Video summary

The vlogger documents a highly productive week marked by significant transitions, including moving into a new office space acquired via Facebook Marketplace that features two matching dressers and a refinished kidney bean desk. While the move-in process initially required working from home, she expresses great excitement about her new workspace, which includes plans for a dedicated hobby room with areas for mahjong and needlepoint, as well as a Murphy bed for guests. This period of change is accompanied by extensive travel to New York City for various interviews, recordings, and photo shoots, culminating in a collaboration with Brooke Miccio on a candy-themed needlepoint collection set to launch on September 17th. Amidst the professional hustle, a poignant emotional moment occurs when she learns of Dolly Parton's passing at age 80; she shares her devastation while reflecting on Parton's enduring legacy, particularly the Imagination Library foundation which works to address literacy gaps in underserved communities. As the week progresses, the creator introduces "The Crawl," a new YouTube series where she visits needlepoint and hobby stores across New York City, including Annie's, Rita's, and Penny Lane, while managing complex logistics like outfit changes and travel. The narrative expands to include future content ideas such as tours of Round Top antique stores, a downtown McKinney experience themed like "Stars Hollow," and highlights from local stores in New Orleans. A major highlight of this period is a photoshoot launch led by creative director Haley, which the creator describes as their best shoot yet, scheduled for release in October. This success is followed by a trip to Connecticut for an event hosted by the creator featuring a sip-and-shop preview and a live Q&A with Penny Lane, showcasing custom needlepoint canvases gifted by Coco Creates and specific projects like a fridge magnet from the Wallace collection. The vlog also captures interactions from the "Stitch Tour," detailing breakfast plans with friends Haley and Tara, reflections on investing in high-quality graduation attire, and a collaboration with Chrissy to film a New York City cookbook store crawl followed by an exciting dinner. Later, she records a session with Barbara Bradley, co-founder of Vera Bradley, who is now 83 years old, during which the creator wears a dress chosen specifically for her by Barbara. These experiences underscore a deep sense of gratitude for the success of projects like "Stitch Tour" and "Friend of Mine," reinforcing her mission to help women find hobbies that foster independence and confidence rather than simply selling products. The video concludes with the creator expressing excitement about upcoming projects, including wallpaper and bedding lines inspired by her family's history in drapery, while reflecting on the surreal nature of achieving long-held dreams after years of hard work starting at age 15.

[music] >> Good morning, y'all. Happy Monday. It's the first Monday where we're heading off to the office. The office is not set up actually at all. We have not moved in yet, but I just feel like I'm more productive there already. This week is a very busy, productive week. We're off to New York. I have a panel in Dallas. We're off to New York. A bunch of meetings today, recordings, the Stitch Tour in Connecticut. We have a shoot on Sunday, more video shoots in New York. Just a busy, productive week. I just saved myself a massive coffee and I'm heading over to the office for the next couple of hours to take some calls and then we are which by the way, if you guys missed the last vlog, we now have an office. Take a shot every time I talk about office. Say office. I'm really excited about it. It's going to be a labor of love. It's going to take some time obviously to get everything like situated and moved in there, but I'm very, very, very excited. So, anyway, here's my outfit. Um all my clothes are dirty right now, so this is kind of like the best I could do. And then just some flats and my purse. I'm just so excited to like be out of my house and dress every single day. I don't know if I'm I'm probably not going to be there every single day cuz I obviously have to do a bunch of stuff from my house for like other stuff, but Talley's actually dropping me off because he's going to go trade cards with someone to get a truck to pick up some furniture from a Facebook Marketplace listing for the office, which I'm really excited for. So, anyway, got to go. We've been on meetings all morning. It's now 1:30, and we're getting on to a very exciting call. Hi. I'm in our new offices. Not to brag, but I do have offices now. >> Yay! >> I know. Little Facebook Marketplace update in the office. We got actually two dressers because they actually gave us Well, they didn't give it to us. We bought the wrong one. They like charged us to pick up. Long story short. Anyway, here we have this beautiful dresser and this matching beautiful dresser. I don't think this is actually going to go in this room cuz this is going to be like the hobby room. So, the mahjong over here, and then over here will be needlepoint. That will probably go over this way for storage. This, I'm not sure where it's going to go yet, but it definitely I mean, it's like perfect for the office. We got such good deals, and I just thought like they're literally the cutest thing ever. Um so, anyway, obsessed with that. Not sure where it's going to go, but that will probably just go over here and we'll like store a bunch of like mahjong stuff and whatnot in our hobby room. And then, I'm either going to paint or we're eventually going to wallpaper, but I don't know exactly what we're going to do in here just yet. And then, over here, this is not the desk I'm going to use. Actually, the desk I really want from Facebook Marketplace is actually available, so I'm going to get that. But, it's like a kidney bean desk right here that was just like refinished with different lining and new fabric on the chair. It's really, really cute. It's all matching. So, that's going to go here, and then I'll have like my background. Like I'll do like my gallery wall thing there. Um probably like a clothing rack here that will probably just take throughout. And then, um I'm going to get two chairs and do like a whole board situation over here. So, that'll be really cute. Um I'm also They're to paint all the black accents because I don't like them. And then this is the other dresser which we weren't meaning to get and this mirror, but now we have them and they were really inexpensive so it's like totally fine. But I don't know what we're going to do with them. I'm sure we will make use of them in the office. We're going to have like a Murphy bed that comes out of here um to have this like be partially a guest room, but it's going to be used for a bunch of different stuff. It's going to be kind of like a little makeshift room. So that is that. Had the meeting, went very very well. I'm very excited. So I need to finish up some stuff from that call to send back in and then we will be kind of off to the races on that project. But I also need to go home and plan all my outfits this week for New York recordings, interviews. We have a shoot, actually have two shoots, but one of them is like a really really big shoot. So I need like five outfits for that. So I really need to go home and like lock in on things happening there. So and I like hate that interview like today, but like it is what it is. Good morning, y'all. Sorry I kind of flopped on vlogging yesterday. Basically worked from my office and then I came home and I just got a bunch of stuff done. Leaving for New York tomorrow. And I just needed to like pack, get stuff done. I didn't even finish packing, but I needed to go through because we have two shoots and like plan a bunch of different outfits and stuff and then plan for the week ahead. Also, I have a ton of finishing to show you guys before I leave. Probably thought I'd post that tomorrow, but I finished my grocery list little fridge magnet and the magnet that I put in here is really not strong enough to hold up on its own, but it does sit above these things which like works for me. I was listening to a