Opening Konami's NEW Utility Selection Pack! (NEW FULL ARTS!)

Konami has done it again. We have a new extended art set called Utility Selection. What's up, guys? We're back, and I will admit, this new set, not the craziest name, not the most exciting, Utility Selection, but it has some pretty crazy-looking cards in it. Now, let's see why you might want to grab this set. It's called Utility Selection. I mean, the name leaves a lot to be desired, but there are four cards per pack, 15 packs per box. So, we're going to be opening up two boxes. That's 30 total packs in this video. 30 ultras, 30 supers. All cards available as secret rare. 38 cards available as prismatic secret rare. That's the starlight version for us. And eight of them are available in extended art. Eight extended art cards in here. So, this is no joke. This is not a four extended art, eight extended arts, 16 coming ulti, and 16 coming collector rares. We're talking all the rarity, extended art, prismatic secret, ultimate, collector rare, super rare, ultra rare, all that good stuff. And here are a few of the cards you can get in extended art. Ancient Secrets, Mind Mirror Force, which is a new Mirror Force card. And uh we're going to pop this up on the screen. It includes Mimicat and Dark Magician in the artwork. It's kind of insane. Then there is an Emissaries from Darkness. I assume Yeah, this is the new Gorz card that everybody was talking about a few weeks ago on Twitter. New Gorz, and it's extended art. Dark Armed Dragon Punisher. I'm checking out all of this info on Yugipedia, by the way, so you guys can see all this if you want to look it all up yourself. Full art Dark Armed Dragon. Then we got a uh an an EK Descendant Dragon of the Ice Barrier. It's a It has a long name, and I'm not going to try to pronounce it. Silent Honor Ark, both those are extended art. Ultimate Sky Dom Mystear Rose Paladin. And that's all eight. So, there's a lot of cool extended arts we can get. Let's open them up. A lot of high rarity in here, so this feels like a really fun set and an exciting set. All right, let's see if we can start off right off the bat, get something crazy. First Utility Selection pack, we have a synchro. That looks like the Haven't we had this card before? It looks a very familiar artwork, so maybe it's just a related card. Feel This is a reprint set, so this is Luluwalilith. I just said a Synchro card. I didn't know that card. I know I've seen this card before. I I need to look it up cuz I now I'm now I'm confused. I I want to know what it was. Psychic Enforcer. Duh. Okay, that's a kind of a big card. Okay, then we have the Clockwork Knight and one more card. Starting off with a Collector's Brotherhood of the Fire Fist Tiger, I think. So, we have a Brotherhood of the Fire Fist Collector Rare right off the bat. Hitting high rarity. We'll see like how many total high rarities we get, you know, how many you can expect. Uh so, you can decide if you want to grab some from Yugi Market, but that is a nice pull already. Uh here we go. Next pack. Let's see what we can get. We have a Link Spider. That's a Link One. Nice card for a lot of lot of decks. We have a Red Reboot. So, definitely a reprint set. A lot of cool high rarity stuff. This is like in the in the realm of rarity collection. Not really, but not the same, but it is similar. There's a uh Bestial Dispador. And an Evenly Matched Secret Rare. They call this Secret Rare in the OCG. We would call this diagonal pattern a or non-diagonal uh you know, vertical horizontal pattern a Prismatic Secret Rare, but for them a Prismatic Secret Rare is a Starlight. So, it's a little different. Next pack. Only 30 packs to be opened today. So, we don't have a crazy amount of packs, but there are a lot of cool potential things in here. And every card's going to be given away. So, if you see this, one of you guys are going to win it. There's a Chicken Game. Very nice. A Linguriboh. Am I Okay, the only card I've missed is Psychic Enforcer. Okay, now I'm definitely missing this. Never mind. Now it's Malicious Fiend Dormouse. Never mind, didn't miss it. I know that card. >> [laughter] >> And then Dominus Impulse. Very nice. Uh that is a nice Secret Rare. Not too shabby. We are going to do pretty well here, I think. We're going to do pretty well. At least in terms of guessing. Not in terms of pulls. We would like to to up that. I say that. Now I don't know what this card is. Some kind of skeleton guy. Some pharaoh {slash} zombie. This got to be a zombie. Red Reboot again. Um what card is this? Maybe I just got lucky and I knew all those at the beginning. I have no idea. And ooh, another collector