Opening A Magnificent Monsters DISPLAY For GRANDMASTER RARES!

He challenged me to a display battle and I couldn't say no. >> What's up guys? We are back with another battle against Rhyme Style and this is not then we duel. This is just a straight up old school like our first ever collaboration. I open packs, he opens packs on our different channels and we see who pulls better. Now the lore for this is Rhyme Style got every good card ever when he battled against me. He got the 10,000 dragon. He got all kinds of crazy cards just in like a couple of boxes. Well, that all turned around in Limit Over Collection the Heroes when we battled and I pulled A GRANDMASTER RARE. SUCK IT RHYME. SUCK IT RHYME. SO, I'M HOPING TO CONTINUE that with Magnificent Monsters. Now, the problem is, as everybody's been talking about, Magnificent Monsters pull rates suck. So, I'm not even hoping for a Grandmaster. I just want an overframe. But, if I get a Starlight overframe, that'd be huge. It's been incredibly hard to pull those. So, that's what I'm praying for. So before we get into it, we have a giveaway. I'll be giving away this legendary duelist. This was actually a consigner sent me two of these boxes. I just use them for giveaways. So there's going to be a couple of Rage of Raw boxes coming up through the giveaways on YouTube. And the new way we do it is we mention them on YouTube. You guys know about these giveaways and I give them all away during our whatnot streams because I get those shipped out so much faster than the normal giveaways that I used to do for the last like several years. Don't cheat. Okay, we're going to have two different videos coming out today, both at the same time, so you guys can watch both videos. Make sure you go to Rhyme Styles channel. It's probably going to be on his Pokemon Yu-Gi-Oh opening channel, which he does post quite a bit on, even though I'm pretty sure he's like uh he swore off opening packs, I think, uh after Magnificent Monsters. So, we'll see how long that lasts. You know, it's rhymes. So, right now, he's probably I'm never doing it again. In a month, he'll be back opening packs, probably. I say that though, he did kind of stop opening Pokémon in like like forever. So, he might actually be done. But knowing Rhyme style, I also have to factor in that he could be baiting me into thinking he got nothing and then he got a grandmaster rare when I watch his video. So, I really don't know what to expect. Also, another thing to mention is I've had so many boxes where the glue is like melted and these barely stay. Like, they literally just open up. So, it's very frustrating. Like, luckily I'm not trying to keep these sealed, but if you were, it's like, well, they're not sealed anymore. That sucks. Let's see what we can get. I'm hoping for a Chibi Zeus. I'm hoping for a Nightmare Eyes Restrict. Uh those are Starlights uh that I would like to get out of the promo pack. So, those are the two I'm hunting for. I did pull I have pulled those on whatnot uh for other people. So, it was cool to see them, but I did not get those. So, these are my own packs here today. So, I'm excited to see what I can get. Witchcraft Madam Ver. We have Orical Sword of Ceiling. There's just been so many things to post recently. I had all the front lines packs to open. We've had a couple whatnot streams. I have all the series that we're continually doing. So, I haven't had a chance to open a ton for myself. I did get the Walmart opening, which was pretty cool. Oh, I had my Where's my Oh, yeah. We've got a Target opening coming that I actually haven't done the opening part yet. So, I'm excited to see what's in there. Maybe I grab something awesome from Target. Mischief of the Wolves, Crowley, the Gifted Majestice, and Dark Magician, the Pharaoh Servant right off the bat. Beautiful. The ultra rare. It's like if you have it at the wrong angle, it's hard. It blends in the name. But when you see Dark Magician, you don't need to see the name. You know what it is. It's the dark magician, which is incredible. I have not gotten this in full art yet. I've gotten the dark magical curtain. I've gotten a lot of the other ones. I have not gotten the dark magician, the pharaoh's servant just yet. Such a cool name because it has pharaoh servant in the name, you know. So, it's like it's like an homage to uh the set as well. Dracoil Lucas. If you haven't seen my video about the EV yet, definitely go check it out. And you can see that 96% of the time, 96.4% 4% of the time in one of these packs, you get all ultra rares, which means no ultra overframe, no secret or starlight overframe, and no grandmasters. So, it can be pretty brutal. That's my first Zeus. That's cool. I'm going to pull it out just because I like Zeus and Deception of the Simple Spoils. Shout out Rhyme. And right off the bat, the first mini box, the Sky Striker. What is the exact name? Mecca Widow Anchor. Yeah. Okay. Mecca. Sky Striker Mecca. Mecca. It's hard to read. It's hard to read that one. But that is an incredible card. This card does not have a grandmaster rare. It's one of two cards that is a full art, but is not a grandmaster. You can only get this in ultra overframe or extended art, which is the correct name, or Starlight Extended Art. That's the only way to pull this card. So, that is an incredible pull right off the bat. Very strong start with