podcast episode this morning with Dear Bradley or oh, that is literally the wrong Did you guys see that? There was just an episode like this burner has not been working. That was a little scary. Whatever. Anyway, Faith, my assistant, is heading over. We are going to prep all my East Coast episodes. Need to film a bunch of stuff, film some deals, pack for the upcoming week, and then I have a dinner tonight with some old friends that I haven't seen in literally so long. It's so bad. I was saying it to Charlie. I'm like, honestly, this summer has just been really crazy, and we are both such homebodies. So, it's really, really easy to never want to leave the house and to just be like, okay, we work and then we and we work from here. But, also it's like we work and then we come home and then like whatever. And I'm like, we need to be doing stuff this fall where I'm like, God forbid seeing people on weekdays or hosting or whatever. Um I will say, I'm a lot more social in the fall and winter time because that's when I come alive, as you know. Everyone who's so triggered by like the comments about like summer's over or whatever, and it's not over till September 22nd. That's how I feel when people say that about Christmas on December 26th. I get it. But, also the people who are like complaining and [laughter] crying or whatever, a lot of them like have houses in the Hamptons and houses on Nantucket. You know what I mean? It's like I would be you, too, if I had that. I get it. I get it. Meanwhile, it's 107ยฐ in Texas. So, I, for one, am ready. Anyway, um I'm really excited. I'm recording a podcast episode with Barbara Bradley, who is the founder of Vera Bradley or one of the founders, and she This company is like named after her mom. Um I'm listening to so much. I think she's like in her 80s, I want to say. I am so excited. I've been listening to a lot of like other episodes she's done to prep. I also missed the part where Vera Bradley was a billion-dollar company. Like did not realize that. Obviously, she's like a perfect guest for me. Also, my dream would be for House Guests to just have guests over the age of 75. The issue is that there's not enough people who are over the age of 75 to like that I know that could do a good podcast episode. You know what I'm saying? Like not everyone like is good on a mic, like obviously. Like I'm barely good on a mic half the time. Like understandably so, like they're like 70s, 80s, and like have never been on camera before. So like why would they You know what I mean? And so Anyway, that's kind of like where I'm at there, but this is allowing me to kind of like have that experience, which I'm really, really excited for. Also, I'm over the moon because there is this like kidney bean desk I wanted on this place so bad and I've been messaging them for the past week and I was like, "Okay, there's no way. Like it's definitely sold or they're just like not selling this anymore because they have not gotten back to us." They got back to us yesterday and it's mine. I am so happy. While I'm away this upcoming week in New York, the office will be like officially moved over. We're actually moving the sauna and the cold plunge in my garage over to my dad's as well. So we'll have more like room in the garage and I think I'm going to make the office in my house, like that room into a full hobby office, which it like kind of already is, especially when I'm going to start sewing. Um I said this before, but that room is just so dark and I'm so affected by natural light, especially this past year. Like my god, like I can't even put myself I can't even risk putting myself in that position. Anyway, um I'm obviously so grateful for the room. It's just really dark, so it makes it hard to like do anything cuz you can't see. You know what I'm saying? So anyway, if you guys have good wrecks for like lighting or something that's like actually made a difference for you in like a small room, please let me know because it is not great. Even like Charlie doesn't like going in there to work, which is saying something cuz he's like a man and he like doesn't care about anything literally at all. So anyway, if you guys have any wrecks, please let me know. But I'm just over the moon. Like leaving the office yesterday I'm like obsessed with the office. Like I loved yesterday. I was like, "Oh, I miss it." All weekend I was just so excited to go back. Like it's just my dream come true. So anyway, I ate my breakfast. Faith is about to be here and then we're going to go into podcast planning and then we have a bunch of meetings and then we'll get on with other stuff. Guys, surprise, surprise, we are doing a Brook Miccio, friend of mine, collaboration. We're working on this for months now because it Brooke became a needle pointer and I was like, "Girl, we need to get you a needle point collection." So, I'm going to take you guys through. You all might have seen this on Instagram by now. I'm not quite sure, but on September 17th it's launching and I'm not sure if the event tickets have gone live at this point at all, but we are doing a Cinema Stitch Club event in Dallas with Brooke on the 14th. If you guys are in Dallas, I cannot recommend the Cinema Stitch Club events enough. Like, first off, they're so nice. Second, it's so fun. Like, you go and you stitch in a in a movie theater. It's amazing. Anyway, that's one of the collections that we are shooting this week and I wanted to take you guys through all of this because once I shoot this, these are going to Brooke. So, this is our hero. This is obviously our most intimidating canvas. It's an 18 mesh 10 by 10. I just think it's so fun. Would make for such a fun pillow, frame, whatever you want. I know so many of y'all are 10 by 10 18 mesh girls, too, and it's just perfect. Like, I am really just in love with this one. I deserve a little treat. This is a 13 mesh. Would be a great for a pillow or as like a frame. Red panic, if you know, you know. This is very Brooke. Um, and I just think it's so fun. I almost want to make this one into a pillow. I really have been kind of loving like a 13 mesh pillow lately cuz it's quick and obviously I'm in the midst of like this whole thing. They're not supposed to be situated like this. It's cuz people have been sitting there. Anyway, this one, okay, so this, a lot of this is like candy and treat inspired. If you guys haven't yet, I mean, maybe you haven't, but anyway, I love these little candies and I think this is a fun spin on all the like fish that you guys have been seeing in needle point and just like that has been trending anyway. I actually just finished. I'm not done. I need to do the background. I finished a fish a while ago and I forgot about it. It's been sitting in my hatch and then I was like, "Oh, I need to finish that." So, anyway, I think this is like a fun almost like pop art esque way of a little take on that trend and I think it'd be really fun with was decorative stitch in the background. I would make this a pillow. I know probably a lot of people will frame it. We have a cute little pickle lover. These are all Brook Inspired blocked. If you know Brook, I also think this is would be really fun as like not even necessarily a stand-up. I mean it would be fun as a stand-up. I want this to finish into like a phone. You know what I mean? For my desk. Okay, this one is a candy bowl. I picture this with like a ton of different fibers like velvets. Basically any sort of different texture that you could actually get like period for every single color. So it's giving every single piece of candy like something else and I just think it'd be like really interesting and fun. And I'm just kind of obsessed with this one. I love this. And then we have these which I think are so fun with the fun little decorative stitch. You could frame, you could do a pillow, you can do whatever you want. This is a perfect ornament. Same thing goes for this one. I mean you can make anything into anything. And then I deserve a little tree I think is so cute. So anyway, oh I don't think I've shown you guys the tote bag or the needle minders yet. But we have this tote bag which is fun for your projects. I love it with this little ice cream cone and then it's Brook Machiao x Friend of