Ocarina of Time's Release Date Leaked?! New Official Details!

Primary focus of this video is going to be on Ocarina of Time because now some official movement is happening with Ocarina of Time. something happened that we absolutely need to discuss and we now might have an idea of when Ocarina of Time will be coming out. So, that's really exciting. So, yeah, we got to talk about that. But first, we got to go over the updated sales data for Famitsu in Japan because it is the launch week last week of Splatoon Raiders. So, we want to see what's going on with that. And of course, I wanted to let you know about a huge sale happening with Bethesda games right now on Nintendo. Uh, so look, without further ado, let's get into the sales data from Japan for last week. We're at Universal Nintendo for this because again, I really love how they put their charts together here. Anyway, the sales in Japan, Splatoon Raiders debuted more with more than 474,000. This is obviously Famitsu sales data and it's physical sales only. So, we can see the rankings for last week and we see yes, Splatoon Raiders already up there at 474,684 units. This makes it the fourth highest Nintendo Switch 2 game debut. So, it was Mario Kart World was number one. I think Popia slightly edged out Splatoon Raiders by like like uh 50,000 units or something. And then uh what was the other game? There was one other I think it was Bonanza possibly that also ended up edging out. Maybe it was something else. I You know what? I I feel like it was something else. Either way, doesn't really matter. It's a great debut for it. I don't know how this compares to prior Splatoon games, but also it's a spin-off, so who really cares? There's no precedent for a Splatoon spin-off for sale, so really good. Rhythm Heaven uh dropped from number one down to number two, moving 78,000 units. Tomodachi Life at number three, moving 23,000 now having crossed 1.5 million units. Then we see Power Pros 2026 2027 from Konami at number four, 7,000 units. Mario Kart World at 6.6,000. Pokemon Popia at 5.8,000 essentially. Uh, E Football at 5.6,000, Minecraft at 5.1, Geomman's Great Gathering at basically 4,000 units, and really the same for E Baseball, Pro Sports Spirit, technically at 3,915. Get to the hardware, and yes, folks, this is actually an increase. So, the Nintendo Switch 2 is holding out in its number one spot quite easily with 50,000 units. That is a doubling of the 25,000 units the week prior. So, yes, folks, uh, it's a system seller officially. It boosted sales significantly during launch week. So yeah, maybe it's not boosted as much as like a Mario or a Pokemon or a Zelda would. Obviously there's levels to system sales, but hey, Splatoon Raiders definitely boosted stuff in Japan. So 50,000 units. That is the best week they have had since the price increase. All right, you see PlayStation 5 digital at the number two spot at 8,512, Switch Light at number three, OLED at four, the original Switch at five, PS5 Pro at six, the base model PS5 at 7, Xbox Series S at 8, Series uh digital edition is at 9, and then the Series X is all the way down there at 10. All right, guys. Uh that's pretty cool. That's the sales data. I know that's, you know, kind of exciting to go over. What's also exciting is a new sale by Bethesda. So, Bethesda celebrates 40 years with offers for Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, Fallout 4, and more Switch 2 and Switch games. So, we come down here and obviously it says, you know, the publisher Bethesda recently promoted a campaign for Nintendo eShop Nintendo with several offers involving publisher games. Now, the big thing here is obviously he's showing off the Brazil prices. So, we're going to go ahead and load up this sales data for the United States. All right, so obviously that was stuff for Brazil. So, let's go ahead and shift on over to what the sales are like in the United States. And yeah, guys, this is actually kind of a wild sale. So, we're going to go to Deku Deals here because Deu Deals is one of the best places to get a quick glance and just a better search option than Nintendo's eShop. Uh, we're over here seeing the eShop sales and you're seeing a lot here. Obviously, Outer Wilds, you're seeing there 124 and Donut County, but here we go into some Bethesda games. Doom seeing an 80% price drop there for Doom 2016. Uh, you know, you're seeing Wolfenstein 2 with a 85% price drop. You're seeing Elder Scrolls Skyrim at a 60% price drop. Crazy that game is still $20 all these years later. Uh, Doom Eternal with a 67% price drop. Uh, you see Doom Eternal Deluxe Edition as well with a 67% price drop, etc., etc. There's actually a lot of great