Open Mic Night for Storytellers on World Book Day

greetings everybody hope you're okay and I hope you're fine it is a beautiful thday Friday the first of March I repeat it is a beautiful Friday on the first of March hope you're okay and I hope you're fine it's a beautiful day to end the week those who are beginning their weekend or strengthened now is a good time to wind down come from work come from school come from business and then enjoy your Saturday and your Sunday but from that is a beautiful day to say thank you and to give a shout out to all the storytellers that we are waiting for today a big shout out to all those who are supporting us on world day those who are great to come and uh tell the stories looking forward to you and much more so if you are interested then definitely come and let us uh enjoy the world book day as you can the event so people going to tell stories come together but to be the whole day is going to be World Book Day so we're going to have a reading Marathon from the morning for those who can't make it so there's a event in Facebook which I'm going to show where you can post if you can't make it we think of everyone don't see ah I know some are busy I'm not about to make it for the live event but if you are on Facebook and definitely come and uh take you there so while you're here I am going to I'm going to upload in you event for there you are how about that ahuh so there you are as you can see want to discuss engage those want to see people people live definitely and also if you want to showcase your books and share picture of your favorite book your library literary collections and whatever CA reading spots you have so we can create a virtual library filled with a love of books and then this video highlight is about the open mics so I'm calling this about the open mics I'm calling all those who are authors aspiring authors published authors storytellers poets come take the stage and come on live with me and share your own writings or read and except from your favorite book read from your favorite book doesn't have to be your book just come read so definitely this is the highlight of the video I want people come out and share their favorite book could be 10 minutes could be five minutes doesn't matter come share anything you've read and I guess that is everyone I'm sure we have something we all want to share yeah definitely come and so this is the Highlight calling all aspiring offers and storytellers take the virtual stage during or open mic night share your own writings or read an excerpt from your favorite book let your creativity flow hey we also have book trivia challenge so in testing knowledge all book trivia challenge U definitely there and hopefully we'll give you some giveaways and surprises for the day so definitely if you can get some and join us so I wake up the whole day we'll be having marathons of reading and bunch of book clubs when from 5 p.m. to 8 GMP time we will have our storytelling session on open mics that's the best time when people off work so from 5:00 p.m. we'll go start a bit with you know history and much more then 600 p.m. to 9: going to give it to a story tellers so they can come and give you their worth and go on we're going to go on until we finish jocking until 9:00 p.m. or 10 then maybe we have an Afterparty when you're going to enjoy yourselves who knows stay tuned you'll never know until you won't laugh I've been for that I've made worst videos worst books worst things so definitely come and read we don't judge yet because we've been for it we know what it's scary and the first time is always the hardest but once you perfect it so we here don't laugh at people won't laugh at you it won't C you you won't uh put you down because of the book or your language no we encourage you even if it's in your language definitely come your All Nations all language book club so definitely come remember your story is important somebody out there needs your knowledge or how you overcame something what you read someone saying oh this guy can do it I can do it if Josh can do it what can I do it someone is saying oh if Josh can take time to make a video and he's not a good speaker he's not even a very tall guy he's just not a big guy look I'm not a big guy I'm not a tall guy I'm not the biggest I'm not the largest I'm not the fastest I'm not the the quickest but I'm just doing it no excuses at all yes what's my excuse none so what's your excuse none at all oh busy work you know time age you know I'm too old I'm too young you know excuses if I can do it you can do it I don't speak very affu sometimes sometimes I speak fast or I have V diara sometimes I speak very fast but I do it anyway why why not so we W judge you you feel like you're going to be judged don't worry we won't judge you here guarantee because we here to encourage you we know it's tough and we know what we give out comes back so we don't judge ours laugh at ours because what we give we receive we give what we want to happen so we want people to inspire so we don't want people to be judged to be L on upon so if that's your fear or your doubt or your worry let it go don't worry people judge and if they don't like you who cares we don't like you we're not here to please everybody pleas pleas me don't please everybody can't please me if you feel like you have to please people oh they might laugh yes they might