Mine. And then if you guys want matching needle minders for your canvases, I love a matching needle minder for my canvases. We have an ice cream cone, we have the pickle lover, we have the red panic, we have the cupcake. We also have I deserve a little treat and then the candy bowl. But anyway, I'm really so excited about this. I need to pack this up for just a packing actual suitcase. Um we're going to shoot this on Friday. We've already shot like the e-commerce stuff, but Brook and I are shooting together on Friday which I just cannot wait for it guys. Like this is so perfect. Our needle point collaborations, you guys are going to literally die at what we have on deck for 2027. Like if you think of my dream brand, like you'll be like there's no way. Like it's crazy. So anyway, um we need to hop on calls, but I wanted to show you guys that before I packed up and I can't believe it's happening so soon. I feel like this has been like like the works for so long and now it's happening. Like hi. How are you? >> So good Edie. Your engagement photos I I don't know why you might have seen them over the weekend or yesterday. They're so cute. >> Thank you. >> All good. The rest of the team should be joining shortly. >> Morning. >> Getting ready to leave for New York, Kenzie? >> Yeah. >> I think we have everybody. We can go ahead and jump into things. >> Guys, just got out of meetings. I'm actually not okay because they just announced that Dolly Parton died. I literally can't even talk about it. My phone is blowing up in a way that you could have never expected. Thousands of DMs. Like I >> [sighs] >> I'm like devastated. I can't even talk about it. So anyway, I need to finish packing and prepping for this shoot. And then just like I don't know. I'm like actually devastated. Like I seriously Dolly was supposed to live to 105 years old. Like she was only 80. This was not supposed to happen. Like I I'm unwell. So anyway, I'm going to get some things together. I don't know. Who cares? Literally who cares what I'm doing? No one cares. >> [music] [music] >> All right, guys. I have stuff for the shoot here. This is my New York stuff. That's my Connecticut stuff for the shoot. So many pairs of shoes, so many things. I also have dinners, meetings, all that stuff. So hopefully we're good to go. I also have clothes that I overnighted to the hotel that will be there tomorrow. So, hoping this is good. Good morning, guys. It's Wednesday morning. The vlog has really taken a turn for the worse. I was telling them about Dolly. Obviously they all know at this point, but I'm going to be in a good mood and we're going to have a good time. It's crazy because between Hayden Panettiere and Dolly Parton who are like my two two of my favorite whatever, I've like never been so affected. Of course, obviously with Dolly, like I know she was 80, but like I truly thought she was going to live to be 105 and this is actually something I thought about a lot. And I just like cannot believe it. Like I cannot believe it. Anyways, I'm not talking about it in the vlog anymore because we're going to have a positive day, but I know that so many of you guys are also fellow Dolly fans. Of course, like Dolly, our chicken, my friend of mine is named after Dolly Parton. If you guys haven't listened to Why do I always forget the name of the podcast? Like Dolly Parton's America? I want to say it's Dolly Parton's America. It's something like that. I I think it's like a 10-part series. I listened to it. I listened to it a couple times, but it was years ago cuz I remember I was in my town house then. The best podcast episode and it's like telling you all about Dolly. Dolly isn't just like a country singer. I've always wanted I think I [laughter] have done a full solo podcast on Dolly. If not, I like need to. But I have always just like loved loved loved loved loved Dolly Parton. And then as I got older and like learned more about what she's actually done, like with the Imagination Library, it's so incredible which that is this like foundation that she has or whatever nonprofit or I don't even know the structure. But basically, the story goes that from her hometown, and I'm going to mess up the stats and I really need to leave for my workout, but I need to tell you guys the story because it's like my favorite thing I've ever heard. Like I want to do something like I don't know, it's so inspiring. But basically, in her hometown, like her dad like could never read or write. And in her hometown, she went back after she like made it big or like had her first, you know, whatever big thing, and she went back wanting to create a scholarship for someone from her high school, [music] and at that point she realized that the dropout rate was like, I don't know, let's say like over 50%. It was like something insane. She realized that it was because the difference was was people who grew up with their kid their parents reading to them, people who didn't like when they went to school and they could learn how to read. And I'm assuming a lot of those parents like probably didn't know how to read if Dolly's parents their dad also couldn't know how to could read. God, I cannot speak. I need to tell you guys this in the car. What time is it? Okay, I've got to go. I'm telling you guys this in the car. But basically, she realized that the dropout rate was pretty high, and that was because a lot of kids went to school without knowing how to read. I'm going to blow out after this. I'm bringing my Kindle. I'm reading The Climate Club, so good. So you can get books. And that was basically if your parents like grew up reading to you or not, and a lot of them like Dolly just read just grew up with her mom reading the Bible to her all the time. And so like that was kind of like the difference. Okay, so back to my story. Don't worry. The camera's just sitting here and I'm driving. Dolly grew up very poor amongst a ton of siblings. Her dad didn't know how to read. I don't or write. So, um when she makes it big and she comes back wanting to do some sort of music scholarship for her high school, she realizes that the dropout rate is very very very high. So, when that happens, she is trying to solve that problem and she realizes that it really was the difference of like coming to school knowing how to read and knowing and or not knowing how to read. And basically from that point on, this is obviously all about like access and poverty. Like this isn't like they made the decision themselves, but I think that she from what I remember in her speaking, I feel like those kids had maybe like counted themselves out and just felt too far behind or maybe they weren't able to catch up because there was just such a difference. And again, it was like kids whose parents typically grew up reading them the Bible and didn't. And that's how Dolly knew how to read. So, um another aspect of that is that because Dolly grew up very poor, she was kind of used to people like dropping off like food and things at her house from like church and everything like that. And she didn't like how that made her feel. She felt kind of like embarrassed. She was a child. You know, like she was a kid. So, she just like felt embarrassed about the whole situation. So, she focused on like helping the literacy of younger children. Long story short, she ended up being able to like close the gap on the dropouts of her high school, which is like amazing. Like the dropout rate went like way, way, way, way lower. And then she did her scholarship. So, with imaginary library, she gives a book to a kid every single month under the age of five like with this foundation. And what's really cool about it is one, she's obviously like giving accessibility to books and reading. And two, she's not like spotlighting any children or making any kids like feel like weird. Not that that should ever make you feel weird, but because she had that insecurity growing up, she wanted like every kid around her to get it. So, it wasn't like some sort of like obvious thing. And it's just like really amazing what she's been able to do. Like I just I just love her. And even I know I said I wasn't going to stop talking about it, but I just think like the good of Dolly Parton is just like unbelievable. I