two numbers rubbed off Jimmy's thinking it's possibly a 12-year-old band at least all got her black ducks two each and TRS has got another special surprise that we showed you the Whitewing scer and then some red breast ofer so it's been an absolute amazing hunt big thanks to Jimmy yeah huge huge thanks like you guys did great words can't even tell you how much we appreciate it AES you guys can shoot man must be the Muller chokes the TSS you know it you know it's the Muller chokes but I mean you guys did amazingly well you really did you made some really beautiful shots and uh y look at that huh beautiful bird beautiful look at that so this uh this banded black duck actually had a nostril marker in them you see where it pulled through many years ago it's already all healed over and the reason I know what it is is cuz I shot one here years ago he had a big orange rectangular R rectangular plastic tab that was literally zip tied through his nostril and he also had a band on him so this bird is old this nostril tag the nostril marker came out a long time ago based on all this cartilage healing on the bill so that's really great this is going to be a really cool band call in this band is faded out really good so you got all faded out so this bird's been around these nostril markers I called about it the reason they put them on is cuz they want to be able to identify the bird from Shore with a telescope oh that's why they put them on because it's a bright identifier you know not going to see that's a trophy man yeah very very awesome awesome all right yeah it's amazing you need me to push whatever [Music] you know what time it is cheers for a great day oh yeah my