the Dark Magician, the full art, and a nice Chibi Zeus to throw that in there. I'm liking this so far. We're actually doing pretty well. Let's see if we can go three for three with decent pulls. Uh, the Art Mage, Academic, Arcane, Arts, Acropolis. That's not a mouthful. We have Mech Knight, Crusader, Arammax, nice Chibi. I'm going to try to keep these separated a little bit because a lot of these like little cards will go in my whatnot as, you know, a few dollar cards like the the chibiies, etc. And starting Synchron, a lot of the underframe, stuff like that. That was an awesome first mini box. It's going to be hard to live up to that. I don't even expect to get another overframe. So, that could be the only one we get. I don't expect one, but I definitely have high hopes and I am hoping. I've heard that other people's glue it's like impossible to get off. So, mine is very easy to pull off. It's kind of a weird weird uh difference there. Infernal Strike Fighter. Uh let me know in the comments. Would you have preferred just to have four five card packs that had secret rare Starlight rare potential? I think people just would have liked that better than the promo pack. Uh the we've been begging for promos for so long, but then we get the promos in a set that doesn't you I mean it it's like kind of wants promos, but doesn't really need promos. That's kind of a 10 thing, but now there aren't tens anymore. These are the tens, which doesn't make any sense. It's very weird. Very weird. They like took our feedback, but then they took away the tens. So weird. All right. Breakthrough skill. Nice chibi. DDD Alfred, the divine sage king, St. Azamina, and favorite hero, Flame Wingman. I would love to get this in a Starlight Full Art. It looks amazing. I would love to get the Grandmaster, obviously. Uh, now the Grandmaster prices are pretty insane. like they've been selling for very high numbers. So, I've seen a lot of people uh get them and be like, "How do I how do I sell this thing?" I am going to have several of them, at least according to the emails that I've been getting being consigned on the website. So, if you're interested in any grandmasters, keep an eye on ruxen34.com, there are several that are supposedly coming my way, but that's the thing with the consignment. They'll say they're going to send it. I don't necessarily know if it's going to get here till it gets here because some people will be like, "Yeah, I'm sending it." And then they never send it. So there might be a few grand masters coming to the website and then if you want to reach out about something offers all that stuff with consignment I can always bring it to the person who sent it and uh you know like hey they offered this do you want to take it you want to counter whatever and a star junk garage so just FYI if you're looking for grand masters they are pretty cool cards uh this mini box is definitely not living up to the first one which was expected the first one was so good nightmare throne pretty good cardi GMX allos Dark Magician, the magician of black magic. That's a cool card. And pendulum mod ice pendulum dragon for heavenly dragons. The dragons are heavenly. Okay, next mini box. We have 10. See, that one was already open. I didn't even have to rip it. Straight up just open right out of the right out of a case. A case. A display. Just very annoying. Very annoying. But it doesn't matter cuz we're opening it anyway. But not great to see your product already open before you actually open it. You know what I mean? Uh, Nightmare Rest RT. Awesome. We have Crusader Averax and we have Assault Blackwing. Kusenagi, the Gathering Storm, Kisanagi or Kusunagi. Is that a U? Yeah, Kusanagi. All right. Cannot read. These are getting too small for my old person eyes. Three packs left. Here we go. I also just have bad eyesight. I don't think it's cuz I'm old. Deal. Bellar. We have the clown crew, Dark Magician again, the magician of black magic, and astrograph sorcerer, the starfrost magician underframe. pretty solid pack with like a lot of decent like little cards, but obviously nothing huge in there. Uh, one overframe so far. We're going to track how we do out of 30 packs and 10 promo packs. So far, one overframe, no Starlights, Subspace Battle. We have the Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon for Heavenly Dragons. Cool. There are 20 There are 18 different underframes you can get because the Sky Strikers are not in there. So, in that one slot, you'll have 18 different cards you can get. Abau, the lightless shadow. Lightless shadow. Okay, cool. Dimsy. I like that chibi. So, let's put that over there. Stasmina. And Cyber Contract Witch. Also an underframe. Not the craziest mini box. A lot of nice. Look, these are all open. They're just straight up opened, which is not awesome. I do not love that. I do not love that at all. Next pack. Mini uh or sorry, uh promo pack. We have an Underworld Circle Secret Rare. Cool. Three packs. Can we get back on the train of non ultra rares? That would be fantastic. I'm going to take ultra over for him. That would be good. Starlight. If I see a Starlight in the main pack, I'm going to lose it. We have Woku. That's an awesome go-kart. I'll pull that out. Gaga magician. Gaga magic. Also awesome. I wonder what rhyme got. I have a feeling he either he either did really bad or he did really good