just think that the way Dolly Parton lived her life and how funny she was and how giving and generous she was and how cool she was. She donated over 500 million dollars to so many different like charities, which is just amazing. Like I just think like what she was able to do and what she did with her platform is so beautiful. And I think her as a person everyone's like, "Oh, she's the only person who's liked in all these different areas." And like the thing about that is like Dolly's like goal was never to be liked by everyone. Like Dolly was just herself. Like she knew that like her look wasn't going to be liked by everyone. She like And she was in on all the jokes. When she's like, "You know, they always call me a dumb blonde, but I know I'm not dumb and I know I'm not blonde." Like she just didn't take anything too seriously. And I like everything about her to me is so inspiring. The way she treated people, her perspectives. She got up every morning at 3:00 a.m. and read her Bible, which is like insane. I'm like, "Wow, good for you. I I wish I could do anything at getting up at 3:00 a.m." Like, wow. But, I just think that And she also like she obviously had like such a strong faith and such strong beliefs, but like didn't push it on anyone. Like, really just like lived them out. Like, I just love her. Like, she is amazing. Was amazing. Like, I cannot believe I cannot believe it. I knew this day would come, and I had thought about it a lot, but again, I thought she was going to live to 105. Dolly Parton was not supposed to die at 80. Like, she's immortal. Like, that is not what was supposed to happen. So. Anyway, I do think it's like a really beautiful thing though, because at the end of the day, it's kind of like what else was she going to do? Like, Carl, her husband, had passed away last year, which obviously is like been very hard on her. I think with her health problems, she said that she didn't even like she wasn't taking care of herself cuz she was taking care of Carl, and she missed some things with herself, but and now, unfortunately, she's passed away. But, also at the end of the day, like no one lived a more full life than Dolly. Like, maybe she shouldn't need 105 years on this earth. Like, she did it all. So, anyway. I'm very sad, but it's also like so cool to even have been on like this earth while she was on this earth. And also, one experience that I had that I'm like so so so grateful for, uh a couple of years ago, I got to go I did like vlog this, so it's on YouTube somewhere, but I got an email. This is when the ACMs were happening in Dallas. I got an email like the day before, maybe maybe 2 days before, inviting me to a press conference of Dolly Parton's. And she was having this like big Dolly pop-up at the Star, which is where they host the ACMs. So, the ACMs are country music awards, and they were in Dallas this year. And you basically got to go, and it's like kind of part Dolly museum, part pop-up, cuz she obviously had so many different business ventures. So, it's like all of her business ventures in one. Like, it's the books, it's the baking, it's the dog stuff, it's the like literally every single thing. Like, CDs, vinyls, all this stuff. Merch, like every single vertical. And then you got to go upstairs. And I think it was just like 30 or 40 of us who got to go up upstairs to her press conference. So, you're in a room of like very little people with Dolly Parton just answering questions. And it was so cool to see her and just like literally be in the same room as her. Like, it was just the coolest thing and I'm so grateful for that experience, especially now. And I knew that then. I was like, "God, this is like so cool. I'm so grateful." But like, it's seriously so cool. So, anyway, I'm moving on from my Dolly talk and I'll stop being depressing, but I do want to talk about good things about Dolly because I just I love that woman, obviously. She's been like my idol forever and I just I'm obsessed with her. So, anyway, uh my mom and I went to my workout. It's like 7:20 and then I have to get a blowout today and then I'm going to uh go home and need to take some calls. And then I'm speaking on a panel for LTK and then we're flying to New York directly after that. And then it is off to the races with everything else. So, anyways. What a sad, sad day. Love you, Dolly, forever. Just finished a ton of packing. Got my hair blown out after my workout. And we have a meeting in like 2 minutes. I have hard-boiled eggs for my breakfast. I actually need to make myself a breakfast, but I love a hard-boiled egg. We [snorts] have a production call finalizing some stuff. It's just like a weekly call. I'm going to film a needlepoint state of the union. And then we are off to LTK and then to the airport. I do just have to say, the decision to get an iPad is one of my best decisions that I've made so far this year. And that's coming from someone who like got engaged. Like, this is the best thing. Also, I have so much stuff for my needlepoint state of the union. It's insane. Good morning. >> Hi. >> Morning. >> I've been just sharing just the things we've working on. Is it all done? >> Perfect. [music] I have like 5 minutes until we need to leave for everything tonight and I need to be packed up but of course I'm instead filming a needlepoint state of the union for y'all. I'm going to go things through things quick. I've done a ton. I did more background here. I accidentally went over the water cuz I just like was not thinking. It's also variegated so I think that like that's why cuz I was like oh this matches but it's because I was in the variegated thread. Anyway, so I did a little bit of the sky. So much of this I've really like just done so much. I really want to bring this with me when I travel but the problem is that it's just so hard to bring and I have other small projects that I can get done that I need to kind of whip up for a friend of mine. So it's fine. Um I needed some pallet cleanser products over the weekend cuz I've been working on that big one. Stitch an angel, stitch a queen, stitch queen. I've had this forever, haven't stitched it. This Kiss the Cook is going to be a magnet. So I have that stuff kitted. And then I have a couple other projects from a friend of mine like our future dolly of the months and stuff that I'm going to be filming not filming. I'm going to be well, maybe I'll be filming but I'm going to be stitching and then I What else? Finally finished the birthday dolly. I just had the orange left. I think that's like it. I still need some backgrounds. I did go in. I forgot to say this and do like the remainder of this with most of the white. I do have a little bit more that I missed. I need to do backgrounds on these for ornaments. I realized that like I'm doing a needlepoint Christmas tree this year and like I don't have enough needlepoint ornaments. I think I only have like 20 but I'm going to do a skinny one so I think it'll be fine but it's not like everything that I want, you know? I also remember that I stitched this and I just has been in my hutch and I totally forgot about it so I need to do the background. That's going to be a a That won't take me much longer to do. I did buy the background in the fabric. Uh Um I have my door hanger, the Dolly's Garden door hanger. Obsessed. She goes out to the garden. She's perfect. I've already shown y'all on YouTube, I'm pretty sure, my new pillows. I'm obsessed with them. I'm not going to go into them cuz I feel like I've shown you guys. Um and then I have like all of these. Some of them I still need to do the invisible thread on. Some of them are done. Martha's finally done. I just didn't do the invisible thread. It literally takes 20 minutes, but I just hate invisible thread, so that's why. This one, Grandma Dolly, probably my best finish. Love. Um me and Chuck E. Dolly, same thing, ornaments. Dallas Dolly, probably my favorite of the Dolly's actually. I love the background stitch. That green is pear from I think it's Vineyard Silk. Anyway, love that one. I have my strawberry Dolly of the month on an ornament. I finally finished stitching that one, too. My Granny A Dolly, my worst one, but I need to do a different background for this, and then I can fix it