sales going on right now. I know Capcom is also having a lot of big sales. Here's Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. You're seeing 20% off right now. Wolfenstein Wolfenstein Young Bloodood Deluxe Edition. and you're seeing at 80% off. So, yeah, some really great stuff. And as I said, Capcom, I know, is having some pretty big sales as well. You see the Quake games here coming in with big sales. As we scroll down, you're just going to see more and more great stuff. More Quake obviously happening. And as I said, I know Capcom has like Resident Evil and a whole bunch of stuff on sale right now as well. And if you don't believe me, because hey, you know, we're just glancing at all of this through the lens of uh of Deku deals. Well, when you go over to the actual United States ehop, which I was just on a moment ago, uh, one of the first things you'll see on their sales page is Capcom games. So, as I said, they got big sales going on as well. 20% off Reququum, uh, 50% off Resident Evil 4, Dragons Dogma, Dark Risen, 83% off, great deal. Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, Street Fighter, you're seeing all this stuff. So, Capcom and Bethesda having big sales going on on the eShop literally right now. So guys, go ahead and check that all out if you're interested. And now guys, we get to get into a very, very interesting story. We're just going to make this one big story, even though it's two separate stories involving Ocarina of Time that's coming out later this year. That's right, the big remake on Switch 2. We actually have some official news. And this is really interesting for a few reasons. So, if you haven't heard, Ocarine of Time just on Nintendo's website, not on the actual ESRB website yet. So, I've double checked multiple times. It is not listed on the ESRB website yet. So, there's no description, no details we can learn. But when we scroll down, the ESRB rating is now been changed on the official website. It has been rated. The rating is just not public yet. Okay. So, it's ESRB E for everyone 10 plus. So, not going with the below, but not going up to a teen. Now, what people really focus on is less the 10 plus because that's the same age rating as like Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, uh Acarina of Time 3D, etc. So, okay, E10 plus is fine, but it says animated blood and fantasy violence. Now, this is interesting because it does represent a small change. And to understand that, let's go look at the ESRB ratings uh for the prior Ocarina of Time games. So, first up, we have the original release all the way back on the N64. So here you'll see it was just rated E for everyone and it just said violence. There was nothing else there, right? Okay. This was obviously back in the N64 days. Uh, I know the blood at one point was changed from red to green and yeah, I know we have some of those nightmare fuels or maybe different different kinds of thoughts over the great fairies and all that, but the graphics were so kind of blah back then that while we were really impressed back in the day, uh, in reality, all of it was fairly innocent, right? So, that is what it said there. But, see, Ocarine of Time has been like had a remaster before, uh, Ocarine of Time 3D. And that's where a little bit more came in. And the age rating changed because graphics are better. So this is where it first ever got rated E10 plus. But you'll notice something here as we zoom in. It's not just violence anymore or fantasy violence as they call it. They said animated blood and suggestive themes. And why? Because well Ganondorf pukes red blood and blah blah blah. So they added the animated blood. But the suggestive themes uh that one is rather interesting because it was obviously the great fairies. I mean, here's what they looked like on the 3DS. It's, you know, okay, like we understand what the suggestive themes were. It's pretty much the only suggestive themes really in the entire game. Now, just to look at another Zelda game that's also E10 plus to kind of just give context to this for why it's a little interesting to not see the suggestive themes part thrown in. Uh, is Tears of the Kingdoms. This is also E10 plus, but you see fantasy violence and mild suggestive themes. And so does Breath of the Wild say that. Although Breath of the Wild also mentions alcohol because there is some brief mentions of alcohol or alcohol-l like consumption in Breath of the Wild. Nothing that I would ever be concerned about with a kid to be completely frank, but hey, I get it. Look, it's not the only time. Llama milk has basically been alcohol in the past before. So, okay. So, we see all that. So, then you go back to the