and he just wasn't telling me. Art mage IP mascarena. That's a pretty good one. First time seeing I think all the IP stuff and SP and all that, right? What was that? Maybe one early. Favorite hero. Flame wing. Man, look at the corners on these cards. You can just see how bad they are when you're going to the next card. Look at that. The print quality is not great. As usual, we have not really been blessed with great print quality over the last few sets, especially some of them have been really bad. This is better than like uh Maze of Muertos. That was absolutely terrible in terms of print quality. We have Maleithic Force, Sulcord, Happiness, Fish, Sonar, and Synchro Emergency Underframe. If I get that overframe, I'm going to rage. So, I'm just going to knock on wood that that doesn't happen. We're not quite halfway through. We have six mini boxes left. Okay, this one's actually sealed. Congrats to the uh Dro for actually doing that. Or the Print Factory, whoever. Yeah, I guess print factory, not the Dro. Thank you very much for that. Let's see if we can get a Starlight. No Starlight's out of here just yet. Uh ruler's a good one. That's a solid one. We have a dib again with the chibi. Two packs left or three packs. Here we This is our fifth of 10. Uh this is a display. So 10 mini boxes, not a case. A case is four displays. And the display contains 10 mini boxes which contain three packs in a promo pack each. So uh a lot of people confused on that. Every time I see comments about it, it's people saying that they opened a case when they opened a display starting sink around. That's nice. They're like, I got nothing out of my whole case. And you're like, whoa, that's a lot. you know, a lot of packs were open. Like, never mind. It was just a display, not a case. Everybody's like, "Oh my gosh, the pull rates," which they are bad. But then it makes it sound even worse because you're saying you open a you actually open a quarter of what a case is. So, when you pull a quarter of the pull rates, it sounds really, really bad. All right. Breakthrough skill about Q. We have clown crew. We have guardian slime. And we're getting a lot of flame wingman. Is that a sign? All the flame wingmans we're pulling. Is that a sign we're going to get a Starlight overframer or grandmaster? I hope so. I really hope so. I mean, any Grandmaster would be awesome. But if you get one that's like actually a great card, you know, at least collectible card like a stardust, like a elemental hero, like obviously the dark magician stuff, that's a big W. There's Dabel Star, Mischief, Dark Cavalry, and Dark Magician, the Pharaoh's Servant. Okay, another decent card. That's our first one I've sleeved up since like the first mini box, which is we're on a little bit of a cold streak here. All right, halfway through and I just want to show you guys this. Okay, this display I just opened for this video. That one wasn't all the way open, but as you can see, it was very easy to open. That's happening quite a bit. Sorry for bumping the camera there. Let's see if we can pull a Starlight, but I feel like I would have seen something shiny already, but I didn't. Odd Eyes, we have Witch Crafter Madame Ver. We have SP Little Night. First time seeing that, I think. Now for the packs. These are the ones that really, you know, they're the real big hitters, but two of my favorite cards are in their promo pack, so I'm kind of have I I have high hopes for both. They aren't going to be as expensive obviously as like a grandmaster, but they are pretty cool. We have Radiant Typhoon, we have Deception, and we have Deco Talker Integration Underframe. Let me know down below if you've been opening the set or if you've been like I'm good. Like way too expensive for me. I'm just watching other people open it, you know? I'm kind of out on this one. Uh if you've been opening it as well, let me know. Like, have you pulled Starlights? Have you gotten I've heard there's literally packs that contain multiple Starlight Overframes, which makes sense why everyone's not getting a lot of Starlight Overframes cuz there are packs that contain multiple. There are errors where they've clumped together, which is a huge issue in my opinion. This set would look a lot better if we weren't pulling Starllet over frames like one every million packs. you know, if you're getting them a lot more often, which they probably intended to do, but then had that error with the clumping and kind of messed the whole set up and made it where you either get crazy good poles and you get clumped stuff right together or you get nothing, which is what most people are getting. Underworld Circle cuz I did that 96.4% without factoring in a clumped case cuz I had one where I was getting normal ratios. Uh, or at least seemed like normal ratios. Uh, number 39 underframe. So, if I factor in all all of our whatnot auctions, I think we did 145 mini boxes and got zero Starlight over frames. And you add that to the three out of 480 I got. It becomes three out of uh 145 mini boxes is 145 time 3, that's 290. That is 435 at 435 plus 48. It's like 900 packs. You've gotten three. So, it's like one every 300 packs. Insane. like just gets worse when you add in those clumps. But then I guess you clump like three of them together, it helps the ratio. Synchro emergency underframe. So that's been a huge bummer I think