eventually. Um this one was the one that I finished. These two were gifts, and then I just like finished them. And I think that's like pretty much it. I've been stitching a lot. I know I say that all the time, but especially with like being like on vacation this month, I got a ton done, and then I was just like on a roll to get the rest of it done. So, I'm only stitching like smaller projects while I'm traveling cuz this is just too hard to bring and travel with. We have so many like photo shoot samples and stuff. And then I'm sure once I'm done, I will like lock into the Nantucket one cuz I want to finish it like sooner rather than later. Really desperately because we have other ones for like fall and winter that I really want to do. Anyway, loving these. Um they're perfect. A door hanger is the easiest thing in the world to finish if you have a ruffle. If you don't make it yourself, I don't know how to make a ruffle. My grandma makes them cuz you just like glue two cookies together, basically. Like I thread them together, and then I glue it all together, and it takes me literally an hour. It's the best thing ever. The other ones though, ornaments and cording, it's a It's not like I don't hate it. It's not the worst thing in the world. I have to like burn myself out of stitching and then I'll want to finish and then I'll burn myself out of finishing and then I'll want to stitch, whatever. But I don't like love it, especially with the cording. But we made all the cording at once, so it was like fine. Anyway, I need to go because we have to leave in 5 minutes and I haven't changed, so I'll be back. >> [music] [singing] [music] >> Good morning from New York City. I just put on my little Medicube mask. We got in last night I think at like 12:30. It was late especially for me. It's now 7:30. I just woke up and I'm doing this little face mask hopefully to depuff. I have all my outfits laid out. I did unpack a little bit last night, so I'm pretty good to go. Um today I have a podcast recording. I've two interviews that I'm doing and then we are shooting the Brooke Miccio collab with friend of mine, which I'm really excited for. I'm just excited to see Brooke. And that is the plan. I've also I've like loving cozy lounge pajamas. I have collected so many recently. I also been getting given some as gifts because I literally live in them. Like I've been wearing them non-stop. They're really good for summer cuz they're super lightweight. I for the first time ever this summer was like I wear long pajamas and like long sleeves. I'm going to feel I just felt like claustrophobic and like I won't be able to my whole life even if it's like 110ยฐ out and we're like massive [snorts] pajamas anyway. These are just the best. They're so good. But I really like the medicube mask. Now that I'm talking, obviously it's becoming a little bit of a mess, but it's such a good face mask. Guys, I love my outfit. Is it going to look good on camera sitting down? Probably not. But okay, you guys can't even really see the full thing. Let me see if I can set this up a little better. How fun. And then these studs. I also got a blowout yesterday, but my hair feels like very very flat. Anyway, it's the episode for our like first week of fall and I'm recording it with Gilmore to say. If you guys don't listen to Gilmore to say, it's such a good podcast. Here, I'm going to say Hera. Haley and Hera. I guess that's their like couple name. And they're not a couple, but you know what I mean. Like their ship name. Anyway, Haley and Hera are the best. I love them. I did their podcast for Gilmore to say. It's like a Gilmore Girls rewatch podcast, but they do like a bunch of books and like it's just like the ultimate cover podcast. If you like this channel and you like Gilmore Girls, you would love their show. But they're just like great. We've just become like fast friends. Like they they're like stitchers. Like we just like have so much in common. So today's actually my first time meeting them. I'm personally I actually talked to them like a lot. So I'm really really excited. And I'm happy it's my first thing of being in New York this week cuz it's just going to put me in like the best mood. It's also going to rain. It was raining earlier this morning. It's supposed to rain today. And my interviews are both supposed to be outside. So I don't know how that's going to work. And then it's going to be pouring during our Brooke collab shoot, but we did get permission to shoot in the candy shop. So we're going to like shoot inside. It's supposed to be like an hour and a half. I think we're going to not get as many shots as we thought, but it'll be okay. So anyways, just like rolling with the punches and whatever. But, this shirt, guys, like is this not so good? It's Old Free People and these jeans are Mother. And I just am obsessed. >> [music] >> Guys, we're in the studio and we just got the new like recyclable water I'm seeing everywhere, LuLu Lemon. Apparently, it's like the best water ever. I guess I'll be the judge of this. >> With cold brew, that's so interesting. >> I think it's acidic. Oh, it's good. I'll be honest. But, it's like water. >> Yeah. It's water. >> It is just water. >> I think what I like is the bottle. >> It's a nice glass bottle. >> I like the glass bottle. Just had the best time with Haley and Tara. Go where to say as I knew I would. It's actually about to start downpouring in New York. I was walking back and like oh wait, like feels like there's like already rain in the air. Anyway, I am going to an interview with Better Homes and Garden and then I think my second one's definitely going to get canceled. And then tonight we have a photo shoot with Brooke. So, anyway, this is what I'm wearing. Reformation top. These are actually Reformation shorts. Then like my Margo shoes, Chanel bag. And we're off. All right, guys. I had the best time just recording this interview, but I wasn't filming cuz they were filming and it was raining and it was kind of hectic in Madison Square Park, but it was like out of a movie. Like it was raining and I was filming with an umbrella and it just felt like I was literally in a movie. Now, I'm in SoHo walking around a little bit. I have another interview in 30. >> [music] >> Another outfit change. We are off to shoot Brooke's collab. This top I got from Zara and it's actually like the cutest thing ever. It works in Charleston and I'm just obsessed with the like detailing and stuff. So nice. My favorite denim shorts from Abercrombie. Cannot recommend these enough. My normal just flats, normal bag. And we are off. Perfect. Guys, look who I'm reunited with. We just had like a little photo shoot. We were getting our Brooke's hero shot really quick. Yeah, we're on set. It's the big leagues. I know, it's her first time. It's been a secret for a very long time. I know, I wish I could have video showing you. I wish just like once I saw Brooke and I wanted to get video shots and I feel like it's kind of rude whenever I get video shots in front of the photographer. The photographer wasn't there. I was like, "You have to get some really quickly." So it just was kind of a bit rushed on my end, but I had the good vision and I had the I had the Brooke, Brooke, Brooke, Brooke, Brooke. Yeah, see that's the thing. That's my dream is that I've always said like Brooke has a true comedy career coming and I've always wanted to be her agent. This is like the next best thing. This is what I said to Danielle earlier. I'm like, "This is like my dream job." So we just did a Tik Tok. That's good. Literally, they're like so they have like two jobs. So it's like perfect. I know, it is perfect. >> Look at us, engaged girls. We're all grown [music] up. It's so crazy. I know we really are. Good morning, y'all, from New York. I'm wearing the world's biggest under-eye patches. This is a little one. 7:30, I'm walking to get a blowout. This is so ridiculous, getting two in one week, I know, but it rained yesterday and it kind of ruined my hair and we have events all weekend and a shoot on Sunday and I didn't do my hair at all because I thought I could just like walk around for the week. Anyway, no one cares first of all, but so we're on our way. I got my Drybar membership. I've