rare. Oh, wow, Quaking Mirror Guardian, right? They're reprinting some old school cards in here, which is cool. I like that. They're reprinting a lot of I mean, this is an old card. I think this Quaking Mirror Guardian came out like 10 15 years ago at least. That is a very old one. So, very cool. At least 10. It got to be more than 10 years. I got attacked. Uh, I almost couldn't talk there. Utility Selection. You guys haven't checked out the Whatnot stream, make sure you guys do that because there is a lot coming up with Magnificent Monsters, guys. I have crazy plans. We were going to have so much opened, given away. You guys are going to enjoy it. Okay. Miscellaneous Swords, dude. The new angle looks crazy on the foil. There's a Baron de Fleur. Then we have a a a rooster? I That's got to be Fire Fist, right? Some kind of weird Fire Fist card. I say that it Ryan's going to text me about that one. He's like, "Dude, how'd you not know that was a uh uh some other archetype." And there's a There's the Mirror Force. That's a sweet artwork. That is incredible. Mimic Mimicat Dark Magician. Uh Baby Dragon, I think. What's that little one? I got to look closer. And that's a Toon Mermaid. Okay, yeah, guys, that's old man eyes right there. I can't see I can't see things that small. Okay, that's That would be an incredible full art. That has some really iconic cards on it. All right, MST. I'm seeing something shiny. Looks like an ulti back there. Mystical Space Typhoon. Uh an Xyz card. Guys, all these newfangled cards but all newer than 2008 I'm >> [laughter] >> There is the Brotherhood of the Fire Fist uh Chicken Run. And the Door Mouse. Like I dude, I know this card so well like the back of my hand like I don't know I just know it yeah I mean in Japanese I can just I just know it and no problem. All right next pack. Uh so far fun set a lot of cool stuff with some old school reprints mixing with some new school reprints. Oh. Oh what is this? I Oh what is this guy? He looks so familiar. It has the Slifer face but it's not obviously. It is a card that I don't know the name. We have a Evolsaur There's two options. Let's try not to mess it up. I'm trying to remember which one this is. Logia. I got that right. Then we have a princess of the princesses and oh a forbidden droplet secret rare. Dude that looks incredible in this lighting. The lighting sometimes from this new angle it's really upping the openings in my opinion. Like we're getting it where it's really showing off some of the foils really well. Okay next pack Quaking Mirror Force Guardian. I want to know my percentage full percentage of guesses that if anybody counts every single card let me know and let me know my full percentage on guesses cuz that would be interesting info. Ultimate Conductor Tyranno I played this in Dino deck. This card is insane. Insane. That card is so good. Uh I'm going to try to fully remember the effect. Flip all your opponent's monsters face up maybe it's all monsters but I think it's your opponent's monsters and then it can attack all monsters and I think it does piercing. It's been a while that was 2021 or 2022 and I played that deck at a tournament and I did win a couple of rounds. I didn't do great but I won a couple of rounds. Elder Entity It's like Nordis or something. It's something like that and then a secret rare Upstart Goblin. I remember on the What was the What was the series where all of us were were together with Cimo? It's like eight of the creators. What did we call that? Now I can't remember the name. And it was zoomed in on this little dude. I had no idea. I had absolutely no idea who that was. So, yeah, but good and bad memories of me me stinking it up. All right, next. What was that series called? Now, I can't remember. Okay, we have a zombie. Oh, the new Hydro Genon guy. Hydro Oxy Genon, he's like This is in Legendary Duelists Season 1. Like or not Season 1. Not season at all. Legendary Duelists. I think that's what it's called. The OG one with the Mecha on it, right? And then it got Season 1 was the reprint. I don't remember the name, though. Then we have the uh the the funnel cake guys. Not funnel cake, what are they called? Oh, no. Yummy yummy Got to be Cupsy. This has got to be Cupsy. And then a Miscellaneousaurus. Okay, my guesses are they're they're doing pretty good so far. I say that, I'm probably like 50%. This was the cover card from Lightning Lightning Storm's original set, which was There was a a set called Lightning Overdrive, but I don't think that was it, right? I think it was the first set of 2020. It's like right before COVID. One of the first sets with Starlight Rares. It might have had been