We heard reports on Tuesday that Hugging
Face was attracting acquisition
interest. Today's reports indicate that
Nvidia is in talks to acquire the AI
startup for approximately $13 billion.
This potential deal follows Nvidia's
recent series of aggressive acquisitions
and investments in the AI sector,
including agreements with Poolside and
Grok. While Hugging Face, a platform for
sharing AI models, recently dealt with a
cybersecurity incident, it remains a key
player in the AI ecosystem with the
support for major tech companies.
Amazon and Nvidia have significantly
expanded their partnership to meet the
surging AI demand with Amazon committed
to deploy 2 million additional Nvidia
GPUs, including the upcoming Rubin and
Blackwell Ultra models, across its AWS
infrastructure through 2028. This deal
extends beyond chip procurement,
integrating Nvidia's full technology
stack, including Vera CPUs, networking
hardware, robotics platforms like