had it for like a long time. I've been a Drybar apologist, guys, since like probably like 15 or 16. I've had the membership that long, but like I've been a Drybar girl. Anyway, I'm off right now. Um the last day of our cooking shoot and then I just got some more work done. Today is like my dream day because we are shooting a new YouTube series that I'm starting called The Crawl that basically is just for all my like serial hobbies. So, we're going to go to like different cities. It'll be topical, so it'll be like today is like best needlepoint stores in New York City. I'm shooting another one on Monday that's like the best cookbook stores in New York City. Of course, we'll go to like Round Top. I'll do a bunch of Dallas like needlepoint. It's going to be like needlepointing and antiques like any sort of like hobby thing like that. It'll be really cool. Um antique Saying the over and over again, but we're going to do like garden stores, cookbook stores everywhere. Like any sort of thing for the serial hobbyist, you know? So, anyway, um basically it's just an excuse to do a whole bunch of LNSs and then tonight we have our like become event at Pennyland and tomorrow is business of the stock. So, oh, I got this jacket yesterday at Abercrombie. It's very clearly an off-off-white and a different lighter one. I really, really want that one. It's been sold out for like light beige one. I forget. It's like a plaid, but it seems like it's reversible and it looks like it's the cutest jacket ever. And we're going to Ireland and where else are we going? What are my Oh, yeah, the Cotswolds. That's like little dream trip. And it was kind of just blah, but anyways, but I'm stuck. I walked in Abercrombie yesterday cuz they had like 10 minute break and I found that in the way. Basically, they're like my favorite colors. It's very like Harrison coded, but anyway. Testing, testing. I'm testing my new mic, guys. I'm so fancy. Hopefully, this works. I guess we'll see. Guys, also, we're about to leave this hotel room, but Charlie got me these flowers yesterday and put them on the cup. Cutest thing ever. I got my blowout. I'm wearing my new jacket. We are heading out. We're going to go, lucky for me, to a bunch of needlepoint stores. Get needlepoint stores. So, we'll add in some clips and stuff, uh, but the full video will be out on YouTube in a couple of weeks. What other things should I do for this series, guys? Let me know. We're in the middle of filming the crawl. We've done two out of four stores. So, we did Annie's and then we went to Rita's and then next we're going to West Village and then the new Penny Lane store. I was joking to Charlie cuz like I used to meet y'all like out at the bar like mid jello shot or whatever we were drinking, whatever god awful drink was, you know, going running through my veins at that time. And it's so funny because now every single like needlepoint store I'm at, I meet you guys. And I just had such a fun fabulous morning. Um, you know, I love my moms that follow me, too. Like special shout out to the moms. I don't I don't give you guys enough credit cuz like when I get a DM from a mom who's following me, I'm like, "Wow, like I'm doing something right." And then at Rita's, it was just so fun. It was just like, "Oh my god, I made so many new friends." So, anyway, we are off. I'm so hungry. I need food. Stop, but I've just been busy, busy, busy needlepoint store after needlepoint store after needlepoint store. But anyway, if you guys have any other requests for my new series of like things that I should go do, I need to go to Round Top. I've never been, which is insane. Um but we need to do like antique stores. I want to do one almost like one on downtown McKinney as a whole like the Stars Hollow of Texas cuz the problem is I want to do them like city and then also like specifically the topic. But also if like I'm in New Orleans for a weekend, I would rather show you guys like all the cool stores I went to in New Orleans. You know what I mean? So, anyway, it's just amazing. I don't know what I'm trying to say here. My eyeliner is like too dark and I'm so hungry that I'm kind of just like losing it. Welcome to episode one of The Crawl. >> [music] [music] >> We made it to Connecticut. I'm wearing the same top I wore yesterday for my interviews for my formation. I actually got it as in a bridal moment, but I think it's really cute. Abercrombie jeans, Sam Edelman kitten heels, and a little black bag, and we are off. I'm like hosting the event, so I probably won't vlog too much tonight. It's going to be a little like preview sip and shop and then we're doing like a live Q&A moment thing. It'll be fun. >> [music] [music] >> Guys, I just got the most incredible [music] custom canvas. Take us through your thought process. Here we go. It's so cute. >> So yeah, so and she loves It's so perfect. So cute. This is over. Thank you. Hi girls. Look what she's kidding. And what? A beautiful, beautiful breath for that. So cute. Wait, also, oh my god, I'm obsessed. That is so pretty. It's amazing. >> [music] >> Good morning, y'all. It is Stitch Tour day. So, last night was so fun. We did a Q&A with the man of Penny Lane. I got to meet so many of you guys, and today is the big day. It's 7:45 right now. I'm actually about to go grab breakfast with my girls, Haley and Tara from Gilmore to say that I talked about earlier. They're literally the best people ever, and they like made a weekend out of this, and they're coming to the event. So, I was like, let's get breakfast. This is what I'm wearing today. I got this dress for my graduation, and I'm just like obsessed. It's so me, and just so perfect. Oh my god. Everything I feel like I was saying this to someone actually a couple people yesterday. This is what I've realized as I've gotten older. Of course, like graduation pieces are not like the least expensive by any means, but as I was doing like closet clean outs, it's the only pieces that I would never ever ever ever ever ever ever like sell or donate or whatever, because they just fit the best, they last the best, like they're just so worth the money, because I end It's just like investing in quality pieces. That's part of like getting older. So, like I would rather buy like way less and have it, but this thing like I will have forever. Long story short to say, it's from our formation, so I'll keep it forever, okay? Oh, guys, okay, I need to show you I don't even know where the canvases are that I got gifted. Let me see if they're in here. Okay, I will do this when I get home. I like I have did like the sweetest canvases actually you guys already saw. We'll talk about it soon. And then, Coco Creates, my girl. If you guys are looking for finishing, actually she does mahjong lessons, too. I didn't even know. Needlepoint finishing, needlepoint lessons, mahjong lessons. Her Instagram is @cocreates99. She's finished another ornament for me before. It was like a 3D ornament, so I can't do that. And this is a fridge magnet. I did not feel like doing an irregular-shaped magnet. Um so, she did this for me. How perfect is this? So cute. It's right here in the Wallace collection. I love how this turned out. And she gave me an extra magnet, too. Like, the actual magnet is in this if I want to put on the fridge, but if I want to attach it to like a tote bag or something, you could do that, which I think is like a fun display. I like that better than a bag charm, actually. So, anyway, so cute. We are about to head out. Guys, I didn't use eye patches this morning, and like those things are not boosting well. I was rolling my face out like so much this morning, so puffy. And I didn't have time for eye patches, and like it shows, okay? Anyway, this like these Starbucks vanilla iced coffee things that are probably like I don't know, the worst thing ever for you, who cares. Whenever I'm traveling or like if I just get like a sudden craving, like these are it, okay? Ah, they taste so good. I can't wait to show you guys the gifts that I got. We'll We'll do that when we get back. Also, I haven't gone Our office hasn't moved over, so I've been getting pictures. I'm so excited. When I come back, we have an office. Like, ah, this is truly like my dream week, honestly. We're