Opening Konami's NEW Legendary Arc-V Decks (THEY ARE INSANE)

Today, I'm going to Walmart to look for the brand-new Legendary Arc-V Decks. I am here at Walmart looking for the brand-new Legendary Arc-V Decks. Is that what they're called? They've been pretty fire with the Legendary Modern Decks and the 5D's, I think, were the two previous ones, and they've all been really good with a lot of modern staples, a lot of cool reprints of three different decks. So, I'm hoping we can find them today and pick them up and review them. I only need one, so hopefully there's just one on the shelf. Let's go check it out. Maybe they'll have some Chaos Origin IOC as well I can grab while I'm here. I'm not looking like there's anything new here right now, unfortunately. All the older stuff. They do have the 5D's decks right there, but wrong ones. All right, guys. So, you saw my clip of going to Walmart. I only went to one Walmart. I was super busy last week and didn't have time to go look at other Walmarts, and I think I might have even been a little too early for when my Walmart was going to have them. But, luckily, I was able to acquire some online. Legendary Arc-V Decks. We're going to be opening these up and talking about them in this video. You know, checking out what's inside. But, before we do that, we have a giveaway. I will be giving away this McDonald's pack, T. Garkaminos, and wow, this thing is pretty clean. Like a maybe a tiny little nick up there, but very, very nice-looking. Crazy to think that this this this card came out in 2002 and beautiful foil. I love the old-school foil. McDonald's pack, as you guys know, was one of my probably, because I have a bad memory, but I assume my first set ever where I pulled the Millennium Shield. I remember pulling it. I'm assuming I had not had Yu-Gi-Oh! before that. I'm pretty sure that's what got me into it. Unfortunately, I can't remember anything. At least not correctly. I've heard that a memory is just a memory of a memory, and then you start confusing yourself, and I'm like, that feels like me. So, I think that's true. Okay, enough rambling. Let's check out the new Legendary Arc-V Decks. So, this is a pretty cool product. They have already done the Legendary Modern Decks last, and I think before that was the 5D's decks, so the two they've done for these, and they've both been smashing hits. They usually are about $32 to $34 at Walmart before tax, I think. Maybe it's 30 with tax. I think it's like 32. It's something like that. It's like wow, that's kind of a lot for like that that little box, right? It's three decks, and they usually have fire reprints. So, we're going to see if that's still the case for the Arc-V. Odd-Eyes, Lunalight, Speedroid, and I haven't said anything yet. I'm trying not to be judgemental, but Arc-V means pendulum. So, I'M GOING TO TRY NOT to hate too hard, but let's check it out. Odd-Eyes, Lunalight, Speedroid. It's time to swing into action with these three ready-to-play tournament decks with everything you need. They say ready-to-play tournament decks, a lot of time that means uh just a crappy deck that you could go to a tournament with, but you don't want to. In these kind of products, they actually fulfill that pretty well. Like, they're pretty strong. They're structures. You actually get multiple copies of hand traps, like not just one Ash, you might get two Ash in one deck. You might get, you know, three different hand traps all in one of the three decks. It's pretty awesome. So, you could actually take this, go to a tournament, and not completely get decimated. I mean, you'd probably need to figure out how to play it first, but uh very cool. Each 40-card deck also comes with a hefty hefty 15-card extra deck. All extra decks are 15-card usually, so I would say a full extra deck. Hefty might be strong. It seems like you have extra cards. Box contains three secret rares, 18 ultra rares, 144 commons, and three bonus secret rares with a chance to upgrade to a starlight rare, which as you guys know, I love starlight rares. I love upgrading to higher rarity, so that's cool to have that chance. Includes brand new cards, old favorites, everyday must-have cards that go great in any deck, and much more. By the way, I have not looked into the card list for these at all. I'm just going in 100% blind to see like oh okay, what would they do this time? And I've been blown