the first set with five Starlight Rares. This is an Ignister card. You can see the It's like light Oh, what is this? Light Ray at Ignister. I can't remember the name. Uh Miscellaneousaurus. Some kind of That's like Alister's cousin or something. And then another one of these. I don't think I just missed every card in there. No, Miscellaneousaurus, I got that. I got that. Really falling off on the guesses now. This ain't pretty. Oh, no. Isn't this a um What is that archetype? It's like It's the one with like the the the colons in it and stuff. Or maybe it's dashes. Oh, I can read. F.A. F.A., that's what I was trying to think of. I don't know the name, though. Once you get to FA, that was the only part I could remember. Linguriboh. We have the goddess of the spell card and Quaking Mirror Guardian. Okay. Look at me getting some repeats that I know over and over. Okay. This is Logia, I'm like 99% sure. There is a Brotherhood of the Fire Fist Tiger. Dominus Impulse and Brotherhood of the Fire Fist Chicken Run. Still a lot of packs left. Still a lot of packs. Still a lot of opportunity. Isn't this an Evolsaur card? Evolsaur The level six was not as popular. It's not Dolkka or Logia, it is Evolsaur uh Isn't there one that's like kind of short, it has an S at the end? Lens or something? I don't remember what it is. Uh Forbidden Droplet. Oh, man, that's a Trishula of some kind. New Trishula? Is that a new card? I don't remember it. And oh, Mathmech Mathmech Sigma. Mathmech Sigma, maybe? Is that right? I did play the Mathmech deck for a little bit. That That deck was pretty good. It was pretty good. All right, utility selections so far pretty fun. No extended arts. No starlights yet. Okay, wait. Dragon's Mirror I know that one. Lunalight Despian Lunalight. The new Gorz, I don't know the exact name but it's new. This is a Gorz card. We could get that extended art, that would be insane. Look how cool that is. And then the uh Math This is also a Mathmech. Sigma Mathmech Delta This is like a Delta, maybe? Sigma Delta Mathmech Gamma? I can't remember the exact name of that one. All right, keep it rolling. And we've got uh the Elder Entity. What is Does it say 18? Isn't it like Naus or Noius or something like that? Ah, I can't remember. All these newfangled cards, man. You know, from like 8 years ago. I know I'm calling them new. I know. I'm sorry. Dragon's Mirror CRU. Uh we have the Baron de Fleur. We have Mathmech Sigma, IS MY GUESS. THE EXTENDED prismatic secret Gorz, the Emissary of Darkness, also known as in this new print. Timeout, let me look it up. The exact name is Emissaries of Darkness. Oh my goodness. Check out that card. Maybe the best card we could have pulled. A new Gorz, Emissaries of Darkness. Gorz is that not actually in the name, but he's right there. This is insane. Not just extended art, but prismatic secret These come in ultra and prismatic secret rare. That is a very rare pull. Oh my goodness. So, another Prismatic secret. That's three Prismatic secret rares. I guess the extended art doesn't count towards your Prismatic. MST Psychic Punisher. We have the K9 Azumin. And the Ultimate Rare Fire Guy. I actually like a lot of high rarity pulls in this opening. This has been crazy. It's been crazy good. Chicken Game, the the Hydreigon and Oxygeddon, Dominus Purge. We have like a play set of those. And Link Spider. OCG openings, you just get full sets of everything in like two boxes. It's crazy. TCG players could never. Uh we have the There's going to be only one is my guess, but I don't remember him being a skeleton there, but I have Maybe I haven't looked closely enough. Evenly Matched. Psychic Something. Comes in extended art. Could be pretty insane. I haven't seen that ONE YET. AND DO YOU GET A PRISM AT DO YOU GET AN EXTENDED ART every box? The Mirror Force as well? Gorz and the Mirror Force? Mind Mirror Force extended art prismatic secret. These come in ultra, so you shouldn't be Maybe we're just getting so lucky. Cuz I think this would be ultra I wouldn't surprise you if you get an extended art every box, but I don't think you get a prismatic secret extended art every box. Oh my gosh, this is the greatest two box opening of all time. These are both my number one cards that I would have picked. Wow, we got to get these out of the sleeves together. Look at that. Oh my good dude, the Mirror Force looks insane. The Mirror Force looks insane. Like the This almost looks like Starlight 1.0 versus Starlight 2.0, doesn't it? Like the edges are a little bit I think it's cuz of the extended art, but the edges are so bright on this. Woah! What a pull! Okay, yeah. One pack left. I was not expecting that.