heading off to the last stop of Stitch Tour. How are you feeling? What was your high? What was your low? >> I mean, honestly, everything has been amazing. So, like, last night we did the Q&A. That was really cool to watch. I liked everybody at the shop. It was so fun just getting to hang out with everybody. >> I thought for sure you would say the chicken costume. >> Oh, the whole entire thing? >> Yeah, like your high and low. >> The chicken costume, but I didn't know if that counted. I thought you meant like this trip. >> Next time we do some sort of something we'll get you like a custom Dolly Parton or something. It's so crazy. I think people think that I like have to beg you to do this stuff. >> been in a hot dog costume and I wouldn't care. >> I could be a giant hot dog and I >> cuts. I think that people think that I like have to trick Charlie into doing things or like beg him or like how do you get him to do that? I'm like very easily. Yeah, I was like actually I had literally once we got to the end of that I was like we're done. But I asked the way it started I got this idea like a week before and as a I said to him >> Butter yellow house, butter yellow butter. >> It's perfect, love. I said to him I wasn't even finished asking my question. Like would you dress up as a chicken? >> Yeah. >> Didn't even ask what to dress up as. Didn't ask like anything, guys. That's why you don't settle, okay? But yeah, so my high has been that. My low has been I don't really have a low. >> My low's been leaving the house. >> Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Actually that was my low too. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Having to leave the house, but other than that we went to like all cities that we love. >> We like I get that we couldn't do it at your house, but like that would have been >> It would It would logistically it wouldn't work, but that would have been like maybe your high. I wish we had more of an audience in New Orleans because New Orleans is a beautiful city in America. That would be so I mean I don't know if we do. >> You know for like 30 bucks a day you can make your own parade. We could have made our own parade. >> Yeah, we could have done a friend of mine parade. Wait. >> We could do a freeze escort. We got to do that next time. >> fun. I love New Orleans. >> [music] >> We're here. I'm doing some shopping for I'm kidding another canvas, but this is like a little Easter basket. That's my favorite thing about an L and I last night before the event. I just walk around and see all the different finished projects. Like let me show you guys this one that I love that I'm using as my inspo for the date forever canvas. Like I need to do this. How cute is that? I'm obsessed. So I'm going to make it work. All right guys, we're midway through the day. It's actually like 4:00 p.m. Haven't filmed much at all. We got lunch with my Charlie's family. And we're back. We went to Arden's, had some milk coffee. It's been so fun today. It's really the cutest store ever. Good morning, y'all. It is 5:45 in the next morning. Tour was amazing. Yesterday was so fun. The girls in Connecticut were amazing. So many people like road tripped in or flew in or whatever. It was just like the nicest way to end off tour and I need to show you guys like what I did with the canvas last night because last night whenever we got back it was like I needed to sit in silence for 6 hours and you know what? And that is what we did. So, um okay, is this trash? We have a car picking us up right now because we are going to a big shoot for our like biggest launch yet that Haley our creative director has been setting up for the past week basically and she's been sending me photos and it looks so sick. So anyway, we are off to that very very soon. I can tell our driver is like about to be here. So we need to hop downstairs, but it's early but I'm like so excited. Also, I'm trying the MediCube eye mask right now. Love. >> [music] [music] >> This is [music] by far the best shoot I've like ever been a part of. Haley killed this. Like, she transformed. It's insane. It's 9:15 p.m. and I am back in the city now after very long shoot day. That was by far our best shoot yet. I cannot wait for you guys to see. This isn't coming out until like October, but it is so good. Anyway, I need to charge this camera because we're shooting another installment of the crawl tomorrow. I have a work coffee. Tomorrow is the most chill day of the week. I have a Did I put this on backwards? Yes, I did. Um I have a work coffee in the morning and then we're shooting with Chrissy all day, which I'm so excited about. And then tomorrow night I have a very exciting work dinner. So, I need to get on this and charge some things. I just unpacked for like the 50th time this week. And we're off. Also, I cannot believe that we are done with Stitch Tour. I haven't really been able to check in just yet. I wanted to I'll show you guys like the canvases that I worked on soon because I stitched the entire day forever canvas last night cuz I just needed to like sit in silence for 6 hours and stitch. And I you just sat and stitched and it was small, so I like went through it really quickly. But, anyway, I'm going to get in bed, read my book, and just relax. Happy Monday, y'all. I'm currently getting ready. I'm about to go to that little coffee meeting. It's with people that we work with, though, so it's like actually very casual. It's not even a meeting, we're just like getting coffee cuz these are people I actually haven't met in real life, which is crazy. I was editing a little recap video this morning of the Stitch Tour, and I'm like, wait, I'm actually emotional. I literally cannot believe how many of y'all came out. Like, when I had this idea, I think it was like last year that this all Yeah, it would have been last year cuz we were launching in the spring. So, we started working on this probably this time last year. When I had that original idea, or not I mean [laughter] I don't mean original like original like I invented it. I mean like the original idea when I originally had it in my head. Do you know what I'm saying? Anyway, um when I had that idea, I just could have never imagined it would have become what it became. I'm so grateful to y'all. Seriously, it is insane. So, anyway, I'm not going to do any makeup right now because I'm going to do it later when I get back. I honestly need to roll out my face and I need to put this on. Guys, this moisturizer, I know I talk about it all the time. It's the best moisturizer ever, especially for skin prep for your makeup. I like Oh my god, it's unbelievable. Firming, lifting. There's nothing better for skin prep. It was in makeup by Kelly Ann Rupp too. Like, that's how you know that it's a really really good. So, anyway, just going to kind of roll out my face a little, put a little bit of blush on, a lip liner, brush out my brows, and then it looks like you put in way more effort, but anyway, it's just been insane. I can't believe it's over. It's really occupied so much of our time, but the drops that we have for the rest of this year are just so good. I got some of the slots of the previews last night. Um and the photos are insane. Like I'm so so excited. We also have obviously I was about to be like okay exciting collab. Like it was literally in this vlog. Um the Brooke launch is happening mid-September, which is really exciting and then we have quite literally my dream brand. Like when you think of my dream brand, like we have like it it's like the most insane thing that's ever happened to me. So, anyway, we obviously are always going to do needlepoint. Like that is like my number one passion in life and it's like what you guys are the most excited about with Friend of Mine, but we have a ton of other like we're staying at the home and hobby brand. This summer has just been very like needlepoint heavy obviously with the tour and just the drops and such, but we are doing a ton of other stuff. Like we're still going into home. I want to do wallpaper. I want to do bedding. Like there's so many things, which is really truly the beginning of Friend of Mine cuz if you guys don't know, my mom and my grandma had a bedding and drapery company