actual uh official Ocarine Time page and yeah, it just says animated blood and fantasy violence. So, you would assume, okay, yeah, maybe some red blood is in there. Uh, the violence is there, but the suggestive themes are not. And that suggests that the great fairies have likely been completely redesigned, which look, is that shocking? The great deu trees been completely redesigned. Link's been completely redesigned. I mean, we haven't seen a character who hasn't been 100% redesigned. So, yeah, the gray fairies are going to be 100% redesigned, but they might have been um a bit more covered up. I don't I don't know. like we haven't seen it yet to really know. But you pair this information because this is like real stuff. Like this is really easy to speculate on because it's so real. We have something else going on with some amiibo and this is leading to some really interesting discussion points uh especially based on one of them. So uh these are basically Kirby Air Rider amiibo some new ones coming out. You know, shout out to Sakarai keeping amiibo going. Uh we see Noir DDD and Hydra amiibo. is on a uh UK uh store and you see a release date of November 2026, November 11th, which is technically a Wednesday, but people are discovering that the time zone, whether it's the 11th or 12th, is literally just a time zone thing and nothing else. Uh I'll show that in a moment, but there's another uh amiibo releasing on that day that's quite interesting, and that is the sword, Kirby, and Dragon amiibo, which obviously has a bit more of that Link stylings. We all know that, of course, with the cap and the sword. uh the references there. Kirby has had references like this pretty much throughout its entire history as a franchise to The Legend of Zelda. Everyone knows that this sword style thing is sort of a Zelda reference and call back. Okay. And you see November 11th. Now, uh what's interesting about that date is something that Necrofipe notes here. Uh he's the guy from Universal Nintendo and he said Nintendo European store list Sword Kirby and Dragon amiibo for November 12th. And why does it say that for him? Because his time zone is different. So it says November 12th. says that that date does fall on a Thursday. This amiibo reminds me of Link. And well, you know, people are theorizing it could be the date for Ocarine of Time. That would literally be one week before GTA 6. And it would be kind of funny to see Zelda be like, "Hey, we're not even going to wait for GTA 6 to come out. We're just going to drop a week before cuz we don't care." It's interesting. Uh, obviously, it's mostly speculation. I mean, not the amiibo dates. Those are real. They're on the website. But why are people thinking the amiibo date has anything to do with Zelda? just because there's a Kirby amiibo wearing a Zelda cap and sword. Well, the reasoning is because a lot of people have been tracking the amiibo releases over the years. And while they're not always dropped with the game on the day, uh amiibo releases tend to drop the same day Nintendo is releasing video games. And the amiibo don't have to necessarily be for that particular video game. Like obviously that would make sense, right? You're launching a new game, you have some new amiibo with it. Yes, that does happen. But Nintendo has had other amiibo drops like stuff like this, you know, like for Smash Bros. happen on days that other games released from them. So Nintendo does tend to pair the amiibo drops with a game release, even if they're completely unrelated to each other. And because of that, it has led people to be like, well, what the hell could Nintendo be releasing in November? And what would they dare have that close to GTA 6? You probably wouldn't think they would try the dust bloods there. that really feels like it's either been delayed out of this year or in September, but we have a a test fire coming up. So, I guess we'll see how that game is looking. But, uh, Zelda's a big holiday game. So, it kind of feels like that that's what they would put there. Of course, guys, 1,000% this is all just speculation. Of course, we don't know if a game will even be paired with those amiibo because obviously you can find instances where amiibo dropped and there wasn't a Nintendo published game that day, but it has been pretty frequent. So, that's why people are speculating on that. But really the big news, the real stuff is obviously the ESRB rating suggesting that there's been some design changes to the Great Fairies. Uh and we'll just go from there. We have no idea uh what's going to happen. Uh I'm just ready to see more Ocarina of Time. I think we all are ready for a real true gameplay reveal trailer.