away by the last two. I'm expecting to be blown away, so my my expectations are pretty high, so I hope I don't I'm not disappointed. But, that you can get your Yu-Gi-Oh! Neuron app, which is a fantastic app. The only problem with it, I feedback for Konami, is if it somehow didn't just destroy your battery. But, it's such a great app. When you're dueling, you set out your phone, you got both sides' life points, you got the dice, you got the coin. It's a great app. So, if they can make it where it doesn't just suck down your battery and kill your phone after one duel, that would be fantastic. It would actually be you don't have to have your phone plugged in actually use it. Okay, what else is there? Anything else? We got the cool I mean, look, I'm a pendulum hater, but pretty cool artwork on a lot of the pendulums. If I could just ignore the fact that they're pendulums. Okay, let's open this up. We've spent enough time here, and this does not want to open up. See if I can get it open without destroying it. I think I did destroy it a little bit, but that's okay. That's okay. Let's check out the first one. I don't know where the Starlight would be. Would it be on the front card? Or are there promos in there? Let's just start with the first one. Duelist Point in-game rewards for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Wait, what? Rewards? Is this like a code card? Wait, is this a new thing? Sign up to earn in-game rewards. So, is this just a thing to get you to sign up for the game, and they give you the rewards you're already going to get anyway? Or if I scan this, am I going to get extra rewards as an existing player? That's what I'm wondering. Because a lot of us watching this, probably most of us, already play Master Duel or have a Master Duel account. So, this doesn't help that much. But, maybe it's a new reward, which would be crazy. I mean, it's showing this, so it looks like cosmetics, which I mean, that's fine with me. A free cosmetic is pretty cool. All right, Performapal Skullcrobat Joker. Enough about this, but actually, I'm really excited about that if that's something new where they're actually giving out free accessories or bonuses for buying the physical product. That's something they should have done a long time ago, and I I'm okay with them being late if it's here if it's here now. That's going to be cool. So, Secret Rare Performapal Skullcrobat Joker. Honestly, the Secret Rare looks fantastic. We're going to check out the print quality of these cards, cuz that's something that Yu-Gi-Oh! has been struggling with recently is print quality. Where do I rip this pack? Now, it This is going to test me. How many Ruxins does it take to open one pack of decks? I remember I used to get these these pull tabs and I'd be trying to open them from the top. Be like, "Just use the pull tab." And I'm like, "I didn't even know it was there." Okay, that's much easier than the old the way old Ruxin would do it. All right. Speaking of old Ruxin, I got to tell you guys a story as we go through here, but talking about I literally like last night all of a sudden my leg just stopped working. I had like a muscle spasm or something. I literally couldn't stand up. I was supposed to be packing orders. I was like, "Eh, ain't happening today." I just went and laid on the couch, propped my leg up, put some ice on it. It was bad. I'm like, "I'm not supposed to be this old yet, guys." Okay, into this. Uh the There is foil bleed on this card, which is pretty common these days. It does not have that ugly like foil bleed that usually comes on the ultra, so we're going to keep an eye on those, but I think this card looks fantastic for a pendulum. Okay, Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon. How is the print? This one does have a little bit of that look, but it's not as bad. It has a tiny bit of foil bleed. It's really not as ugly as some of the cards we've had recently. The Mirage Dragon looks cool, too. Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon. I should have mentioned both of these cards, I think, the Skull Crobat and the Vortex were Dimension of Chaos releases, I believe, in 2015. We opened a lot of those packs back in 2015 and I pulled a pulled a lot of these. I think this was originally an ultra as well. It also could be ulti, I think. So, it got the same rarity, which is interesting. Then a Odd-Eyes Soul Blade Dragon. Now, this one I'm not familiar with. I'm assuming Did they say there were new cards? There's usually a few new cards in here. Three It doesn't say anything about Wait, brand new cards, old favorites. Yeah, okay. So, there are brand new cards. I would guess the Soul Blade is one of those. Accesscode Talker alternate art. I believe this is what we got in one of the gold series. Is that when we got this? At some point we've had this artwork before. And I think it might have been gold series. Now I'm questioning that cuz that maybe that was when we thought we were going to get it or thought we were going to get an all target. That was when Axis Code Talker was real on Twitter. That's a huge reprint. Exceed the pendulum. This was all This is Is this an all target, too? Cuz we already have this card. That was in a main set. It was a secret rare, I think. I think that's an alt art of that. Oh, Ruxin special right into the Droll & Lock Bird. Odd-Eyes Override, I think that's new as well. Droll & Lock Bird, fantastic card. Rhymestyle is going to be pumped cuz he loves Droll & Lock Bird. So, if you ever play Rhymestyle, make sure you use your Droll & Lock Birds. He's going to applaud you. He's going to say, "Good job. You guys are amazing. You guys are awesome. I love getting Drolled." Okay, so there's not one, but two cuz you got to have two to make sure you draw it when you play Rhyme. Pendulum Sorcerer. Okay, I'm going to go through these a little bit like this. This is hurting my arm. Skullcrobat Joker. So, you are going to get I think the secret rare you get at the front could be one of many cards and we got Skullcrobat Joker. Two of those. So, we know with three with the secret rare. Monkey Board. Yeah, these are These are bringing back bad memories of playing against pendulum. Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon. This was in I signed a bunch of these for the mystery packs we did with Sassy Auto. It was in It was a secret rare in Crystal Revenge. Is that what it was? I'm trying to remember, but this card was a secret rare. Astrograph Sorcerer. That's an old school [music] pendulum card. Ash Blossom. Another reprint of this, which is good. It just makes Ash Blossom very accessible, very easy to get. You kind of have to play it in modern Yu-Gi-Oh! So, you want to have three of them. >> [music] >> That's nice to have another Ash Blossom access. I'm guessing there's more of them in other decks, so you might even have three. Dissolver. We got the Odd-Eyes Synchron, Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum. That's cool. That's the guy on the front, the cover card. I'm guessing you can get that in secret or starlight as well. Three of them. Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon. Three of them. We have the Odd-Eyes Butler. Okay, the eyes are odd. Odd-Eyes Valet. These are like the Kilo's family over here. With all those those butlers they have in that weird mansion. Yeah, yeah, Hunter Hunter. Yeah, I finally finished it. Okay. Lady Ange, we got the Odd-Eyes Seeker, Odd-Eyes Seer. Molmorat Army Peropero. Didn't they put the Molmorat Army's Molmorat Army is how you say it, right? I think they put these in the la- in the in the modern decks, didn't they? So, now another way to access these. So, all these staples are really like they're taking it to a new level where you're really able to get these things. They are available. So, if you're a modern player not even for the pendulum, it's just the staples are so good in these things. Sky Iris. And the thing is I see them at my Walmart every time. They're always available. So, it's not like I know some places will be different. You're like, "Well, I can't find mine in my local Walmart." A lot of places these are very accessible. So, it's making modern Yu-Gi-Oh much easier to access. Certain places are worse, obviously, if it's really popular. Called by the Grave, Lordly Oh, Primal stuff's in here. I actually was putting my Primal Blue-Eyes deck together and realized I didn't have a Lordly Load, but I did because No, it was Drill Beam, actually. Drill Beam, I put a stack of them from Battles of Legend, I think, like two Battles of Legends ago, and I couldn't find them. So, I didn't actually have any. So, there's a Roar. I'm sure there's a Drill Beam. Yeah, I needed this. Rime actually ended up handing me off one. Chaos Angel is in here. Wow. Okay, we just saw this as an overframe in rarity five or Battles of Legend. I think it's Battles of Legend. But, it was only an only an overframe. So, it was hard to get. Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon, Absolute Dragon is The artwork on the Odd-Eyes cards are really good. Like, I hate that I have to hate them because they're pen- pendulums. I don't really hate them. I just don't like the pendulums very much. Okay. Raider's Knight, we have Xyz. Wasn't this Was that an ulti at some point? I think it was. Apollousa, I mean, it has been how many years? Seven years since this was printed in 2019. It's about time we get a common. I think that's the first common. It could be in another one of these. Beyond the Pendulum, that's the original artwork, right? So, it was an alt art. It's beautiful art. Now, I'm forgetting. was this in the last one? But either way, that's like a crazy card. This was a $150 card when it released, and now it is a common that you can buy out of a $30 deck that includes three total decks. So, actually insane. So, that you get a little thing that if you're going to put it in your binder, I don't know. You could use this as a token, maybe. Odd-Eyes deck. Duelist Point. So, I'm wondering if this Duelist Point thing is intriguing me. I'm excited about that. And not not to fret, guys. Don't fret. There's two more. There's two more of these. Oh, that was would have been our uh that would have been our Starlight. I ruined it. Odd-Eyes Overlord Dragon. So, that was a new card. Odd-Eyes are cool looking. I I Man, I wish I could hate, but I can't. I can't hate. I mean, Crystal Clear Wing Over Synchro Really? Konami is like they're they they don't even care. They're like, "Yeah, this is like our thing now." Like, we just have to sound like the most ridiculous names ever. It's been going for a while, and they're like, "We're embracing it." Yeah, Odd-Eyes Over Rebellion Synchro Clear Wing Dragon, you know. Just add more words. The more words, the more accurate the name, you know? You can decipher it a little better cuz it's got 20 words. In one way, I I love it because I love the the dedication to the bit of just making it have a million names, and it's funny. But at the same time, it's ridiculous. How are you supposed to remember like I guess you have to give it a nickname. Literally, you just have to give it a nickname. How are you supposed to commit like and enjoy like the Yeah, I really like Crystal Clear Wing Over Synchro Dragon. That's kind of my favorite card. Like, did you mean Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Dragon? No, Crystal Crystal Clear Wing Over Synchro Dragon. Oh, the Over Synchro Dragon. Got you. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. Okay. It's a beautiful card, though. Great artwork. I like it. Uh the Speedroid Terrortop has the bad foil bleed, and it looks disgusting. I I got to call it out because it just looks awful, and I'm hoping that they get this figured out at the factory because it's obviously not supposed to be happening and it is and it just looks so bad. The cards look terrible. They just do. They have an old school ultra rare looked incredible. This looks disgusting. It's disgusting. It I hate it. Okay. Speedroid Take Tomborg. Okay. Speedroid Daruma Darumaka? Wait, what? Daruma Knocker. Daruma Knocker. Okay, not Darumaka. That's a Pokémon. Okay. Hi-Speedroid. Just look at this I hate the foil bleed on ultras. Foil bleed on secrets is one thing. It can look pretty cool. Ultras it just doesn't look good. All right. Now to the crazy staples. Effect Veiler. Fantastic. Now you have three draw. Four draw. You buy this you have more than three draw. It's like you can just make two decks, you know? I don't know if draw is limited right now so you might just be able to have like multiple decks. Effect Veiler. Okay. Cool. Speedroid Terrortop. Speedroid Double Yo-Yo. Speaking of Kilowatt, we have the uh I don't I don't know. We have the Red-Eyes Dice. Red-Eyes Red-Eyed Dice. Not Red-Eyes. Red-Eyed. This gives me old school Yu-Gi-Oh! vibes. This might be a reprint of an old Yu-Gi-Oh! card, but I I don't think I've ever seen it. So that makes me think it's not. But I love the art on this. I love the art on this. This is a cool card. This is a cool card. An eyeball and a die. I like that. That's incredible. And now like now they can