together. So, that was like the shop that I grew up in on like downtown McKinney like my downtown hometown square, which is like obviously kind of what ended up leading me in this direction as I've gotten older. So, that would just be like very full circle. I'm obviously I'm not doing it because it's full circle. I mean obviously inspired by them, but I'm just saying like I just really want us to do it and I have so many ideas for both needlepointers and non-needlepointers for the rest of the year. I think you guys are going to love what we have coming. The road pocket watches are seriously so good. I wish I could have someone just like come to my house and teach me like how to do the best makeup for my face because I really need to get better at it. So, we're going to Hotel Chelsea, which is really close to where I'm staying right now. If you guys have I need a new hotel in Chelsea to stay at like every time here. Now that your media has like our own New York studios, which is very exciting. I need to find my new hotel that I stay at every time I'm here. I always like to be next to the studio cuz that's typically like what I'm doing the most and then also on top of that I mean it's just easy for like outfit changes and whatever. So also Chelsea is like a great location anyway. Okay, on to outfit number two of the day to go film this video. New striped tee we have SVO on obviously. New striped tee from Reformation. This coat is also Reformation. It's definitely more like bridal, but I just thought it was cute in a cool way to like dress up this outfit. Abercrombie denim flats and then my hair I just curled it really quickly. I don't have any hair oil so it's looking a little bit like dry, but it is what it is. So we are off to film with Chrissy. I'm so excited to see her. It's going to be the best day ever. Chrissy's trying on the ring. It looks so Congrats guys. Everyone >> [laughter] >> Today we are still in New York City and I'm here with one of my favorite people in the entire world Chrissy. >> Hello. >> I wanted to do a little New York City cookbook store little crawl and I was like who better? >> [music] [music] >> All right y'all, we're back. I'm just filming on my camera or my phone I guess. We are back from filming with Chrissy. It was the best day and this video is going to be so good and also like very informative. And now we're off to a really exciting dinner. Okay, with some people and then um tomorrow is like their last day and we're flying home. I feel like this has been the craziest week, but it's been very productive, gotten a lot of stuff done, and I really love this jacket that I got. Like this is >> jacket. >> It needs to be steamed again. I've been wearing it all day in the New York heat, but I love it and this t-shirt. Like there's something about like the perfect like boxy little like shirts. Sorry to the like toilet back guys, but like little boxy tee. Just I love this. Happy Tuesday. Lizzie McGuire, you are an outfit repeater. I'm wearing the dress that I wore to the event for this recording because I'm recording with Barbara Bradley. Bradley. All right. As of Vera Bradley. As of co-founder of Vera Bradley. As in Vera Bradley is her mother and they named the company after her. So anyway, it's very iconic. She's also 83, so you guys know like I want anyone over the age of 70 on the show. So when they emailed me like months ago, I was like, "This I will move to the ends of the earth to make this one happen." So anyway, I figured Barbara would like this dress. So I'm wearing this and then I'm just wearing my flats. I just packed up because we're leaving to go straight to the airport from the recording. I'm at Your Media for a couple of hours this morning and then we are off to go home and I need to get so much done. This week has just made me like I know the lighting is not good, of course, when I'm having a sentimental shower. I'm talking about the lighting. Actually looks horrible. I can't do this. Okay. This week, in all seriousness, has just made me like so grateful for my life. I feel like I was talking like Charlie and I have been talking about this a lot because I'm like it just so many things that I've been working for literally since I was 15 years old I feel like are really coming to fruition and a lot of it is like happening all at once and like I was never someone who like went viral overnight or like popped off really quickly or anything like that and I just feel so grateful because I feel like everything that I've been like working towards and wanting and these like big massive dreams are like so much closer than I think even or like that I feel. Like I don't know, there's just so many things that I'm so grateful for from the office to like things that are happening behind the scenes to just like I'm just so grateful and thank you to every single one of you who like is in a silent YouTube viewer or like follows me on Instagram or does like whatever and maybe you're a friend of mine customer or like whatever like you go to an event like you did you don't need to spend a single like penny or dime. My like why and mission I think on this earth is that I want to help women like find hobbies to build their own life independence and confidence. Like that is truly what I care about. It does not need to be a friend of mine product. I want you to be doing whatever works for you, whatever makes sense for you. I love to make friend of mine product because I want it's like the stuff that I want to see out there. But like at the end of the day it's not to me it is not about like the why is just a lot bigger. Like I want to service you guys in like waking things in a way that I think you guys would really like them. But at the end of the day like my why is for you guys to like get a hobby. It doesn't even need to be a single one that I'm doing. Like whatever it is. It could be literally anything. It could be watching YouTube videos. It doesn't matter, but to just find something for you that gives you like those moments of day that give you some sort of like like reprieve, some sort of you know, confidence or independence. I think as a woman specifically it's so easy to be so focused on like taking care of everyone else where you like don't necessarily take care of yourself, especially as you get older and you're a mom and all these things. So anyway, I am just so grateful for Stitch Tour, for for Friend of Mine I just I'm so grateful and this week specifically of course has been like a very busy week. We've had a lot going on, but it's been like very surreal. We had a really cool dinner last night that was like insane. Like I just can't even believe the like tables that I'm able to like sit at. I'm like, okay, this is like crazy. And like that's what kind of what I mean by that. It's like it feels crazy cuz I'm like, really? Like this is just crazy, but I'm just so so grateful and yeah, it's been insane. So anyways, we are off to go record with Barbara Bradley. I want to show you guys I don't even think I've shown you guys my stationary that we got from a friend of mine for House Guests, not friend of mine. When we did the rebrand, we got the stationary made. And like here is like the inner envelope, the actual card, and then we have these cute little like wax seals. And I'm upset Oh, sorry. I haven't obviously taped it on yet, but I'm like obsessed with these. I didn't tape it yet cuz I wanted to show you guys this letter. Anyway, I've gotten really into thank you cards this summer. Like I'm out of all of my stationary and I had like 300 cards because I'm writing thing Like every week I keep a running list in my phone of like thank you cards that I need to write. Some of these are House Guests, some of them are just like kind of like stationary, but anyway, that's like been my thing this year has been thank you cards. >> [music] [music] >> As if this week couldn't get better, Barbara Bradley, founder of Vera Bradley, she's everything. She's 87, invited Megan and I to come visit her in Indiana. We'll be going. It was just like the perfect morning. Sorry, it's so loud I'm at the airport. I'm tired, getting lunch, and then back to work. I love you guys. Hope you enjoyed this vlog, and I'll see you in the next one. Bye.