for a lot of people. Here's another one. Check that out. Already opened. Cool. Love that. So keep in mind if you buy a display sealed, there's a chance that a lot of them are opened on the mini boxes when you open it. So like if you open it up and you're like, "Yeah, I'll have all these sealed mini boxes." You might not. Hallelu Fibrax Engage and IP. That's a nice uh you know few secrets there. Three packs. Come on. We got uh Liquid Soldier, Salt Blackwing. That bottom corner on Liquid Soldier was terrible right there. Saraphim, same as Amina. That one's also dinged. Wow, that's bad. And same thing with that one. Yeah, the bottom was like caught or something and it looks like it dented a lot of the corners. And uh shocking. I can't believe that the packs that have no way of being secured in the box. I can't believe that they've had damaged corners. That's That's brutal. So yeah, uh unfortunate packaging as well. I think in Europe they didn't do that as well. So you us getting the short end of the stick. Well, usually it's Europe that does. So I can't I mean I'm not talking against them. OCG is always getting the great stuff. We have IP mascara. We have anamatic Nok and Wing Kuriba Sabl. One more pack and three more mini boxes. How are we going to do? How are we going to do some This can be just really sad. It can be just really sad. Master of Chaos, we got the Visa Samsara. Uh, it started off great and since then we've kind of returned to sad magnificent monsters. Luckily, we got the full art early. So, it's not like we didn't get anything in this whole opening. Three more mini boxes. Let's see about this one. This one's sealed pretty good. See, this one's like got the crazy seal, and you got to really work through it like this. You kind of got to rip through like that. Okay, promo pack. Here we go. What will it be? We have the ruler of the end of the world. Dark ruler no more. Malefic paradigm shift secret. Now our three packs. Grandmaster time. Come on, baby. It's Grandmaster time. IB, the the Thunder King guy, the Did I pull out Dylink Duo earlier? I don't think I did. And then Wink Kuribo. I should pull out Dinko Duo for the goat box. Two more packs here. Only eight total regular packs left. So, so much packaging for so few packs. I will say it's another another thing. So, you open a ton of like whenever I do the big openings on whatnot, I just have so much trash and it's brutal. Uh Gaga Magicians are just throwing away so much stuff. Yeah, it's not great. So, uh last pack here for the third to last mini box. Will it be something crazy or will it be another sad pack? Sad pack there. Sad pack indeed. Two more chances. All it takes is one pack though, so you got to believe like you can't can't get too down on yourself. All it takes is one pack and we turn this whole thing around. We pull a grandmaster. We go freak out. Even a Starlight Overframe would be incredible. Or Starlight Chibi Zeus. Maybe Nightmare has my strike. Infernal Va Samsara oral Sword of Ceiling. Okay, not the cards I was looking for. Three more packs, then we have one more uh mini box to go in this Magnificent Monsters Battle versus Rhyme Style. First edition. Awesome stuff. Come on. One from the back. Tier's Cashira Aba. The lightless shadow sulfacorn primoa teni spirit suya and gag girl. Cell phone subtraction. Subtracting that cell phone. Sorry girl. One more pack in this mini box. If that first like couple packs wasn't so good, this would be a really sad opening. Shining Sarcophagus, we have Mech Knight, Crusadia, Averax, nice Chibi. Simple Spoils of the White Forest, Secretarian Dragon, and Gag Gaga Magician. Gaga Magic. Last mini box. Last chance to defeat Ry. This one's actually sealed well, which is nice. Uh, it's okay. I I won't say we've lost already because we did get a really nice full art and there are a lot of full arts that are worse than that in gate. That's probably one of the better ones to be honest. So, getting an ultra of it is good. These are all stuck together like all the time which is not awesome either. Uh, as long as they don't damage the cards, it doesn't really matter. But yeah, so we got that at least. So, if he gets like absolutely nothing or just like a one kind of weak ultra overframe, then we'll be in okay shape. But if he gets a Starlight overframe, obviously we're going to be in trouble beating that. So, there's our Sky Striker stuff to add with our full art. We have three more monsters packs. If one of these has another full art, we're going to be in pretty good shape getting two full arts in a display. I think one is kind of average. And obviously, if one is a Starlight, we're going to be sitting in great spot. So, I have high hopes, but also low hopes at the same time. Okay. Treacherous Trapole dueling special. So annoying. When you'd start off, they they'd put up their Treacherous Trappole down on the first turn. You'd summon a guy that special summons a guy. You put two guys out, treacherous travel. It's like, "Okay, sick. Awesome. They're both gone. Can't exceed. Can't synchro." Whatever the current modern thing was at that time, which now it's like link craziness, but very annoying. Iron Chain Dragon, K9, Azuna, and Stardust Dragon Victim Sanctuary. I love this card. I can't wait to get my Grandmaster back from being graded. It's going to be fantastic. Two more packs. Come on.