make merch of this. You have the dice with the eyeball. You can have the Speedroid Red-Eyes literally have the monster. It's so cool. All right. Din Din. Third Ash Blossom so we're good to go there. We have the Marble Machine. Marble Machine again. Marble Machine again. Nibiru so you get two of those. Speedroid Car Turbo. I just wish these weren't all, you know, Arc-V decks aka pendulums. Ultra Hound I've always thought as a goofy looking guy. I I like him. Fluffal. So one Fluffal, one was it Perulia? What was the other one? I can't remember. Wing Synchro, Speed Recovery, Called by the Grave, so two of those now. Triple Tactics Talents, that's the first one. That's a fantastic card. Rise of the Duelist came out, that card was expensive. $700 Starlight, I believe. It's pretty boy Scratch, Infinite Impermancence, so one, two of those. Fantastic. Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, not Clear Wing Crystal Crystal Clear Wing Over Synchro Dragon, that's different. Don't get too confused [music] with that one. Star Eater Charge Warrior, that's an old school card. Old school I I say old school. It's It's a Synchro, so it can't be that old. Clear Wing Fast, I mean, it could be 18 years old. Pretty old. Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Dragon. This is not Crystal Clear Wing Over Synchro I literally can't say that. Wing Rider, Glider number two, Rubber Band Shooter, and then you get Whoa, look at this. Yummy Snatchy. Experi- Whoa, what is this? Experience the next generation of Yu-Gi-Oh! a digital collectible card game. So, they're just advertising Xbox Series X1, Xbox One, PS5, PS4. Yeah, let's play let's play virtual. We don't need our We don't need physical games. You know how sad that makes me? I don't even play a lot of video games. I'm sure you guys have been keeping up with it, but as someone who loves old video games, as someone who loves to collect complete in box games for the games I loved, which was mostly Pokémon. I know, yeah, turn away your eyes if you're a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, but uh yeah, by the way, that's mostly on this case. This thing's actually pretty clean. Shout out Quick Panic. It's just sad. You play a game you love, you can't collect it in the future. You just It might just disappear forever, and you just have to remember it with your memories, and just be like, "Oh, yeah, I remember that game." Can't collect a complete in box version, or a box version, or just the game. Can't do that anymore. Cuz you know what I can do right now? I can just boot up my Gold version on my Game Boy, and just play it, and just have fun. Can't do that with these current, you know, PS5 games that are coming out. Sad times. Okay. Brother of the Fire Fist Tiger King, I'm getting a little little distracted. Wow, look at that pull tab. That one's way easier to open. Getting a little distracted, getting a little sad, just thinking about the sad times. And I know a lot of you guys are super gamers, and you're like, "Seriously, this is happening." It's just tragic. Here's our Duel Links card. So, if if you still play Duel Links, if you like to open those boxes where you just got to open 200 packs to get one ultra rare, and then reset the box, open 200 more packs to get the ultra rare. But, I might get lucky and get it early and reset the box. Oh, but then you didn't get all the other ultra rares. What if you want to play that deck? Can I have to do that later? Another 500 packs. Yeah, okay. Don't get me carried away on Duel Links. Okay. Brotherhood of the Fire Fist Tiger King, secret rare. Lunalight Black Sheep. So, these are not quite as bad as the last one with the foil bleed, but they're not great. Lunalight Wolf. Lunalight Emerald Bird, pretty cool. Pretty cool art. Lunalight Scarlet Tiger. Like, with this foil bleed, I would rather it be a common. That's where I'm at. There's something in this card that that don't that that is literally like printed into the card, and then that is dinged right there on the edge. Sad. All right, Cat Dancer. Saber Dancer. All right, back to the the big reprints. Here's where if you're a fan of you know, Yu-Gi-Oh, you want to play modern, but you maybe you don't even care about pendulums, but you got all these amazing staples. So, this might be worth 30 bucks. Effect Veiler. Especially if it's like, you know, in a store, and you're looking at it. You're like, "Wait, I could pay like 30-something bucks. I walk out, I have a full set of hand traps of like everything." Black Sheep. I mean, you don't have all the the the Mulch Armies, but you do have a lot of them. Lunalight Tiger. Kalida Chick. Okay. Kalida Chick. Ash Blossom number three, I think. Is that right? Lunalight Yellow Marten. Tri-Brigade Fraktall. Oh, I remember This is why our lighting's not as good. I'm doing the old school way. Yeah, what am I doing? These cards look way better like this. I'm just so used to doing it that way. Oh, yeah, Now, at that. Look how much better that looks. Yeah, now we're talking. All right, so the cards look better. All right, Meow. So, one Meow, one Perulia, one Fowalos in these decks. So, if you did want to get a full set, you could buy three of these, but you'd have you'd be drowning in hand traps with the rest of them. Goldlio, Goldlio, Goldlio, Silverhound. Silverhound, Silverfang. Is that a Silverfang thing? Yeah, I didn't completely fix this. Okay, Polymerization, Foolish Burial, Fire Formation Tenki is a pretty good card as well. Three of those. Lunalight Perfumes, Foolish Burial Goods. Not only do you get the Foolish Burial, you get the Goods as well. Called by the Grave number three, Lunalight Fusion, Crossout Designator. Have we seen one of those yet? Maybe in the first deck? I can't remember, but that's good. Second Triple Tactics Talents, first Pot of Prosperity. That's a fantastic card. This used also be a $700 Starlight. It's crazy how like it was a secret and a Starlight. That was it. And it was super super expensive. Now, you can literally get it. You go to Walmart, buy a $30 box, and you get a Pot of Prosperity in there. If you That wasn't an option when this released, it would've been impossible to get one of these. Uh Thrust, incredible. Heavy Polymerization, Lunalight Masquerade, another one, another Imperm. That's three Imperm. Serenade Dance, Black Goat Laughs. That was a secret rare originally in its first set, too, but that was a couple of years ago, I think. Uh Lunalight Panther Dancer, Leo Dancer, Leo Dancer, Liger Dancer, Perfume Dancer, Outer Entity. I mean, a lot of extra deck cards. So, they said hefty extra deck. You get 15 per deck. 45 extra deck cards. That's insane. Uh time to redo it, cuz a lot of these are generic, and you can use them anywhere. Salamangreat Almiraj, that's a great card uh for, you know, just linking off something in specific decks. Cross-Sheep, and then another SP Little Knight. So, you get two of those. Then you get the Legendary Hero Decks Lunalights, and representing Neuron once again, and then Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. Such a good time back in the day. It's become a little too fast for me, and I hate the I hate the system and how to get cards, but I have so many good memories of Duel Links. Okay, I want to check out the secrets real quick at the at the better angle. Brother of the Fire Fist Tiger King, that looks insane. Crystal Clear Wing Over Synchro Dragon also looks insane. And then the Performapal Skullcrobat Joker. Honestly, the secret rare looks the best on this card, in my opinion. It looks great. Honestly, it looks great. Hate to compliment a pendulum, but I just did it. Sorry, pendulum fans, I'm hating on your favorite rarity, but or whatever you call it, summoning mechanic, not rarity. But honestly, I have I've been blown away by how they've done with these decks. They've made playing Yu-Gi-Oh! a lot cheaper just by releasing the modern decks, the 5D's decks, and these Arc-V decks. I'm sure they'll do them for Vrains at some point and some other, you know, Yu-Gi-Oh! Call me crazy, legendary Duel Monsters decks. I mean, they've kind of done these before, kind of, but I think that they could do them, you know, in this style, you know, they I do something insane with like old school like Dark put Dark Magician Blue They kind of put Prime Material in here. Blue-Eyes Dark Magician and Red-Eyes all together. That would go crazy. I know they've done Yugi's Legendary Decks before, those always sell like crazy, so give us another Duel Monsters deck. I know all the modern people like, "Ew, no." They can include staples in there because they want them to be playable real decks, and they'll probably do that when they have these the Shining Sarcophagus stuff and stuff like that.
